621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What conditions might cause you to stop gambling? on: November 08, 2023, 06:07:00 AM
You are stating the most obvious reasons, but there are a lot more... namely :

1. If you feel that you are cheated by the site. RTP (Return to Player) can be configured to take too much from the gamblers.
2. You might have withdrawal issues with the casino.
3. The chat facility might be too moderated and toxic.
4. The casino might have started without KYC verification and they suddenly ask for it.
5. You might become bored with gambling. (Some people need to be stimulated and gambling can become laborious and repetitive.)

So these are just some of the things that can cause you to stop gambling.... there are lots more reason.  Wink
622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bustabit Bankroll Profit Predictor on: November 08, 2023, 05:56:45 AM
Can you break down the formula that you use to make these calculations? It sounds a bit crazy that you can make more than 30% of the investment capital you deposited, back in profit in a year.  Roll Eyes

I am also getting security certificate warnings about your site, so I do not know if your SSL certificate are legit? In any way, it is nice to see those potential profits, but can we trust the calculations?

623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: at which point of a boxing match you consider cashingout? on: November 07, 2023, 06:08:56 AM
A lucky punch does not guarantee a win for the fighter in my opinion, yes it will put the other fighter on the back foot for a while... but most professional fighters can absorb that kind of pressure and it actually motivates them to fight harder.

I stay with my original bet and I hope for the best. In some fights one of the boxers will show more skills or they will look more fighting fit for the fight in the beginning... but the more professional fighter might be holding back to deliver a strong ending, when their opponent starts to get tired... so that strategy might fool some people to cash out early.   Grin
624  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Alfa Romeo F1 Team on: November 07, 2023, 05:59:37 AM
Did anyone else receive an email from Stake that level two verification is not compulsory?

Level two verification is not compulsory, but it will boost your rewards during the promotions that are done. As long as this email is not asking you to click on any link to do some kind of verification, then you should be fine.

A lot of the emails that are send out these days are attempted Phishing attacks, but they come with a section where they want you to click on something to login into your account... so that they can steal your login details.  Roll Eyes

Be Safe... do not click on links in email.  Wink
625  Economy / Economics / Re: Is energy prices about to shoot up? on: November 07, 2023, 05:51:33 AM
I think the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah are the spark for a full scale war in the region, with Iran following them when it happens and that will destabilize the whole middle east. Hezbollah is far more powerful than Hamas, so Israel will call in help from the US and that will escalate into a much bigger conflict.

The market will react because of the fear of a worst-case scenario, where a conflict in Israel magnifies throughout the region and affects global oil trade. A ripple in the pond ..always cause waves throughout the global markets and it just increase as the conflict escalate.

Iran asserts control over the passage of tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, a trading route that facilitates the transport of about 15% of global oil supply.  Roll Eyes
626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Plan to Make the Most of Your Bitcoin Investment Before the Halving? on: November 07, 2023, 05:32:01 AM
If you only started hoarding bitcoins now.... it might be too late, because you are buying during the recovery period and the price are increasing as we go towards the Halving event.

The peak will also not be on the date of the Halving, because people will start buying before the actual event happens. The hype cycle for the Halving start a few weeks before the Halving happens and that is when most people are buying.  Roll Eyes
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest 8k for passive income. on: November 07, 2023, 05:25:27 AM
Well, you are looking for a massive 45% yearly profit or interest on your money .....with Banks only giving under 10% if you are really lucky. A site like Freebitco.in is giving only 4% interest on bitcoins that are deposited there, so you are searching for the Goose that are laying gold eggs.  Grin

If it was that easy.... everyone would be invested in whatever is giving that much profit or interest... but it is not that easy. Let me know if you find anything "legal" that provide that kind of profit.  Wink
628  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the right age for financial stability? on: November 06, 2023, 06:17:24 AM
I am one of those people who believe long-term investment bring early wealth and I will stand by that. We know compound interest are very powerful and compound interest work miracles over long periods.

You should start working the moment when you leave school and you should study part-time to improve your knowledge and to build your CV. The youth of today seem to think it is normal for their parents to pay for them to study and also live in their parents home until they are 40... but that perception need to change.... YOU as an individual are responsible for your own life and YOU have to work to achieve that.

I worked to pay for my studies and I left the house, just after I left school... and I paid for everything I owned in life.  Wink
629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys believe in other people luck and try to copy them? on: November 06, 2023, 06:07:24 AM
Well, there are reality and then there are dreams.... and winning with these odds on any of your bets are almost impossible. The thing is, most people cling to those dreams and they play for that big multiplier win and that is what gambling is about.

You spend a lot of money, trying to hit that huge Jackpot..... or betting with crazy odds and winning it against all odds. I am not one of those people that are copying someone else's bets, because I feel you create your own luck.  Tongue
630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your own casino. on: November 06, 2023, 06:01:11 AM
Well, it is easy to own your own online casino... you basically buy a white label casino script and you fund it with some startup capital and then spend some money marketing it, but with all the competition out there... you might struggle to make a profit.

I would like to have my own casino, but I cannot justify taking 1000s of people's money to reward only a few people every day. My casino will be the one where I give 99.9% of the money back to the gamblers and I just take 0.1% to cover the expenses.  Tongue
631  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2023-11-02] Infowars Host Alex Jones Lost 10,000 Bitcoin in Max Keiser's Quiz on: November 06, 2023, 05:47:25 AM
Well, I think what Alex Jones did (said) about the things that happened and also what the supposed hidden agenda was for the kids in that school, was horrible and the parents should be angry at him for that.

On the other hand.... awarding a Billion dollar award to them was just stupid, because he will never be able to pay it back. I know he has about $10 000 000 worth of assets, so just take all he has worked for and be done with that.

Max made a good gesture and Alex Jones could have done more to get that money... but I think both of them were not serious about this publicity stunt.  Roll Eyes
632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What I did just to invest in Bitcoin. on: November 06, 2023, 05:26:04 AM
You can either be a Hero or you can go to zero with this decision, because this is something that are VERY risky. So, if the Bitcoin price goes to a new ATH (All-Time-High) you can sell them and buy back the land and also show a huge profit... or the Bitcoin price can crash and you will be seen as public enemy number one.  Tongue

I think you made the wrong decision at the correct time, because all indications are that the Bitcoin price will be going to $100 000+ soon. I hope these predictions are correct and that you will be the hero in your story.  Wink
633  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin help global refugees and migrants to relocate to new countries? on: November 04, 2023, 12:27:45 PM
If we overlook the facts of rules and regulations while crossing the borders then yeah I think it would be an amazing idea. For example, if I am in the conflict zone and I have a thousand bucks on me but I am moving to the conflict free zone which is another country and my currency isn't supported then it seems logical for me to convert all my assets to Bitcoin in the first country. Once I am free from it and moved to the new destination I could just either sell off my bitcoin and convert it back to the local currency. If we go with that sense then why not, Bitcoin can help me individually.

However, this doesn't seem to be possible as operated workflow by any government or entity for the refugee itself. I mean if any entity gets involved so as to help refugees with their finances using Bitcoin then they will have to declare every transaction. This way both sides will know Bitcoin is being used for such activities and they may have to follow all the rules and regulations of transacting it. Some may agree and some may not.

This could also give rise to money laundering under the name of refugee financing. So it depends whether it sindivudal choice Or an organizational level operation.

This is not money laundering.... because this money are not derived through illegal activities. Yes, people might be able to circumvent certain limitations that are placed on cross border transfers, but it is definitely not money laundering.

In any way.. the restriction are normally on the side of the country of origin.. because that country does not want the people to leave with their wealth. (taxes)  Roll Eyes
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Difference between crypto gamblers - regular gamblers on: November 04, 2023, 12:21:24 PM
The Brick n mortar (or land based) casinos use a lot of strategies to get people to bet more and also to gamble for a longer time. (Example : They do not have windows to the outside for instance, so that you do not keep track of the time)

They will also place the games with the best RTP in the areas where people do not want to sit... (busy areas or in corners) .... so your typical Crypto gambler are not influenced by these tricks.  Wink
635  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betfury will not pay the promised bounty for bugs found on: November 04, 2023, 12:15:32 PM
You know what you do in instances like this....

You exploit that bug.. until you acquire a lot more money than what they owe you for the reward, then you tell them to send you the reward or you keep the reward and you deposit the balance back to them.

I also reported a bug in a system for another casino and they never gave me a cent... they also say that they knew about the bug, but when I asked them why they did not fix it.... they simply stopped responding.  Roll Eyes
636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the odds of guessing someone's private key or seedphrase? on: November 04, 2023, 12:09:52 PM
Until quantum computers become a thing and is made available in the commercial markets, then it's nearly impossible to crack a private key. Even if an attacker wants to use brute force to gain access, the required efforts far outweighs the potential reward which is why no one really attempts it.

Also, it's worth noting that the SHA-256 cryptography algorithm hasn't been broken yet.

This is pretty significant... because most secure sites on the Internet use the same cryptography algorithm. (SSL, TLS, IPsec, SSH, and PGP) and Unix and Linux use SHA-256 for secure password hashing.  Wink

So, if someone or some kind of technology can break this.... then most servers and internet services are screwed. I also think they will target the juicy addresses first, so they will be the canary in the mine for us.  Grin
637  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2023-11-01] BBC - Man convicted after cryptocurrency robbery on: November 03, 2023, 06:12:23 AM
Yea, it reminds me of Jimmy Zhong  (who stole 50,000 bitcoins from the Silk Road) and then lived a life of luxury with his spoils... until someone broke into his apartment and stole some of his money. He then reported this break-in to the authorities and that put the focus on him.

The authorities then tricked him into showing them his Bitcoin wallet and they then hired Blockchain experts to trace his coins back to the Silkroad hack.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Jimmy Zhong was supposedly a clever hacker, but not clever enough not to be caught. Zhong are now serving a one-year sentence related to the theft of bitcoin from the Silk Road marketplace.
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stop the self entitlement claims on others gamblers winnings. on: November 03, 2023, 06:02:50 AM
Yes, you see this a lot in the online chat channels, where people quickly congratulate people on their large wins and then the passive begging starts... where these people demand some kind of reward from the winners, because they think the world owe them something.  Roll Eyes

People should just accept that not everyone can win big amounts at casinos and when someone wins.. they are not under any obligation to share those winnings. Imagine that you bet a combined total of say $100 000 in a period of a month and then suddenly you win $80 000.... do you think that person is in a profit? So, why should he or she share that win with other people?

Your JACKPOT is yours.... and you decide what you want to do with that... tipping or sharing is your own decision.  Angry
639  Economy / Gambling / Re: $$$ VIP CLUB STAKE.com LEVEL-UP & ROLLBIT RANK-UP RISK FREE STRATEGY$$$ on: November 03, 2023, 05:53:16 AM
So you are saying that the strategy are more geared towards the leveling up of the account and not to make 100% profits? So I hope this strategy does not have a fool proof method to win the house, because sites like this will "restrict" your account, if you constantly win.  Roll Eyes

A restricted account can also lead to a "locked" account.... as we have seen in some instances that were reported on this forum.. from gamblers winning too much with accounts on those sites.  Roll Eyes

I know Sports betting on Stake is way more affective to level your account, than say Dice with a 98% win chance.  Roll Eyes
640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how secure are your telling fellow wo/man about this forum and bitcoin on: November 03, 2023, 05:44:17 AM
Your English are not very good, so I am not 100% sure what your concerns are about this platform? Anyone can access this forum, but some countries ban access through firewalls to access the site. (We have complete freedom of speech here, so some countries see that as a threat)

So, if this platform are banned in your country.. then I will not share this information with anyone... because you do not know who to trust. You are free to share information that you gathered here, but you should not reveal your source.

I hope this is what you are looking for.... right?
