61  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this a scam? on: December 15, 2020, 08:14:32 AM
Surely it is a scam. If I can transform $50 to $1M with my strategy why would I bother to share it? he placed his email on the center of the video trying to make people contact him and maybe he will ask for money before telling the "strategy" or send a script that will rekt your balance, withdraw your bitcoin or even tip it to someone( I experienced this once with a script in freebitco.in). If a strategy works like that I will just make primedice a money printer instead of sharing it to others. Don't let the balances in the video fool you.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: December 15, 2020, 05:22:06 AM
So what is or are your reason why you are dumping your coin?
There are 2 reasons for my on why I sell my bounty earnings before immediately after it is listed in an exchange, first is the urgent of needing money. There are times that I am in need of urgent cash and that coin is what I have in extra and what I can sell so I just dump it on an exchange. Second is if I feel that the project would be bad and price will slowly goes to zero so I just sell my coins at whatever is the current price and just get the full out of it while it still has value.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH 2.0 has still no Effect on ETH price on: December 15, 2020, 02:21:16 AM
Still, soon we will see how it will really affect ETH price. But I guess we should focus instead on the positive effect of eth 2.0 on the mainnet of ethereum and improving ethereum transaction speeds and cost.
So how dose one go by acquiring some eth 2.0 ?
You'll be needing to deposit 32ETH on the deposit contract in order to be qualified for it, however there will be a lock period that will last for 2 years which means you cannot move any of your funds at the moment of the staking.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Adult companies and bitcoin? on: December 15, 2020, 01:57:28 AM
Pornhub may contribute in increasing bitcoin awareness and adaption since more and more people will see the name bitcoin in the payment section and for sure some of them will be curious about it. Look at what happened to XVG price when they added it to their website for example.

I am sure VISA and Mastercard will regret their decision to stop service payments on the Pornhub website.
There is a valid reason on why did Visa and Mastercard cancelled they contract with Pornhub, it is about the accusation on pornhub about some of their videos. Pornhub is indeed one of the biggest adult website right now but I think it is not a big loss for Visa and Mastercard there are larger companies that they have partnership with.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is my Bank on: December 13, 2020, 02:52:33 PM
Now I have accumulated a small amount to be able to reopen a bank account but I think that instead of opening a new bank account, it is be better to just buy and invest in bitcoin so that I can expect more profit than the traditional bank.
Feel it for your self. As you said you started trading and you are generating good profits from it you now have the momentum to keep on going on trading why not just go at it. Opening a bank is wise, but investing it in bitcoin specially when you are feeling good about it is way better. Opening a bank cost a couple hundreds(may vary in each country and bank) which you can use as capital for more trades and generate more profit.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Screenshot of Satoshi's last post on this forum on: December 13, 2020, 12:26:35 PM
Satoshi has a balance of nearly 1 million BTC, let's guess what will happen if the wallet can be accessed by someone, whether it's the owner or maybe a hacker. Will the price of Bitcoin start to crumble and start not selling?
If a hacker gets a hold into this fud news will flood the bitcoin world and surely with that most people will start selling bitcoin. Not totally crumble I guess maybe a major dump would happen if this where to happen but its most unlikely to happen because its been almost a decade and still hackers can't get a hold of that wallet address.

There are a lot of possibilities, satoshi could've forgotten about that 1 million bitcoin and never bothered to find it, that seems ridiculous but that can still happen. We will never know because we do not know who is behind the curtains of the account satoshi. Best thing we could do is honor satoshi's wish to be anonymous and cherish the brainchild that is bitcoin.
It is indeed possible but I think he will never forget that he holds that amount of bitcoin in a wallet. If I where Satoshi and created something really valuable like bitcoin there is no way on earth that I will forgot about my holdings.
67  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Blockchain jobs, careers, certifications? on: December 13, 2020, 06:05:17 AM
How can I get an entry level career on blockchain? What do I need to do/study/learn?
What you need to study if you want a career on blockchain is programming languages. Solidity/Python/Java/PHP/Ruby is as far as I know the most used OOP programming languages on Blockchain development but there are still more that can be used.

Anyone know of any legitimate courses/certifications on blockchain? If you can mention if it's free that'd be a bonus ₿
As for courses udemy offers bunch of courses about blockchain and blockchain development go check it out here HERE
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: December 12, 2020, 11:48:23 PM
So how do you use your earned bitcoin in that country.
Here in my country bitcoin is not totally illegal it is just that you can't use it everywhere. But thanks to 2 bitcoin wallets we have here we can freely use our bitcoins to buy prepaid reloads, pay bills, cashing out for fiat currency, sending to banks is possible , buying game reload cards and many more. Most of the banks and remittance centers that we use to cashout our bitcoin is questioning us where does the funds come from and we just say its crypto and no more further questioning is needed. It is just one time questioning.
69  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I study to learn how to trade? on: December 12, 2020, 01:05:55 AM
Can someone point me to where I should begin?
First is learn the basics and fundamentals you needed in trading, buy low sell high might sound easy but trust me once you are the one trading you will find some hard times buying low and selling high.

And one more question: What is the minimum amount of money needed to start?
About the capital for you to trade. Personally I started trading with just $100 and turned it to around $500 I guess in 3 months and I know many person who didn't started with big money some of my friends even started lower at what I have used before and now their holdings are big. Big or small with the right trading strategy you can make it grow in time.
70  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the crypto market saturated? on: December 11, 2020, 10:45:59 AM
Do you think the crypto market is saturated? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Smiley
We see more and more new cryptocurrency each day because they are making money out of it. But we don't need to worry that the cryptoworld might be saturated because there are more and more coins popping out from time to time because most of them will most likely to lose value in a short period of time, crypto world despite having thousands of coins  only few hundreds of thousands have their own real uses and purpose. I see crypto market as survival of the fittest coin each weak coins will die soon.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Issue on: December 11, 2020, 09:46:58 AM
If they will release Diem (new name of Libra) I'm pretty sure they will use a separate more stable server for Diem and just implement in on Facebook platform to make it work as they want to. Server issues is pretty normal for any websites even our forum encounters some server issues sometimes where we can't log in to the forum.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I quit smoking and buy Bitcoin every week on: December 11, 2020, 04:25:48 AM
Good decision for you OP. Now the money you are using to buy cigarettes will not go to waste now, quitting smoking would be hard so just stay focus on your goal and try to do other things if you are feeling like you like to smoke. Go exercise or find a new hobby to replace your smoking time.
Some people don't care that smoking is burning money, it is throwing money away. It looks futile because of the many negative results of smoking.
Some people find it hard to quit smoking because it has become a part of their system, they didn't smoke just because they want too. I know some people who wants to quit smoking but it is hard for them because most of them got used to smoke whenever they are feeling unease.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 5 best coin or token? on: December 11, 2020, 02:32:30 AM
In trading in cryptocurrency your top 5 and everybody top 5 will always be different because it the results from trading one coin may varies depending on each traders strategy. In the end of the day a top from other trader may not give you good result. It will all come down to personal preferences for me.
You should explore each coin in the market and analyze the graph and see if what will work for you.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHO CAN SHUTDOWN BITCOIN? on: December 10, 2020, 11:30:07 PM
No. There is no one that controls bitcoin and its blockchain so no one can forcibly shut down bitcoin because no one has any control over it. No government can shut it down basically because it is decentralized. Bitcoin and the blockchain will continue to function as long as there will be people who will use bitcoin, miners who will help the blockchain and transaction moves.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effective tips to maximize low wager slot games on: December 10, 2020, 01:27:01 PM
Quote
The larger the wager, the higher the chances to win.
which I am not confident that this could be true. I've been gambling for quite some time now whether I bet in a higher amount or not chances of winning for me remain indistinct. I perfectly understand that OP just wanted to promote his gambling site but I will suggest highlighting other features that make the site differs and better than the others instead of giving false promises to the players, I guess.
Maybe what he want to say is because when you are betting large amount the win amount would be big too if you hit a win so it means early withdraw for you if you hit the win early with larger wagers. Correct me if I'm wrong but this is how I understand what OP is trying to say. Statistically larger wager doesn't guarantee higher win chance it is still the same if you bet $100 or $1 in each roll.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Low, Sell High on: December 10, 2020, 12:28:53 PM
People are afraid because they don't know a thing about bitcoin. They are bashing bitcoin for getting dumped like that but they don't know that price dump is like normal for most of us and we don't see it as a bad thing if bitcoin dumped like that because surely there will be a time that bitcoin will go on a bull run again and break its previous ATH. Now I'm sure most of them will buy bitcoin at peak and blame bitcoin because they will lose money, typical people who has close minds for bitcoin.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My analysis and opinion about btc and eth year 2020 on: December 10, 2020, 08:06:36 AM
Both bitcoin and ethereum has been bullish this year 2020 and I have hopes that hopefully bitcoin will reach $20k before the year end there is still almost 3 weeks before the year ends. With the recent pull back I hope the next attempt to break $20k will be successful, if not then I'm expecting bitcoin to be at around $17.5k-$18k in the start of 2021.
With Ethereum, with the launch of ethereum 2.0 I think that will help ethereum keep a steady phase to at least break $650-$700 mark.
78  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price 17000$ today on: December 09, 2020, 09:21:28 AM
$ 20k will be reached by the end of the year, yes everyone is sure that it happens !,
so don't sell bitcoins below $ 20k, just hold on, if everyone holds Bitcoin the price increases will happen,
come on! we have to work together!
The expected price correction comes in this day, we will see bitcoin dip I think in mid $16k-$17.5k mark and I hope that the next pump will beat the $20k mark this time. It will be a good time right now I think to buy some bitcoin and scalp trade or add more bitcoin for hodling till next year. I'm expecting bitcoin to reach $20k mark in near Christmas.
79  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what successfull trading tips have worked with you so far ? on: December 09, 2020, 06:05:45 AM
For me there are 2 main tips that I can give you. First is being discipline and having patience, trades are not always gonna be a win for you learn to control your emotions and have patience for each trades you do. Second is know when to stop loss and take profit. Always set a mark for stop loss to minimize losses and set a reasonable price mark to take your profits. Don't be greedy to aim for super high % profit.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Safe for Investment on: December 09, 2020, 05:01:32 AM
So how we make altcoin investment safe ?
We can't basically. Investing in new altcoin projects bears with huge risk of losing money you need to be good at analyzing projects in order to profit from it, but no matter how good you analyze some projects some of them will turn out just a scam. Its a mix of luck and analyzing for me for new altcoin projects. It's better to invest on existing top altcoins if you really want to have a safe investment.
