621  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time for that Long? on: October 13, 2018, 10:19:35 AM
Its just normal scenario in the crypto market when the prices go bearish it may take too long to get recovered for instance 2013 where the time take for revoering almost two years so it may even repeat again to reach new all time high.Is not that much long in my opinion though.
622  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Dedication needed to support crypto community? on: October 13, 2018, 07:17:07 AM
Bitcointalk already doing great support to the crypto community for helping the people to understand what is the basic knowledge about the bitcoin when they are at newbie to the intensive level of technical explanation to the coins so we need to spread the availability of bitcointalk to the people who wants to know about crypto currencies.
623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this sound realistic? on: October 12, 2018, 08:59:23 PM
Ok! I was actually trying to get reasons why people get addicted to gambling which we all know is more self inflicted. However, I came up with this theory for someone who may actually want to gamble and then would not want to get addicted based on trying to fix their mentality about it and I would like to seek your opinion on what you think about it, if it can actually end up working for any gambler or not.

The theory is;
If you want to gamble, see it more like you are paying the casino or gambling platform to have some fun (just like you do to go watch some movies in cinema), which if you are paying for anything, you are not meant to expect it back. The good thing however is that, you can actually end up being paid more for having that fun if you get lucky, but the chances of seeing that happen is pretty slim. In that light, if you cannot actually live with doing what I said above, then you should not be gambling at all.

Does this sound like a mentality that can help anyone understand what they are in for if they indeed want to gamble or something even those who are tending towards addiction can set their mind to so as not to get into that deep gambling hole that is hard to come out from?
Actually more people knows that winning from gambling is very slim but still they want an easy way to become rich person. If people don't want to get addicted they need to limit themselves and understand that this is just entertainment, they are spending their money to get fun.But still we can't convince the people they do what they want so better save ourselves from any addiction is the best we can do.
This has become big problem from people. They don’t want to lose this option because they want to earn easy money. But yahoo know the interesting thing that is true in so many cases, people do know that this game is hilarious and detrimental results can be made. They know they wouldn’t be earning any little penny from this game but still I ant sure why this is happening.
When they are ready to lose their money to get more money which is the first mistake of the people because gambling is not like investing or doing business so where we cannot make money from our skills we just need to rely on the luck. Its okay lets decide their fate by themselves.
624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you say is Bitcoin's biggest weakness as an industry? on: October 12, 2018, 07:41:59 PM
Biggest weakness is its new technology,it is hard for the people to understand how the bitcoin works and it is the thing restricting from mainstream adoption along with the volatility/Then the transaction speed is the biggest backlog of the bitcoin which may not be the case with some other crypto currencies.
625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My experience in the cryptocoins on: October 12, 2018, 06:03:07 PM

I've had technical knowledge of the internet for many years and I've heard of Bitcoin in the early days, but for some time I did not have that curiosity that was characteristic of an early adopter nerd. This was a high cost of opportunity as Bitcoin's growth is impressive, especially in 2017.

There is one side of me that sees skeptically and another that can see the disruptive proposal of the coin. For about 3 months I was watching the dynamics and signing some videos on Youtube. I signed the Fernando Ulrich channel and read some texts to understand how it worked: Buy / sell through an Exchance, Possibility to move to a wallet to "save" in safety and all other possibilities (trade, etc).

About 2 months ago I decided to try it and so far things are going well. At the end of September I was able to buy for USD 3,800 and then started to move towards USD 7,000, reaching USD 7,800 and then dropping to USD 7,200. I saw this fall as an opportunity to buy and I got more $ 10,000.00 for this price since my goal was to have at least 1 BTC. And to show that nothing in this market is predictable, the day after my purchase at USD 7200 it drops to USD 5800. It needs to have a stomach! But I looked again as an opportunity and went to buy more to reach my goal of having 1BTC. As it was a weekend, I had to wait for Monday to do a TED for Exchange (you do not need to talk about why Bitcoin is causing it in the global financial market as it is 24hrs). I got on the second to take to the Exchange and unfortunately that low was already at USD 6,400 and three days later had already risen again to $ 7,200.

I'm enjoying this joke and it's that maxim ... Only invest in BTC what you're willing to lose. I do not invest in BTC by expectation but by the promising and disruptive future! Everything is an ideological issue and I am comfortable with this movement.
My experience in crypto is very much likely to yours. As I also started my journey in crypto very late in 2017 and than when updated myself with all technical knowledge,I started trading in this market and believe me my first investment was in that fall of BTC in a believe that this is an opportunity to make some money but yaa the ending is not as good as yours but I still managed to get my money back and that's the beauty of this market as it gives equal chance to everyone for redemption.
The one thing we need to understand that the profits of yours is actually loss of some investor so this will be just based on the speculations so the one who can hold the crypto coins much longer maybe able to hold the more profits still we are at early stage and we can bag huge profits by holding the cryptos.
626  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading from a mobile application on Android. on: October 12, 2018, 04:55:50 PM
Hello community. I recently started trading with Android on Binance, everything works simple and clear. Does anyone trade with Android on other exchanges? what exactly? share your experiences. Thank you.
I don't suggest anyone to trade from the mobile device where the chance of making errors is highly possible while depositing and withdrawing our coins so all our funds will be gone and also sometimes we may enter the wrong selling or buying prices which could end up badly so if you are a regular trader you need to use on desktop or Imac.
627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Versus Traditional Gambling on: October 12, 2018, 12:51:39 PM
Traditional gambling does have a lot of crowds in it, there are many types of traditional gambling and not just casinos, because any type in real life can be performed at traditional gambling and it will gradually be negatively affected by local security parties if gambling is prohibited in that country . It's very different from online gambling that we can do with just one click and we can gamble calmly wherever we are.
If gambling is prohibited in your country then online gambling also prohibited if you are doing that means you are breaking the laws which can be punishable act if you found but in online crypto gambling we can hide our identity until we bag big rewards if we are converting the big rewards from crypto gambling site it may alarm the security so if it is prohibited then better leave any form of gambling.
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which do you prefer, bank or crypto? on: October 12, 2018, 10:27:19 AM
I think the bank is safe and will not be stolen if you do not lose your ATM or VISA card. Crypto is also very secure and it is unlikely that a hacker can steal your money if you do not provide a wallet or access any bad links. But I always encourage people to send a bank, it is very safe, convenient and easy to use in life
Actually bank is not much safe and the hacker can breach the bank accounts too and it happened lot of times in the banking history so if someone want to store huge money they need to pick the secured bank which cost lot more to maintain or just pick the crypto currencies which will be very cheap by just buying hardware wallets.
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think abot ico new projects? on: October 12, 2018, 09:27:18 AM
Dears,
Alot of new ico projects every day.
Do you think all will make thier way to success.
And what elrments needed for aproject to succeed.

Absolutely not all the projects is going to be succeed like bitcoin even most of them will fail at the ICO level due to not enough investors to their project. If a project needs to get succeed then it needs to have a unique idea from all other crypto currencies and also best advertisement is important for a project to get succeed.
630  Economy / Economics / Re: We can totally eradicate poverty if we TRULY want to. on: October 11, 2018, 06:29:26 PM
Too true! Many impoverish people in the community are actually the most hard working people in that communit. All they lack is the opportunity to earn more that what they have. Maybe it is because of lack of education or seed money but the fact of the matter is they don't need hand outs, they need opportunities.
Well, life generally is not about hard work, and it is all about being smart. Absolutely, for a country that is ridden with poverty, it is usual to always notice there is always a problem from the leadership, the level of corruption in such country and the unavailability of things that are necessary for the citizens to thrive and succeed and in such kind of settlement, it is always hard to say eradicating poverty would be easy unless a lot of changes are made most especially with such leadership.

Poverty is present everywhere. You can meet people living under the bridge even in New-York, and they are not necessarily unlucky with their whole lives. Corruption is also omnipresent, and it looks like you can't eradicate poverty (or alleviate it substantially) with the help of those who facilitated it in the first place ("the leadership"). The implication is that we should first eradicate corruption, but this is even less possible than eradicating poverty, even though it is something less vague and more concrete.

IIRC that's the exact course of action that Singapore took, which eventually led this country to become ranked with the 3rd highest GDP per capita.
In singapore that is possible because of the good political leaders and very few population rates so they made such a huge growth in very short term but even in Singapore there will be poor people/In country like China or USA where population is very high and much parts were corrupted in government side so even if we want to make measures to avoid the poor it will not be completely possible.
631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto exchanges not helping Bitcoin! on: October 11, 2018, 05:43:12 PM
It is true that exchanges are not helping the bitcoin towards the mass adoption in direct way but they also have some contribution towards it like if bitcoin is crypto currency which has value but not accepted as form of payment so if there is no exchange then it won't be this much popularity for bitcoin so it helping to make trust towards the bitcoin.
632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Years From Now in Crypto? on: October 11, 2018, 04:21:46 PM
What would be your thoughts and prediction to what will happen in 5 years from now in Crypto?
More people will be talking about the crypto currencies but that time also the crypto will be in adoption phase.
Do you see higher values?
Yes,the prices will be much higher when compared to the current value.
Do you see less projects?
Not really,if there is more need for crypto then there will be more project.
Do you see a merger of many projects?
I hope more people will come to know about the projects so they will be lot of better projects.
Tighter Regulation?
yes.
More acceptance?
Hope so.
Society in general?
More people will come to know what is cypto currency.
633  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to be A Good Trader? [new] on: October 11, 2018, 08:53:15 AM
You have to explore the trading discussion where you can learn different kind of stories by successive and failed traders and also tips and strategy methods followed by the people which will really help you though than reading an article.

My suggestion will be "never invest more than you can afford to lose" and "buy low sell high"
634  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you making money in this bear market? on: October 11, 2018, 05:36:52 AM
Most of us that come into cryptocurrencies trading have this in mind that when bitcoin is in bearish trend we are loosing money and that is why we are seeing thread of loses in this bearish market.  Few know that you can trade usd/bitcoin and make money in this bearish trend all you just need to do is change your analysis from what you are used to to what is happening now and you will make money.
Surely we can make decent amount of money even in this bear market (maybe a stable market for now) because the prices were oscillating in that region so if we can follow the price movements then we can identify when we have to buy and sell but it will not be much effective for the low capital traders because the profits will be less than one percentage.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who actually invests in ICO's? on: October 09, 2018, 01:31:33 PM
I know that most of todays traders are here just to make a quick buck, they dont care about the project, or the idea behind the project, they just want "PUUUPM" and "MOOOON". And with all the scam ICO's that we had in the past( my personal favorite BitConneeeeect) people have lost faith in ICO's. But still new ICO's and new ideas are being published every day, I've seen on some projects that i'm following that they reached their soft or hardcap, but what triggers my mind is: Who is investing in those ICO's, what is the one thing that lures the todays investors into investing in a certain project?
This world has 7 billion people so do you think that few projects per day will not get enough investors? In this world the best form of money making is not doing usiness it is the investment where we don't do much work other than research so lot of people are ready to invest if they think that project value will be more but now a days lot of projects were worth none so they are not reaching the cap value.
636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What problems cryptocurrency will face in the near future? on: October 09, 2018, 10:13:23 AM
Scammers are the big threat to the crypto currency we can see that in 2018 lot of ICO projects were turned into scams this may kill the trust of the bitcoin and other crypto currencies so people need to evaluate the projects before investing which can helpful for the people to avoid scam and save their money.

I disagree.
when ICOs scam, when altcoins show their true nature as shitcoins,... that kills the trust in ICOs and shitcoins. it has nothing to do with bitcoin. people can see that bitcoin is continuing to be the same as it has always been without diverging from the main goals of it such as being a decentralized payment system. one must be very ignorant to lose trust in bitcoin just because some ICO scammed him!
But for a common man who don't know what is ICO,altcoin or bitcoin when people saying that they got scammed by investing on a crypto project will affect the bitcoin too since that person will get afraid to invest on bitcoin too because he will think that this is also a crypto currency so he may get scammed?!

638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: goodbye fiat and USD. on: October 09, 2018, 05:42:09 AM
I read the local news, and there is several articles that made me interesting, a few weeks ago, the mobile version of the Bitcoin wallet bitcoin platform decided to eliminate the conversion of bitcoin currencies with USD. then replaced with Satoshi.

the decision was taken to eliminate dependence on fiat currency. because bitcoin capability if converted to fiat, will interfere.

developer samourai wallet says "farewall fiat" or "goodbye fiat".
We still comparing the price of bitcoin with USD,Isn't it?

All the people who were speculating only see the crypto currency interms of fiat and the most common wallet like coinbase and blockchain.info wallets are comparing the holdings with USD or other local currencies but that is a good initiative which can help the people not to panic sometimes.
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Might Be Used for payment in Tokyo Olympics in 2020 on: October 08, 2018, 01:13:41 PM
It will be no wonder if the crypto currencies were accepted as payment for Olympics in 2018 because Japan is a place where crypto currency is accepted everywhere when compared to the other countries but is there any people who aware of crypto currencies there because it is okay with the Japan people but most of the foreigners don't know about cryptos yet so advertisement needed before the tournament starts will make the difference.
640  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin not the choice of criminals anymore on: October 08, 2018, 08:12:54 AM
This is one of the reasons why some governments are imposing regulations on cryptocurrency exchanges because some lawless elements particularly in the online world are using bitcoins in their illegal activities. With the intensified monitoring and tracking by authorities that involves in anti cyber crime operation, many cyber crimes can be prevented successfully. Some FUDsters have been spreading fake news on the use of bitcoin by some criminals to make bitcoin as a bad cryptocurrency.
Darkweb is the place where most of the bitcoin transactions taken place,we need to agree that but the governments intention of regulating the crypto currencies just to make revenues that's all they are not interested in preventing those criminals because 10 years back they have full control over the money but did any country have crime free? So governments can't control the criminals because of the corruption.
