Could you please make a build that shows the temperature ..power..fan speed..and kh/w in the cmd window?  Thx  Smiley
Build of what? xmr-stak?
Not sure, but it might be included in HTML report. Have you tried it?

SETHER is a great project. I took part in the bounty and keep their tokens until today. I hope I can earn well by selling their coins when the market changes direction.

From $2 to $0.02 and $15 in a 24-hour volume, what happened to Sether.
any news here?
Sether is only on IDEX... it need better exchange.
Why is Sether no longer on HitBTC anyway?
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASUS RX470 Mining Edition Overclock on: April 23, 2019, 05:54:40 AM
Yes the most you can get with an Rx 470 4GB with Hynix memory is generally around 27MH/s.

I have been succesful in getting a few cards to run at 28.5 MH/s or so but most of them only run stable at 27MH/s or they require a higher voltage.

The issue with a higher memory clock like 2000MHz on the 4GB is that usually after a few hours or days, you will get massive amounts of hardware errors, and will require a restart. Usually the restart fixes the issue however you lose mining time during the restart. Hence you are better off just running them at a slower but more stable speed.
I suppose you have Hynix type H5GC4H24AJ, right? That should run 30+MH/s easy on good cards, but you probably use the timing from NerdRalph which is free and is also used in my tutorial. You need better timing. I've developed better one, but it was tested on RX 480 with few testers and doing around 31 MH/s, didn't cross the 32MH/s border as I wanted but good enough. PM me, I will mod your bios for free and let's see if it helps to you.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASUS RX470 Mining Edition Overclock on: April 21, 2019, 08:41:45 AM
Hi, I have been mining with an 8 card MSI rx470 4gb mining edition for a year now and been getting the same hash rate with no problems until I got an error "opencl error -38 - cannot write buffer for dag" last night.

I am using blockchain driver and did not have any problems with it getting 30mhs per card. When I rebooted my system thinking it would fix the error, my hash rates significantly dropped to 8MHS per card.

I tried uninstalling Blockchain driver and Installed 19.4.2 driver instead, and now getting 14MHS.

How do I get my Hash rates back to 30mHs? Have you been into this situation? Is there anything else I missed installing or do I need to bios mod my cards?

BTW, I did not build the rig my self since I bought it as a Set from the seller so I have no idea what settings he did to get 30MHS. All I know is that its been running at 30mhs since I got this rig.

Please, I hope you can help!
Yep, you need ATI Pixel Clock Patcher https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-AMD-ATI-Pixel-Clock-Patcher

Blockchain drivers are too old for the latest Windows builds, install the latest drivers and switch cards to compute workload, how to do it is in the FAQ link.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Different Hash rates on two RX 580 from different manufacturers on: April 20, 2019, 07:19:25 AM
If you want Asus buy Strix.

When they were first released I bought 5x ASUS ROG Strix 570s.  Of the 10 fans only one is still spinning.  Could be a fluke in the production run as they have sequential serial numbers but if I had to bet it would certainly be on cheap fans not designed for continuous operation.
I still have few RX 470 Strix and the fans are working and still quiet as before. But you are not the only one, some of the Strix fans dies very early, but mostly RMA fix this from what I know, but I never had a problem with Strix. You can also buy cheap fake fans for Strix on Ebay, not as good, but worth the money, some of them even have Strix logo Grin so it might actually be from the same factory Grin

Edit:
I just looked at Ebay and all those cheap are gone...  Grin
Strix fans from Aliexpress then, 17 USD for both, still not bad price.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Different Hash rates on two RX 580 from different manufacturers on: April 19, 2019, 02:24:15 PM
Asus Dual are probably the worst out there... cooling is so bad and they pretty much use the lowest quality memory chips. If you want Asus buy Strix. Nitros have great cooling but there is big difference in quality since they use a lot different memory chips, but MSI does it to.
There is no need to OC above 2000 MHz with bios mod, it depends on the timings, you can have 2 different timings and OC one to 2000MHz and second one 2200MHz and the hashrate will be the same. But most of the free available timings need to be OCed to 2000+MHz to get 30+ from them though, except some Elpidas, Microns even to 2300MHz.

So after the fork most of you need new configs for the miners and it is hard to tell which will work out of the box... Since there are configs for CN, CNv2,... Also my Monero mining thread is bit outdated and full of not really recent info so I'm gonna start this whole new thread for the latest CNv4 algo which currently using Monero and few other, and more will follow probably.

Post your configs in this thread or submit here on Mining-bios.eu

Also post here https://monerobenchmarks.info/

Here you can find configs for CNv2 (Monero v8) and some updated for CN R.

P.S. the one OhGodAGirl who was talking shit about me 2 years ago in my thread is now confirmed with cloud mining scam and also exit scam Mineority FPGA...
Pro version has better timmings vs free edition ?! Can you explain me that ? I tested both i and i didnt see any difference  Huh
What memory type? Send me an e-mail or start new ticket https://mining-bios.eu/my-tickets/new-ticket/ It shouldn't have same performance only as last option if better timings arent't compatible.

But moreless they still can be used even on CNv4...
I've deleted old benchmarks for CNv2 and other not used algos so you can put your new results with CNv4, CN-GPU and others.
