621  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Problem with signing messages in Electrum "error (false, x)" on: May 11, 2017, 05:55:39 PM
The problem hasn't been solved yet. Earlier I had signed messages with electrum without any problem, but today when i was in an urgent need to sign message, it showed this error : "(False,0)"
Please fix this asap !

The OP's post is from 2016. You say it isn't fixed yet so does that mean you've updated to the latest version of electrum? Because there have been a lot of bug fixes since `16
Oh thanks ! I updated it just now and the sign feature is working perfectly now !
I want to ask is there any auto-update feature to avoid such bugs, because earlier too I had to manually download the update.
622  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to sign a message?! on: May 11, 2017, 05:29:36 PM
How can I sign a message in the new blockchain? It seems I can't find a sign button there,I've only seen the verify one. It's not in the manage options.
By blockchain I assume you are referring to blockchain.info

To sign a message, go to the "Settings" tab on left, Click on "Addresses", Click on "More Options" in front of your required address, Choose "Sign Message" .

I think you don't know what signing a message means. No problem ! Visit this guide here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0
and then post your address along with the correct signature.

What error do you get?
After long time I got in a need to sign signatures yesterday and this is the error that keeps on popping up everytime I try to sign message. I saw few others are also experiencing the same issue.

625  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is that possible to earn bitcoin with Youtube Channel? on: May 11, 2017, 03:49:25 PM
We often earn money from youtube channel by showing ads from adsense and suppose if someone want to earn bitcoin by showing ads on their youtube videos then is there any alternative ad network which provide ads for youtube channel?
Youtube monetization is linked to adsense and there is currently no way to cash out the earnings to bitcoins.
There is another way to earn bitcoins by youtube videos. You could provide an affiliate link to a casino or such website and earning referral earnings from it.

Update: the airdrop happened yesterday.

Some statistics
I got nobody with a high balance to sign up through me.
I got one signature in PM, from a clueless Brand New who apparently thought he would get free money after signing from an empty address.
I did motivate several people with considerable balances to join the Byteball giveaway, so at least I did my part to create awareness about Byteball.
One of these gave me 10% of his earnings, which motivates me to keep this thread alive.

This giveaway continues
Same rules, new deadline: June 9. To join: sign a message as explained at the start of this thread.
I saw this thread yesterday and wanted to take part in it, but due to some error in the electrum wallet I was not able to sign message using any of my wallets. I wish the error in the wallet to be updated before June to take part.

Same here. My activity is sitting at 924 now and hopefully my turn will be pretty soon. Smiley.

I don't really care about it until today when I noticed my activity is 900+ already lol.

Hopefully my name will not fall into the top ten of this list. Somehow, it might be great to be in the top ten too.

You might not be aware as you were last online 11 days ago,

Congratulations jacktheking on becoming legendary, your wish has been granted !
633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use Social Media for Bitcoin on: May 07, 2017, 03:27:41 AM
Happy to hear that more people are interested in the cryptocurrencies. I also posted a link long back regarding bitcoins but only one friend responded.
We talked in person too and he too joined the bitcoin world. At that time we both were newbies and just did faucets. Now he rarely comes online, so I have the connection.
I believe that if we post on social media about bitcoins increasing price, our profit earning story, etc that many people would get tempted to use this currency.
634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: May 07, 2017, 03:17:21 AM
I think offering your skills on this forum is the fastest way to earn bitcoins while doing what you enjoy. Signature campaigns are like complementary earnings where the bitcoins are awarded while you get to know more about crypto. Many people recommend trading too, but I have never used it and I am not aware of its working.
635  Other / Meta / [Suggestion] Welcome PM for newbies on: May 06, 2017, 12:59:24 PM
I am seeing that as more and more newbies continue to join the forum, they start posting the same posts "How can I earn bitcoins", "New to bitcoins",etc. So I think that there should be an automated personal message that would be sent to new registered accounts, having link to important stickied and such posts' answers.
636  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signed up for virtual debit but no USA option help on: May 06, 2017, 12:47:29 PM
For as far as I believe that there is no restriction as such on using your virtual credit card. The country thing may be the places where they deliver the physical credit cards. You may try using the virtual credit card details for adsense. If it didn't work, just contact their customer help.

this is my address

1PXk3jQPfk9XGRqDxYM1zKQG311pYnyNf7
You need to sign a message with this address to prove ownership of this address as posting just an address would not be beneficial in  future if you want it as proof . Your wallet can sign the message.
640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you convince people into you using Bitcoin? on: May 05, 2017, 03:53:36 PM
I would inspire by friends and relative to get into bitcoin first of all by showing off the profits that I had made in recent months due to increase in prices of bitcoins. This would increase their curiosity as money is loved by all. Then I would tell them the basics of using it and open up a new wallet.
I would send few bits for them to try out and introduce them to this wonderful forum.
