61  Economy / Economics / Re: The significance of bitcoin decentralization on: March 19, 2018, 04:20:41 PM
OP describes the situation that should be after the project bitcoin will be fully implemented. But now the situation is quite different. We are unable to use bitcoin as a currency. Periodically,we have to change the coins to Fiat. And that makes us Bank-dependent. We are obliged to provide documents to the exchange and have a Bank account. Bitcoin is also dependent on t Fiat.
62  Economy / Economics / Re: Money laundering tools on: March 19, 2018, 04:15:41 PM
That's not true. Try to change bitcoin to Fiat. Maybe you know a secret way to change cryptocurrencies bypassing exchanges? All exchanges require documents and money will be very difficult to wash. The cost of exchanging via black exchangers is higher than you will pay a legal income tax. You can launder money through investments in legitimate business.

64  Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN PRICE IN 2050 - ACCORDING TO VITALIK BUTERIN! on: March 12, 2018, 02:20:15 PM
I don't believe in long-term forecasts. How can Vitalik know what will happen until 2050? If for any reason it will crash the US economy? Or will China try to attract investments through bitcoin?. This can have a very significant impact on the price of bitcoin. I don't care what happens. The main thing that the bitcoin live.
65  Economy / Economics / Re: FINANCIAL TIPS on: March 11, 2018, 10:36:21 AM
One financial tip I can share: the real statistic for inflation could be above 10%. The official metric for inflation is identical to the unemployment numbers in that they were redefined decades ago to make the status quo economic situation appear better than it actually is. Real unemployment(U-6) is not the commonly cited statistic in the media which is (U-3). The 3% figure cited by the media for inflation also does not represent our real inflation rate.

Strategies involving saving are virtually impossible to maintain due to the inflation and average cost of living expenses increasing at far greater rates than wages or the value of most currencies. If it is true that real inflation is near to 10% this could imply that any sum of money saved can lose 10% or more of its value per year. This complicates matters. But I believe this to represent a cornerstone of a valid starting point for any type of financial planning.
Governments always hide the true percentage of inflation. It makes no sense to Deposit savings in banks. It turns out that due to our savings, a large business is financed. Then millionaires get their income from these businesses and we get back the impaired money. This is the main Scam of bankers and government. That's why I chose bitcoin for myself. When all people understand this bitcoin will get more popular.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: teach your children about bitcoin on: March 11, 2018, 10:23:14 AM
hello guys , i just want to share what am i doing right now to my children, i have a 10 year old kid , he is david . this coming summer i want to teach him about cryptocurrency. especially bitcoin, from his young age i want to share him my knowledge about this kind of things. im happy that he is excited a little bit however it's so hard to explain but then i use some examples like video games as a reference about bitcoin. probably it might be the easiet way to understand how this things works. for example bitcoin is like a video games, you need to do a lot of research about bitcoin to know it and ask some people what  they know about bitcoin or  like experiences  , like games you need to do a lot of practice to mastered the games , can someone help me about this ?
Lol. What can you teach him? Do you know much about bitcoins? Very few people are well versed in the technical aspect of cryptocurrency. I doubt that this topic will be of interest to a 10 year old child. Practical knowledge is limited to how to create a wallet and how to send a transaction. Can you teach him to write on the forum? Now children are developing rapidly. In 5-6 years he will teach you.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: any feedback on the binance exchange?and their customers service? on: March 10, 2018, 06:47:36 PM
I don't know why this market is so popular. There are many other exchanges that have not yet compromised themselves. I heard that have broken into not exchange Binance. I heard that hacked some accounts that used third-party software. It's probably true. But every person must decide on their requirements and only then choose a stock exchange. Different exchanges have different properties.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Altcoins on: March 10, 2018, 06:35:25 PM
Ethereum would be my first choice. Guess I don't need to explain why its my first choice. Other alts for me would be: PXC, UBQ, FTC... this are just some I mined. Also, this is only my opinion and I made mistakes in the past  Grin . Would like to hear what other people think.
Ethereum is a good coin but the price of it has already stabilized and for this reason I do not think that the mining of this coin will bring good profit. Probably now it is more profitable to get new coins. You can change the coin every week. But someday the price of these coins will increase by 10 or 100 times. At this point you need to sell and your profit will be much more than the profit from ETH mining.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl or do I realize the loss? on: March 09, 2018, 12:32:21 PM
Hello to all,

I invested in Crypterium ICO a lot of money, from business plan I was going to keep CRPT Token until Q3 2018. We are still in Q1 is true, but mathematically, according to my calculations, CRPT token can not reach the result I was hoping for. I made about 90% loss from the amount invested. What do I do? Do I continue to Hodl or do I realize this huge loss? To get back on track I need at least 2/3 full points and I do not think the token can do it.

Did you invest in CRPT? Do you think you can do it?
All decisions are in your hands. But if you can advise, for a case like you better hold your coins until the price returns to normal. Right now the losses you get are certain, but before the coin is sold the loss is not really real. Good luck on your side😊
The strategy must be different. If the owner of these coins is a trader then you need to sell coins at the very beginning of the price drop. This will help reduce losses and buy more coins on the bottom. But if this user's strategy is retention then you need to keep the coins to the end. Any prospective coin will grow. If the coin is not promising that she can't be saved. The decision must be made by the user.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Legitimate ICO on: March 09, 2018, 12:25:35 PM
For good ICO you can look through Bitcointalk member signature and choose one you refer. About my coin this coin have big potential because its gambling coin. Buyer wont care about their price . This coin for bet in Gambling house and price will growth over and over
Scammers look for victims everywhere, this forum is not an exception. I see you wish to help, but signature or bounty campaign are the same, even managers can't guarantee that ico is legitimate. Even that word is making confusion, legit by what or whom? We need to be aware that some businesses fail, simply they didn't have customers. Legitimation doesn't mean much if business fail in some other aspects.
He can check our signatures, he need to do his own research. Each of us is responsible, I check signatures of other people and my final decision is made just by me! I don't blame others for my mistakes, my risk my profit or loss, that works for each of us.
You can check out the thoughts of the founder of the ICO? Are you going to check it on a lie detector? How can you determine the cause of the collapse of the ICO? Were these fraudulent activities or was the project ruined for reasons beyond the control of the founder? The actions of scammers in the ICO market create problems not only for investors but also for honest founders of ICO.
71  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Watch | BTC/USD Fails To Hold $11,000 on: March 09, 2018, 12:16:31 PM
There is most definitely powers at work here, that is manipulating the price to hover just above and just below $10 000/bitcoin. I have previously hinted at Bitcoin futures having a hand in this, but I have no concrete evidence to back that up. I am currently trying to gather some evidence to prove my point, but it is not very easy to do this.

Prepare yourself for a less volatile Bitcoin price, whilst these Bitcoin Futures are in affect. ^mark my words^
You guys have not seen anything yet. So far, I have seen the biggest manipulation I can ever imagine in the history of bitcoin and who else do you think ? You have said it and I have always suspected this coming since we started having the futures and when this guy was saying something like 'do not worry, I will not drive the market to zero' which means they admit they are manipulators and they are big. Well, there is nothing we can do, is there ?
My opinion is that futures will ruin the lives of traders. The whales will unite and dictate their terms to the prices of the coins. The main reserves are concentrated in them. If bitcoin users keep their coins they will be able to resist the whales. But I don't believe it. During each of the fall we see the panic. Therefore, volatility will only increase.
72  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the reason behind the current crash? on: March 09, 2018, 12:10:45 PM
It seems to me that hacking Binance could not be the cause of the collapse of prices. I associate it more with large sales volumes. Previously, when bitcoin prices were below there was no point in selling coins for tax purposes. Now the price of coins is high and people are more likely to sell them to pay taxes. That means they don't have Fiat reserves. They all invested in cryptocurrency. In may, the price will be about $ 20,000.
73  Economy / Speculation / Re: Story about an anonymous trader buying $400m Bitcoin is wrong on: March 09, 2018, 12:00:57 PM
Why would you know the reason? You'll never know the real reason. Do you think Kobayashi is the only one? Now a lot of rich people sell their coins in order to pay tax obligations for the past year. That's a lot of money. It is possible that now it will be a tradition. The beginning of the year will always show a drop in the cryptocurrency market.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Circle buys Poloniex, Bittrex adds TUSD, Coinbase creates crypto index fund on: March 08, 2018, 01:15:02 PM
Yes, 2018 seems to be the year where big money and more regulation will be coming.
As you said it would be best for those waiting for a dip to just get in now before things take off.
Prices will not fall. The rich invest money to earn. They will provoke volatility in order to earn. But the price is going to go back to their positions and to go in growth. You have to understand this and keep your coins. Each of us has income from a permanent job. Use Fiat in those moments when the price falls. This will help you save your crypto capital.
75  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dropped by $2k on: March 08, 2018, 01:09:28 PM
We have seen larger falls in the past. $ 2,000 is fine. Bitcoin can overcome them in a few hours. I am sure that this decline is due to the desire to buy the whales coins for beginners. They are not accustomed to volatility and often sell their coins. But they have few coins so they can not affect the price of bitcoin. Very soon, the price of bitcoin will rise to $ 12,000.
76  Economy / Economics / Re: Private Coins from banks and governments on: March 08, 2018, 01:04:28 PM
I think after the bank may develop their own digital encryption currency, on the support of digital currency bank is easy to get people to believe that the bank of the ico can raise some money for research and development of block chain!

The bank's digital cryptographic currency is a medium for promoting economic growth.
That's possible. But I am sure that banks can attract only those people who do not believe in the future of cryptocurrencies. Those who know the benefits of crypto-currencies will never be money in the Bank. I don't see prospects for Bank cryptocurrencies. They will be no different from traditional non-cash money.
77  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC predection in 2018 on: March 08, 2018, 12:58:09 PM
This is the most humblest prediction for bitcoin that I ever seen or I think you are just taking a safe prediction that bitcoin might take in this year, Well it can be possible or it can be non sense, But still I think it is an OK prediction and right now bitcoin is back down to $10,000 mark, There is a resistance right now but as we have know about bitcoin a bull run may be possible.
I don't agree with you. This forecast is not modest. This forecast is realistic. But it does not take into account the tendency to unite whales. I often hear the news that they bring together capital and want to have an impact on the cryptocurrency market. This can make the market less predictable and increase market volatility.
78  Economy / Speculation / Re: can bitcoin price move up to 17k again in 2018 on: March 08, 2018, 12:51:08 PM
hey guys tell me is there any prediction that bitcoin price can move upto 17k again in 2018
I think it will reach 17k USD in May or June but surely it reach more than 25k USD at the end of this year. The current market is still fluctuating because some hackers are stole the Binance site but again it will pump so you should wait for one month because Russia is implementing the legalization of Bitcoin so it will going to peak.
There will be no legalization of bitcoin in Russia. It is a fake. Give me an example of any country where the authoritarian regime legalized bitcoin. This is not and never will be. Such regimes are based on oppression of people. Bitcoin gives people freedom. You have to fight for it. Do you know an example of people coming to the demonstration demanding the legalization of bitcoin?
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I would rather have paper money then Bitcoin on: March 07, 2018, 10:17:51 AM
Not many people today know about bitcoin. Especially the older generation. For them it is something distant and incomprehensible. Not everyone has the opportunity to mine bitcoins. For them, paper money is still a priority. Why, for example, the US does not use the yen or the Euro along with the dollar. That makes no sense. That would weaken the country's economy. Cryptocurrency is not able to completely replace paper money. In contrast, it does not have a valid value. Paper money is protected by banks from depreciation.
I disagree with you. Paper money has long to be eliminated. But they are beneficial for corrupt officials and for this reason remain in use. Many opponents of bitcoin talk about its anonymity and the possibility of being used for criminal purposes. But they do not say that you need to start fighting with cash. Bitcoin cannot replace national currencies, but it can and should be used as an asset for savings. It's easier than keeping money in banks.
80  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Germany Approves Cryptocurrency As Legal Means Of Payment on: March 07, 2018, 10:08:58 AM
I can add that the concrete decision of the European Court of Human Rights is a source of law and is binding for all states that signed the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms of 1950. This is 41 states in Europe and in general in the world. These states will be obliged to amend their laws to ensure that their laws comply with a specific decision of the European Court of Human Rights. Thus, this judgment is crucial for the crypto currency, since these countries will be obliged not only to recognize the crypto currency as a legitimate means of payment, but also to free from taxation operations on converting crypto currency to fiat and vice versa.
You probably don't know the law. Court of human rights is based in Strasbourg and has no relationship to the cryptocurrency. I agree that any decision aimed at simplifying the rules of cryptocurrency use is a relief for us. But this will be followed by an attempt to regulate this market. This could be a problem.
