Newcastle vs Man Utd and Man City vs Tottenham are probably two of the stand out games in the PL. I think Newcastle and Man City will both win, might put a double on.
Elsewhere my boys Liverpool take on Fulham at Anfield, I expect a comfortable win for Jurgens Reds.
I think that both of Manchester teams will win at the weekend. Even though things aren't going on its way in the Champions League for Manchester United it is really a big success for them to stay 1 point ahead of Newcastle. I don't anticipate the need for major new restrictions in the next couple of years, but it could indeed happen. Maybe Bitcoin will be banned in the US someday, and then I'll have to either shut down bitcointalk.org or find a way of moving it to some remaining territory of freedom in the world. That's the problem with centralized forums. I wish that more work was being done on creating decentralized, uncensorable, but also usable forums. I would love nothing more than to be able to shut down bitcointalk.org due to some decentralized solution making it obsolete. Find me a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working on this, and I'll donate to it. I was expecting Galatasaray not to lose against Manchester United. However I wasn't expecting more than 3 goals in the Real Madrid-Napoli match. Unfortunately Real Madrid managed to win the match by 4-2. Thus we have a tie with jayce at 2-2 after the end of the first 4 questions. As we have 4 different answers in the remaining 6 questions both of us still have a big chance to win this round.
Meh looks like it's 4-2 already referring to the question 10, where Vini and Giroud cant manage to play this weekend. Apparently hiring Cantona isn't a right decision after all  Mr Cantona said in the statement he made before the match that it was going to be very difficult to play against the last champion. I think that this statement shaked his team psychologically. In the snooker match being played now you will have a serious chance for a draw if Junhui Ding manages to win against Williams Mark. However in case Williams wins I will also get 3 points. |

This was my main observation for MD5 - the round with the fewest points gained and the most zero hauls. That said, we had a great deal of draws in MD5, so many who went for favourites or underdogs all lost out. Which hurts more? To pick Copenhagen and get nothing all the game or to pick Leipzig and see yourself go 2-0 up and even a disallowed goal from a former Red at 2-2?
You can be sure of something that it was a much sadder week for the people who bet on Leipzig to win. After I dreamt of climbing to the upper positions in the leaderboard in less than no time it was really a big disappointment for me to get 0 points.  Even though Leipzig got 2-0 ahead I'm really very sorry for their not being able to win the match. Leipzig's wininng the match was going to be great for my placement in Pool B. However arallmuus jinxed me. On next weeks I will continue to look for surprises with all the stakes in my hand again. Because I don't have any other chance left to get a prize from now on.
Sorry mate, I guess my whole life is infused with some sort of dark magic. Im not kidding, sometimes Im even having series of misfortune on daily life. Well this is on a small scale of course but it still sucks to have all those misfortune. I honestly thought that you are going to win that one for sure, It was 2-0 though which was amazing for Leipzig but somehow they sucks on 2nd half I was just unlucky. It wouldn't be illegal to continue allowing mixers here. That's why we're able to offer a 1-month grace period. But allowing them has become too risky/problematic, and it's only going to get worse. Imagine 5% of all active forum users being sanctioned due to being paid directly by mixers, or all participants in a big signature campaign being targets of a search warrant, or our service providers suddenly banning us due to being "associated" with mixers, etc. I think that the crypto community is near the start of a multi-year squeezing campaign against mixers; similar to the cannabis industry in the US, or Operation Choke Point, or what happened with Backpage, or the deplatforming of Parler.

Today Turkish teams got terrible results in the Conference League. It wasn't a surprise for me that Beşiktaş lost by 5-0 as they have been showing an inconsistent performance since the beginning of the season. However I have been thinking that Fenerbahçe have a potential to win the Conference League but it was really terrible for us to lose against Nordsjaelland by 6-1.

It was a barely won match for Villarreal despite getting 3-0 ahead. Together with this win I have got ahead of my opponent because I was better than him on the 5th question. I need Williams M. to win against Ding J in the snooker match tomorrow. If Williams wins I will have guaranteed the draw for this week.

I managed to collect 58 points this week with Hwang Hee-chan's scoring a goal tonight. Even though 58 points isn't very high I assume that I still managed to become the person who collected the most points in our league this week.Still I think that I'm quite unlucky this week. I chose Son as the captain but all of his 3 goals in the Aston Villa match were disallowed due to offside. It was painful for me to watch.
By the way I would like to correct a mistake here.  I thought that I was the one who collected the most points for the week. However I have realized that boltz was more successful than me about this topic. I would like to congratulate him for being the winner of this week. I will double check that tonight and proclaim the winner officially. No hurry since we have to wait until Monday for free bet to be paid anyway. Forgot about this didn't I? No matter it will be paid on next Monday either way. So to make it official GW13 winner is boltz with 66 points. Congratulations, Onana and Joao Pedro were instrumental for this result. Had no idea Onana managed to collect 18 points in that game. When we think about Onana's performance in both Galatasaray matches in the Champions League as well I still can't believe that he collected 18 points. When we think that the Turkish national goalkeeper Altay who was transferred this season hasn't played in even 1 official match yet too maybe Manchester United might need to think of transferring a goalkeeper in January. |

On top of that it is a big success to do this at a Champions League night with so many surprises happened in my opinion. Don't know how VAR convinced him otherwise but he's been taken off duty already.
I think that VAR is creating more problems that good things. It is always possible for refs to make mistakes, but I have seen way to many mistakes after questionable VAR checking. Match is over now and Newcastle needs more experience in Europe for matches like this, so I think next year will be better if they qualify for Champions League again. I agree. However if the referee didn't call a ridiculous penalty against Newcastle in the last minute Newcastle were going to qualify from this group most probably. Leicester also joined the Champions League without an experience after becoming the champions and they managed to play in the quarter finals. If Newcastle didn't have any injury and suspension troubles I think they could have also played in the quarter finals. |

However when I checked the leaderboard I saw that I was only able to become the 4th. notblox1 managed to win the yellow cap by managing to collect exactly 20 points this week. I don't think that anyone will be able to collect 20 points again this season. Therefore I congratulate him very much.

4 of 6 matches played in the Champions League tonight ended in a draw. I especially thought that Bayern Munich would win against Copenhagen home comfortably today. However Copenhagen got a very criticial point for themselves and managed to enter the final week being in 2nd place and ahead of Galatasaray. Before the final matches in Group A Copenhagen, Galatasaray and Manchester United all have a chance to qualify from the group. Even though Copenhagen look like the favourite I think Galatasaray will qualify from this group by winning their final match.

As long as the regulations don't change significantly I don't give it much chance to happen. Because Red Bull are currently too ahead of the other teams. Small regulation changes can't be a worrying obstacle for Red Bull at this level. There is a voting process by teams of course so I wonder what the majority of the teams would say about such big change. Verstappen is currently one of the most talented drivers on the grid. When we combine a driver like this with the most powerful team this happens. To be honest I don't feel like his domination will fade much until 2026 season. |

Here is the main highlight to look out for @cls63 with 10 points on RB Leipzig to win and Leipzig is currently leading with 2 goals ! Thats 85 points lads ! This is going to propel him up to top 10 if Leipzig ended up winning That's freaking nuts! I'm not saying that's improbable, but then I was just about to come ask if we have anybody that went all out on Leipzig to win against City, but the only problem is that it's just halftime, and even If I'm the one with that stake, I sure as hell isn't going to feel this all over, because it's Man City we are speaking, however could be just on of those days, even though every one here is a direct competitor, I still wouldn't want them lose this because of the guts take had to go for it from the get go! I watched the first half. To be honest Leipzig didn't have a performance that deserved to get ahead by 2-0. They were just lucky in the whole half. Be quite bro, don't jinx me. There are still a whole 45 more minutes ahead us. I was able to collect only 6.6 points and I'm 48th now. Leipzig's winning the match would be great for me. |
