621  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: July 30, 2022, 11:58:46 PM
Balak ko bumili ng isang team, not for earning purposes but just like to treat it like any other games na nilalaro ko currently.

Since nawala ako sa circulation and behind na sa mga updates ng game mula ng tumamlay ang hype na ito, may I know how much it cost now to build a decent team? Or kahit di na build basta iyong meta team sa ngayon?

I know it's about strategy but just want to take advantage of low cost Axie teams today unlike before na di abot-kamay ang presyo.

623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 29, 2022, 11:53:58 PM
The Nets would have be the winner such trade, imho.

But still, they declined. Brooklyn Nets wants more.

They already got some good offers from other teams and still ended up declining those offers. The longer they keep on waiting for a good offer might result in not receiving good offers instead in the next few days, weeks, or months.

But the good thing about this trade drama with Kevin Durant?

Some players now know that they are willing to be given up by their respective teams even how good and loyal they are.
624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Threshold of Loss in Gambling on: July 29, 2022, 11:48:14 PM
Look, I have to disagree with you only on the part where you say that players tend to stop playing when they reach their loss limit, I believe that many players unfortunately tend to bet more and more as they lose in order to try to cover their losses.

Yes, this is always the case that happened to the majority of gamblers.

Setting up a budget doesn't really work since they are just tempting themselves to gamble more.

If they win, they will still continue to gamble since they are lucky. If they lose, they will still continue to gamble to recover their recent losses. Whatever the result of their gambling session, regardless of the situation, whether they winning or losing, they will still continue to gamble as their adrenaline tells them to do so.

Setting up a budget per session is not an effective way to minimize loss. It's better to force ourselves to have self-discipline when to stop.
625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: July 28, 2022, 11:41:51 PM
@ 4.10 that's going to attract more gamblers and fans to bring out decent amount of money to bet for GGG, a lot of people still believe that even GGG is no longer on his prime,

That was good odds. GGG having @4.10 is something unusual even though he is up again the prime Canelo Alvarez. I hope for more increased odds while the fight is approaching. Still, a long way to go and there should be odds adjustment at both.

But in any case, taking @4.10 odds should be considered picking now.

Aside from that, others maybe will try to support GGG for the last time just in case he will retire if he loses to Canelo in this fight.
626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 28, 2022, 11:39:12 PM
It's just it seems that Spence Jr. is somehow afraid to fight the current Crawford because he's playing a chase game while hiding from the reasons that they are on the talks now.

Maybe before but seems to me that Spence is not afraid now. I mean, why afraid? They will really meet each other no matter what.

For me, Spence is not dodging Crawford before for that only reason. Spence is like Mayweather that knows how to play business in boxing while he put his title and record for the fight, he will earn big money in return. They will fight this year that's for sure. Money should not be the reason.

We should wait patiently for updates.
627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 28, 2022, 11:34:14 PM
Though it will be depends on how both teams will perform and how they will handle the pressure, NLEX as if it's their last game while Magnolia will avoid going to do-or-die game..

I think even NLEX will think that their upcoming game is a really important one and they will force to get the win, they won't really stand a chance on how Magnolia is doing. NLEX already gave their best in that first game. This team is no match against the much improved Magnolia.

Sorry to say that NLEX will be done later and Magnolia will be the second team that will advance to Semis to face the waiting Talk and Text which advanced first because of the wild performance from Mikey Williams.

A great match-up compared to NLEX vs TNT. We want a good match-up in the semis.
628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rise of Streamers in Online Gambling on: July 28, 2022, 11:27:15 PM
I find there video streaming very encouraging most of the time because I feel like I can win too everytime they are winning.

I understand that feeling. I watched a gambling stream before because of recommendations. While watching, the streamer is always Lucky and always hitting good multipliers on its session. What luck! I decide to read the video caption and details and follow all the links there as I also want to experience how lucky I am. I already forget the site's name and the streaming platform where I watched it.

After registering and playing on that site, the result is horrible. Not even a chance to hit good multipliers. I was tempted because of that streamer's big luck and now I learned my lesson not just to follow easily. That was way back I'm still new to gambling, especially at slot games, and the reason why I easily hooked up is because of my lack of experience in gambling.
629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If There's No Casino Signature Will The Gambling Board Still Be The Same on: July 28, 2022, 11:21:17 PM
The stat will go down but not that drastically that it will be 50% lower than the stats we are seeing right now as long as there are other bounties that let you post in the gambling section like what I'm doing right now I'm on an altcoin bounty campaign but I'm still posting here because there is no restriction on my post in the gambling section as long as it is within topic, the stat will go down because of members who just post here for the sake of money.

Since it's not a mandatory requirement to post on the gambling section at some bounty signature campaign, only those users who really like to discuss gambling-related discussions will post here. We should see gambling posters from the bounty signature campaign as well but I don't see that much or maybe because the weekly signature campaign is dominating the boards.

But at least we should see posts from bounties here since requirements to join bounties are much easy to compare to weekly and there are lots of users who don't meet those criteria and ended up in bounty campaigns.

Talking about the stats, it would not be the same but not that down either. Gambling discussion is one of the interesting sections here in the forum.
630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 25, 2022, 11:40:41 PM
I don't think it will be that bad since its Brown and draft picks. Yes he's an important part of the team but replacing him with KD would not totally disrupt the team rhythm since the Celtics still have the role players. This could actually play out well for the team in the short term. Tatum will most likely continue to be the team facilitator because we know Durant isn't a ball hog and has no problem moving without the ball.

Brooklyn Nets are not dumb to just take Brown and the future draft picks.

They want to maximize as much as they can the good trade package they can get from Kevin Durant. It's not just Brown but for sure Nets are also asking for more which includes the key players of the Boston Celtics and might be, Jayson Tatum too.

I hope Nets won't get a trade package deal to trade Durant. This is to give Durant a problem and a lesson as well. If that happened, Durant will play on the Nets even he don't like it or not. Or the worst case, if the Nets didn't find any good trade package but are eager to trade Durant, they will end up trading him with a small package.

As soon as the Nets say taytum Celtics are hanging up.  Taytum is the future of Boston basketball even if they get Durant.  Giving up taytum in any package is going to make them a worse team.  I can see brown going and a couple picks.  Durant has 4 years on his contract its not like they only get em for a year or 2.  Someone is going to have to shed a lot of assets if they want him.

Even Celtics are willing to give up Brown and a couple of future draft picks, that's not enough for the Nets to agree with trading Durant. I'm sure the Nets want Jayson Tatum too. The reason I say that future draft picks are not a priority for the Nets since they already even gave up their own draftees when they signed Durand and Irving.

The Nets clearly want a big name too and Brown doesn't even on the same tier as Durant. Let's wait what will happened.

Will Ginebra be able to bounce back after that big loss? I think I'm going to bet on them all the way, if they will be a slight underdog, I don't mind taking the ML line.

Yes, bouncing back is always possible. For sure, they already know what to do and won't allow Meralco to take another win or else, goodbye.

Ginebra is used in playing pressure games already. Unusual to see LA Tenorio will have a bad night for 2 consecutive games.

While they are prepared next game, Meralco Bolts are also the same as well. The series is unpredictable.

What a surprising outcome between the Ginebra and Meralco.

Actually, it's not surprising. Ginebra is a beatable team and Meralco is not that totally an underdog. Don't mind the standings.

633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: taking out a loan for a sports bet (UPDATE) + fixed match on: July 25, 2022, 11:27:16 PM
Also, lending money to loan on a probably sure win game isn't really a bad decision if the person will be able to repay it a later date but doesn't have a money at the moment. However, it is wrong and worst decision if you don't have any way of repayment and only trusting that you will win on it.

You are right that it's alright to take a loan if that person has the capability to repay it later.

Based on OP's story looks like he's on the side of taking a loan and the repayment will come from the result of his bet. A risky thing to do as his hope will come from gambling. In the worst situation, if that bet is lost, how OP can repay the loan.

OP is just adding a problem over a problem. Not a good idea to take a loan in his situation where no other source of income is available.
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 25, 2022, 11:22:24 PM
Not sure though what his association with Floyd as they have been seen in public together?

Maybe Crawford and Mayweather Jr. have an agreement that they don't want to disclose in public. Way back a few months, Mayweather told the public that if the fight will happen officially, he's the one that will announce it first and only believes in him, not another announcement by anyone.

Adding to that, he also said that he/they will promote the fight. Mayweather won't just promote the fight without any advantages or benefits to him. He won't be called "Money" for nothing. We can now assume that Mayweather holds the right of promotion to Crawford.
635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling in Moderation, Pros can out weigh its Cons in Financial and Health? on: July 25, 2022, 11:15:26 PM
Regarding what you say about sports betting, you are right, for me betting on sports the chances of winning are much stronger than winning in a casino game,

Aside from that, sports betting is not just gambling but entertaining us well especially if we are familiar with the sports and to league itself.

The gambling part is a bonus for me since the sports I always bet on are the sports that I really liked since my childhood. Now that I can afford to do gambling, I step and advance a bit to take advantage of my favorite sports which might bring good profit to me.

But of course, gambling is gambling regardless if it's casino games or sports betting. Don't engage if anyone doesn't understand the risks.
636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 24, 2022, 10:40:43 PM
So that is where the problem for GGG is, he has been robbed, then try to chase Canelo for years and now he has another chance again, but the age though. Canelo waited for many years before agreeing to a trilogy.

A good strategy is to wait for the opponent's retirement age before accepting the fight, nice play by Canelo.

If the trilogy happened right away after their rematch, Canelo might experience kissing the canvass because of GGG punch. Not expecting GGG will still be the same compared to their 1st match and rematch but it's expected that he will give Canelo's boxing career another difficult fight.

Not expecting a Knock-Out win from GGG but I want to hear the announcer saying GGG will be the winner at the end and the referees raising his hands leaving Canelo silent in his corner thinking about how he lost that fight.
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 24, 2022, 10:34:16 PM
This should be a great match up and probably an opportunity for Meralco to beat Ginebra but of course this will not an easy game for them as we all know, Ginebra is still a good team and they always like a contender for the title here. Meralco should think for a better strategy, and focus more because this will be one of their hardest games in order for them to reach the top. This is a good rivalry, and the fans really like this one.

Having a 1-win lead against one of the favorites in the league, Ginebra should be a big advantage for Meralco. An upset is also possible to happen.

In that game, some of Ginebra's main players and starters do have a good contributions but still lose to Meralco.

Meralco always wants revenge on Ginebra as they can't defeat this team in an import conference. Now that it's between the All-Filipino lineup, their chances of winning are likely in this series and put Ginebra on Boracay. Waiting for their next game.
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: July 24, 2022, 10:28:21 PM
Exactly, this should be enough that he will motivated and bring the glory to PH boxing again.

He was not supposed to lose in the first fight, however,  maybe he was just having a bad night that time that he can't recover and seems to be out of tune against Martinez. Fernando is tough no doubt but I think if Ancajas will focus and not look for that knock out punch, he can outslug him late and could win in the scorecard.

Being motivated is good but it only fuels his will to fight but not his overall strength. Being just brave, courageous, and determined, are all useless if his body can't keep up with the physical blows he will encounter in the fight. He should focus on improving his sturdiness to make his withstanding skills much stronger while working out for a much strong punch or any offensive type.

Being defeated by the underdog in their first match takes a heavy effect on Ancajas.

We can't disregard what happened to him in their first match. That needs lots of improvements for the same result not to happen again.

639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking to start an online casino on: July 24, 2022, 10:15:29 PM
You wouldnt really be getting some advice since they do know that it could really be a potential competitor for them thats why giving out some hints and ideas then it would really be out of their interest.  Grin

Therefore, OP can't find any technical help here but rather just advice and suggestions. In any business, there should be already knowledgeable about it before building it. But were to gain that knowledge for those zero knowledge? By putting lots of time into studying any related fields regarding that.

OP needs to explore the right person for it by doing some research that was also based on his country or a place nearby. With the budget and capital mentioned by OP a few pages before, it can be used as cost to form a sponsorship. Much better if it's nearby to OP so they can set up physical meetings to discuss everything from scratch.
640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This clearly damage the gambling. on: July 24, 2022, 09:42:26 PM
I do think sports is a big business and there is always betting behind every match, anyone who controls the "business" and the result of the game can earn a huge amount of money.  I believe there is behind the scene betting of millionaires in each local match event(private betting).  So if a certain group can ensure the result of the game then they can have huge benefits from this illegal fixing of the game matches.

You are correct that sports are a big business but if there's a series of continuous fixed matches on a specific league and there's no action for a change, there will be no more good money on that league as doing business on that shitty league is not worth it.

There will be lots of investors that might withdraw their support of that league as the damage is already there. Few supporters, few revenues.

I just can't wonder why players are participating in those fixed matches risking their player profile and reputation. They might also be permanently banned from all leagues and their career will now be ended for good.
