621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, do you guys think cryptocurrencies will be gone anytime soon? on: October 17, 2019, 11:28:02 AM
If you mean by invest in it is altcoin yes you can consider and should try and invest in altcoin and trade with it and see if you can profit more than bitcoin can give you. I know few investors who have found their fortune on altcoins and not on bitcoin so you should try it too but only invest what you can afford to lose.
622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hated Personalities in the World of Bitcoin on: October 17, 2019, 11:03:24 AM
The biggest villain in the cryptocurrency world is for sure Craig Wright, he is such a cancerous person and doesn't feel ashame of himself trying to claim the position of being the owner and dear creator of bitcoin, such greediness.
I think he has done a great deal of damage to Bitcoin with his statements.
Surely he did a big negative impact with his sayings about bitcoin, it is normal knowing how big Warren Buffett's name is and how many supporters he has.
623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What needs to happen in order for bitcoin to replace gold on: October 16, 2019, 11:43:04 PM
to "replace" something you have to be in the same category as that thing. bitcoin is a currency while gold is not. so it can never replace something that is not even similar to!
Indeed, this is what bothers me every day when I go into this forum people who keeps talking about bitcoin replacing gold but they haven't realized that bitcoin has its own scene and use and purpose and gold has too theres no need for bitcoin or gold replacing each other because they are superior in their own field.
624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Still Better than US Dollar? on: October 16, 2019, 08:34:25 PM
Bitcoin is too far to be on par with the US dollar, the adoption, and usability is a big advantage for US dollar bitcoin is still far from achieving that and the fact that they have their own uses and they are dominating their own scene you shouldn't compare them in the first place.

But if the government will implement the open usage of bitcoin as a payment processor then for sure bitcoin will dominate the scene. It is more secure compared to our traditional financial system and faster, specially for huge amounts of money transfers which will take you about a week to process on a bank.
625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin can not become a global currency on: October 16, 2019, 12:45:38 PM
Hi, Gents,

I think there has to be a way to create a tracking system for bitcoin. Every wallet must contain ids. Otherwise, bitcoin can be always used for money laundering. If you want to launder money, you can find a cash seller everywhere. After bitcoin is bought, noone can prove whose bitcoin it is. I think this is the only think that preventing bitcoin to become a global currency. Do you think it would worth this much if it is trackable. I dont think so. There will be altcoins that work with tracking system and ids. They will become a global currency. Bitcoin? I think never. What do you think?
Tracking wallet transactions from a scammers wallet is just a piece of cake. Some people can easily track someones transaction, as long as you have the main suspects wallet address it would be so easy.
Money laundering incidents happens more on fiat currencies day by day money laundering transaction happens even more than the bitcoin money laundering count in each day.
626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is never going to be extinct on: October 16, 2019, 10:52:17 AM
Obviously it's never going to be extinct. I don't know why you even consider that it can be extinct. Bitcoin is a very strong curreny which has great prospects for future.
Yes indeed bitcoin is a strong currency/speculative asset but how can you assure that it will live long and won't get extinct or beaten by another altcoin in the future. Bitcoin is still vulnerable and the whole system may collapse if a tragic event will happen in the system and the world itself.
627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don't know Bitcoin is, I just know It is taking away the lives of family on: October 16, 2019, 09:01:07 AM
Bitcoin isn't the one who cost your sisters life it is your brothers fault if only he had knowledge on what he is doing and someone guiding him or force him to stop the outcome may change.
Yes money destroys family but thats not the moneys fault it is the one whos holding it to blame greedyness and selfishness is the one who can destroy a person and a family.
628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Years From Now: Bitcoin Overtaking PayPal? on: October 15, 2019, 06:34:41 PM
Now, this is some realistic goal I think. It will not take a long time for bitcoin to reach this goal for sure I think bitcoin is really close on passing paypal right now if just more adoption and support will happen surely bitcoin will gain more trust and users compared to PayPal.
629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this how we regulate Bitcoin? on: October 15, 2019, 11:09:29 AM
Regulation? HELL NO. If BTC were to be regulated it would just be calleed USD.
It is mandatory for bitcoin to be regulated if we want to push bitcoin to its upmost beneficial way, spending it legaly and freely to physical markets out there. Government needs to take over it before they even initialize that the usage of bitcoin in all markets are accepted because it is the government who is stoppong bitcoin to be use in such market and that is what we want but we need to sacrifice decentralization for it.
630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the Pepsi to Coca-Cola :-> on: October 15, 2019, 10:25:38 AM
I guess bitcoin should not be compared to Pepsi since pepsi is also centralized.
We are not comparing bitcoins decentralization and pepsis decentralization. We are comparing because government vs bitcoin also happen to be somewhat same as the story behind coca-cola and Pepsi, on how did they find a hole to defeat its mortal enemy the coca-cola and in this term it is cryptocurrency vs the government.
631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto a single person? on: October 15, 2019, 09:31:33 AM
I feel like Satoshi is like a geek who loves computer programming and mathematics that give birth to bitcoin technology. So if he is this good I think he is a male ( no discrimination but because I observed most people who are interested in computer programming and mathematics are mostly men), if he is that kind of a person it has a high chance that he doesn't have a wife or a girlfriend but who knows he is still unknown.
632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Identify Cryptocurrency Scams on: October 15, 2019, 09:14:06 AM
Identifying cryptocurrency scam icos and many more is easy and hard at the same. Yes, it is actually quite easy to identify a scam project by just looking at the board members of the project, its supporters and backers. But at the same time, it is hard because sometimes fake Infos are posted just to trick users from investing and that's the hardest part identifying if those people are real.
633  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is controlled not just manipulated but controlled on: October 14, 2019, 07:54:36 PM
Then do you really think trading bots made by them or someone can really manipulate the bitcoins price? I get it that there is an existing price manipulation but using bots as an example of the one who is manipulating bitcoins price is not considerable. Bots can't work like that, yes they were used to do simultaneous trades but for controlling the price no. It will cost them more than just a bot to do that.
634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finding Satoshi on: October 14, 2019, 07:12:37 PM
This topic was already been posted in this forum a few times already but it is still good for newbies.
Not only newbies there are tons of high ranking members who keep spamming and postin this kind of threads in no purpose, but I also get it that they only want to know who made the bitcoin technology but is it reasonable? what will they have as benefit of knowing who he was. Satoshi is indeed hard to find and there's a reason why he is hiding for some security reasons. Knowing Satoshi Nakamoto will give us nothing if he doesn't want to be revealed why would we chase his identity?
635  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC- When it back to 20k on: October 14, 2019, 12:28:38 PM
The best advice I can give to you is to be more patient way more than before. Yes, I know how it feels like getting caught in that kind of trap and trust me time will come and you'll get your profit back.
The second option you can do is to cut your losses and start recovering it from doing trades and don't focus on bitcoin alone, if you're brave enough to do this you can recover your lose on buying bitcoin slowly but surely.
636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whale transfers 1000 BTC from Bitstamp exchange to External wallet on: October 14, 2019, 11:46:08 AM
Whale Alert@whale_alert

1,000 #BTC (8,380,470 USD) transferred from #Bitstamp to unknown wallet

Tx: https://whale-alert.io/transaction/bitcoin/1397f8e570ec545ea558cf21e8007936bea4ea895a65def750df4ed2ffecf866/1

Okay this make sense now.
So roughly, 1,289 bitcoin is in the wallet which is totally crazy. Though, it's too early for now to speculate about sudden pump.

Or could this be just hyping?
Possibly tho, because some people tend to believe that there will be a good move coming if some "whales" are transferring huge amounts of bitcoin that there must be something that will happen in just few weeks. Or this is just a decoy or just some normal balance movement from bitstamp itself.
637  Economy / Economics / Re: LESSONS FROM CRYPTO MARKET on: October 14, 2019, 10:41:12 AM
How about you, what is your lesson?
My lesson is just one, and it is greed the deadliest sin of all. My greed in earning more money made me lose so much that I can't even support myself on a daily basis when that happened. Then I figured out where did I go wrong and eventually recovered up and here I am back at living again a happy life and my greed is already gone and im more patient than before.
638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen after cryptocurrency on: October 14, 2019, 10:16:54 AM
Money changed its shape through the history. As from non-monetary exchange to the need of having money. Fast forward to our current banknotes which are in my opinion slowly dying with bitcoin taking over. Many discussions are being held if bitcoin can be the primary currency in the world. Let's assume it can be. Everything has an end so what do you think will come after bitcoin? What will money look like hundreds of years from now? I predict its gonna be digital of course but I'm interested if its going to be a cryptocurrency or something else.
The future will be a whole new financial system framework for sure and further development will be made for people to feel more convinient using services and im sure blockchain technology and cryptocurrency will surely help to that development. Our technology is developing everyday and im sure it will continue to develop as lon as the smart minds behind it keep on working.
639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Store of Value or Method of Payment on: October 14, 2019, 09:37:11 AM
Bitcoin now is used for both ways, as a store of value and method of payments online now. Yes, bitcoin payments are still limited up to now but there are already some who accept bitcoin as a payment method so I think it's just fair to consider it even tho it's still not that widely accepted.
But one thing is sure that bitcoin is really made to be a currency and we are just using it in ways that we will benefit.
640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Stress and Happiness on: October 14, 2019, 09:02:55 AM
How do you manage any possible stress coming from Bitcoin's volatility?
I'm not getting stressed at all when bitcoin volatility attack, instead I became happy that it is moving either down or up. I like it when bitcoins price goes down because I get to buy more and later on profit more and I also like bitcoin price going up because of profits( who doesn't like bitcoin pumping Lol).

Almost everything in our world is both a source of stress and happiness so if you get used to it it will just be normal for you and won't affect you at all.
