Nice coins! But why not gamble by starting at face value?  Tongue

I think I am the only one who starts them @ face value around here. Everyone else is scared of a low sale price it seems  Shocked

I think he is selling them on behalf of HardBTC.

These ones are mine rather than HardBTCs, but whatever the sum of the sale price is, is the agreed buy price for a trade I have set up. Hence me not being able to have a low value start bid

It's a fair starting price. The sale price should be higher assuming there are a couple of folks wanting

If that happens the starting price won't have mattered

If it doesn't .... Then the starting price made sense

But yes they are nice coins

I have a few available
629  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Alitin, Titan (funded) and Lealana (buyer funded) coins on: May 06, 2016, 10:55:57 AM
I have dealt with cryptodechange directly outside of the forum a number of times over the past few years. Always very prompt, and reliable, never had any issues.

I have also confirmed via email outside of the forum that this is indeed posted from the legit cryptodechange.

Myself > Mike Caldwell > Howard Kesselman > Buyer

is Howard Kesselman shipping from EU?
Because I really don't want to pay VAT (I'll ask a refund if I'll pay for that).

Elianite is in Canada, bithalo is in US. Either way VAT would have been applicable when recieving into the EU, from one or the other ? Wouldnt have mattered if it was a single copy direct to end buyer, or bulk shipping to an EU distributor - VAT would be applied when coming in, at some point.

I am expecting it when recieving into the UK. Only potential saving grace would be a low value declared (like $40) to dip under the trigger

Whats that on the bottom of the B on the non holo side ?
633  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Interest Check - Entire Bitcoin Collection Sale on: May 03, 2016, 10:48:47 AM
Big (ticket) collection for a relative newbie on the forum.

Is this an Alt account, or are you just new on here ?

I would say you need to split it up due to both the high price, and your newbie status
634  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Casascius 2011 Double Error Coin on: May 01, 2016, 07:26:38 PM
I think this kind of "trick" is used to boost the price.
I really can't understand the denomination "double error" ... Are we sure that all old casascius have printed correctly the holograms? (0.001 mm can be a "double error" too maybe?)

And why only 5, who can prove it ?

My concern is that there isn't a list of the first bits for the 5 double errors. If the coin addresses are not known, then how can it be known that there were actually 5 ?

Elianite may have spoken with Mike about these coins, before they were added to his original casascius guide. He may have some additional detail not in the ebook perhaps ....

This has to be a mistake...   Shocked

Same mistake here then ....
639  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Feeler]ANACs Grading Redistributer / Cheaper Grading on: April 22, 2016, 07:33:34 PM
I have unofficially done this for a little while for some of the EU collectors, and a few further afield as well. It seems to work for all concerned. Definitely helps share the costs around.

Probably worth offering imaging as well for those who want it.
640  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Feeler] EOD Coin on: April 22, 2016, 06:37:42 PM
With you all the way here EOD

Love the innovation. Just need to make sure that the desire for the wire doesn't stop the requirements of a cryptocoin ie that it is tamper proof. Also need to make sure that the private key has an element of protection from environmentals from the holo ie it's near enough airtight with the wire still in place

Only other thing I can think of is if it will fit in an airtite, and as such if ANACS would grade

But the wire is what sets this coin apart, so do all you can to keep it within the design

Hope you can tick all the boxes. This sounds like a unique offering. Hope to see it produced, and get one in my (gloved) hand. Any help I can offer, just shout up.
