621  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Warning: WoodCollector on: January 20, 2015, 06:20:46 PM
You could have made a video in the time you spent here flapping your gums about how proof isn't necessary and trying to get people promise to neg-rate me.

Nothing to see here but a scammer grasping at straws. Shame, because his laser etchings are really quite nice. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the video.

PROTIP FOR FORUM ENTREPRENEURS: this is a den of scams and your feet WILL be held to the flames if you smell funny. Don't try to misrepresent yourself and your business dealings!

Yes, because wood carving is so easy that everyone can just whip out a masterpiece in an hour. Some of my clients have been waiting over a month to get something done. Nubbins, your going to lose on this one, and as soon as smoothie accepts my terms, you are going to have egg on your face. Not I. You could have handled yourself in a more professional manner.

EDIT: or is it that you missed the part where my clients have already publicly told you that your claims are false as they, as paying clients, have seen the proof already? Do you really want to keep whipping a dead horse? i have no problem putting this to bed, either once smoothie agrees to my terms, our you realize you made a mistake and fix it. I am a reasonable man, are you?

Did you miss the part where all anyone is asking for is a little bit of proof that you are capable of producing the detail and accuracy you claim to be able to?  It would be as simple as carving "nubbins is a fool" into a piece of wood.

I never heard about your carving before today, but I have spent a lot of time cutting wood with an epiologe laser cutter.  I don't think any of the evidence so far is conclusive but your responses show that you find it unnecessary or difficult to produce proof.  Then you talk about nubbin's unprofessionalism?  He is just a person accusing you of being dishonest, you are supposed to be the professional, not him.
622  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Warning: WoodCollector on: January 20, 2015, 05:59:52 PM
I don't give a shit if this guy is legit or not because I would never buy an overpriced piece of wood in the first place, but I do know that when you are legit it is really easy to show people that.  If it was me being accused instead of replying to every troll that leaves their oppinion I would simply show them proof of my legitimacy.

I keep laughing about how Bill Cosby gets accused of rape and his response is basically "Would a innocent man need to defend himself?" -- very crypto
623  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: KeyserSozeMC scammer on: January 20, 2015, 03:23:06 PM
Really it is a big DUH.

The dude ran ThisWeeksCoin, that should have been enough for people to know he had no vision beyond taking the ICO funds.

What is truly amazing is people are still willing to believe his bullshit about extenuating circumstances or some chance that the coin might be worthwhile.

Oh well.  A fool and his money...

This might be totally unrealistic but what if there where two stratums and depending on which one a miner chose to point at would determine how the btc generated would be used
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [VNL] Vanillacoin, a quiet word of warning. on: January 14, 2015, 09:58:11 PM
Vanillacoin has been awesome to mine with cpu solo and it has been great to not be tied to this forum.  The fact that the true believers feel threatened by the developer doesn't surprise me at all.

What are you even warning people about? "victims"? wtf?  I have felt like a victim numerous times on this forum in the last year, not with vanilla coin though.  Oh well, people will believe what they want.

If you are putting your pictures on the internet, putting where you eat on the internet, putting your interests and where you go on the internet it does not matter what OS you are running.  I can't even imagine how or why you think XP is protecting your privacy.  This is getting old, just like your computer.  Cheesy Grin Wink Kiss

It isn't supposed to be a personal attack, we all play the fool from time to time.  I am saying from a technological standpoint running an outdated OS as your primary is a bad decision.  The point of the operating system is to allow you to run software on your computer is it not?  You are having trouble running software on your computer because your OS is outdated.  Even if it is for some reason a superior OS to you, nostalgia or something more, you can run it as a virtual machine within a modern operating system.  This will allow you to run new software and still run your old software when you want to or whatever it is people do with WinXP.  I know I come off as a bully, sorry.

for all money in the world I wouldn't start using android phone, windows 8 or something like that.

LOL incredibly stupid.

Why are you surprised that I m using WinXP. There are people like me who are refusing to use Win7,8,Android or anything let's call it modern. I don't have touch screen phone and yes I have about 30 various Commodore computers.

LOL because its a thirteen year old operating system that is no longer supported by its manufacturer.

The real question should why are you surprised that new software doesn't work on your antiquated computer?  I personally think you are insane if you are expecting any developer to spend their time making their software compatible with that system.

WinXP is still widespread OS, and many people use it because of various reasons: some use XP as they like it more than the latest creations of microsoft (and there are real reasons to like the XP more), others use it on older PC's just because it runs much lighter/faster than Win7 on smaller RAM. The fact that there are newer things, it does not mean those newer things are better.

In any case, serious developers should support XP if they want their user base to be wider. You cannot force users to upgrade just because you don't want to spend time on old OS. You will just lose that user if you ignore him.

WinXP is still a widespread OS because people are too poor and/or stupid to upgrade.  If you want to run XP for some reason do it in with a VM.

You guys remember when the dev's stole hundreds of thousands of DIO from the community by saying they were going to deliver ASIC's?  Wasn't it odd how the people that bought the ASIC's didn't even seem to fuss over that?  Wasn't it strange that it remained listed on Bittrex without statement despite it's a blockchain that is not functioning at all.   Roll Eyes
