Guys, instead of dumping your CHIP below 300sat @ YoBit, it would be much wiser to use it in the PIO ICO round 2.. Right? Lol, some people.. I wanted to do so, but CHIP wallet at Yobit is, as usual, in "maintenance" so my CHIPs are blocked I figure you mean the " as usual " as yobit itself.. Since the Chipcoin wallet only has been in maintenance once in October/november.. The issue is on their end.. Not ours, the network is fine.. Please send them a support ticket.. I've done the same thing already

Seems CHIP is in maintenance on Yobit..
I want to advise all of you who have a pending CHIP deposit/withdraw on yobit to write them a support message.. The issue is on their side..
I put in a support form myself too, and a few pms..
Moderator forwarded my message to admins

Ok guys, so I was told wrong information. To add HODL WOULD require a coin swap. It would be 1:1. There are advantages to this. The first being we can upgrade our old core of V8.x to 11.2 of core. The second is it would allow many future upgrades , starting with HODL. The third which is VERY important to me is it would correct the horribly inaccurate money supply. We are far less than 200k. That I can tell you for a fact. The top person on the rich list was issued 8370 fly on September 16th 2015, and has never staked, and has never moved coins. Im sure there are more "lost" coins. So anyway, with this new information, Im going to reset the poll, because this now requires a coin swap which is a massive pain , and enormous cost to rebuild fly with a new core. Next month fly will be 1 year old!!! Thats middle aged for crypto. Fly will one day be a very old coin , like DMD Anyway, its not about what I want, its what YOU want. Vegas I'm not sure how you got the figure below 200K supply, but the explorer's total supply is calculated by ALL transactions in the chain, and not reliable on "moneysupply" in getinfo.. There is absolutely more then 200K in ciculation.. The fact people don't move their coins, has nothing to do with actual supply imo.. I'm willing to do a complete re-sync if you wish But good news on the progress in plans This will also get rid of all the forks etc.. And the wallet.dat issues (If some still had those) I will create a second explorer for FLY v2, and keep the old explorer online until the swap is completely finished Voted!

PM sent to Blacksmith on Yobit Support ticket send to Yobit Funny how the chip wallet is out of sync all of a sudden.. They wont fix it until you pay the extra fee.. If that is true, I'm shocked It is the responibilty of an exchange to fix the wallet issue on their side if there is no overall network problem.. Paying for that would be rather silly..

Its easy math guys.. dont make it harder as it is.. lol
Chipcoin is pegged at 30BTC marketcap.. Chipcoin has a spendable supply of ~10 million.. thus 300 satoshi each..
Chip is your previous project, isn't it? Yes and No I acted as community take-over developer.. Please read the OP for more info

|
|
What amount of coins will be distributed, could't see this in the OP?
Total amount is 190 k PIO, but what's the amount of PIO that will be distributed in round one for BTC investors? This all depends on the total outcome of round one and two together.. Example: Round one raised 10 BTC Round two raised 3.33 million Chipcoin = ~10 BTC Chipcoin is pegged at 300 satoshi each, this is the average price of Chipcoin, and current market buy price. Round one = 50% shares Round two = 50% shares Don't think Chipcoin holders are at an advantage here.. Every coin used in the crowdfund is bought once before on the free market.. This is the same for Bitcoin and Chipcoin.. Some bought cheap, some bought high.. The collected Chipcoin will be used for multiple new campaigns, and exchange promotions.. Thanks for clarification As I've said before.. The figures in the OP are described as examples.. Using 70BTC as example for BTC, and the entire supply of Chipcoin

It seems C-Cex is the only exchange not handling the fork. However on closer investigation it seems that those daft enough to have large balances on that exchange are letting them stake your balances in the optimised wallet. Hence why great support last weekend got sold through like a bullet. Do your own homework and see if I am indeed correct.
If c-cex is not handling the previous fork from April, then they are not connected to the main chain lol.. So I doubt your theory is correct.. There was a protocol change during the fork, which blocks older versions from connecting to the main chain It is a known thing that c-cex stakes with user balance.. And staking such amounts at ~670% a year can really up their balance I've noticed this myself when I did Chipcoin v2 with them.. Their addresses we're staking lmao.. Exactly the reason I didnt bother when they delisted Chipcoin.. Its not OK to stake with usersbalance, and later on dump the stakes.. Just my 2cts

Notice: Chipcoin send to the crowdfunding, will also STAKE to keep the network going.. This will only increase your address balance Well, this is an advantage we, BTC investors had to know! That would make me think before I invest. I agree on that. It would be correct. Banzai, any suggestions? Chipcoin is a PoS based currency.. There is no difference in staking on your deposit address, or staking through your desktop wallet, and deposit on the last day.. I want to avoid a mass movement in the chain on the last day.. We dont want to get stuck because of the high diff, and weight drop etc.. Besides , IF we stake with 100% of the Chipcoin supply, we will get 1440x 2 CHIP x 7 days... So ~20K Chipcoin MAX with 1 week of staking with 100% coin supply.. Which is highly unrealistic I hope this calms you down a bit.. Since Chipcoin staking rewards will not hurt BTC investors at all.. It is more of a pre-caution to protect the blockchain from halting..

IMPORTANT UPDATE
We realise that we are effectively stuck at the moment and that we will not be able to move the chain effectively so this is what we will do: 1. Update the protocol version with an immediate hard fork to activate X11 PoW blocks to move the chain. 2. We will burn 5,000,000 MOJO to take the total down. 3. We will activate X11 PoW mining with a block reward of 20 MOJO per block for 6 months and keep PoW enabled for a while as a backup measure to make sure we never end up with a stuck chain again. 4. We will remove the restriction that requires a master node to be running for other wallets to stake.
We have made a review of the code and believe that the MN system / PoS is correct and will work post hard-fork.
We expect to implement this on Tuesday 26/07/2016 evening time (GMT)
Since there is no moving chain and the wallet.dat will be compatible with the new post hard-fork wallets this should not present a problem for anyone.
This will ensure that we can drive The Mojocoin project forward and not get bogged down in issues like these. We can then focus on the utility of MOJO and move forward with the roadmap.
I will update the OP, Twitter, blog etc. shortly.
Links to new wallets will be up hopefully by Tuesday evening. Hang in there...
Thank you
Great news... Some other things that could help keep the network more stable.. Lower minted confirms.. This will release your coins sooner to start gaining age again.. And lower the minimum stake age to 6 hours or so.. If not many people are staking, a 24 hour stake age can be troublesome if people dont have many mature inputs.. Add a blockplitter tool to split your inputs for staking..(Or manually send many transactions through daemon/console) Rent a few cheap vps's to stake in the background... Then again, you basicly solved a lot of issues with the solutions you came up with..

Yeah, firefox is not really usable and if somebody uses firefox, then there might be issues with wrong addresses. This is why I would mark it as high priority. I did not check without adblocker but not being able to copy wallet address is annoying for firefox users.
I know, but is a big operation.. It appears the latest version is not compatible with some commands connecting to the database.. (really annoying) This means I basicly need to rewrite the entire pages.. So bare with me a bit Still funny how my own firefox running the latest version is not having issues.. Still not sure if this is a ubuntu only problem or not.. EDIT: If you pledge funds, be sure to fill out the form! If you dont fill out the form, there is a good chance your transaction is not being accounted for at the end of the crowdsale.. The form is there to confirm your submitted pledge in the database..

Round Two is now live! Get your Chipcoin ready (Still working on that firefox fix)

Dev, what is the percentage shares of Round 1 ? thanks.
The amounts are calculated after round two so round two is already started? what is the coin price for round one? Chipcoin price is pegged at at 300 satoshi which is the average price (30 BTC marketcap spendable supply as stated in OP) This is a set nr, and will not change, even if Chipcoin goes to 500 satoshi.. For that reason its hard to tell how many Chipcoin will be collected.. I'm working on round two now in the back-end, it will start in a few hours..

This coin looks interesting. Can i reserve RUSSIAN translate? Reserved for you Round Two will start in ~20 hours.. The Dashboard page will have a new form, similair to the BTC deposit form. Round one investors are welcome in round two also Round one investors will still see their Bitcoin investment in the dashboard After round two, the math will be done, and coins distributed after wallet release & addresses collecting..
