641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How much would it cost to build mining rig? on: October 04, 2017, 06:14:03 PM
The PSU should be a EVGA or CORSAIR 1200 watt , fully modular and Platinum rated like the Hx1200 from Corsair, this PSU can keep up 5 cards even if they are running near 200 watt but that is not the case because when you are mining Ethereum they are consuming 135 watt each from GPU-Z or MSI afterburner app.

I would advise you to buy 6x 1060 GB 3GB for 1200 USD which would be a better choice, the consumption would be much lower than with RX 580 and you can mine Zcash to get approximately the same amount as for 5x RX 580. Make sure to buy a good motherboard for mining, like ASROCK H81 PRO BTC which supports 6 cards easily.

+1 for 1060. Easy 24-25 on Ethash without song and dance. As for PSU I prefer to use server psu because it  needs to run 24/7 non stop
642  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Storm is coming - big one? on: September 19, 2017, 08:47:18 AM
For me if another price drop happen i will add more coins. Corrections and pullbacks are normal since there are negative new about a stock/coin that you are buying. If you are investing and trading then you should know how to take control and get an advantage to people who are fearful.

There is always two different kind of investors the smart type and the emotional type. Smart investors are those who are always calmed even in this situation and look as it in a different perspective. Like it is decreasing but they're happy to it for the reason they buy more. But emotional investor are those who decided for what they feel is right without studying the market chart itself. It is more prone in losing.

Yep, 90% are emotional traders/investors (maybe even more on crypto markets) and they don't have exactly strategy of what they will do for each possible scenario.
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New Waves roadmap on: September 19, 2017, 08:26:25 AM
Hodl some amount from crowdsale. A lot of very positive news were announced, but price is get pressured each time by some whales I think.
644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency crash is coming, warns Dogecoin creator on: September 18, 2017, 04:26:51 PM
Let's hope he is wrong.

We just at the beginning of real bubble. Cap is still tiny. Real estate bubble(finished) -> Stocks bubble (continues) -> Crypto bubble (just starting)
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is bitcoincash scam? on: September 17, 2017, 10:44:47 PM
It's not scam coin but it's hard to replace BTC position on crypto market
Either way the price is very high, for example considering the time that has elapsed,so for the moment I could reserve to give a more detailed opinion on this later.

All unpopular PoW coins are doomed for decline in price. BCC is not scam, but bad version of original coin in technology part and as for investments.
646  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: China to Shut Bitcoin Exchanges - winter is coming on: September 17, 2017, 10:23:38 PM
Japan where cryptocurrency is legal currency can save us from stupid China gouverment decisions. Yaun is devaluated - so lets ban btc, not upgrade economic  Huh XIX summit of  Communist Party of China is take place soon, I think PBOC will more soft after
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I need some advice on NEO on: September 17, 2017, 10:14:01 PM
NEO was not so bad during recent China news dumps. Price bounce from support lines. That's good. You can also use NEO for buying RedPulse tokens on ICO. So hodl is best advise  Wink
648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: September 17, 2017, 05:26:07 PM
If you don't have any kind of trading skills is not much better than gambling, actually if you don't have any skill trading  is worst than gambling, on the gamble you could earn big by luck, on trading is not a matter of lucky is a matter of making the right decitions on the correct and exact moment.

In gambling you always play with casino/bookmaker advantage in math model/odds etc. Trading is different because it's game against others "players" and not with the system.
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Review Weekly on: September 17, 2017, 07:29:44 AM
Not useful daydgest as for me. Deep analysis from other people is good to start researching. But this sketchy information. Don't even know how it can be helpful...
650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Investors to Trade Bitcoin Over-The-Counter Via Telegram on: September 17, 2017, 06:29:01 AM
Maybe it's time to bring p2p networks like Zeronet to a new different level with all bans from governments in various countries.

Ha ha!

651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What the hell is JPMorgan upto? on: September 17, 2017, 06:02:45 AM
They just want low prices as anyone else.

Cryptocurrency market is still very small for such financial holding like JPMorgan. Look at the figures http://www.marketwatch.com/investing/stock/jpm/financials/balance-sheet It's just PR or something else, but not manipulation for cheap buys
652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: September 17, 2017, 05:51:58 AM
How will ethereum be affected by future securities regulations if exchanges are not allowed to trade tokens classed as a security?

It's good for overall situation and ecosystem. Legal frameworks for security tokens are needed. So I think when regulation will stated then exchanges will available for security tokens. And very soon we will also have a ton of decentralized exchanges  Wink

Is it better that China just gets out of Bitcoin?
A friend of mine saying that China always dump btc:D Not true in fact. But now I am not worry about PBOC claims, because crypto is the next bubble after stock market bubble and private capitals are just beginning to enter on markets
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BAN list China ICO's on: September 10, 2017, 06:21:10 PM
Thank you for this list. I think that this ban is temporary and they will be added back up in a month or so. This is the huge manipulation ever. CHINA is just playing with us, I liked china and I thought that they will make amazing icos, but instead they banned it. They are just crazy people.

I know that some projects (eg RLC) requested to stop trading for refund execution. So trading for them probably will resume after.
655  Economy / Speculation / Re: So what has China banned now? on: September 10, 2017, 06:03:25 PM
I just wake up with a price of near $4000, testing again the previous near $4000 resistance, so it double bottomed and now seems to be going up again, hopefully this is the last time it bounces back to $4000.

Is this the aftermath of the same fake chinese news? but who the hell didn't see that the news are fake yet?

Some of them are fake to make us panic. We need to be careful on this.

Most of them... But Caixin news about ICO temporary ban was true. Now they post information from the same insider in government group about exchanges ban  http://finance.caixin.com/2017-09-08/101142797.html
656  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: September 10, 2017, 08:59:00 AM
well for me it is so better to have more bitcoins that gold, bitcoin is increasing its own price rapidly while the gold can't just increase its price because of the government that manipulate it, so better to have bitcoins than gold, hold bitcoin.
I agree with you. This year and this decade are for bitcoin and we can not do anything else. holding bitcoin is absolutely more profitable than holding gold. The price of bitcoin increases significantly over years while gold is still increasing slowly and stably

Gold was also rallied from $100 an ounce to ~$900 on 197x-1980. But we can't make comparison in such way. Gold is universally recognized "protective asset" (but not for all Grin). And bitcoin is money/payment method and definitely not next gold.
657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Largest ever in BTC history. 1.314MB block mined. Segwit is expanding. on: September 09, 2017, 08:31:45 PM
Finally positive news! Roger Ver is lonely and sad at this moment somewhere with his BCC dishonor
658  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins dropped by almost 500 $ just a few minutes on: September 09, 2017, 07:01:07 PM
Haha. Video from 2014, but always relevant https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ry6PpRXk0dQ&feature=youtu.be

PBOC chairmen needs lower prices for buys Grin
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO in September on: September 09, 2017, 06:36:24 PM
For September I invested in / looking to invest in:

https://kin.kik.com/  --> A working product and got a nice amount of vc capital before there ico.
https://enjincoin.io/ --> Their product is also live. I like the vision they have and support their idea.

https://science.tokenhub.com/ --> They got some nice media coverage
https://ico.bitdice.me/en/ --> Its gambling and we all know that the house always wins ^^
https://tokensale.icobox.io/ --> I invested in it as it is hyped

As I am new to the ico business, what do you guys think?
I also wanted to raise my investment in one of this icos, what should I choose?

Thanks,
Tykhe

Who can explain about kik? Why this one project so popular? I think they just trying get extra money on trending wave of ICO. No?
660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO in September on: September 09, 2017, 07:17:47 AM
And as for me, there are some interesting pre sales that I want take part in. I think COMSA and Tokenlab are very promising and Etherparty also. Maybe Red Pulse if PBOC will lenient.

several sites gave an etherparty a low score. can you say that it's so good? now the presale sold 75%

You need to do own research. I realy love concept of simplifing
