61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt Gox Upcoming release of funds to its creditors vs Btc Price on: August 13, 2022, 11:18:22 AM
I hope they will release the bitcoin in batches or else its gonna have a huge negative impact to the market, we've been hearing about the news of Mt Gox releasing bitcoin, but it has not happened, I hope this time around it's not to instill fear on investors in buying the dip because despite the news, bitcoin has been pumping ever since it dumped to 17k, any time they want to release it, it will be better it is in batches, because I'm quite sure that majority of those who will receive it will definitely sell off asap
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be careful buying alts right now on: August 11, 2022, 11:56:33 AM
It's too early for the bear market to be over, I am saying this because many think we have hit the bottom when ethereum made it to 900$, its not over and you shouldn't be buying coins with all you have, this is a fake out recovery.
how do you know that this is a fake recovery?, indeed the big resistance has not been reached,
the resistance is at $30k, if Bitcoin is able to break it and stay above $30k, then I can say bearish is over
To me I believe that the bear season might be over but you never can tell, the whole market has started looking bullish once again, there is an indicator that always indicates the bottom of bitcoin, the indicator had crossed and it seems like $17k is the bottom for now, hopefully the whales will not manipulate the market to favour them by dumping it beyond 17k that will create a huge fear in the market. I think we had dumped enough to recover back to the top, from $60k+ up to $17k is pretty huge to recover from here
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH could take over. on: August 09, 2022, 04:31:44 PM
Am I the only one seeing that ETH is decoupling from BTC? If this happens and Ethereum becomes a better target for institutional then it is finished, many altcoins depends on Ethereum but the whole market depends on BTC, what do you think will happen
Ethereum will always follow bitcoin at the back, bitcoin is the king of the cryptocurrency space, no coin can take over bitcoin. Ethereum cannot decouple from bitcoin, no matter how great it become in future, all cryptocurrency will continue to do whatever bitcoin wants them to do, bitcoin dictates when the bull and bear season will be, no other altcoins can
64  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 08, 2022, 08:13:20 PM
Timo Werner is on the brink of signing for Leipzig indeed. He must be really about the recent news about that because Leipzig were a team that he was the most productive at in the past. It might be time for him to start playing like that again there. This transfer would add a significant amount of power to Leipzig at the same time. Their chance of fighting for the upper positions would increase by this move. I know that they already have quite many strikers but Werner is just different for them.
Lots of Chelsea fans have all been insulting Timo Werner, now he is leaving they are all sad. The guy is much loved at Chelsea for his cool headedness and professionalism. I think that the pressure is much on him to deliver and he did his best just that the fans are not patience enough. He ought to be through with his medical, I believe he will feel more relaxed in Leipzig than Chelsea because he's at home
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Millions are still been raised in this bear market on: August 08, 2022, 04:36:46 PM
Well, not all nft are really making it during this bear market as compared to the bull market, lots of nft tend to be rugging most especially Solana NFT but still yet we still have some nft that are doing good, either nft or trading, bear season always produce millionaires, imagine that you had positioned your self in a good short on bitcoin when it was trading around $40k and you used a leverage of just x10, to avoid being greedy, then a huge fund was used in trading it that's a decent good profit, or an altcoins like xrp and you shorted it when it was at $0.8 currently $0.3 with a good leverage and good fund that's an amazing profit
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Will Not Devalue To Zero on: August 08, 2022, 11:53:44 AM
While i fully support Bitcoin that will never go down to zero ? yet I'm not sure about Ethereum because it has been many years since this existence yet ETH manage to  come forward though not that close to Bitcoin value at all.

Among the crypto market's most popular coins, bitcoin and ethereum are the two that I consider the safest. I have never thought either of them would die even though the market is unpredictable, everything can happen.

All altcoins today are based on ethereum created although one of them is improved and outperforms ETH, but if ETH doesn't exist they can't be on the market either. Value of ETH will continue to depend on bitcoin and could still fall more but zero is unlikely.
actually No one knows mate , either Ethereum or other altcoins? they may stay or die who knows? one thing is sure that Bitcoin will remain .
bitcoin and Ethereum are the basic of cryptocurrency coins and I don't see them going to zero as much as I believe that bitcoin will not plummet to zero I also does with ethereum also. Those two coins have been there since inception and they are the most safest coin that I can advise anyone to invest in in my opinion, most of the altcoins that are now having their own blockchain started from ethereum before they migrate to their own personal blockchain, ethereum is really a strong project it can't go to zero
67  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 07, 2022, 05:48:39 PM
Wonderdul through pass from Kevin Debrune. Perfect finish by HAALAND, I see him doing very well for City. The same West ham being trashed here at home by Manchester City will trash the other Manchester in and out with their disunited team made up of Maguire, Shaw, Fred, Mctominay, Rashford and even Martial that was only good for the bench at Sevilla while on loan. Quite funny that When teams are buying strikers, Chelsea are busy loading their team with defenders and midfielders. Haaland might be the highest goal scorer in epl this season.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin investments have become risky this day. on: August 07, 2022, 03:23:47 PM
Cryptocurrency generally itself is risky that's why the slogan of always invest what you can afford to lose is always been told before investing, altcoins on reputable exchange are less risky because their chances of rugging is low unlike altcoins on dex, which has high chances of getting rugged, the only way altcoins on reputable exchanges are much risky is when you intend to leverage them probably with high leverage, you might loose it all if you don't get the right set up before entering the trade
69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 07, 2022, 03:13:27 PM
Man Utd is in great need of a very good defensive midfielder that has a good defensive mind, at least one. For years, Man Utd hasn't had such, instead they kept leaving this role to Pogba who isn't a CDM and doesn't thrive as one and sub par players like Fred and McTominay. I don't see any reason why Eriksen will be playing upfront he's a midfielder for goodness sake, he's playing out of position today, also if maguire is not bench, Man Utd will have a long way to go this season, dude has not been on a fine run, always commiting, he ought to have gotten red card today he was just lucky
70  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC Ever Reach $100k? on: August 07, 2022, 01:45:11 PM
I have never been pessimistic about the price of bitcoin, if there is a prediction that maybe now we say impossible but it has often happened, when the 2018 price was below $5k from the 2017 ATH position of $19k many were pessimistic but many were optimistic that the price would skyrocketed again, and I don't think $100k is a hard thing to achieve.
Bitcoin hitting $100k ain't that hard to happen but it's gonna take a long time for it to reach the price, this month Mt Gox is releasing close to 150k bitcoin to his customers, almost seven years since the customers have been waiting to get it, that will sure make bitcoin dump huge if eventually they all decided to sell, but I believe that few percentage of people will be willing to hold, but a lot of the customers will sell because they are already in huge profits, if bitcoin gets to $8k it will be kind of hard to pump immediately hopefully $17k will be the bottom
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest mistake in crypto? on: August 06, 2022, 09:00:03 PM
Everyone have their own mistake, but my biggest mistake is i was ignorant when bitcoin hit the bottom back then in 2018.
Now that seems like bitcoin is repeating the cycle, i should not ignore this and buy some bitcoin and other altcoins.
Do you really think that it's ignorant, I feel maybe you are kind of scared of losing that's why, a lot of people too are in such situations when bitcoin and other altcoins hit the bottom they failed to buy,. Well one of my biggest mistakes was not taking profit as at when due when I was trading degen back then in the last bull season. Hopefully when degen period arrives I hope I will not be able to make such mistakes again

Sterling is a good buy for Chelsea ,and City will miss him....Gabriel jesus as well...I still have this feeling that pep messed up in letting them leave for cheap these are 75m players cuz Brighton sold a left back for 60m....pep doesn't know how to keep good players.when he sold sane I felt so so bad..but he was still able to manage the team..let's see wat halland and Alvarez has in stock for us..I just they fear after watching the community shield..i hope heget the epl again after letting 4 vital players leave at a cheap price..how can city sell zichenko for 30m and now they couldn't find any left back for 30m as replacement.
73  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You don't need to hodl a particular coin all your life on: August 06, 2022, 12:49:11 PM
Well, I think I won't go with what op said, it depends on the type of coin that you are holding, imagine buying bitcoin when it was trading at 50 cents, if u have a huge quantity its a coin that you will be selling little by little and worth holding for life, bnb was once trading at 30 cent, if you had invested $1k in it then that's a huge amount of money, it's also a coin worth holding for life, you just need to do research and join the next big train not all coin are worth holding for life but there are some special gems that are worth holding for life
74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 06, 2022, 12:39:56 PM
Fulham are doing what I've always thought every team needs to do against City and Liverpool.

Go long and beat their press. I was so dissapointed in Tuchel in Chelsea first league game against City last season, we even had 2 v 3 of Lukaku and Werner situations on the half way line but Chelsea continued to play from the back time and again even when it was obvious we couldn't match their press.

Let your bigman become a nuisance to their CB from the half way to their 3rd and hoof it high from the back and watch how many times City defence would surprisingly become open.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 05, 2022, 10:12:12 PM
Haters will not leave arsenal alone...They started the season well and were ruthless in preseason destroying teams with reckless abadon including chelsea.
They have recruiting the best players and with a strong bench now.. Defensively they were strong as a unit...Kudo to Saliba, White and others. Was very impressed with Saliba however, very composed and looking like a great if he keeps it up. Good result for the gunners.... but sadly still seeing some age old challenges..... mental fragility at the core of the team.
76  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 05, 2022, 06:55:43 PM
It is a simple match for the opening of the Premier League, but based on all leagues, this will be the most important match of the night. Arsenal made quality player transfers this year. They will want to prove how assertive they are in the league by winning the Crystal Palace match. I see Arsenal as the favorites of the match and I want to watch a match where Arsenal go back to their former glory.
Arsenal looks promising this season. Hopefully they will not disappoint. Both teams to score or over 2.5 ought to be a good bet for this match. Arsenal did well in the preseason, a promising performance that gave the fans a reason to think they have arrived. Let's hope everything goes as planned for Arteta. To be honest, i want them to win tonight so they will continue the hyping and hopefully that hyping will not lead to their destruction. Because the hype is huge currently
77  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 05, 2022, 02:30:47 PM
In the first game of the Premiership, Crystal Palace-Arsenal, the favorite are the visitors. Of course, the first match is always an unknown, but if Arsenal keep their form from the friendly matches, they should easily get 3 points. A few days ago, Arsenal beat Sevilla 6-0.
Can't wait for the Crystal Palace and Arsenal match to start today, as an Arsenal fan of course I hope quite a lot if Arsenal can win their inaugural match today, this year pre-season went quite well with positive results but we can't underestimate the team being coached by our legend (Viera), cause Crystal Palace is a pretty strong team and I hope today we can achieve our first win even though it looks like it will be a bit difficult.
The match between Arsenal and Crystal Palace looks like it will be quite exciting considering that these two teams both want to get 3 points in their initial match. I think arsenal will score a lot of goals in the early game because G. jesus is a striker who has long experience in the premier league so he knows what he will do in the match against crystal palace. we will wait for the leak of the line-up that will be revealed in this match. hope Arteta can bring arsenal at the beginning of this match with the acquisition of 3 points.
All eyes on Arsenal and Gabriel Jesus specifically to deliver for Arsenal, a win against crystal Palace will boost their morale, but crystal Palace ain't a small club they have been known to always trouble Arsenal almost every season, with the current form of Arsenal in the pre season if eventually they can bring it to the Premier league league I see them winning few of their early matches in epl and that will give them a hedge in qualifying for next season uefa champions league, all eyes on Arteta also if he didn't deliver this season I think it's best he resign because I believe that he got almost all what he wanted
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 02, 2022, 04:00:42 PM
Serie A last season was also a fairly hot competition. now Serie A fans I think it's more like the Premier League. That's because it's not just the dominance of a handful of strong teams fighting for the title.
the club must have second-tier players who have the same qualities as their main squad. at least every position should have a proper replacement.
Not to mention, this season it looks like the players will also be bothered with the Qatar world cup agenda. It looks like the league schedule in Europe will clash with FIFA's agenda.

Serie A teams are not as strong as Premier League teams. There are few star players on the team. But the quality of the teams is almost equal. AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus, Napoli, Lazio, and Roma are all performing well. AC Milan, Inter Milan, and Napoli battled for the title last season. However, Juventus and Roma have strengthened themselves for next season. And so I think the next season will be more competitive than the last season.
Apart from Manchester City and Liverpool I don't think that there is any other epl teams that can stand head to head with the top Seria A clubs, Seria A clubs are also a strong team, what they just need is the zeal and morale to excel in European tournaments, Juventus had lots of stars when Cristiano Ronaldo was with them few seasons ago, still they got knocked out by Ajax who barely have a star player, team work is really important and continuity in winning, I guess that's what help Ac Milan back then when they were triumphant consistently in the European league
79  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading really worth it? on: August 01, 2022, 08:59:52 PM
Trading can give you profit but sometimes it may cause loss because in every field there is always some kind of losses with success. There is no such a field in which you will continuously win. But remember that trading requires expertise and knowledge that will make you successful in future because if you have no knowledge about something the you will definitely loss your profit so think and know before selecting something.
one of the reasons why people do as the question that OP had asked is due to the fact that they either don't do research before trading and they don't learn the basics etiquette, if there is no knowledge before trading its simply gambling. There ought to be a plan, either weekly or monthly goals, it's not that possible to always win a trade every day, sometimes its better not to trade either a day or two, trading really worth it in as much as you do your research thoroughly and invest what you can afford to lose don't let emotions get over you
80  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are we going to recover or continue to dump? on: August 01, 2022, 05:59:31 PM
What are your current opinions on the cryptocurrency market?
I think that the market will continue to dump until we hit probably $10k+ per bitcoin, because that is the rate at which miners are using to mine bitcoin currently, and miner capitulation might occur, couple with lots of negative news surrounding the globe as regarding China and USA crisis, let's not forget that the Ukraine Russia crisis also had a great impact in the dump that occurred to bitcoin few weeks ago, I won't be surprised if USA make a move to resist China and another global outrage occurs this will definitely have a negative effect on the market, just my opinion though
