Woohoo, Clark Moody is running again!

Did the dollar symbol in the tables in the original post change to pound symbols recently? £180.55 not $180.55? Or have they always been like that?

Wild week ahead...
Loaded hath spoken..... lol I can't believe no-one else noticed that, me included

Hi. I tested higuys' build on an iMac running 10.8.3 and it runs fine. The only real problem I have is that the memory usage is very high, about 1.7G, so it takes a big bite out of the maximum of 4G I can install on this iMac. I remember reading somewhere in this forum that optimisation is something that is being worked on. Is the memory usage likely to drop significantly?

what happened to the ask? ]https://i.imgur.com/JVa9ici.png Asks going up. Prepare for the crash! Well it's crashing up at the moment

Hi. Yesterday the site was loading normally. Today Sophos virus protection blocked the site with this message:
20130404 190954 Access to location "bitcoin.clarkmoody.com" was blocked for user 20130404 190954 Virus/spyware 'Troj/JSDldr-F' has been detected at "bitcoin.clarkmoody.com"
Is this something that has slipped in through an external link? Or nothing to be concerned about? (My system is not one listed as vulnerable to this btw)

Do we downgrade Bitcoin on this list after a significant sell-off? Because right now we're sitting somewhere between Macedonia and Chad again
|
|
|
Is that why everyone's selling? Threat of an EMP strike taking out the network?

|

Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia fall. It's been a big day

Goodbye Botswana, Nicaragua here we come edit: 'twas a brief visit but enjoyable all the same. Next is Kyrgyzstan

Just curious.
I come into work some days thinking, holy crap...I made more money last night than I will make all day at work.
My revelation hit me the first time the price jumped $10 in a day

Virwox is a rip off. They wont let you trade in anything but units of 1 or greater. They fucked me once and I swore I would never use them again.
That seems to have changed recently. They now allow 2 decimal places. The fees are still a killer though
|
|
|
its kinda hard, because just because the ask at Virwox is ~$101 doesnt mean the fish are biting.
It's not only the ask at VirWox that is ~$101, it's not even $101, because the 256 SLL you mentioned is also just a bid, if you actually want to buy now, you don't get SLL at 256 (plus you have to pay enormous fees). Not to mention the low BTC-volume. Questionable if it's worth all the hazzle. Yup, fees are 3.9% + 50SLL (2.9% + 50SLL for market orders). Really expensive

Current ask on BitNZ is NZ$138 (US$114.50). High over the last few days touched NZ$140 (US$116). There's just no easy way to get small amounts of fiat onto Mt Gox in a timely manner from NZ unfortunately

Nice buy up to 94.97 94.98
