622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Teofimo Lopez Vs. Jamaine Ortiz WBO Welterweight Title February 8 on: December 20, 2023, 02:42:36 PM

It's now final, Teofimo Lopez Vs. Jamaine Ortiz will square off for the WBO Welterweight Title on February 8

This is a very risky fight for Teofimo Lopez, Ortiz gave Lomachenko a tough fight when they fought and He's going to give Lopez a much tougher fight, Ortiz is a guy who doesn't back up and has powers on both hands and can deliver lethal body shots, we all know Lopez

Quote
If Ortiz doesn’t fade like he tends to do, Teofimo could be in a lot of trouble in this fight and might need help from the judges, as we saw in his fight with Sandor Martin. Ortiz is one of those guys that looks huge after he rehydrates. Jamaine isn’t on the level of a Devin Haney, where he’ll rehydrate 25 lbs to 165 lbs and come in as a super middleweight, but he’ll likely have a size advantage over Teofimo on fight night.

WBO light welterweight champion Teofimo Lopez and lightweight Jamaine Ortiz have a fight in the works for Thursday, February 8th, at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada.

623  Other / Meta / Re: Is really referral or affiliate are not allowed in Forum ? on: December 19, 2023, 11:19:21 PM
I noticed some people here say there is a blanket ban on referral links.  But I dont think thats right.  Hopefully the mods will correct me if Im wrong!

Based on the forum rules, referral code (referral link) spam is not allowed - fair enough.  But if your post is on-topic, has good, relevant info and you include a referral link, that seems to be fine.

I did some searching and found a couple quotes from theymos and mprep that relate to this:

........

(You might want to visit the relevant threads for the full context.)

That's interesting so there could be a scenario of two shill accounts creating a thread about promoting a site with their referral link on it in disguise of a good discussion like what is mentioned as an example, all I know is referral links are not allowed at all post, now this can be abuse or manipulated but it can still be reported to the moderator and let the moderator decide on the merit of the discussion where the referral link is included.
624  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk mixer ban, Altcointalk is active in that scope. on: December 19, 2023, 04:43:03 PM

Well now if all types of signatures are stopped from this forum then there will be no people to post here. I'm not saying that absolutely no one will post, there will be many who don't have any kind of signature. Am I right or wrong about this?
Interacting through forums is very addictive just like posting what's on your mind on Facebook so those who are active whether they have a signature or not will continue to post but those who want to be incentivized will not post frequently but there are still signature campaigns it's not alarming for the forum, activity will be the same.

Quote
What is the benefit of closing the mixer campaign? altcointalk are allowed. Has it been justified to stop the mixer campaign at all? Discontinuing the mixer campaign on the BitcoinTalk forum has had one benefit, that is, the activation of the altcointalk forum.
The altcointalk campaign is experimental we will see in the coming months how the forum performs and can the mixers create a brand through that forum and attract more users and will altcointalk will be their forum platform.

625  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I've launched a reverse advertising platform on: December 19, 2023, 02:35:31 PM
just fill out the form with your npub id to get paid when someone clicks your link.

How does someone get paid when they click on the link?  You have no backend and your development fundraising has failed.

Your site should list how much one gets paid, and the minimum amount to request payment.

Webring is a thing of the past there should be some sort of directory of all the participants, signup page to a dashboard to track earnings and track clinks, there's no FAQ or terms either so how would people understand the concept, especially for new people who do not know how web rings works and what's the CPM for one participant to cashout, I don't know if you understand the concept but it's way too late to re-introduce it now there's already Google.

Interesting Facts About Webring
626  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Tutoryal]: Paano gamitin ang Viabtc transaction accelerator on: December 19, 2023, 12:24:28 PM
Sinubukan ko yan gamitin nung huling Bitcoin transaction ko 8 days ago pero hindi sya nag success kasi may error kahit meron pa naman siyang Remaining hourly FREE transactions, basta ang naaala ko is yung volume limit ata or size, more or less 500MB?

Quote
The volume of a single transaction must be ≤0.5 KB, and the transaction fee rate should be ≥ 0.0001 BTC/KB.

628  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Funds withdrawn from Stake without 2FA. on: December 19, 2023, 10:45:28 AM

My Question: How can a withdraw gets accepted without 2fa?
Reply: There are numerous ways that we are not familiar with.

Stake team is not providing me any details about the withdrawal. And on that they say their security is impenetrable.

Another point I want to ask to everyone here
Why there is not authenticity check when the user logs in from a different country in a day's time or even whenever he logs in from a different country rather than his home country.?

This is a rare complaint there was an intrusion on your account and we can only investigate if you care to send the latest transaction where you think the scammers withdrew your funds and how much funds and the time he withdrew it everything is available in your transaction page to check your email also if you're using an email confirmation for every action in your account, your login sessions is another, you have to check all areas of your account to see if there is an intrusion, Stake has no control on your action as long as you have the email or the tool that allow access your account, its better to change your password now both on Stake and your email.
You're a long-time member of this forum you should have followed the right format in creating an accusation that's always been the drill.
629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which type of gambling have more gambling addicts ? on: December 18, 2023, 11:34:06 PM
We don't have supporting documents or studies to prove which among you mentioned produced the most number of addicts we could speculate on the matter, but based on logic online gambling produced more gambling addicts than any others, because of the bonuses, free perks and they are operating 24/7 and easily accessible anywhere you are.
They are just a click away, and there are so many online casinos to choose from, once you are lured by one online casino, you will be on so many casinos eventually, and many of the people who know you don't even know that you are into gambling, that makes it more appealing to gamble online, you are out of the prying eyes and criticism.
630  Economy / Services / Re: We Build Sites with Thousands (!) of Articles on: December 18, 2023, 04:08:41 PM

Quality links are far more conducive to solid rankings than plugins.
You have to prove that by showing us the ranking metrics of some of the sites you mentioned in your post, you have to convince your client not on the number of articles that you can provide but the return on investment that they are going to get from your package, so let's say from this package
Quote
$1,850 for a website with 1,000 articles.
What's the projected return on investment, and what kind of monetization is applicable?

Quote
We are happy to provide SEO consulting free of charge as a courtesy to ensure customers don't waste money on useless or even detrimental links like the ones found on let's say Fiverr.
I have seen Fiverr freelancers with hundreds of testimonials and getting excellent to good ratings what do you have that you think you are better than these freelancers?
631  Economy / Services / Re: We Build Sites with Thousands (!) of Articles on: December 18, 2023, 01:41:30 PM

Examples of sites we've built:

  • The DN.org domain name encyclopedia
  • The Investing.co financial education platform
  • The CoffeeBlog.com coffee enthusiast resource
  • The Honest.pa roofing and contracting business
  • The PremiumEV.com premium electric vehicle hub
  • The Aethic Education section
  • The MarkMappr.com, TMTactics.com and LogoLegals.com trademark expert sites
  • The DogKora.com dog training blog

Looking forward to working with you!

Please confirm and clarify whether these are all the sites you've created or similar sites you've created because based on the configuration of your post you own or built these websites so checking the Whois of every site I found this
The DN.org domain name encyclopedia https://www.whois.com/whois/dn.org Registered On:1996-11-19 Expires On: 2030-11-18
The Investing.co financial education platform https://www.whois.com/whois/investing.co Registered On: 2010-02-24 Expires On: 2024-02-23

Are you only selling articles and Wordpress set up only because it's so easy to generate articles now with the power of AI in fact on Codecanyon there are Wordpress-based AI and what are the additional plugins included in the package to make sure the sites you will build up will rank in the search engines I did not see any plugins included, if its Wordpress we all know plugins are the things that powered a Wordpress site.

633  Other / Meta / Re: To login I had to go thru over 50 captcha is this normal? on: December 17, 2023, 11:10:27 PM
It's your network.. please try using a supper strong network, I have kept myself before then struggling with login in but when I changed network I noticed it was danm fucking easy to access the forum. Please work on your network forum is lite to access.

I agree with you bro in our house we have two connections when one cannot verify the captcha the other one always can, a quick change of the connection can solve the issue, you have two options, the forum's bypass captcha feature or having two internet connections, just be sure both connections are good.
634  Other / Meta / Re: I think it's possible to keep going without banning mixers on: December 17, 2023, 04:21:39 PM

We have to accept that sooner or later the time will come when signature campaigns will no longer be part of this forum. Whether it will be about the fact that gambling sites will be banned after the mixers, or maybe the forum as a place for advertising will lose its meaning due to the decreasing interest of some of the new generations that are coming.
Theymos can disable showing the signature banners and it could end right away but he needs activity on this forum so he'll likely keep it on, or if Bitcointalk loses its value on the internet or the search engine it's unlikely with over 500k backlinks, and counting, the future is very uncertain but these two are two things that will make signature campaign likely to stay, other factors that will make the signature campaign go away are still unknown,

Quote
Some older members of the forum surely remember the time when signature campaigns did not even have a manager and everything was done by bots - and in those ten years we have obviously gone from one extreme to the other. Those who adhere to the rule "always expect the unexpected" have known for a long time that such times will come. We have nothing left but to adapt and move on.
If we're active here daily we will feel that when top casinos cease to support the signature campaign and no new projects are launching a new campaign, but right now they are still at it, let's enjoy until they last or we cannot keep up being active here.
635  Economy / Services / Re: Casual Crypto Gamblers Needed! on: December 17, 2023, 02:54:02 PM
lol you guys are insane and quick to jump to conclusions/biases, I do not care in writing a thread or disclose any further information, contact me on TG if you're a gambler that likes to experiment with casinos or don't, simple as that.

Unorthodox method, yes but Im not scamming anyone and Im not telling you to sign up to some shady casino, not even offering a 'promo code' you can verify the casino's rating and EXACT url on Casinoguru before signing up.

And my offer is not that tempting by the way, im funding the accounts with very small amounts, I would challenge anyone to point out that I scammed them.

Now you're telling us if you complete all the information you're not holding back because there is nothing to hold back if you have no hidden agenda, the scheme of contacting me on telegram for more information coming from newbies has been used so many times by newbies with hidden agendas.
We have seen so many of these so don't blame us or laugh at us for something we have seen so many times, the community knows better so follow the community's recommendation if you mean well you'll get all the support you need.
636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have a "gambling problem" which you can sometimes control for years? on: December 17, 2023, 01:58:55 PM
Let's start with the simple choice: Do you consider yourself to have a gambling problem affecting your happiness, security, relationships, finances, etc? (Yes or No)
Now, here is something a bit different: Do you have a "gambling problem" which you can sometimes control for years? Either you make enough income to call it "adult play", so you do not have real problems, and/or you simply stop for a long time. Then - months or years later - it gets worse again and you are in trouble.
You can't have your cake and eat it too, you simply have to stop the cycle before it hurts your finances, security, relationships and finances you have to choose to stop the cycle even though it benefits you, just take gambling to its truest nature and that is entertainment and don't let it get in the way to the most important things in life.

Quote
(First question was above)
(Second question) Either way, when it's time to stop, how exactly do you do it? (For example) Change other habits, go new places, exercise more, stop drinking, simply "swear off" gambling... How exactly do you stop? Thank you.

I have to stop it's not easy but you have to you cannot go on having an addiction and expect to live a normal life, I have to change my habits and turn in more work so I can forget gambling for a while and when I think that I'm ok I get back to gambling with new perspective.
637  Economy / Gambling / Re: Welcome to 8ombard.com on: December 17, 2023, 12:21:40 PM

We are here to gauge your interest and allow you all to be among the first to participate and give feedback. Being in our first version we are keen to make changes that will suit your preferences. As much as this platform is ours, it's made for you! Make requests and give ideas, we will listen.

We are looking into other ANN threads and we will slowly improve to make ours look better.

The platform needs a lot of improvement, I know that you are presenting something new to the community, and the community welcomes it but there should be an explanation of how everything works here I tried to access the FAQ and Terms page but it's not accessible and I need to sign up to access it, which for me is not preferable, I choose to read the FAQ, terms and everything about the platform so I can fully understand and can comply before joining.

I hope you can configure the platform properly so we can explore the site, since you have your YouTube link on the homepage it's better to create a video on how the games could be played, I marked the site to be in its testing phase for now.
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rodriguez Vs Edwards IBF and IBO WORLD FLYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP DEC 16 2023 on: December 17, 2023, 09:37:59 AM
I'm on travel so I failed to give a timely update on the fight, but the fight turned out to be what we all expected it to be, a real slugfest between two undefeated champions.
But Bam Rodriguez proved to be a more resilient and more tenacious fighter than the two, the end came in the 9th round when Rodriguez knocked down Edwards for the first time in his career seconds before the end of the round, Edwards did beat the count but the corner did not allow him to continue into the 10th round.

Rodriguez Vs Edwards  round 9

Jesse Rodriguez knocks out Sunny Edwards in 10 rounds and is now unified champion
639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prove me wrong: Gambling is both more relaxing and entertaining than trading! on: December 16, 2023, 01:48:09 PM

So prove me wrong (if you think I am), what am I missing?

I will not prove you wrong but in fact, support your claim that gambling is entertaining, and relaxing and there's a lot of thrill attached to it, I also have the same experience in horse racing, off-track betting was so popular back then that there's so much buzz and tips going around and you need to be good in analyzing those tips coming from tipsters and insiders I remember almost hitting the winner take all races jackpot but unfortunately I failed to capitalize on an insider's tips because I have a hard time verifying in the last minute and I have lack of funds to diversify my bets, it was too late because the tips coming from an insider is the one that delivers in the last race of WTA although I have a consolation.
I feel that the race is exciting because the favorite whom I bet only loses by a fraction of a second, and there's a need for a photo finish to verify the real winner.
Gambling is more fun and exciting which makes it addictive even though you know that you can lose money you always come back to capture the thrill, and horse racing is one of them.
640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Andre August - December 15th in Florida on: December 16, 2023, 10:50:09 AM
You gotta give props to Jake Paul when they’re due. He knocked that Andre dude out in the first round with a wicked uppercut. Even the clip made it seem like there wasn’t much hype in the building but you have to consider this mission accomplished if you’re Jake Paul. A brutal knockout on a real boxer… That’s what people said he couldn’t do…

Jake Paul continues his reputation as a bum crusher. There is no surprise whatsoever that this fight ended in the first round. Jake accomplished the same result against Andre August as did Eric Abraham, who currently holds a 7-16 record. If that's what someone considers a "real" boxer then their standards are incredibly low. Andre August is a real boxer in the same way that a benchwarmer on the worst WNBA team is a real basketball player.

This is way too easy for Jake Paul, and everybody expected this to happen, Andre cannot put up a decent defense all Jake has to do is find an opening and create a timing to unload that heavy punch, in this case, a right uppercut, it's an epic mismatch I don't think Jake Paul should be proud at all for a match that many thinks is predictable, there's report that Carl Froch wants to face him who is ten years retired but we still need a confirmation on this.
I hope Jake Paul stops cherry-picking his fight if he wants to be a boxing contender fight a real contender so he can rank up, The boxing community wants a real fight, not a show.
