61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any coins being pumped at the moment? on: June 08, 2017, 02:37:27 PM
Xavier coin (XAV) was being bought on Yobit from 1 Satoshi to 2 Im not sure how much higher it will go,
but someone was definitely trying to pump.
(Buy orders coming in for 2 satoshi then sell a couple coins for 1 sat to keep the price ticker at 1.)

Star (STAR) was being pumped but its already at 7 sat so it might be too late to buy in already.

I'll update if I get info on any new pumps. Sometimes I get info on coins on Yobit and small coins on Bittrex.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Humaniq CEO holds AMA on thursday on: June 07, 2017, 05:25:04 PM
I'm going with a conservative estimate of $5 per coin in 3 years.
Idea is great, just need to execute and this is a Billion dollar company for sure.

Humaniq reminds me of Alibaba/ Alipay.
Jack Ma realized that there were hundreds of millions of rural Chinese with no way to buy/ sell items on the internet.
By creating a shopping and payment company they would have access to, the companies combined are now worth close to $300 Billion.
Humaniq is a similar idea. Provide a necessary service to a large number of customers around the world.
This is a great idea. Hopefully we get some development news on Thursday.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: June 07, 2017, 12:43:33 PM
Can someone please explain to me what happened with fluffypony?  What is this terrible thing he is supposed to have done recently?

Said there would be a big announcement. People started buying and price went up.
Announcement was basically "there is no announcement. Stop basing your trades on shit people say on Twitter, we only care about writing good code."
People dumped their coins, lost money and got pissed because they expected to get rich overnight.

I was happy because I bought some extra coins on the dip. Smiley
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Capricoin CPC on: June 07, 2017, 12:11:52 PM
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cpc/#!wallets

As you can see there are some wallets holding very large sums of this coin.
There are currently 200,987,554 coins but many have not been in circulation.
After further research I feel like someone is trying to unload their coins slowly.
Its possible this coin is actually worth something but I have a hard time believing a $160 Million market cap is realistic.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Capricoin CPC on: June 06, 2017, 07:47:23 PM
Coin is up 45% right now.
Market cap was only $600,000 USD at start, currently at $750,000.

May be a pump, invest at your own risk but this coin is currently seeing a lot of action on Yobit and Bittrex.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Capripay & Capricoin [CPC] on: June 06, 2017, 06:48:09 PM
$600,000 market cap won't be hard to move.
Wondering if this is a simple pump and dump or if there is actually news/ development info coming.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Viacoin (VIA) - Safe | Segwit | Lightning Network | Auxpow | Fast on: June 06, 2017, 06:21:06 PM
Github is showing recent updates so its definitely being developed.
Project looks good IMO.

Market cap is still around $14 Million USD so I think its definitely worth investing and following.

Humaniq is definitely interesting.
I did not know about this AMA thanks for the info. Will definitely check this out.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex having a huge pump - 8Bit, Synergy, Parkbyte on: June 06, 2017, 02:35:17 PM
If you have enough Bitcoin you can easily organize a pump.
All you need is enough of a gain to attract attention, get on the highest % increase page on Bittrex etc and people will start buying.
Pretty easy to do with a cheap coin that has a low volume.
If you can get people talking on forums and buying your bags you can earn huge profits in this kind of unregulated market.
71  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Raising limits on Coinbase (help) on: June 06, 2017, 12:03:07 PM
Coinbase is having serious issues right now. I would advise using a different site like Kraken or Bitstamp.
You can not get any response from their support team for weeks/ months at a time, the forums are filled with page after page of people having issues with no response from support.
Maybe in a few months things will improve but unless they hire more support that site is doomed.
I have a ton of money sitting in an account I can't access and no response for weeks.
People complain about some of the exchanges having bad support but Coinbase is a huge company and has so many issues right now its unbelievable.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: June 06, 2017, 11:55:28 AM
Except Coinbase is totally fucked right now.
I would advise anyone to not use their service. If you have any issue with your account you will be waiting weeks or months for a response from support.
They are too busy spending money on facebook ads to hire personnel or make improvements to the website/ backend.
(Website was down several times yesterday.)
Maybe things will improve in the coming months but for now Monero doesn't need them to be successful. Its way undervalued and if you don't own some of these coins in a few years you are going to regret it. I would be very surprised if XMR wasn't $100 by this time next year.
Monero is the GNU Linux of the Crypto world. It doesn't need ads or corporate sponsors. Hard work and good code will prevail over time. This is a long-term project.
73  Economy / Trading Discussion / Bittrex studies tools on: June 05, 2017, 03:44:04 PM
I have been doing some trading on Bittrex and the site offers a lot of "Studies" tools-
ADX/DMS
Average True Range
Center of Gravity
MACD
etc...

The one I'm most familiar with reading is Bollinger Bands, the rest are mostly new to me.

Hoping I can get some advice from experienced traders as to what studies you are using and the types of indicators you look for in these tools.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: June 05, 2017, 03:38:37 PM
Yes Monero is listed on Poloniex, but currently in maintenance mode.
Bittrex accepting deposits/ withdraws so I'm not sure whats going on with Polo.

What do you guys think? Is this wishful thinking?
Volume is up a bit today after being really slow. Someone accumulating coins?
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [$XVG] VERGE [POW][MultiAlgo][BLACKHOLE][Entire Line of TOR/i2P Resources] on: June 04, 2017, 04:16:31 PM
Not sure if the faucet game is paying since I haven't received any coins,
but it is very well designed for a minigame!  Grin
Definitely try it if you have a few minutes.

Also, if you invest in this project you should consider mining some Verge to support the network.
Even a spare GPU or two can contribute some hashrate and help find blocks!
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [$XVG] VERGE [POW][MultiAlgo][BLACKHOLE][Entire Line of TOR/i2P Resources] on: June 04, 2017, 02:13:27 PM
Not seeing Verge mining listed on https://suprnova.cc/
If it was removed from pool, may want to update info in mining section.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: verge -XVG future price on: June 04, 2017, 03:53:56 AM
Well I was able to get a few hundred thousand between 35 and 75 satoshi.
Was hoping to buy at least a million to hold long term. I guess I will watch price and see if I'm able to pick up any deals in the future.
Not sure if I want to pay 90 to 100 Satoshi, will continue to monitor this project before I decide.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: verge -XVG future price on: June 03, 2017, 07:36:15 PM
I suggest anybody to hold minimum 1 million Verge when it hits 1 usd per coin.

Right now 1 million XVG would cost you .73 BTC or 1850 USD/ just over 1600 Euro.
Thats definitely something to aspire to if you are a serious trader and seems like a decent long-term investment.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: verge -XVG future price on: June 03, 2017, 03:27:07 PM
ok if TrueCryptonaire is interested in Verge you're fucking crazy if you don't buy at least a few.
(I've seen his posts here and he seems to make pretty rational decisions)

IDK if it will ever hit $1 (13.4 Billion circulating supply) but the developer is very active and even at 70 satoshi I think its worth investing a few dollars.
