do it make a difference have cards from different manufactures, im getting some used 1060s from friends by nivida and im buying some asus 1060s bcoz they are cheaper will that be a issue? problems with driver etc?
Not really, more important are memory vendors. For Nvidia is best Samsung, but it only counts for some algos... |

About the memory straps, if you found a good strap for say ethhash, will this also usually be the best strap to mine for example cryptonight with it?
Not really, but they might be very good on both. However for the best performance you need timings optimized for XMR or ETH. |

Bought Sapphire Pulse RX560 with 2 fans and additional 6pin power connector. Unfortunately 14CU and 6000mhz Hynix H5GC8H24MJ memory. getting 13.8-14mh, with robinhood modded AMD drivers and modded bios 1500 straps to up. OC with 2000mhz memory and 1100mhz gpu. AMD latest official drivers and blockchain drivers (aug.23) performed worse. Getting few memory errors, but no rejected shares and running good about 10hours. How can i get to try to push it further? No Overclock options over 2000mhz for memory in AMD Wattman or MSI afterburner. What else to change in BIOS editor after straps to help it to perform better? Will unlock to 16CU will help to push another 1-2MH out of it? I see now that ETN is listed on TradeOgre exchange  I hope they did not apply for that. We want more exchanges yes, but we want big one's like Bittrex and Binance. Hell I would rather even see them on KuCoin. As for the $500, lol. I would be extremely happy if it went to $5 which would be huge, but at least somewhat achievable. if we wait a few days, the price is only $ 0.05. I can't improve on the Asus RX550 stock BIOS, comes ready to mine out of the box. I got punked on this.
RX 550s aren't very good for bios modding... but some of them are very good for XMR. What means very good? Aprox. mining speed? I don't have them, but someone told me that should be possible got them to 400-450H/s with very low power consumption, don't know which memory type. I can provide some timings for testing, I'm curious too. |

The blockchain drivers didnt work on my 7950´s, and on the andrenalin drivers only 30 hash, on 15.12 drivers i got 280h/s
What timings are you using to get 280 H/s? I don't think drivers matter all that much for cryptonight, it's essential to get ones with "dag fix" for Ethereum mining, but not that important for anything else. With compute workload you can set higher intensity and you will get slightly higher hashrate. But all my AMD still run on 17.6.2 drivers |

Když tu chcete rozjíždět pořádnou českou komunitu, tak jsou potřeba tipy na investování Můj tip je letos určitě XMR a LTC z těch zaběhnutých (BTC je samozřejmé ). Do LTC doporučuji investovat co nejdříve, Charlie Lee už zveřejnil na Githubu změny pro nové jádro, už začali s Lightning network :3 V dalším updatu bychom se mohli dočkat poplatků za transakci menším než 1 dolar i s cenou LTC 1000 dolarů (jestli počítám dobře ). Doufám, že Lightning network čeká letos i BTC  Bulletproofs pro XMR by tu taky mělo být cca do roka snad a doufejme i Kovri. Dost silně pochybuji, že bychom získali více než tento přišpendlený thread vzhledem k aktivitě. Naše republika ještě nemá, co se kryptoměny týče, moc co nabídnout.. Třeba časem.. No ve skutečnosti jsme v top zemích co těží BTC Ale aktivita je dost mizerná no. To byl taky jeden z důvodů, proč jsem začal psát aspoň nějaké návody, je tu hrozná propast mezi těmi co tomu vážně rozumí a těmi co prostě jen těží. Myslím, že každý kdo chce začít těžit si zaslouží aspoň takové menší nakopnutí a usnadnění toho co vlastně potřebuje, no zbytek už je na každém... Jak říkáš, jedna věc je těžit a druhá se v kryptu vyznat... Já jsem někde uprostřed cesty.. Kde najdu nějaký ty tvoje návody?  Mám jich plný podpis... |

Nesnášim adminy co si tohle daj na web (jakmile to někde zjistim tak u mně web skončil). Kdyby aspoň měli kuráž to přiznat a zeptat se na souhlas uživatele ( zatim sem na takový stránky nenarazil ... vždycky je to potají ... verbež). Používám AVG který ten jsminer podchytne a odpojí (taky už sem si zvyk monitorovat vytížení procesoru a když se mi nezdá tak ze stránek odcházim). Můj názor: jestli si admin nemůže dovolit provoz (zaplatit za doménu, hosting atd.) tak ať to vůbec nedělá. Je to jen otázka času než to začnou prohlížeče blokovat, Opera to bude mít myslím první. Používám to na stránce s časováníma pro bios zdarma, ale mám to tam teda uvedené, využívá to jen 50% myslím, stejně to hovno těží |
