My forecast was actually CONSERVATIVE lol But your forecast was quite wrong.. I can be 'conservative' 99.9% of the time if I claim BTC will be worth more than 1 cent

The forum isn't based in the US.
I love the American altitude on this board. 96% of the people in the world are not in the US.

Bitcoin address filtering: Never!
0.001 BTC to address A is the same as 0.001 BTC to address B. This is also trivial to bypass (S.DICE can just gen a new address on page load specific to each visitor but permanently valid)

I think around $2,000 sounds like a reasonable investment to start with. I've made an account with https://mtgox.com/, is there a better way to buy coins to start? Also if there's any required reading on bitcoins that I don't know about, please share your wisdom anyone! If you're going to invest any significant amount of money, familiarize yourself with Bitcoin security and learn how to keep your bitcoins safe, make sure you know exactly how to move your funds from place to place, familiarize yourself with the practices of any exchanges you intend to use and with the challenges you might encounter (e.g. identity verification, etc.), and familiarize yourself with how the Bitcoin protocol actually works. Don't ignore this advice

How much is losing $20,000 to you, and how much do you have in bitcoin right now?
I currently have no bitcoins, I just really started looking in to bitcoin a few days ago. I'm not thinking $20,000 to start, but I'm willing to invest a chunk of it to see how it works out. It looks to me like I'm already a tad to late if I was in it for the most profit, but I'm still optimistic about where bitcoin's going. I'm only 21 so $20,0000 is quite a bit in my mind, I'm working on changing that though lol If I were you I'd take 2 grand and throw it into BTC. That's 10%. But, I'm not you. In my opinion, Bitcoin has a long way to go before a person can be considered "a tad to - late." There's a pretty popular idea around here that goes something like this: "In a few years, either Bitcoin will be worth thousands of dollars apiece, or they will be worth nothing." I actually think this reasoning is quite sensible.
I believe that quote was from Satoshi but about the transaction volume.

I'm currently permabull on bitcoin. There's lots of people not going in because they thought that the greatest returns were already over, and it happened so many times - at $8, $10, $20, $30, $40, and you're the one saying it at $50 Go in with the mindset that you have a chance to lose a significant portion of your investment.

So is the fincen report a great news for satoshi dice (btc/btc business)?
I don't see how it affects sdice. sdice is not a "exchanger" or a "money transmitter", or an "administrator". But under that guidance (IIRC) WinPoker would be an exchanger / money transmitter..

Is it illegal to shop from a US shop that doesn't comply with the FinCEN guidance, or is it just illegal for the shop owner?

Cool design, but I'd suggest not cluttering up download with all those social widgets. They should be placed elsewhere. Use that spot for learn more, read the wiki, etc.

Don't worry about it, obviously your just stoping by, if you want to make an offer, make an offer than... Otherwise your really not doing anything but making yourself looking stupid, but thanks for your input again I can handle it from here I'm not doing anything other than calling out how ridiculous some offer is It's like some newbie comes to #bitcoin-otc, asks "selling 1 BTC" and someone offers him $4. I don't think there's anything wrong with lowballing, but don't expect people to not call out ridiculous ones. LMAO this business, this not buying some 1BTC, this is why some people are rich and some people are not. This isn't lowballing, on a site that has no profits, or not even really built yet, this how the real world works. I guess you have a lot to learn about business it is ok. You better get on the people that brought into twitter at 1% for $3,000 they lowballing LOL I recanting any of my offers on this thread, cause I really don't like being insult and being flamed by someone that has no business in this thread, my fault should have PM but didn't know it would turn into this circus. Sorry bitpanda. 1% for $3,000 versus 50% for a real cost of around $25-$50 (assuming you can flip the domain). You know, take your own words and look at "real world" funding: " We usually invest $11,000 + $3000n .. in return for between 2% and 10% of the company. The average is 7%". For a site that isn't really built yet and has no profits I'm not going to argue with someone who has that big of a problem looking at numbers, so bye!

It doesn't look visually appealing to users who don't know it.
The last few characters ARE already a checksum. Well made bitcoin sites don't let you enter an address with a wrong checksum.

Can you talk about the site and how it will make an income? Also if the domain name is something worth it, I will buy and you can rent it from me for 50% of your income, is that a deal your interested?
Yes, sell 50% of your income for $100. Great idea, not. Wrong, very wrong, I am taking a hit with the domain, so if the site doesn't pay back the $100 for domain name, they don't lose anything If losing $100 (that can be probably resold if the domain is half decent) is the end of the world to someone, I don't think they're going to make a successful site. Are they using 000freehost too with a @hotmail.com email address?
