As their is no bitcoin shop in our country so their was only option left is to convert to fiat and i almost sold my 80% of savings in 3rd quarter of 2017 and bought a land. Today i am feeling it was right decision as both side i am in profit, one i sold in high price and second the land i purchased it is giving me 50% profit right now.

I don't understand why some people have problem with hodlers. Everybody is not obligated to do what market whales want to do. They live in this crypto-community by their own attitude and not driven by the others. That's all it is.
They think that due to this hodlers the price is not moving but actually they dont know how the market is moving, Holding is one type of investment option which big players are doing for long term and they dont see daily as they know after certain time their investment will surely be x number of time profit giving. |

Friends all we know bitcoin is transaction is not allowed in india. only few indian companies are available that also require KYC. I dont want my details to get exposed. i have some doubt in purchasing bitcoins. I have listed my doubts below please clarify it.
1. If someone buys bitcoin from blockchain in another country,for example (US blockchain user). And if they send bitcoin to my wallet address(Indian block chain user). Can I able to receive bitcoin or not
2.If I receive the bitcoin from that user. can I able to send it to other wallet id such as zebpay or coinbase or localbitcoins etc..
Please clarify these doubts as soon as possible.

If you want to invest in Bitcoin without getting KYC, then i think you can buy directly from the users in Localbitcoins.com site, their you purchase directly from the users with transferring amount to their bank directly, so their is no cryptocurrency trade details in your transaction and you can show as any type of purchased from that user in account. Gambling addiction is a difficult subject to discuss.
People must only gamble with amounts they can afford to lose. It sounds stupid but it’s that simple.

I think almost every exchange will try to list it as their will be heavy trading and they dont want to miss the trading benefit from it. As almost all exchange are having ETH trading pair to BTC and ETH pair trading other coin are also their. So i think their wont be any worry for it. |

I want to find out why everybody wants to invest in altcoins, what I want to ask is, how much money did you get from altcoins so far?
I started trading so far, and I am having a profit of 1 dollar on every successful selling of the coins that is increased by almost 5 percent and up. By the way, I do not hold too much coin in my account yet, but if you have many investment, we can expect much profit out of it. Holding many coins dont mean that you will have more profit, hold only those coins which are moving daily up and down in volume so that you can trade and gain profit form it. That is the reason why most of the traders are investing in altcoins as they can move to up or down on any high / low price and give profit / loss endless . |

I don't believe Bakkt will influence crypto.I hate derivatives trading.I already hate bitcoin futures trading and the Bakkt project will bring nothing new to the table.There might be some short term hype that will increase the bitcoin price,but this will be due to the high expectations around Bakkt,not the influence of that new platform.Institutional investors will continue to stay away from risky assets,like crypto,because the markets are unstable and most of those investors will move to more secure assets like gold.
I agree with your first part of BAKKT wont bring anything new , only on implementation the market may move up for short term but immediately their will be heavy selling and shorting and it will move the market more down. This futures trading is not good for the market as without holding bitcoins you can manipulate the market by fiat currency by shorting the market and making panic in short term traders mind and bring the market more down in real. |

Folks, what a terrible year 2018 has been so far. I invested around 60K and now left with 5K. I did terrible mistakes and I hope there would be a turnaround sometime next year or so. Any suggestions?
Until unless you have not sold the coins and booked loss you still have chances to gain loss, if you can wait for market to improve. If you get some investment then buy in current price and average your buying price. This is the only best option for you. |

It is a market where only spare money should invested which you are ready to loose ,no need to grumble now wait and watch as per your statement you are already looser.
This is true that only spare or limited money should be invested as everyone know that market will rise and also it will crash . So either one should have holding capacity or be ready to face the fall and losses if need be . One has to move on and cannot just keep on thinking about it . That is why i am only working for bitcoin and earning is against my skill and bounty campaigns, so it is only my time and skill is invested and in future if it goes zero also it wont affect me, but i use it when ever i am in need of fiat currency. |

Who ever is the Bitcoiner will always wanted to use Bitcoin as a fiat currency but due to lack of stores and legality, we are not able to use bitcoin in daily life and instead we have to use it as a investment option and when ever needed in emergency have to convert it to fiat currency and utilise it.
