641  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P SCAMMER. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: January 06, 2016, 07:33:56 AM

I wonder why is he hiding his email address as we all know about it? GOSH! He is trying to delete all evidences that he was account holder of master-p and police might spare him if anyone sues him now. Can theymos revert the changes back anyhow?

I have his old email address. Also, if he deleted or edited any of his posts, I have the old versions.

Glad to hear this. I guess you will have the old versions here - https://bitcointa.lk/

In case lawsuit gets involved you need to provide those proofs that he is owner of master-p.

Also can you check if the same IP address was used while logging into master-p's main account today at 04:20:47 AM?

How was he able to put malicious files on your computer?

I've left negative feedback on your account because the site that is being spammed highly likely contains some sort of virus or malware as well as being a ponzi scam. If it does turn out your account was compromised then I will remove or change it to neutral.

644  Other / Meta / Re: Some help needed. on: January 04, 2016, 01:31:37 PM
It might be custom, written by theymos.

Can theymos set it up for my forum if I agree to pay him for his work?

I want him to set up the above mentioned features if he has time.

Anyways, thanks mprep for your significant help Smiley

If you have some programming knowledge I don't think it will be a big problem ... Try to go to Epochtalk (the new forum software) on Github , It should use the same algorithm as this forum since Activity feature will remain the same .

Will be testing out Epochtalk soon and check if it can fulfill my requirements out of the box as you said. Wink
645  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: OVERVIEW: BITCOIN HARDWARE WALLETS █████████████████ Secure your Coins on: January 03, 2016, 12:49:33 AM

I believe Trezor is the most secure option of the hardware wallets. The screen is a big plus. Trezor does show your sending address on the screen and asks you twice to confirm the transaction before it sends. In terms of authentication you will have to enter your PIN and also passphrase if you passphrase protected the account.

I know that. But at the same time Ledger Wallet is also having high security measures of 2FA since you cannot send money until you either confirm a transaction via smartphone or input the custom authentication codes from the separate offline card given in the package.

So which one is best among the two now?
646  Other / New forum software / Re: Can we "Like" a post? on: January 02, 2016, 08:51:21 PM
How about the ability to "like" or "+1" a post?  To prevent obvious abuse, you must have positive trust and seniority to vote.   A +1 should not give any advantage to a a post.

How about adding a rating beside each thread/post if someone likes his OP or comment?

It will look authentic in this forum because +1 and like features are more suitable in social networking sites rather than an independent forum where open discussions happen all the time.

What do you think Vod? Smiley
647  Other / Meta / Some help needed. on: January 02, 2016, 08:47:54 PM
I am thinking of starting a student based forum and I want to add these activity algorithm as well as the potential activity algorithm to it. I searched everywhere on simple machines forum but in vain! Sad

Can any staff member help me with the algorithms?

Also I want that algorithm where a newbie is restricted to post twice in between 360 seconds and it gets reduced over time and activity.

I will be highly obliged if someone helps me with this Smiley
648  Economy / Services / Re: Amazon.com order (vouched) on: January 02, 2016, 08:32:16 PM
VOUCHED BY JACKTHEKING!

Hi everyone!

So I sold a lot of accounts already,

My store:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1186606.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1160359

And some customers paid with amazon gc code.

I need to exhange my balance with bitcoin.

So im willing to buy anything for you on amazon and you pay me your btc.

Willing to use 50-100 usd balance for now.
I'll handle the shipping (USA ONLY)

Either use escrow or you go first. If you are a trusted member I can go first with the order.

Cheers!

Can you do this for me on Amazon.in?

I guess it will be helpful for Indian customers, who are also bitcoin enthusiasts. Smiley

But how will you complete the payment? With your credit card or gift cards?

Hope to get a positive answer. Wink

650  Economy / Services / Re: Should I invite faucets owner to my rotator and charge them a fee or list them on: January 02, 2016, 08:23:15 PM
You should check out how epay.info and scanthebox.com have setup their rotator.

Their rotator UI is super clean with no ads. Only ads are shown on the faucet sites.

Meanwhile you should not charge any fees from the faucet owners as this will not attract to join your rotator. You can at least add your donation address and add referral links so that each visitor registers on each faucets with your referral. This will help you earning enough commission I suppose Wink
651  Economy / Services / Re: GIF-BANNER-CONTEST FOR FLEXYBIT.COM on: January 02, 2016, 08:12:24 PM
[Reserving this post. If I can get some time I'll try to post them within 5th]

Btw, can you tell me what your site is really about? I did not bother to browse it myself, sorry for my laziness Tongue I think it is a raffle site by looking at your screenshot.

And can I add different colours other than light-green? Am I allowed to add a border and some characters to the animated banner?

It will be awesome if you increase your time limit. 5th is really too early... Well I will post here if I get time within 5th. Smiley

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay here are my entries :

1. Smaller banner (468x60) -

2. Bigger banner (728x90) - (coming soon)

** OP, I need your suggestion on the smaller banner before creating the bigger one.

I will no longer do it since OP is not interested in my creation and he didnot even bother to give me a consolation tip!

Good luck with your ponzi...

652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We should start pricing Bitcoins in Satoshis to realize how cheap it is! on: January 02, 2016, 07:56:38 PM
Yup, look how cheap one satoshi is: $0.0000043

Even the exchanges should price it this way, you would see 1 satoshi going up to $1 in a minute.

That would put 1 BTC = $100,000,000 Smiley

Satoshi is not the ultimate unit to determine the value of bitcoins. If you are so much worried about satoshi then think of the value of 100,000,000 Satoshis

If developers now change the unit system of bitcoins all of a sudden then there will be a huge inflation problem with might destroy its economy!

Btw check this out for real conversion rate. http://www.btcsatoshi.com/
653  Economy / Services / Re: Sheet Music to MIDI on: January 02, 2016, 07:47:10 PM
I can create a MIDI or MP3 file from a pdf of sheet music.

Any sheet music pdf file of your choice can be turned into a MIDI file or a MP3 for just $0.05 in bitcoins!

Sheet music will be turned into the audio file or your choice first, then can be previewed. If you want the file, you must then pay for it. File you preview will be watermarked.

Can you just show me an example as to what you are gonna give to me?

Pming me would be a better idea Smiley

Btw can you create some MIDI files for DJ-ing stuffs? I think you got my point.
654  Economy / Services / Re: [free service] If you fell depressed on: January 02, 2016, 07:43:55 PM
I'll be there for you, to listen and give you some advice, as much as I can.

During our conversations you'll be the most important thing. If you have any personal troubles and feel deserted, lonely and hopeless I'll be there for you. Just PM me and remember that if you feel alone, you're not alone.

On which fields are you going to give advice on? I think you need to be an expert in each fields that you would like to give advice upon?

Moreover, I am having a problem with my studies. I am unable to cope up with my daily tasks and am getting bad grades due to pessimistic (de-motivational) comments from my peers and families as well as for my piled up backlogs Embarrassed

Lets see what you can do to motivate me up so that I can achieve some success this time. Please pm me regarding this Smiley
655  Economy / Services / Re: I'm looking for followers on twitter Earn in just 1 second ! on: January 02, 2016, 07:37:23 PM
I did not get the deal. Will you send me 0.0001 BTC if I follow you?

Or will you send me 0.0001 BTC each time I refer my followers to you?

I think the latter one will be profitable for both of us if you intend to grow your follower base. Wink

Hope to get a pm from you regarding this proposition.
656  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: falixr | Web Hosting | $2.25 | SSD Disk Space + LiteSpeed | Speedy & Reliable on: January 02, 2016, 07:14:58 PM
I hosted my WordPress site on Dreamhost for a couple of weeks before shifting it to Bluehost due to their downtime issues.

Well, I just saw your service today and I am thinking of hosting it here. Smiley But I have a few questions:

1. Can I get a custom quote for disk space more than 25 GB?

2. Is there any discounts availed for more orders?

3. Can I see your uptime vs downtime ratio?

4. Do you allow hosting nodes and blockchains as well as pools for a particular cryptocurrency?

I will be looking forward in availing your service in future Smiley
657  Economy / Services / Re: New method to cash BTC --> Cashout on: January 02, 2016, 07:06:54 PM
New heights of scamming! LOL Grin

First of all where is this site btctalk? I think Google forgot to index it! Also how can I guarantee that you will not chargeback if someone pays you via credit card or PayPal? And you are also giving us 100% guarantee that no fees are needed and it's legal!

One piece of advice to you - "Try something new, newbie."

658  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Selling] *Crypto Imperator Bitcoin Physical coins! Unique design! 10.000 Bits on: January 02, 2016, 06:58:09 PM
I would like to give a shout out to Crypto Imperator coins for their awesome creation. Smiley

After buying 2 coins (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=818791.msg12674094#msg12674094) I decided to keep one coin exposed and touch it normally with my bare hands everyday just for experimenting if it will corrode over time.

To my amazement, it's just as same as the other one (sealed) ! No scratches, oily marks - nothing! Shocked

Btw, can I get some stickers for them because I have redeemed BTC from one of them and the sticker is already tampered?

Thanks a lot for your awesome coins. Cheesy
659  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 0.5% fee solo mining USA/DE/CN servers 143 blocks solved! on: January 02, 2016, 06:48:25 PM
I have been mining on F2Pool (at PPS mode) for quite a long time now. I just wanted to try out my luck at -ck's pool because I'm feeling lucky after this New Year Tongue

But I have a query regarding solo mining since I have no experience at all.

1. Do I need to keep my miners running 24*7 ?

2. What will happen if I stop mining for sometime in order to give a break?

3. How can I calculate my chance from the submitted shares every 5 minutes?

4. If a block is found by someone else, will I receive a fractional share from it or nothing?

6. Is merged mining other SHA-256 coins possible?

more nooby questions coming! Grin
660  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: s7 new farm on: January 02, 2016, 06:36:26 PM
hi guys ,
we are seting up a small farm with 30 s7s

i just have a question that bother me   and is  [ how long can last s7s  in a nice enviroment[

also i would like to know if some one can let me know if there are some other hardware with more power than s7s

thank you

Do not worry at all. They are sturdy from inside. Wink

I am running 3 S3 miners for 8 months now without any problem. I will probably run them until I reach my ROI estimate. Also I will keep them running until I calculate there is significant loss in mining with them at coinwarz.com

And your S7 will probably last longer.
