I have one of these and they're magnificent. I wouldn't part with one for less than 5 BTC (imo)

This is why I have liquidated my position in Bitcoins. There is very little upside going forward. Block size limit is too low. No forward moves of late have any traction whatsoever and demand continues to lag. Way too little upside for such a risky proposition so my advice is to move into dollars. Only a significant change in the economy could alter this forecast.

Two major factors: Ease of use and price volatility. Both of these issues should become less relevant with time.

I don't think we'll see $10,000 until the next halving, so roughly around 2020.

It will likely be worth more than it is now. I expect that there will be a much more mature ecosystem that is shared with altcoins but bitcoin will maintain its gold status.

A lot of people have different ideas about BTC but the one idea that keeps me interested in BTC is that it is like a central bank in your pocket where you can store your wealth. That alone keeps my attention.

Without the willy bot, we can finally get an indication to what a halving will do to the BTC price. The landscape is VERY different to back in 2013 - in particular, there is no longer a central exchange like Mt Gox.

It will be similar to gold on the FX markets. Right now, the low marketcap allows BTC to be easily manipulated.

There is a halving around June. This party is far from over!

I doubt it, but I wouldn't be surprised if BTC was around $5,000 a coin by then.
