6741  Economy / Services / Re: Anyone Want to Team Up? on: February 04, 2013, 11:44:11 AM
Hello, I'm Dpony.

I'm an experienced pixel artist
and a fairly good musician.

I've been part of
3 independent game development teams.

I'm best at making
the Orchestral genre of music,

I have about 6 months of experience
in making music and 3 years experience
in pixel art/spriting.

Anyone interested in
teaming up and making
a bitcoin-powered game?
sure, I posted about this before. How good are you with drawing characters, items? And is JV ok?

This is why you escrow or take upfront payments.

Knowing your identity helps nothing. We all know Pirate is Trendon Shavers.. but nothing's came out of it.

6747  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAMMER - unkn0wn12 - Aleksander Śnigurowicz - Loan default + scammed others on: February 04, 2013, 09:24:13 AM
I can confirm that Linden Lab has seized us all Lindens deposits made by Aleks at therock
and that he has stolen a lot of Second Life accounts (he connected from the same polish
IP for a while, starting using TOR only later), which he used to buy Lindens using
stolen credit cards.

I know some of the users who got their second life account stolen, have contacted FBI
on this matter, even if I doubt they can do anything in Poland.

There is no doubt that this guy is a scammer.

Ouch..
6748  Economy / Securities / Re: ASIC Mining Own a stake in one? (ASIC Start up) on: February 04, 2013, 08:49:09 AM
So, I put down a order with both BFL and Avalon.
Did you? Order ID?

Quote
I am just trying to figure out how I can spread the cost of buying more
How about not buying more things you cannot afford..

Quote
I don't pay for power, and so far  (after a year of mining) no one has complained about power use.
Okay, where are you hosting it? Your parent's house? Work? Hidden in a public library? Think about theft, damage, insurance.

Quote
I think it would be reasonable to slice each machine in to 1ghz shares, and sell each share for 1 BTC (I will pay shipping and absorb any market fluctuation)
Please no more set hashpower shares.

Quote
Your Shares would be good forever.
No, it will not. What if you get in a car accident? What if you get arrested?

Quote
I would offer to buy them back at from you should you ever need to.

Right, and if you cannot afford the buy the ASICs how do you expect us to believe that you will buy them back with money you don't have? Huh

Quote
I would appreciate feed back from anyone that has done this before. Or anyone that currently runs something like this wanted to consult  IO would also not be apposed.
How about mining with your "2 ASICs" with your "free electricity" (Lemmie guess, free internet, insurance, maintenance too?)
6749  Economy / Gambling / Re: This is the magnificent bitcoin gem on: February 04, 2013, 05:39:57 AM
There are similar games out there
6750  Other / Archival / Re: btt on: February 04, 2013, 03:15:38 AM
I think it'd be better to buy 2 avalon ASICs, because GPU mining will be unprofitable and they probably will ship before BFL. See if BFL ships, if yes buy some of BFL. Gen 2 probably will not be coming for a while as BFL is already 65nm, just more overclocked ones
6751  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: February 04, 2013, 03:10:55 AM
Then hold a mix of euros, AUD, gold, silver and Bitcoins! You can actually get somewhat decent interest rates (~4%) with AUD.
6752  Economy / Lending / Re: 5btc loan request (1 week 10%) on: February 03, 2013, 09:14:05 PM
I'm gonna set up a.bank in here.I'll be.lending like I don't even care, I'll even lend to the polish and Russian scammers AND I'll collect on them WITH extra juice for being dodgy.  call me the polish shark.
Okay, I'll check back on your profile in a month.

6755  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: PHP martingale bot for satoshiDICE on: February 03, 2013, 04:13:03 AM
So I've got a good understanding of PHP but never heard of JSON. I've got everything you said. How do I make it work?  Roll Eyes

http://bitcoin.org -> install bitcoin
http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html -> install xampp (which includes php)

have a read of https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/PHP_developer_intro

http://jsonrpcphp.org -> get jsonRPCClient.php

the OP was aimed at coders who already have the basic dev environment set up.
Download jsonRPCClient.php, place it in same directory.

But don't try martingale. I lost 100BTC  Embarrassed
6756  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: bbitco.in - Have fun. Get bitcoin. on: February 03, 2013, 04:09:14 AM
I made anaccount to support your idea, not a fan survay websites but I'll do a few when everything is up and running.
Thanks pal. Smiley I definitely appreciate the support! Some people hate doing offers, and then again some people swear by them.

Typically what I do is install a virtual Windows machine and then install DeepFreeze (reverts the system back to a fresh install when you reboot the computer). Then I do tons of download/install offers from other websites. It works pretty well because I don't have to keep uninstalling everything that I bog the virtual machine down with.

But yea.. Again, thanks for the support!
Typically, you could do something useful instead of hunting for surveys Smiley

6758  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Quick bitcoin purchase on: February 03, 2013, 03:40:34 AM
1. Move to Currency Exchanges
2. I may be interested, max 1 bitcoin. If you are ok with sending government issued ID & rep in other sites like ebay, hackforums, PM me.
6759  Economy / Lending / Re: Seek Loan for Avalon ASIC batch 2 on: February 03, 2013, 03:02:47 AM
$1,750 is a lot. Maybe if you're a reputable member of the bitcoin community, you'd get a 1% interest loan for a few weeks.

I'd suggest going with something like 5% - don't think you'll get anyone to loan it through.
