61  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Occupational hazards of trading crypto on: March 20, 2022, 09:56:21 PM
Well going bankrupt and killing yourself is probably the biggest hazard out there besides the 24/7 stress.
What is also unfortunate is that it seems bullruns are much shorter than bear cycles. meaning your happy time is less.

and it doesn't matter where you bought BTC. if you bought at 100, we go to 70k and back to 40k. the 40k hurts. Thats just how humans are. only few can zoom out and see the big picture.
Something else that I haven’t seen anyone point out yet in this thread is that being a full time trader you will have to be fully focused on your screen, and since you are required to be focused on your screen most of the time, it can also have an effect on your site later on.

So, it would be very important that anyone who is a trader takes this into consideration and be careful with the time they spend watching their screen so that it doesn’t affect their sight later on. Although there are now some features that comes with computers and smartphones these days, which is known as blue light filter  that aims to reduce the effect blue light may have on us. But even at that we all need to be careful about having our eyes fixed to the screen all the time.
62  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy more so you can sell some on: March 20, 2022, 02:08:03 PM
Both trading and investing are important ways to make money in the crypto market. The price of cryptocurrencies fluctuates greatly, and it is impossible to obtain stable profits all the time when buying coins in the crypto market. It is important to choose the currency of the transaction before buying.
I agree with the most parts but what do you mean by it is important to choose the currency of the transaction before buying" is quite unclear to me. Maybe you can explain it better.

Buying more to sell it later is the same as trading with higher amounts. Yes obviously to sell, you have to buy that asset first but don't go all-in either because the price may drop further down and you need some capital to buy the dip.

What's important is to realize whether the price is overrated or underrated. I give you an example, in March-April 2020 when Corona first hit, the price went down around $5k and that's what I call underrated price and when musk made tweets and doge was pumped, I call those prices and times as overrated. Ideally you sell when market is overrated and buy when it's underrated.
63  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a place in the world you could live like a king via sig campaigns? on: March 20, 2022, 01:11:42 PM
Don't take the signature campaigns as a main income. This is should be just a bonus for the time and effort spent on the forum but turning it into your main income, there are too many negative effects.
First, spamming the forum because of the fulfilling of the minimum requirements often are quite high and if you have nothing to add to the conversation, you just post low effort posts and turn yourself to a spammer.
That is right, people who try to make signature campaign their main source of income turns out to be spammers. They always drop low quality content in the forum. Most of them don’t even care about questions that are being asked on the thread, they just start dropping whatever they want so that they can be able to post as many comments as possible to be able to increase their earnings at the end of the month. But that can be a problem for them if the moderators should find out.

So, it’s really not good. But if you are someone that can make out time to just be on the forum and be answering questions for the whole day, then you can go ahead and do that as long as your answers are not spamming.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When and how did you discover Bitcoin? on: March 19, 2022, 06:34:18 PM
Almost everyone knows about Bitcoin these days. If you make use of social media or you go outside there is the possibility that you are going to hear someone talk about crypto currency or especially on social media. I got to know about cryptocurrency through Twitter. There are times that crypto currency usually trend especially when the price becomes bullish.

You would always see it trending on social media twitter and a lot of people would be talking about it. That was how I really got to know about it, though I also had to do my own research to have a full understanding on what it is really all about. I never really needed anybody’s support because there were lots of helpful articles that I could find online which helped me to create my own wallet and startup investment in cryptocurrency.
65  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market is confusing on: March 19, 2022, 04:46:18 PM
The period that the market has been bullish is already over. I get your problem, it is a normal thing that occurs every time in the market. When there is a bull run and the market reaches a new all-time high price and then faces a correction and becomes bearish, you would always see people who would keep on predicting that there is still going to be a bullish trend but which never happens. They are just making speculations that are not going to happen at all at this time.

But, it is not like this is the last time that there will be a bull run in the market, there are still going to be more to come but it is going to take some years before we see it again, just not in a hurry. Judging from how it has happened before, it is usually around four to five years for it to happen. So, let’s look forward to the next one in the few years to come.
66  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be wiser than the market on: March 18, 2022, 08:53:50 PM
One of the best advice so far. Some people are fond of chasing losses. They hardly know when it is right for them to take a break and call it a day, rather they will just keep on pushing even when they are losing money in the market. At the end of the day, they stand to gain nothing and lose almost all their trading capital.

Traders should learn how to not be greedy in the market and also be focused. Know when things are not going the right way.

There are some times that you would feel some kind of negative energy and your trading for the day wouldn’t just be quiet as good as you expect. It is not good to just keep chasing losses. It is best that you just take a break and go for it another day when your mind is positive.
67  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It seems that more people taking crypto trading as full time job on: March 18, 2022, 02:58:05 PM
Why not? If there is money to be made from it, then I would suggest that it would be something decent. However if we are not sure about what we could do, then it would be of course difficult to do it as well.

I personally make as much profit from crypto as possible by investing and trading, but I also try to earn as much as I can as well, even as little as signature campaigns matter in this regard, because 50-100 bucks today could be 1k tomorrow, who knows?

Crypto is not simple and you need to be careful what you do with it, and how you earn that money, you could be losing money just as you think you were about to earn some, we just need to be more careful. Adopting crypto trading is only good when you are skilled on all the aspects of trading otherwise just being a crypto investor will help anyone to make decent to huge profits over the time.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Gas Fee is too High? on: March 18, 2022, 02:01:23 PM
It's not about the amount that you are trading but simply Ethereum network is in demand to crypto investors since there's a lot of big Dapps and NFT that choose to start there that offers a lot of big profit to the early investors. If you will remember, Most of DEX airdrop that bring massive free money and NFT collections that grows skyrocket the price always start in ethereum before they implement a multiple blockchain support. With this huge potential profit, Many investor still choose Eth network despite being high fee and this makes Ethereum network always busy and cause the high fee.
That is the reason why it is still getting all those interests. I mean it is clear to everyone that we are talking about a place that barely gets any attention of itself, but to the projects in its chain. Nobody really buys ETH just to buy ETH, let's not say nobody but not this much, and the gas fee would be so much smaller if it was just investors.

What happens is that there are tons of projects in ERC20 and similar networks, and that causes the gas fee to be high because people end up doing a ton of stuff in there. If we want to see it go down, newer projects should be in other chains but most of them are afraid you won't look at them. This is what happened to tron for example.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: Whats the talk about china new digital curremcy and de-dollarisation ? on: March 18, 2022, 09:12:28 AM
If you are living in a nation that has dollars as backup reserve currency, then you should be fine with dollars and there is nobody that tries to de-dollarize you or anything. I mean if you read news and believe them and make your judgement based on that, then you may get screwed and that is all on you.

Just look at your nation and what they use as reserve foreign currency and you will see which currency you should trust. Obviously if you live in Asia and your nation as Yuan as their reserve currency then you could be fine with not getting dollars but getting yuan, because that is the most popular in your nation, but that is the only case where that would be okay.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bull market on: March 17, 2022, 07:11:20 PM
The bull market is something that usually takes place after there is a halving. But, even after they halving, you can't really tell when it is going to start. So, the best thing to do is usually to invest ahead of time just like now that the market is bearish, you can start investing in the market as much as you want and buying bitcoin at a lower price.

By doing this, you will be fully prepared for the bull market whenever it is going to happen. And you can then just have patience and when the bull run takes place you can make your profit and sell when it’s early so that you will be able to cash in your profit and not encounter any losses.

Another thing is that the bull run is not something that last for a long time, it is just quick, and within a short time it is over although within that time frame it can take place twice.
71  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanction is the right option? on: March 17, 2022, 06:46:20 PM
I mean I wouldn’t say that no one learns from history, that is after all the whole point of history, learning from the past. That’s at least why I’ve always loved history and studied it closely. I think trying to cripple Russia with sanctions is really all we can do at this point in time. If NATO were to try and fight back at all, that would assuredly start World War III. Then China gets involved and we probably all will die , so I think we are doubt the best we can right now without starting another war.
Nuclear weapons is the only reason why we should not attack Russia (and death of all the soldiers as well). I mean without nuclear weapons, it is clear that NATO could attack Russia, and even China and beat them very easily, they just have insane weapon difference.

Let me put it this way, USA spends twice more than China and Russia combined, MORE THAN DOUBLE. That should tell you how strong USA could be in case of a war and we are talking about just one nation versus the threat here, then we have all of Europe as well.

Cut down on economy, live in poverty, use all that to produce more weapons and money on everything, you end up with even more success. But, what is the result? What would you get? Maybe some American puppet at Russia? Which will lose elections as soon as possible and another Putin at the top? Are you going to topple CCP and get a capitalist elected? I doubt that. So, there is really no point in a war.
72  Economy / Economics / Re: The economy is important for a family! on: March 16, 2022, 08:44:02 PM
If you could teach your children something then it is great, but let us be honest and also realize that kids do not really understand classes all that well when they are young. How many of us truly remember the classes we took from age six to ten?

Those were not bad, we learned how to write and all, but there were many things that was taught and not really needed to be. We should focus more on life related stuff at those ages, and finance could have a part in it but maybe after being a bit older.

Things like math could be used, science, history, but in a way that would be more in real life related so that you could get their attention. Not "open up page 67 of your books" type of teaching, that's too old school.
73  Economy / Economics / Re: China's strategy on the Ukraine invasion war on: March 16, 2022, 05:35:43 PM
It is basically about the amount they are willing to spend plus the other side taking hold of some information. If you send someone regular AR weapons and ammunition then even if the other side gets it (probably already bought it from someone way back when it first came out) then there wouldn't be any dangers.

However, airplane is something that runs on tech, and if the other side gets their hands on that tech, they could get a better defence ready for something like that, and it would be scary. So, sending like F series war planes would be a risky move, because it would give Russians time to get one and then result with some tides turning for the USA.
This is correct and why USA doesn't send stuffs with tech in it. There are only a number of them, and even they do get caught and researched very well somehow as well, not easy, but can be done and that is why it keeps getting changed all the time. This is why drones are used right now. Those Bayraktar Drones that Ukraine uses costs like 4 million dollars or so, cheapest big weapon in the entire world, we are talking about like the missile you use to take one day costs more than the drone itself.

Hence, I believe that the war world will go towards that, we will see plenty more of those. And I mean like regular drone size things that will be managed all together all at once from a center and attack plenty of soldiers all at once.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins would you invest $ 1,000,000 in? on: March 16, 2022, 01:56:06 PM
I like you choices they seem quite safe ones. I've been digging around and found 2 projects that seem good to me 1st one is Lunafi which is a Blockchain based gambling platform that looks really nice and the community is so welcoming and $ENGN they're actually about to release they're shooter game soon and it looks like Fortnite on steroids and blockchain! But as always DYOR and never go start investing slowly!
Yes you are right, Engine ($ENGN) seems like a pretty good cryptocurrency/Blockchain gaming project. I hope that it is going to be successful , although that would completely depend on the team and how much hard work they will put in in promoting the project to reach more users or audience.

This token would be a pretty good choice to make and I believe that the value will be higher in the future. But like I said it is totally going to depend on the team and the level of hard work that they are going to put in on this. Sometimes there are good projects that you will see in the cryptocurrency market and due to one reason or the other they wouldn’t meet up to your expectation of them. So, I am hoping that this one is going to be different. From what I’ve seen so far it is a really good project.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which are your favorite crypto launchpad projects and why? on: March 16, 2022, 09:05:00 AM
Im always aiming to get into any projects that will be launched on the DAO market or polkastarter. it's caused by the ROI being guaranteed by the demand when you are able to take a spot to get into the sale. Making more than 20x or even 30x will be so easy. Even the ROI will be random but as long as the demand will be more than people wanna sell their tokens and this will create a big pressure to make the price go up. I guess your friends were joining in the IEO or IDO on the most trusted platforms. Recently binance has been giving anyone 40X ROI through stepn. This proves that if you can earn a lot of money from there. The only thing that needs to be prepared must be investing a lot of money in the tokens that used by the exchange or launchpad to be able to participate in the sale. This is the most difficult task. You can imagine competing with hundreds of thousands people to invest in the same project.
There is no guarantee with that as well, you have to realize that. This doesn't mean that general outcome is not like that, it could be like that and I agree that it is definitely a great way to make money. However, do not put all of your money on just a single launch, just separate it into a few different things.

This way if you join 10 launches, and 3 of them go down and 7 of them are like what you said, then you would be making a good profit from it. I mean lets say you have 10k, and 3k of that goes to waste on bad projects, that 7k could do 10x and be 70k, that is still awesome. But, if you put all 10k into one, the risk of getting zero is too big and doesn't worth it.
76  Economy / Economics / Re: Putin next steps and where it may fail spectacularly on: March 15, 2022, 08:14:25 PM
Putin knows that his troops are destroying residential buildings and deliberately shooting at the peaceful civilian population of Ukraine. The captured Russians directly say that they received an order to shoot at the civilian population, shoot at women and children. Now in the south of Ukraine there is a stubborn struggle for the city of Mariupol, and after unsuccessful attempts to capture this city with 400 thousand inhabitants, it is simply destroyed by Russian rockets and artillery. Agreements on the provision of "green corridors" do not work, since at the agreed time the Russians begin shelling the city. Ukrainian intelligence has clearly established that Putin personally instructed not to release the civilian population of Mariupol and not to allow humanitarian supplies into this city. Putin is a killer of the civilian population of Ukraine.
That is all because he is 70 years old and he has gotten whatever he wanted until this age. When you have that kind of hubris, and that kind of power for 70 years, then you turn into a maniac whenever someone tells you that you can't get something.

I mean think about it this way, if Ukraine didn't put up this much resistance when it was crimes (there was still a war, but Russia was more successful) then Putin thinks how come he can't do it now? This is why I believe that we should not be surprised that some maniac at the top of a huge nation with nuclear powers and a big military can't really end up comprehending he is doing something bad, that is because he doesn't really see it as a bad thing, since he is a bad person as well, what he does seems normal to him.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This Odd Job Would Have Put Thousands of Dollars in BTC in My Wallet on: March 15, 2022, 09:21:05 AM
I think people nowadays won't be falling to these kinds of tactics, right?
You can never say that, If a fraud like that keeps on existing that means there are still a lot of people that's going to fall for it. Just do the basic math, the OP was offered thousands of dollar to spread fake news and milk some money from their clients/investors once that fake news works.
Cryptocurrency is one of the best way to do it because these fraudsters can opt to stay anonymous.
People are going to learn once they get victimize but there will always be new people that will enter crypto, this makes them continue with their motive because they know there is someone that will fall for it. They promised the writers to write articles and get paid but I don't think any writer will agree if there will be no upfront payment and much more if the offer is too good to be true but even if we say that they will be paid, this was still not right and the op did a good job there for refusing the offer.

Pretty sure good karma can come on his way and he can get more than what he supposed to receive. Anonymity features of crypto can be an advantage but it can also be a disadvantage depending on the user.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the balance problem of cryptocurrencies? on: March 15, 2022, 05:06:45 AM
So now I'm going to do my own balancing. How Does? From now on I will sell when it goes up and buy when it goes down. I'm getting ready for the hit-and-run tactic. Best of luck.
That is the basic idea most of us gave you, like the normal word i kept saying for newbie asking advise and that is

"Invest what you can afford to lose"

and

"Buy Low Sell High"

if you can adopt those basics then there may be a light coming to your investing here.
Dude, if you add in "do not make any decisions based on your current feelings" to that list, you could create an amazing investor. I know it sounds like a joke, but just 3 very simple sentences could turn one person from a newbie to great investor. All you gotta do is save some money aside, put that into crypto, buy it when it crashes, sell it when it is too hyped, and never ever make any trades based on what you are feeling.

If someone can do these? They would turn just few bucks into millions in a decade or two. I know that is a long time to wait, but it is also a lot of money to be made as well. So, just follow these three and you would be awesome.
79  Economy / Economics / Re: Donate to Ukraine on: March 14, 2022, 05:28:09 PM
I believe that there are a lot better situations with crypto and Ukraine being on the spotlight right now. We have seen Ukraine officials saying they have used 100+ million dollars from crypto donations to buy guns, weapons, drones, food, armours and many other things to help their people fight off Russia and win. That is a great thing considering how we are on the right side of the world right now. That doesn't mean that we can't be really doing badly, neither.

It is also used by Russian corruption to get money out of Russia and into civilized world as well but it all depends on which perspective you are looking at right now.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to be investing in Bitcoin? on: March 14, 2022, 01:14:52 PM
Not in general but for those people in Russia and Ukraine, that is somewhat hard for them especially there is sanctions happen to Russians. I just put this aside, I'd never consider this as a factor for not investing Bitcoin, it perhaps a good choice either. The price isn't moving high by now, taking this opportunity means a lot in the future, huge profit will possibly we get when the market turn bullish again. And might be our biggest regrets if ever we miss this.

We have to think about 5years from now, that possibly x2, x3, who knows right?
I would assume that people who have seen the bad parts of the worlds history would know how valuable crypto could really be when used properly. I mean there is a good thing about how Ukraine will love crypto because it allowed them to get over hundred million dollars in donations and even though some governments won't like it, oligarchs of Russia got away with crypto and ignored sanctions as well.

So, everyday gives people more reasons to like crypto as well. I agree that when you hold it long enough, there will be more and more reasons and there will be more and more people getting into crypto and that is how you start making profits.
