That was a typo?

we dont read PM's here... there are alot.

Also we dont answer info about order numbers or individual shipments here. its not a place for that.

We're trying to be communicative and helpful.

ROFL. A "typo" that was pointed out time and again and sparked endless discussions since December.  Strangely every Coincraft based product had similar "typo's".  Oh and bitfury based products too, also consuming ~2x what you claimed on the website. Then at some point around February or so, you replaced that typo with another "typo" (600-900W IIRC), and even today its still showing less than what you are claiming today.

Typo my ass.

Either way Puppet, its still economically efficient comparing to other miners on the market. And we are making headway in shipments and really believe that in the next 12 days or so we'll be able to delivery everyone current order. Now that bugs have been solved its a process of ramping up the lines and organizing assembly teams.

And again, anyone that would like to assist is welcome.

Offered more then once now on phone an in PM.. NO RESPONSE!!!

You don't answer info about order numbers or individual shipments anywhere. Or when you do the information isn't correct. I'll go ahead and send an e-mail to Jim right now. Then we'll see what kind of answer I get.

On march 12th I was told my miner would ship this week. If you can't project out two weeks you are in some major trouble.
642  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 28, 2014, 03:29:39 PM
Ya know folks, with all this talk about ROI... Provided you are actually setup to Mine as a business:
2014 Tax Incentives for Manufacturing Companies
Section 179 Federal Income Tax Deduction: $25,000 Write-Off

This deduction allows a company to deduct the first $25,000 of equipment (Section 179 Property) purchased in 2014 from their taxable income. For companies purchasing (or leasing - with a $1 or $101 buyout) up to $200,000 of equipment in 2014, this deduction is available in full. It then phases out on a dollar-for-dollar basis for amounts over $200,000.

Really. Carlos.. you might be on to something there.

how do you propose to help us sell our miners here? you said you would help with the sale of the miner. I'll be glad to sell mine for the $5759 I originally paid. if you find any takers for order number 1432 I'd be happy to sell it at that price.

Or you can act ethically and within the rules of the law and refund my $5759. As my request was sent to you on the 17th of March, and my miner was obviously not shipped by then thus entitling me to a refund, you are now late on delivering the refund check by four days. I've suggested an alternative arrangement that will satisfy your debt to me while still keeping some profit from my order. I think this is more than generous.

If you disagree please state why.
643  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 28, 2014, 03:19:28 PM
Sir: it is not speculative. Using a bitcoin calculator and putting in the 1.2Th/s hash rate, 1500W it gives you a definitive number of at least $1800 of income lost. It would be speculative if I was trying to figure out lost income for April. The clock keeps ticking.

If it would be speculative for april is was once speculative for march.  And it was in investment that when you made it anything from beyond he day of purchase was speculative.

The argument is about when you purchased you were not guaranteed any return in USD because of the speculative nature of bitcoin. You are however entitled to one cent over the cost of your mining hardware under the MPP.

If they were smart they'd refund people their money plus one cent and then they will have made good on your investment turning a profit within six months for what would have been the shipping date.
644  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 28, 2014, 03:07:17 PM
Because of the speculative nature of BTC I don't think you'd have a leg to stand on if you were suing for lost revenue. I would be wrong though, I'm not a lawyer. Either way you made the purchase knowing that bitcoin could have gone up to $3,000 or down to $1.50.

That was a risk you took when purchasing the miner.
645  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 28, 2014, 03:02:38 PM
Something doesn't add up, they won't offer refunds, but they claim the miners cost them $5500+ in parts and do not make any money on them. If its true, why not issue refunds and be over with it?

likely because the money is tied up in hardware.

Then if they give one refund then they will have to give everyone a refund.

Except that they don't seem to realize that they are required by law to issue refunds to anyone who requests it before their miner ships. And any fraud on their part means that declaring bankruptcy wouldn't do any good as our debts they owe us would be considered non-dischargeable. Advertising units for shipping dates they knew they couldn't meet is fraud as it was used to get people to make purchases.

I'll take that 10 BTC right here AMT.

Here's the long hand.

1B6fiFU3XiUPi4TNa4qyFyW2nynkXj5wiC

I'd really like nothing more than for you to take this deal, then you still have your hardware you can sell. It's a solid deal for you. looks like I'd even be extending your profit margin on my unit. Come on, lets do business. I won't even tell anyone if the BTC shows up in the account. It can be between us.

648  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 28, 2014, 02:00:26 PM
I don't understand, you collected hundreds of thousands of dollars in pre-orders and you have no staff to put the things together?

Chips are expensive. Total cost per build is coming in at 4900-5400 as of now. We've sold several at between 4799-5399, almost 60% - so yes at this facility we are short staffed today.

I'm willing to make a deal with you to avoid any further issue. Upon meeting these conditions I will waive my right to your products and any MPP upgrades that were advertised on your site. I will gladly call the Consumer affairs office and have them stop my claim in it's tracks.

You send 10 BTC to my wallet right now so I can purchase an ant miner S2 and 3 S1 (I'll worry about the power supplies for the S1s)

At the current price of BTC that is $5,120 which is under the upper end of your build costs. I paid $5759 dollars.

You make $639 off of my transaction. Profit for you, miners for me. We shake virtual hands and part ways. If in the future I see you're operating smoothly I'd be glad to consider a purchase with you again then.

A wild Phineaus has appeared.

Josh uses jump the line, miner attack.

Critical hit!

Phineaus uses accept and apologize on video.

           Josh wins!

Can anyone confirm this product they are trying to pass off is actually an actual 1.2T miner, and not just a 1Th/s miner overclocked. I really would like to know this information for my records Smiley

It is a 1 TH miner overclocked at 1.25 with 5 modules.
It is a 1.25TH miner overclocked at 1.525 with 6 modules.

THe 6 modules needs an extended backplane - we have ordered them from our board house but they are taking some time. The first proto came back and didn't work because of how/where we placed the i2cpot -The backplane has slots for 8 modules - with breakable endings to turn it is in 8-7-6 or size module back plane. We're also doing the same with the 5 module backplane 5-4-3 modules breakable.

We're shipping withe 5 modules as of now - no reason to hold up any longer. When the new backplanes come in, we'll figure out if we can survive and be nice or if we're charging for the 6th module/new backplane.

How will the case change for a six module unit? The current unit looks jam packed. Have you thought about what a sixth unit will do to the temp in the case?

Are you still going to ship with a server style case for those who were requesting them?

And I just spoke with a lady at the Consumer Affairs Department. They'll process that today, I'll be calling back on monday to get my file number in case AMT miners wanted it.

Amy can u post vid of miners hashing? While Phil was there?

Yeah amy, tell us more about the time you were hashing with Phil.
653  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 28, 2014, 11:58:32 AM
how heavy will this thing be as I'll want to bring it back on the plane with me. Which means bubble wrapping the shit out of it , throwing in some styrofoam, and hoping the TSA doesn't think it's a bomb.
654  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 28, 2014, 11:53:33 AM
Since they've not refunded me per FTC regulations, or tried to work with me through mediation I'm going to be filing with the Delaware county consumer affairs department. We'll I've sent the fax they just won't receive it until tomorrow. I'll also send a Demand Letter, demanding the refund I'm owed. Then if necessary I'll be moving on to legal actions. I have an email from jim saying in no uncertain terms that my miner would be shipping the week of the 24th, that gives them until Sunday, since I'm being kind and am assuming they use a monday- sunday work week rather than a sunday - saturday work week.

Then I'll look at using the lawyer from one of the various members here who have contacted me to notify me that they would be bringing a suit against AMT since they'll already have some information gathered. It just kind of depends on whether or not I want to handle this in a small claims manner or as part of something potentially much larger.

Ideally I wouldn't go either route as the legal system is a drain of time and effort for everyone involved, but sadly I'm being left with no other choice. I've reached out to AMT on the forum, publicly and privately, as well through multiple e-mails and calls and us postal service. All of which have been ignored from march 12th on. I'd prefer to sit down and have a talk with jim, josh, or the both of them and come to an agreement that benefits both of us without any other time or hassle involved. I'd fly on out, at my own expense to talk with them and pick my miner up this next week as I was told mine would be shipping this week. But no one will bother to talk to me or respond.

"Who will stand up and take Phin's position?"

Hopefully no one. I didn't like his tactics or his wild baseless assumptions even though the guy himself doesn't seem so bad.

I'd prefer to see someone take a different more thought out method of presenting information that separates the wheat from the chaff rather than dumping raw information that often has little to do with anything. And a perhaps a little more follow up on leads before just shitting out piles of information. I get that Phin does it out of a kind place in his heart, not wanting to see others get taken, like he once did but there are better ways.

Rolling up the carpet, headed to the docks.

Good lord I hope you have help, you could throw your back out trying to haul him to the van.

Da Fuq?

EDIT. That BETTER be a fuckin' Joke. Bruno was one of the first people to be welcoming to me in the bitcoin community. While I think his methods are overkill, he's good people.

No don't worry, its cool, we sold him a miner.

Pretty stupid joke there. Another shining example of how in touch you are with customers.

It might have been stupid, but bruno himself was making jokes about getting fitted for cement shoes earlier.

I would be shocked to find out that even those at AMT would be stupid enough to come on here and make a joke about killing a guy if they actually did it. I mean that would take a special  kind of stupid.

What happened to this thread?  Last I checked it was all ok

We posted some positive news and a member actually came forward and demonstrated his miner. Since then its been pretty crazy because we must actually be legit right.

Anyway, now we're going to invest some serious time and energy into PR and everyone here posting negative comments will look a bunch of assholes. Weed out the comments, naysayers and trolls, and then.. Bam - videos, PR, Forbes..

Here's an oldy but still a goody

We should call Forbes on their behalf.

Hmmm has anyone heard from phin?

I don't know who talks to him out side of here.
