61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: May 10, 2024, 09:14:30 AM
These Tennis matches begin early since they are in Italy.
Watched the evening rounds with Fognini finally winning his match against Evans.
Fabio will be playing Taylor Fritz in a few hours so he will probably struggle without much rest inbetween matches.
Those matches played late into the night were due to the on and off rain delays in day game at Rome.
Have all the favorites winning in these rounds scheduled to play today with Zverev, Fritz, Ruud and of course Djokovic.

Well this new about F1 i think it can be good for me as a Argentinian.

Globant becomes partner with the F1.

And you are thinking , why is this good as a argentinian?. Well Globant is an argentinian enterprise one of the so called unicorns and is backing since alst year Franco Colapinto career in F2 alongside YPF (argentinain antional oil company), so MAYBE this can put more solid base to Franco Colapinto to become a F1 driver in the future, he is now in the williams academy..... finger crossed.
Seen some posts on X yesterday that got me thinking about where you are from.

https://twitter.com/BitcoinNewsCom/status/1788166196832907741

It had me thinking about what you said and concluded that any endorsements from F2 of these huge enterprise corporations can only be a good thing towards your countries economy. Being in this global turmoil we are all in at the moment.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gary Gensler's SEC sues Crypto Influncers and posts on his Twitter as propaganda on: May 09, 2024, 01:08:40 PM
There's just bad news when everyone gets ready to wait for the price to be applied. I think that the alleged violation is still not completely true, because before this came, Robinhood also had good faith and was pro-active in coordinating with the SEC for regulatory clarity. The hope is that we can quickly find common ground and the market will return to normal if not many more will come forward with the same problem.
That is the thing, there was no regulatory clarity at the time when it came to cryptocurrencies.
The SEC are capitalizing on this vulnerability from all these companies they are targeting.
Does it seem like Gensler is prosecuting them on a level playing field with these filings and cases against cryptocurrency?
I think not.

^
Yes, I read about that. Robinhood seems to be abiding on every meeting. 16 meetings. CEO of Robinhood Vlad Tenev is frustrated with what SEC is doing to them.

And on other news about our topic guy.
SEC Chair Gary Gensler: ‘Crypto is a small piece of our market, BUT…’
https://ambcrypto.com/sec-chair-gary-gensler-crypto-is-a-small-piece-of-our-market-but/

Quote
“Crypto is a small piece of our overall markets. But, it’s an outsized piece of the scams and frauds and problems in the markets.”
Quote
“You have a whole central bank, and support for one currency, generally per economic region, which is not the case with Bitcoin.”
Quote
“Bitcoin has the leading market share in ransomware, and that’s publicly known. It’s the token of choice for ransomware.”

They are targetting big companies which is obvious from the names of the attacked ones. Coinbase, Kraken, Consensys, and now Robinhood. They do not even try to look at how they can protect the other investors who are victims of scams from tokens that are created literally for evil intentions.
Those big guys will always follow the rules to keep their companies intact while the small ones are the ones who are doing the hit and run and they don't even see it.
Robinhood has abide by their rules from the very start yet they are still in Gensler's crosshairs.

Quote
“Crypto is a small piece of our overall markets. But, it’s an outsized piece of the scams and frauds and problems in the markets.”
That statement from the SEC's chairman tells you everything you need to know.
Nothing will change this guys mind no matter how narrow it is towards all cryptocurrencies.

This is actually a pretty good deal though, over 3.5 corners for 2x odds. I just checked Dortmund's corner statistic on their last 5 UCL games, all 5 of them ended up with over 3.5 corners so this could be most likely another hit. Im going to follow this for sure lol, its a no brainer
Nice, our tickets cashed as Dortmund exactly ended up with four corners.

It's tempting to roll it all over on Real Madrid tomorrow, but i'll probably look for something else.
Rolling it on Real Madrid to win? Well I picked Real madrid to win on BSFL so I think imma put my money tonight on Munich though just in case if we get a lucky win from the germany side again tonight

Anyway Im glad that I actually followed your bet though. I bet that on another site so yeah cant really share it in sportsbet related thread but you know its really great that you actually found something like that. I've never really look for corner options so far because most of the times, the odds are pretty low so its kinda surprising for me to get 2x on
Real Madrid left it until the last 3 minutes.
After Bayern scored I placed a bet and they were 1.60x to win. Real Madrid tied it at the 87th minute into the match.
Then the madness started to happen with I believe 9 minutes of stoppage time. Couldn't recall because it was unbelievable how Madrid managed to salvage this from the depths of hell for the Spanish stadium and everyone who were in there watching their team from being eliminated.

So we won't have the All German Champions League finals some were dreaming to have after all.

You can always share your bets if they are high odds as we would like to see those kind of bets made on here if they are successful. Even if they are in a form of a betslip you can say what you have wagered and the odds. Flexing is allowed here! Grin

I skipped the Real Madrid match as I was focused on watching some CS2 earlier.

I did grab today's NBA special (Knicks to win and Hart double-double @1.80), and I still can't believe this won when the live lines were 1.30 for the Pacers at one point. The Knicks had a perfect start in the first quarter leading by double digits then after Brunson sat out for a quarter and a half because of a hand injury, the Pacers took control, and finished the first half with a ten-point lead. Once Brunson returned in the third quarter the situation completely turned around for the Knicks and the Pacers couldn't get a bucket to stop the Knicks' momentum.

Watched the Pacers vs Knicks game yesterday and Brunson was injured in the 1st quarter but toughed it out until the 2nd quarter when his right foot was too hard to stand on. He did return in the 2nd half but sporting new kicks.
Had a 14.00x prop bet and had all of the other 4 hit expect for Brunson being only short by 17 rebs/assists/points.
He could of easily got any of those props for the betslip to land if he had played the 2nd quarter. But that is the risk of doing prop bets.
Your player can get injured or fouled out before they hit your prediction for them.

@danherbias07
So for tomorrow's Denver Nuggets vs Minnesota Timberwolves match, is Murray confirmed to play as the odds are showing he was not suspended for his childish and uncalled for behavior in their last match.

Don't forget about the Sportsbet Jackpots going on. Put in my picks super early yesterday and was the 23rd to put them in.

https://sportsbet.io/sports/survival-games

There is also an NBA Predictor for these play-offs. There were only 2 other people who put in there picks before the deadline tonight for the Boston Celtics game.
65  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: May 09, 2024, 12:03:40 PM

Yes, few people really believed in Aldo and he came back with everything and showed that he is still a great fighter. But I don't think he will remain or at least fight sporadically. I don't believe he's a regular ranked fighter in the UFC.

Yes, a few people not including myself because I bet for Martinez but do you hear Jose Aldo's Ring interview? He said that this is not his last fight and he could go and get the belt to be the Champion, he is taking the risk and going for it and becoming the champion for sure I think that he meant something and he will do it here is the clip.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-5TZQcKUIg

Very interesting, I hadn't seen his speech yet, I hadn't paid attention. But it is very interesting that he is a ranked fighter, if he manages to maintain his pace in all his next fights, as was the case in this last one, he could easily be a top 3 or top 5 fighter. The UFC only stands to gain both competitively and financially.

No doubt Aldo capitalized on his last win and he said he's going to sit with Dana who is probably working out another contract for him. There were discussions on some channels that after Sean Omalley vs Merab, it's going to be Sean vs Aldo because of the money they could make.  He said he wants to get a title, maybe Dana will grant this wish.

All of a sudden, many of them are interested in Aldo.  His hype restarted and then Chito Vera also asked for a rematch.
If Chito Vera gets a rematch than why not McGregor too?
We all need to remember, Aldo retired and took his career to boxing. His rank doesn't look so good even with that win last weekend.

Uninteresting card for the UFC this weekend and not going to waste any effort in mentioning about it. If you want to go ahead but I doubt you will find it interesting to even discuss about.
Much like the CEO of his own company doesn't care about fights that he is promoting and even sitting in the APEX and watching as MMA Experts had exposed him to have gambled on an NFL game instead.

Fighter Exposes Dana White! He wasn’t even watching “Least Fun Fight Ever”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlXXjG_fGq8

There is possibly only one fight that I would have interest in placing a bet on or even watching and that is of Robelis Despaigne. And that's about it for this St. Louis card which Joaquin crashed the UFC press conference for prior. What an absolutely foolish and childish thing to do as everybody remembers what Dana's reaction was to that outburst on the mic by Buckley.
It really is a very weak card. But I look at it positively as there will be many better ones and everything is closing in on that. There are categories that have their belts at a standstill and will soon have to move. Bad days are necessary for better days.
Yeah it is. Anything after will be compared to UFC 300 from now on.
That is how it was the BIGGEST CARD EVER for the UFC!
Anyone who says different is just a fool who only comes in here to troll us and should just move on.
Cap!

Will check out the Despaigne and throw some bills on that fight. The Ulberg fight could be something but the guy fights are just uniform and very boring.
Out of Israel's camp so you know those bums are going downhill fast. Cheesy

I think Lando has become a consistent contender and this will turn out a great year for the F1 fans, I think.
It depends. The car needs to stay powerful in the meantime. McLaren brought a huge update to Miami. This also helped Norris a great deal here.

However he is absolutely a wonderful driver. One of the most talented drivers on the grid undoubtedly. He got so many podiums - it must be 15 - until this race but still no win. Finally he took advantage of this chance and got his first career win. I would love to see Norris being a contender for podium all the time but it depends on McLaren to keep up with others in power.

By the way I read that Leclerc wasn't able to drink water during the race because of a system error. Driving a full race without water at 60° and still being on podium is really tough and nice work.
That is critical if Ferrari is having such failures when they have equipment malfunctions causing a driver to not retain enough water to finish a race in the Miami heat. As you can see after the race many drivers were pouring the water from their drinking bottles over their heads. What if that system error affected his breathing during the race?
So Leclerc would have a hard time retaining proper oxygen levels during the race from the G-Force pressure produced by the speeds these cars achieve?

Thanks for contributing some useful information for the rest of us F1 fans that actually care about these facts and not just the outcome for their bets or pool results.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: May 08, 2024, 11:39:27 AM
I don't understand Elon Musk's intentions. Are you a person who has everything in life for money? Do you want more money? I don't know, but I think Elon loves him, because I don't see any other way for him to be a person like that. He spoke badly about bitcoin and that condemned the most experts to go against him, and the bitcoin community doesn't accept him very much, almost I don't do it because it seems to me that he is an egocentric person, and he is also a very millionaire person, with many plans and projects even to go to other planets, so what I think he wants is more attention for him, for them to adore him and for them to say which is the best, all that egocentrism, I still remember when he spoke badly about bitcoin and made it drop in price.
I think that at this point we are way beyond making money, I feel like Musk doesn't know what else to do in his life to keep bringing attention on him, that's way he tweets all the stupid stuff and sometimes (oftentimes) behaves like a kid. He is extremely egocentric and I bet he is a very difficult person to deal with, no matter if you're his friend or if you work for him.
He has found his calling being a Fighter of Freedoms on the internet as you can see from recent actions contributing funding a lawsuit against Disney with Gina Carano months ago.
https://www.reuters.com/world/us/fired-mandalorian-actor-sues-disney-with-funding-elon-musk-2024-02-06

Now he is having backing from the former creator of his own social platform X.

"The Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey has left the board of Bluesky, the decentralised social network he helped start, and encouraged users to remain on his first site, now owned by Elon Musk and called X."

Bayern vs Real Madrid is a nice one to place a bet on since the favorites to win the tournament are nearly 2x.
Still @1.93x which are where most of your price points are to put on a wager.
Imagine if Bayern Munich win even at a fairly high @3.80x and we see an all Bundesliga Finals. Shocked

Some books had Borussia Dortmund @5.80x to win yesterday's match.

Here are the markets for this Champions League match starting later today:

Gary is not backing down on cryptocurrency firms and has another case announced right on Monday against Robinhood. Which after the announcement had their stock tumble when the stockmarkets opened.

Seems like everyone is getting fancy new updates and I'm still stuck without seeing a Specials page lol

Yeah its been ages since we have regular specials but I just cant seems to let this go lol. Every single time I go to the site, specials page is the thing that Im always looking for. Heck we might even get one good specials one day so I just cant seems to skip checking on the specials lol

There are still no specials for the Champions League, so this is what i'll be betting on, the total corners for Dortmund felt more than doable even if they'll get pressured by PSG throughout the game.

What happened to PSG on their homefield?
Missed the match as obviously was too busy to watch it due to workloads but when got home seen they lost to Dortmund. How can that be?
They were 3.00x when I was planning on putting a wager on them to win the entire thing a few weeks ago. But now they are out.
What a shame for Mbappe as this was his only chance to do it with PSG before a possible trade to another club over the summer markets.
Think they corners favored the Parisans 12-4 after doing a quick check on a stats site.

Still not seeing any of the Sportsbet.io Specials that you are seeing @ralle14 or would have gladly taken that one for tonight's NBA play-offs selection on Denver and Jokic getting that many points for the Nuggets.
I'm still waiting for now, and see if the odds will go up even more. I'm more worried about the Nuggets winning today than Jokic scoring enough points since he can always put up 30+ points.
I hope you guys didn't put that bet on Jokic. That was not even fun to watch if most of your bets are on the Nuggets team and their player props. Most of them didn't even hit their average scores because of the freaking great defense of the Timberwolves. Naz Reid even blocked Jokic twice in just one play and he had 4 blocks in the whole game. His average is just 0.9 bpg. Without Gobert, he stepped up his game way, way, far on the defensive end and so did McDaniels and the other Wolves.

Now, I am scared to bet for the Nuggets in Game 3. A possible sweep might happen and this will be damn embarrassing for the reigning champs. Maybe I will take the props on blocks and steals next time. Cheesy
Another disappointment for the Nuggets after falling to the Timberwolves so many are calling for a sweep with them going to their homecourt now.
Jamal Murray might miss Friday's game due to throwing a tantrum for sucking so much.
Firstly making the money sign to the referee meaning he got paid to favor Minnesota, secondly for throwing a towel at another one then lastly the major one that can result in a fine of $250,000 - throwing a heat pack on to the court which was aimed at a referee.
He is in some hot water for doing this as it was during a play of the game and players were not paying attention to a filled bag on the court where they were stepping and could of tripped and injured any one of them including his teammates.
What a complete jackass move and bad sportsmanship.

Congratulations to the winner, I hope you can withdraw your money without being robbed.

I keep sending emails to support, to TheQuin, and waiting for someone responsible for Freebico.in to answer me something, TheQuin, Support, or whoever.

I'm not going to stop until I get my money back.
Sorry I might not have followed your problem from the beggining of its discussion, I want to believe that, you have tried contacting their customer care online, didn't you get a response from them too?

It's actually very bad that lately, freebitco has turned around to become one of the worst casinos in terms of customer service attending to issue from their customers.
But then on the other hand, with TheQuin suddenly going silent, I am afraid if things are really well with him in terms of being alive and in good health, because one thing we can confirm right now is that, the casino is not going through any financial challenge issue, if they were, I test that by now, they possibly should ended their signature ad campaign which is still running, and have been running for years now.

Let's pray and hope that TheQuin is alright in terms of health, if all is well, I trust that he will join the community again soon.
Had to check my user id aswell. But I'm close to the 53,000,000th user on the site - so no go. Cheesy

As for the ones who represent the site's reputation on this forum, it does not bode well for them if they refuse to answer their user's base question like this and completely ignore them completely.

I wouldn't invest anything in a site that does this to their users on a completely public open forum such as this one.

Once a site starts to emit strange and irrational things going on - on and off of here - here is definitely justification for all users of that site to be concerned to the max!
As a player on any gambling site, we are all their customers and deserve to know about any issues their own site are dealing with on the backend.
Transparency is key for any user and players of a casino site here on the forum is how any honest and reliable site should operate.

Despite some betting losses, I managed to make a profit. Especially in the José Aldo fight. The event as a whole was very good and exciting to see the Brazilian fans. Looking forward to the next one
Same here!
With my singles and had one betslip of 40.45x odds which I put a small amount on which would of cashed me a $1275 payout if only for two fights on the main card. Had a cashout of around $900 by the time those fights started.
But it was very fun to behold though and show to my friends. Grin

@jakelyson
Agreed with you about Pantoja's performance as many had said Erceg won that fight. Especially when that huge elbow landed and produced significant damage to Pantoja's forehead.
He would of won if he didn't so many takedowns in the final round and just stayed dragged the rest of the round on the feet because Alexandre was so evasive from scrambling on the ground.
Watched it again and see what all those MMA so called experts were talking about analyzing this fight.
For a 10th ranked fighter Steve Erceg held his own and is still basically a green hat in the UFC with just as many fights alot of fighters who have been in the organization for a longtime don't get the chance to debut on a Main Event card.

Saw that and it could ended early for alot of drivers but only Sargent seems to be the one to not make it til the end of the races.

Surprise was Norris lead most of the rest of the race after the yellow flag where most of cars near enough to the pitstop lane were able to pit and change tyres. Lucky for him since he had a clear path to the finish after that. Winning by the margin that he did was so very impressive for McLaren.

So Lando takes Miami. A very interesting result where almost everybody thought it was going to be another Max easy win. Would of went with fastest lap but Norris's team mate took that too.

Nah , I don't think europeans can bet on Apex Legends to be honest and today we have the finals on the biggest Apex Legends tournament. I've also searched on google for at least 2 years now and I cannot find any betting site who will give you odds for Apex Legends and those odds you've found out are from King Of Glory game and has nothing to do with Apex Legends but it was a nice attempt from your side hehe.

However , I think in the next year Apex will finally make it into esports betting and when this happens , I will be there betting and cheering for my favorites but until then , I do hope TSM will once again lift the trophy and won't let DarkZer0 beat them. Grin Also , have you ever played Apex Legends ? If so , maybe we can game when we have some free time.
Thought I recognized the symbol of the Apex Legends logo being with a circle then two wings on each side.
From the screenshot given of my search on the Sbet site that is shown.
Hadn't heard of King of Glory before and with Indonesia and Philippines participating in that instance shown could be a mod built ontop of a game. Sort of like what they did with League of Legends and DOTA, both being a mod of WarCraft III: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defense_of_the_Ancients

It is on console right? So they can make it easier to incorporate into the Esports venues.

The site I was chatting on about sports in general had some esports fans on there and they kept saying the ESL Pro League matches really sucked yesterday.
With so many different things going on in sports that tournament was the last on my list to watch. Cheesy
So don't know what they were exactly mentioning about it sucking so hard about.
They're right, the recent matches suck because it's mostly tier 2 teams while the groups that had the most top teams (groups A and B) already ended.

Or they could be referring to the unpredictable results because some decent teams had to fight through the lower bracket and last chance stage.

Jose Aldo's last fight was in August of 2022 and he lost there through a decision. Is he still up for a fight at 37 years old? I am a big fan of that guy in his prime where he could knock out his opponent in just seconds when the bell sounds. I've watched his games live in those days and I will definitely support him again on this event. Who knows, maybe he is near to hang up the gloves, or maybe it will be after this fight.

Good luck with your bets.
Aldo was one of the bets on my parlay that lost while the Gomis one was cancelled even before the weigh-ins began due to having a medical problem after weight cut.
Up until the Petrino fight all favorites on this card were winning as the announcer mentioned during the Brito bout. So lost on Pereira going for the submission when he could of got the knock out instead of going for an illegal backflip move that would DQ'd him if that shin hit his head instead of his shoulder.
Overall solid betslip with having most of them correct showing two red and one voided (Gomis),
Didn't put alot on it as that will be for the upcoming main events for 302 & 303.

It appears that the sportsbooks have very much underestimated this sexy fighting kitten Karolina Kowalkiewicz hehehe. Why are they doing this to her? She has more experience than Iasmin Lucindo, the Brazilian mannish woman that she is fighting, she has challenged for the championship before and she is also more sexy and beautiful. She will be a very good underdog bet, I reckon. She will win with a decision. Do not underestimate this woman.

This is the picture that she sent to me last night after her dinner hehehehe.

I believe she is charting another path if the fights aren't good or they don't pay as well as before. But, as far as I know, most fighters have this poor management of their careers. While they fight, the only forms of income are just the fight itself
Their fight was the biggest age discrepancy of the whole card. With Lucindo being 22 years old and Kowalkiewicz 38.
The faster fighter won here, no doubt from the way she handled Karolina around the octagon.

The main event was a great one to behold. Will need to rewatch it because it was going back and forth so much and the grappling moves were excellent to watch.

Already have made enough to cover the entry fee to enter into these promotions ten fold having won 250USDT and paid out within the hour of the last matches ending.
So it does seem it is an automated system much like when they are shown and graded within the EPL Predictor Competition console once a match ends.
Having predicted 5/7 matches so far (all yesterday correct) waiting on the 3 left to see if I can get that cash prize of $250USDT once more! Grin

Yeah I won that one, it was quite a gamble though especially after the 1st map. I did make a similar bet on the previous tournament with XG making reverse sweep against Falcons to win the whole tournament. The odds was incredibly generous as well, I didnt expect betting -2.5 after they won the 1st map would be 2.8 though. I guess with ESL has been concluded, Im going to spend my time on cs2 for now instead atleast until next major tournament next month lol
That upset from XG reminded me to avoid taking the map spread, so I only went with the match winner @1.5, which isn't bad.  Still, i'm glad for Team Falcons' completing the lower bracket since they mostly saved my bankroll after a disastrous betting in the groups.

With the ESL Pro League currently ongoing I might dabble into some CS2 bets too, and maybe include League (MSI starts in a few days) while waiting for the PGL tournament in a couple of weeks.

I hope we have some Apex Legends fans here because the ALGS winners bracket is about to start in a couple of minutes and once again , I'm ready to cheer for my favorite team TSM ( I also have their banner in the game ) and hopefully they can go back 2 back 2 back champions as that will simply make this record unbeatable! Also , eyes on Alliance and DarkZer0 because both teams are having insane skills and they are those teams who could dominate from start to finish an entire lobby.
This would a great addition to the Esports variety of gameplay offered to the fans of the genre.
After doing a quick search see some matches.

So are those the tournament matches you are referring to from Indonesia and the Philippines?
