601  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin close to $600 before summer starts! Even much higher levels coming. on: February 15, 2016, 02:20:10 AM
We are due for a rally of at least 50%, so Bitcoin will come close to $600 before the end of May.
If we are looking at an epic year, then $3,500 is possible before the end of November.

My "in depth study" is based on a combination of history and fundamental factors.
Enjoy the ride.  Smiley

I don't own much BTC wealth, but the rally is coming:
Are you prepared for a huge up move?

Your calculations seem high but really knobody know.
602  Economy / Speculation / Re: 400$ is the new bottom on: February 15, 2016, 02:13:39 AM
I think that yes, But we need to wait a couple or weeks to be sure.
603  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to hit $10,000? on: February 15, 2016, 02:09:14 AM
Maybe 2020 or 2025. Wait a moment! only 4 years to 2020. Better 2025. Cheesy
604  Economy / Speculation / Re: Poll: What year will Bitcoin reach $10,000? on: February 15, 2016, 02:05:14 AM
Some peoples said that 2016 but looks very low probably. But 2020 maybe. We will see.
605  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of the bitcoin will jump again? on: February 15, 2016, 02:03:13 AM
I think the price has started to jump, and it will continue to jump for next few months, as halving is also on the way, so may be next few months would be good for bitcoin in terms of its value.

Agree with that, good point.
606  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is hopeless, sell your coins now on: February 15, 2016, 02:02:15 AM
i just sold everything i got.. what do i do now. what if my fiat turns into regular cotton by sunup??

This guy sold, But probably he bought after.
607  Economy / Speculation / Re: How it will go to $0 again? on: February 15, 2016, 01:51:02 AM
The same can happens with fiat, gold, etc.......  but it is unlikely in many years.
608  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin value on: February 15, 2016, 01:44:24 AM
The value of bitcoin will keep on growing till the halving occurs, but after halving there are many possibilities that the price will drop down significantly.

Agree but I dont see any reason to a drop after that this happens.
609  Economy / Speculation / Re: $400 within 16/2 ? on: February 15, 2016, 01:41:42 AM
seems op has made a correct prediction. bitstamp and btc-e have gone above the $400 price level while bitfinex was struggling with a +1000 btc sell wall at $400. i really hope we will advance further and build up a strong support above $400. as long as that doesn't happen, the price can still go back to where we were a few days back. at this point there is no support at all.

Yes but OP say Feb 16. Anyway the price could keep 400 at least until that date.
610  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin will used as National Currency on 2026? on: February 15, 2016, 01:36:24 AM
With a lot of devices running transactions everything is possible but surely other cryptocurrencies  will be serving too, But I can not really describe their status as National or something different. But yes as a value instrument.
611  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price settling at $420. on: February 15, 2016, 01:12:40 AM
Ok, This is a 2-month old thread.
After the retreat from the December highs, I would be happy if the price stayed above $400 now.
I wouldn't be too greedy.

Considering the halving above $400 could be a new  stable price.
612  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020 on: February 15, 2016, 01:08:34 AM
Can't judge the exact price of bitcoin for the year 2020 as bitcoin price is too volatile and keeps on fluctuating but anything around $1k seems to be possible depending on the user adoption.

Your estimate is too low it can achieve this value only on this year.
613  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reached 450$ today. share your views guys on: February 15, 2016, 01:00:28 AM
Its good to see bitcoin reaching $450 after a long time, it gives a positive feeling that the good days of bitcoin have come and it will reach $1k in next couple of months.

You are one of the plenty title only readers here on this forum. Did you even bother to check the price to see if it really reached $450?

I remember  $442 a day before it was on December 14, so at some point the next day just as his creator did this post it must have happened. Wink

614  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Value 2016 on: February 15, 2016, 12:51:05 AM
A new ATH no, but the price can go up when we are at halving time.
It is what we all are expecting and in a way I still feel it will happen.

Price will go high when we reach the halving time, and it might cross even $600 but again its really difficult to predict anything at a moment, lets hope that price reaches to a new level in next few months.

The price can go up before halving $600  is somewhat conservative. 800 or even more is feasible.
615  Economy / Speculation / Re: Poll: What will be the high price of Bitcoin in 2016? on: February 15, 2016, 12:37:56 AM
My rough guess is anything between $500 and 700$.....wonder what Nostradamus would think

Maybe he must have left something in his quartets but how hard would decipher it. But yes agree with you, I was thinking until $800 but $1000  could be feasible.
616  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chinese are beginning to pile into BTC again, see huobi prices on: February 15, 2016, 12:24:52 AM
might be the next leg up soon, who knows.

Or they're Goxxing everyone.

Goxxing?

I do not find this in the dictionary, neither Mintpaling or Cryptsing.
617  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN going up or down on: February 15, 2016, 12:19:44 AM
Bitcoin is going up and will continue to go up for next couple of months, lets see what halving holds for us, so its better to hold bitcoins at a moment and not to sell.

That sounds very likely.
618  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: February 14, 2016, 11:58:25 PM
I heard about that  on the web.
619  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: February 14, 2016, 11:48:06 PM
128 days until the halving from now aprox. the prices can rise before than this happens...........................

In the last four months, we've gone from the low-to-mid 200's to about $400. What makes you think that isn't the run up to the halving? Bitcoin is up over 70% in the last four months. Maybe you missed it. I'm hopeful it will continue to go up, but I won't be surprised if it's reached its high point already related to the halving hype.

I hope not wrong, but the price will go up further still, some peoples  think that price will drop down after halving until the same levels than now, but I see unlikely so a new floor should emerge. BTC is strong if we are considering for example the increase  ETH, many peoples expected that bitcoiners could only switch to ETH something that dont happened. Talk of a new price would be a bit random but the price goes up and stays at a new level sounds very likely.
620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: February 14, 2016, 09:59:59 PM
Is it possible to reach 0.1 BTC ETH  Huh Huh Huh Huh

Make that 0.25 ETH/BTC...   it's only a quarter folks!!!   Grin

I am just excited with the recent price spikes going on for ETH and hoping for it to be in par with Bitcoin. My estimate would be 1 BTC = 1 ETH or I could be wrong.  Roll Eyes

In my opinion, I see that ETH is a lot more useful than BTC (and more powerful) with the ability to create dapps, smart contracts, issue your own assets, etc. If all goes well, it might even become Bitcoin's replacement. I am very optimistic.  Grin

Analizing that equality in the event that the value could be the same:

                              1 BTC = 1 ETH

and considering the supply now only:
                             15,211,400 BTC  = 77,033,300 ETH

so that equality could never be fulfilled

seen otherwise:
Price of BTC $ 401.24    and assuming that ETH could cost the same then:

15,211,400*401.24 is not equal to 77,033,300*401.24

the only way that it can be accomplished is that the price of ETH would be lower than BTC a value aprox. of 79.23. checking:

            15,211,400*401.24=77,033,300*79.23

6103422136 = 6103348359*with a little difference of 73777 only by the use of two decimals

Summarizing and speaking only about the unity 1 BTC or 1 ETH :

this leaves room only for:

1BTC > 1ETH     just now
1BTC < 1ETH     can be but could be very difficult

Note: this approach is only at this stage for these values which remain changing quickly, for nothing it should be taken for an investment decision or something. Smiley

Corrections are welcome.........
