601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin more worth than other cryptocurrencies that have better specs? on: October 19, 2019, 06:23:57 AM
You're right there are some altcoins that has better specifications compared to bitcoin but can they use they specification to beat up bitcoin in the market.
Bitcoin is the first, all altcoins are based on bitcoin if we have gold monetary system where gold is the main basis of currency we have bitcoin monetary system online where the main pairs in exchange of altcoins are mostly based on bitcoin.
602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What you Thinks about 10000 BTC move to binance exchange by bitcoin whale on: October 19, 2019, 05:31:36 AM
Do you think a bitcoin price will go dump again?
No one knows, tho anyone can predict what will be the next happening on bitcoins price we can't really assure that it will go that way.
so what you suggest for all BTC investors is the right time to buy or wait some more time.
I'll suggest waiting a bit more time when bitcoins price drops in near $7k flat mark that will be the best range to buy from now I think. Always buy at dips and not on peaks always remember that.
603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Google's Quantum Computer Destroy Bitcoin? on: October 19, 2019, 05:00:43 AM
Nonetheless, do you think that Google's Quantum Computer will be able to destroy Bitcoin in the future? Or will the pioneer cryptocurrency adapt itself against this new trend? Huh
They pretty much can bruteforce any announts private keys using that quantum computer for sure and if they tweak it more and use it to specifically hack the whole bitcoin system I think it will still need a lot of time effort and manpower and more quantum computers to be able to do it fast.
604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where To Spen Bitcoins? Full List. on: October 19, 2019, 03:41:58 AM
It's surprising to know that there are already lots of huge companies who are now accepting Bitcoins. Even local companies are accepting it right now. In our country, some universities are also accepting it as payment. Some establishments and restaurants are also accepting it. Some people aren't aware of it so we have to spread this kind of news. Bitcoin is really growing continuously and is consistent in being the most trusted digital currency.
Wow its fascinating to know that there are some universities that are accepting bitcoin in your country. Where you from btw?
I'm only aware that restaurants and some grocery are accepting bitcoin payments here in my place never heard of an university that really accept bitcoin payments.
605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is not a Chinese Exchange on: October 19, 2019, 02:16:02 AM
Quote
in advance of the Chinese government ban on cryptocurrency trading in September 2017.[4]

as far as i can tell there ha never been any "ban" on cryptocurrency "trading" in China. the only thing they have ever banned was ICOs because of obvious reasons (being scams and all that) and also they closed down the Chinese exchanges which were laundering money more than anything else.
I think there have been some cryptocurrency ban not just on ICOs alone. Why did they moved if not a certain ban was lifted back then?
They are forced to move from China to Japan and no to Malta due to legality issues on each country
606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware!! Bitcoin can be the future but a lot of work is to be done on: October 19, 2019, 12:52:53 AM
Bitcoin, as well as many other altcoins, still need to mature more and a lot more development should be implemented to them in order to qualify for being a currency later in the future. Everything in the cryptocurrency world still has flaws and most of that are major flaws that may cause a major issue for the people to go against crypto and don't adopt it.
607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will Be 1M$ if all countries Ban it on: October 18, 2019, 10:29:17 PM
Bitcoin now is not yet banned on most big countries and yes the demand is big but it is declining no more new investors are coming in. Come to think of it when all country are banning bitcoin who do you think will go and buy bitcoin from underground /black market? Surely there are alot of people living from that but for sure the population of bitcoin interested people on that market is just very few. If there are no audience interested to bitcoin because of it being illegal demand depletion will be expected and bitcoins price will surely fall off
608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to Bring Water to Ethiopia on: October 18, 2019, 02:10:26 PM
I think we need to stop drawing water from under the ground, it is causing some major problems, and increasing desertification. The Chinese are starting to provide desalination plants, and this would seem to be a better solution. It provides a pretty marginal reduction in sea levels, but more importantly, it starts to replace the groundwater, and can lead to reforestation if managed correctly.
Ancient people is the one who knew that we could get water from the ground and it was used ever since that period up to now and now we are taking the toll of what they have exploited.
I think each country already laying down a plan to conserve ground water and recycle water from daily usage of people and rainfall which will greatly help in water shortage we are experiencing now.
609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers targeting Tor on: October 18, 2019, 01:33:55 PM
Thanks for sharing this op I don't know anything about that tor malware injected issue. I've been using tor browser for some times now and now I quickly uninstalled and update all my onlin accounts passwords.
This is dangerous and tor developers should fix and release a patch to kill it because most of tor users are bitcoin users and we are all at risk.
610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin May Extinct on: October 18, 2019, 12:58:34 PM
The hacking problem was already solved and right now that hacking incident can no longer occur.
How can you be se sure that the hacking incident will no longer appear and occur anytime now or in the future?
Bitcoin and blockchain system is yes secured but still quite vulnerable to hacking. Hackers can always find a hole to penetrate and milk the system we can't assure that bitcoins security is on top level.
611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There Is No War Against Bitcoin! Stop The Fud! on: October 18, 2019, 11:41:42 AM
They had hundreds of thousands of bitcoins after the Silk Road bust, yet they auctioned them all off in 2014 and 2015. Why didn't they hold onto them?
There's a reason on why they rush auctioned it not hold onto them, bitcoin isn't the type of thing US government would trust and believe. They don't support bitcoin to be short so they just auctioned it and let people have the profit from holding it. Bitcoin value back then and till  now is still a penny worth to US government total  worth so they don't really bother selling those.
612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 85% of All Bitcoin Have Now Been Mined!!! on: October 18, 2019, 10:37:47 AM
What do you think? are your thoughts the same as mine?
People won't leave mining business just because all bitcoins were totally mined, they must continue to mine because without them transactions will be close to impossible to be confirmed in fast phase. Plus with the mining of all bitcoin there will be the price inflation and miners should lived off on bitcoin transaction fees alone, which will cost us alot for sure in USD value because bitcoins price will surely still rise.
613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Loan to buy Bitcoin? on: October 18, 2019, 09:45:02 AM
That depends on how long you are going to HODL your bitcoin. If you buy bitcoin now and HODL it for the next 5-10 years you are going to make a huge amount of profits. Imagine the people that bought bitcoin in the last 5-8 years? Those guys bought bitcoin around $100 to $200 range and yet they can now sell their bitcoins for roughly $8k minimum. Bitcoin is a very good investment for the long term.
5-8 years of risking the money you didn't own. Its more than a gamble if you think about it risking much money that didn't came from your own wallet and work and money that you need to return with interest. There is no assurance that bitcoin will still sore up in that span of year, we can't say if bitcoin will die in few years you must expect the unexpected too sometimes.
614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone here running any Bitcoin ATMs? on: October 18, 2019, 01:20:22 AM
Bitcoin ATM isn't that easy to build as a business. You need to conduct a study on how many bitcoin/crypto users are around your area where you'll be placing your machine. Without knowing this kind of stuff you're not to fit to stand a bitcoin ATM machine not until you gather enough information that your business may bloom. It doesn't work like there's only few machines out there If I place one I can profit.
I've talked to people in the two stores locally with Bitcoin ATMs (a vape shop and a 24-hour convenience store), and they have told me they get a small but steady stream of people using the ATMs.
It is a goodnews and from that small counts they can surely earn a little but sufficient profit from that. Bitcoin atms has alot of.potential if you can pick the right place and population to place your bitcoin ATM.
Having a steady stream of people using customer at the current stage of bitcoins popularity is good considerding that bitcoin is still not widely accepted and once the day it came true those businesses will surely boom.
615  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Hardware wallet help !!! on: October 17, 2019, 11:46:42 PM
I will recommend and vouch ledger nano s for you. I've been using this for almost 2 years now and everything is still safe and sound.
About the OTG thingy I can't confirm it because I haven't tried it yet because I don't have  OTG connector for my mobile phone and I mostly do my transactions on just my pc alone.
616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Legality effect on: October 17, 2019, 11:03:15 PM
Legalization is important, it is the secret to achieve a massive adoption.  Grin
Exactly, future bitcoin users are hesistant because of the fact that bitcoin isn't legal yet and not acknowledge by the government and some supporters that have companies or business that wants to promote bitcoin are getting stopped by the legality issues thinkin that they might get sued for it.
Whatever the government announced legal the community  will follow and get curious about it and try it. This is the key factor to mass adoption.
617  Economy / Economics / Re: Millennial generation are screwed! on: October 17, 2019, 10:06:50 PM
Not all millennials are like that. I am one of those who are not interested in playing games and I focus on learning and teaching my self how to live on my own and to don't hope to someone to feed me.
I hope that my fellow millennials won't screw up bitcoin more because some of us are really interested and love bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency scene.
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever been stolen or lost your BTC? on: October 17, 2019, 05:50:55 PM
Where do you keep crypto? Have you ever been stolen?
I use to keep storing bitcoin and other coins in exchange wallet back in the days but all of that changed when I got hacked on that website, Indeed it is not safe and advisable to store bitcoins or any other altcoins on exchanges and online wallets.
The best way for you to store bitcoins and various altcoins are using hardware wallets which will cost you money but will make your funds secured.
619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and kiddie porn on: October 17, 2019, 12:18:24 PM
This is the bad side of bitcoin and what forces the government to go against it, they can't control the usage of bitcoin. Bitcoin is widely used in the deep web from buying drugs and this kind of child pornography. Sellers/merchants from deep web most prefer this kind of payment because it is anonymous and security are favoring their side.
620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Massive Crypto Whales Move 318,649 BTC Worth $3 Billion * the bitcoin cafe on: October 17, 2019, 11:51:47 AM
It is hard to speculate whether which this bitcoins came from, who is the sender and where it is being sent it isa an anonymous transaction to be short. We aren't sure that those bitcoins belongs to a whale or just an exchange transfering some funds.
the beauty of this tech to move so large amount without banks/paypal/other shit..
To add to that, the fact that transferring those bitcoins with a hundred millions of dollar value and just pay approx $400 for fees are extremely fascinating. You can't do that using a bank or some remittance centers and many more payment processors/forwarding servicing out now.
