61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO and WAVES on: December 30, 2017, 07:48:05 PM
I didn't research Neo very much so I don't know about that, but Waves looks really promising in 2018. Lots of development in various areas should be finished in 2018 in Waves and that should make the price jump pretty high. HODL and profit.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 Portfolio For millioners on: December 30, 2017, 12:19:46 PM
It seems that more technologically advanced coins such as DAG-based cryptos (Byteball, IOTA) and privacy-oriented coins (Monero, Dash, Verge, DeepOnion) and getting increasing attention lately, so I would focus on those in the following year. My bet also is that Waves will attack some top market cap positions when all the promised upgrades are implemented.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOGE thoughts. Good entry point? on: December 25, 2017, 04:58:43 PM
I don't think Doge really has some development going on, which means that any price increase is most likely not based on any fundamentals, but rather caused by some pump & dump speculations. This being said, getting into Doge seems to be quite risky. It definitely wouldn't be my coin of choice.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are BCC And BCH same? on: December 24, 2017, 04:16:59 PM
Yep, this was messed up by the Bitcoin Cash guys... they first started using the BCC ticker, which was already taken but they didn't know abbout it Cheesy
So now the righ ticker for Bitcoin Cash is BCH, but some exchanges still use BCC because they listed it like that before and for some reason didn't change it to the correct one yet.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto hype and how to be ahead on: December 24, 2017, 11:55:48 AM
It's basically impossible to say when a bubble will burst. If you sell much before, you'll loose on possible profits, if you sell after, you'll loose because of the falling price. But you need a crystal ball to see when is the ideal time to sell.
In any case, I think that what we see now is just an expected correction after huge growth. I'd say it will stabilize soon and will continue to grow again from the current position.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀 |ANN| MYSTERIUM NETWORK - Decentralized VPN built on blockchain |MYST| on: December 23, 2017, 08:29:30 PM
Can i run MYST over TOR?

I'm not completely sure, but I think that yes, it should be possible to connect to a Mysterium node via Tor. However, I'm not sure if it's really worth it because it would significantly slow down your connection and Mysterium will be very similar to Tor (just much faster)... it would be like connecting to Tor over Tor IMHO.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash vs. Bitcoin on: December 23, 2017, 08:24:25 PM
#Bitcoin indeed has problems with scalability right now, but it will be solved when the Lighting Network is implemented. Bitcoin Cash, on the other side, doesn't have any real development ongoing and the only option it's intended to scale is by increasing blocks, which is unsustainable in the long run.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1 ETH - should buy alt or hold on to it on: December 23, 2017, 08:19:59 PM
It depends on how much you want to risk and how big profit you expect. Bigger risk equals bigger possible profit.
Keeping ETH is probably much less risky than buying some altcoins, but the short-term profit is also quite limited. Buying alts can bring you much bigger short term profit, but is also much more risky.
As always, it's your money so it's up to you to do the research and decide Wink
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's bubble is going to burst on: December 21, 2017, 02:54:56 PM
What if not? A lot of people are selling and expecting this correction, and if whales have enough appetite to eat them all - there will be no correction, to everyone's surprise.

That's quite possible. There are so many new people entering the crypto market, that most exchanges are having huge delays (several weeks) with approving registrations and some of them even temporarily disabled them as they can't process so many people. There's an avalanche of new buyers trying to get in. So if there will be some correction, it will be bought up very quickly.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the next dominating crypto after bitcoin and ethereum on: December 21, 2017, 02:44:02 PM
Actually it is Bitcoin Cash but it has a very bad reputation...

Of course it has a bad reputation. It's a purely speculative assed made to fill pockets of Roger Ver and his friends. It has basically no development and brings nothing new apart from changing one number in the Bitcoin code. Copy-paste scam coin. And all the "advantages" of higher block size will become obsolete and ridiculous once Lighting Network is implemented in Bitcoin. They just need to play several rounds of pump & dump to fill their pockets before it happens and BCH crashes.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is DOGE pumping? on: December 21, 2017, 02:38:42 PM
I don't think Doge has any development now, so it's probably not because of some news... probably just classical pump & dump is being played by some PnD group. I personally wouldn't invest in Doge right now.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some ICOs Block investors from USA? on: December 21, 2017, 02:33:43 PM
Many ICOs, thus, have  a choice: either comply with these strict regulation and only allow accredited investors to participate, or open the ICO to everyone except those from US, China, and Singapore.

You should go thank your government for that. They know much better than you what you should and shouldn't do with your money and they decided that ICOs are too risky for you. Soon they will decide that cryptos are also too risky for you and you're f**ked. Only "certified investors" i.e. the bankers are allowed to get profits from the newly emerging tech and startups.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀 |ANN| MYSTERIUM NETWORK - Decentralized VPN built on blockchain |MYST| on: December 21, 2017, 12:47:35 PM
just hold, Mysterium will rise.  Wink

That's what I'm doing since the ico but better it'll be rewarded as it deserved. I missed many opportunities during that time.

I think Myst will rise rapidly at the end of January when the first pre-alpha testing version of the product is released. Then they should also start some marketing campaign to promote it. Also, they have a lot of new developers, so the progress should be much faster now. Just HODL and it will get worth it soon enough Smiley
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: December 18, 2017, 08:49:51 PM
2018 will be the year of DAG coins

That's true. It looks like both Byteball and IOTA are awakening and attracting more attention than ever. And when people start researching and find all the advantages of DAG, they have a high chance to become mainstream. Finally.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: December 18, 2017, 08:11:11 PM

That's nice, finally some news article about Byteball again... Byteball is great, it just needs more news presence and marketing in general to get mainstrem. Looks like it's on a good way Smiley
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Bitcoin pops... on: December 17, 2017, 11:31:40 PM
I don't know if Bitcoin will get into a massive correction. I hope not, but if/when it does, I think it will take the whole crypto world with it. I really doubt some altcoins would hold their price when Bitcoin falls. That would be a massive panic sell of all cryptos/tokens.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the next cryptcoin listed on the CME? on: December 17, 2017, 05:44:11 PM
I also think that Ethereum and Litecoin, maybe also Ripple, have the highest chance to be listed @ CME and possibly also other markets. I don't think they will add any other coins for now.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves before end of 2017 on: December 16, 2017, 06:46:03 PM
If Waves launches everything they promised, it's going to be a big thing. $25, as was mentioned earlier, is a bare minimum IMHO, it has potential to go even much further. Once it becomes one of the fastest blockchains (Waves-NG) with pretty cool decentralized exchange and smart contracts, it's going very high.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull market on: December 16, 2017, 02:20:31 PM
Yep, there is a lot new money coming in crypto, total market cap is over $550 bil. Also, investor are finally trying to diversify their portfolio, that's why most of altcoins and tokens are also rising, not only Bitcoin as it was in the past few months.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BIG NEWS for ETH: ** CRYPTOPETS ** on: December 16, 2017, 12:47:48 PM
All this CryptoKitties mania (including other based on this is) is a complete madness Cheesy Why would somebody in their righ mind pay thousands of dollars in Ethereum to get a virtual kitty?
I think it will be like the Pokemon... everybody was playing it for couple of months and then it vanished as quickly as it boomed.
