641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I be worried? on: January 27, 2023, 12:39:02 PM
What you need to know about Artificial Intelligence is that technology is still being developed today, and even though A.I looks very good at the moment, it still has quite a lot of shortcomings, and because of this, it is still being developed. however, I think that there will be a time when we see the product of a combination of crypto, metaverse and Artificial Intelligence be integrated into a development program that will make people glance at it. For now, you may not have found it yet, but the potential to see it in the future still exists. well, the advice I have, it would be great if you just kept up with the developments without the slightest worry. I think, among the many projects currently being developed, there will definitely be an Artificial Intelligence system that is suitable for crypto or metaverse.

643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tell me about the coin portfolio. on: January 25, 2023, 12:42:18 PM
Tell me about your coin portfolio weight.
Do you mainly invest assets in Bitcoin and Ethereum?
Or do you usually invest your assets in Altcoin?
I usually invest 70-80% of my assets in Ethereum.
the real goal in my portfolio is to hold ethereum in a bigger presentation than bitcoin, and other altcoins.
Personally, I also invest 60% in ethereum, 30% in bitcoin and the rest in altcoins. in building a portfolio, I focus on that goal. however, under certain conditions, I sometimes change that to 70% for ethereum and the rest for bitcoin. although I know bitcoin much better than ethereum, yet I feel I am better suited to hold ethereum than bitcoin. so, in short my portfolio is like
Ethereum = 60% / 70%
Bitcoins = 30%
Altcoin =10%
I still use this pattern today
644  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of new SCAM on google play! SoBit: Bitcoin wallet on: October 01, 2022, 01:48:31 PM
just lost btc through a scam wallet on google play market. if you type in 'bitcoin wallet'. you'll see SoBit: Bitcoin Wallet. it has 5 star rating & it would be first or second on the list. beware. once you send funds to it, it sends out btc somewhere else after confirmation. i couldnt believe it at first but then after going through 1 star reviews i realised i wasnt the only one. makes me wonder how can google allow this scam to be on top?

Never trust ratings on google play when you see apps related to money. Ratings on Google Play are very easy to manipulate. there are quite a number of services that can make an application's rating very good on google play. I've seen several apps whose ratings were manipulated on Google Play. Some of the signs you can see when an application is being manipulated are
  • The comments do not match the use of the application, in this case they are doing their job just giving 5 stars, and giving "good" comments or other things, and sometimes the comments are not related to the application.
  • The app is suspicious
  • Not many people have the app installed.
However, to avoid that, you can actually ask the opinion of the people who use the wallet on this forum, or at least ask about the application here. There will be a lot of people who will give you information about the app, or give you advice. For the record, use a wallet that is only used frequently and is trusted, such as a Trust Wallet. It is better.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for September on: October 01, 2022, 09:02:13 AM
The impact of the merger doesn't seem to be too visible because the price movement of ethereum has not increased too high and the price has fallen for a while. But we can hope that when the altcoin season comes, everything can change and make the price of ethereum increase and at that time, the price can break the high price again. It seems that the movement of ethereum still tends to follow the movement of bitcoin so that the price of ethereum does not rise too high. So we still have to be patient in waiting for that upward moment while buying more ethereum.
as said before, the price of ethereum did not increase even after the merge occurred, it was caused because we are still in a bear market. and so far, the movement of ethereum is still heavily dependent on bitcoin. However, one thing I'm pretty sure of is that when the price of bitcoin pumps, or when we have exited a bear market, the potential for a push in the price of ethereum will likely be bigger than before. In addition, it seems that it is not only crypto that is currently in a bear market, but now it seems that the bear market still includes all types of investments. so, we really need to add patience.

Back to the topic of ethereum prices, if we look at the chart on CMC in September 2022, this really proves that currently the merge effect of ethereum has not produced a positive effect. That's because, the chart from the beginning of September to the end of the month the price of ethereum is relatively declining. As can be seen in the image data from CMC below.

In addition, according to Cointelegraph, the price of ethereum is currently in the range of $1,250 and $1,410, it is possible that a price increase above $1,410 could be a signal that the price of ethereum is starting to rise again, and below $1,250, it means that we will be sinking deeper into a bear market.
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't punic, just hodl on: September 30, 2022, 01:56:32 AM
As the market is speculative by its development, we can see uncertain market movements often. The easiest way to overcome the uncertainty is through holding. Everyone doesn't have the patience to experience the best out of the investment.

With stocks people believe, but with cryptocurrency when the market moves down there arises a panic whether it'll recover or not. When the investment is over the trusted list of altcoins, nothing to get panic.
well, holding is definitely one solution in this problem. only, it needs to meet certain criteria. like, we're holding the right coin. if we don't hold the right coin, then holding can backfire on us. maybe, for popular coins like bitcoin, ethereum, bnb, sol, and other popular coins, holding can be a solution in crypto problems. however, for new altcoins, or less well-known coins, we need to rethink, and hold back because they are based on good information. some things from my experience hold altcoins like that, most of them all lose their price.
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum price get to 4,000 in 2022 on: September 29, 2022, 05:31:09 AM
If you look at the market conditions that have not recovered as now then I am pessimistic that the price of $ 4000 can be achieved, if the market can rise and determinant the market is Bitcoin can reach 2x or around $ 36K from now then the possibility of ETH prices can reach $ 2500.
realistic as after the merging? looks like Etehreum is going nowhere close to that price mate ,  4,000 price for this year alone isn't coming at any chance and I don't wanna make ethereum supporters that sad but that is how the market is showing now , this month the merge happens but look at the price? still struggling to even break 1,500$
well, it looks like the ethereum retainer needs to be patient again. however, the $4k price target is still pretty far at the moment, and we're almost in Q4 of the year. the chance to see ethereum price hit $4k is slimming down. in fact, after this I'm pretty sure that the ethereum price boost could occur when the bitcoin price also recovers. it's just that the price increase is still possible for now, even if it doesn't reach the $4k price, but at least the recovery still has the potential to happen later this year.
648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My feelings after 11 years with crypto. on: September 28, 2022, 08:29:31 AM
pretty much the same people story as you buddy. many people regret not sticking with what they believed at the time. in fact, when you see a documentary about bitcoin, they all stop believing in bitcoin. Scattered FUDs are so hard to resist. In addition, many also stop believing because of urgent economic needs. Well, each of us has a story of regret in the crypto world, and I have one too. anyway, I'm trying to fix that at the moment. although I'm re-accumulating assets bit by bit, I think it's good enough to hold on to longer term again.
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: September 28, 2022, 04:41:20 AM
Without any bias mind ETH is more better to hold than BNB.
BNB is more better in aspect of transaction it is more cheaper and smarter and faster to use in terms of transaction, Eth is a bit sucking most at times with their transaction fees. It has partially affected me whereby any project that is being built on ETH i don't find pleasing to run their campaign.
well, if it weren't for fees, people would definitely not hesitate to choose ethereum over BNB. it's just that, because of the consideration of a fairly high fee, people are still considering BNB. however, apart from that, I also prefer ethereum over BNB because I firmly believe that the price of ethereum can rise higher than BNB. other than that, given the current state of doubt, I think people will prefer ethereum over BNB. Well, but if you can choose both, you should choose both. both are very good coins at the moment.
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins will not survive the bear market? on: September 27, 2022, 09:51:08 AM
It's quite difficult to define a coin that died from a dump, because for now, many projects are priced even lower than their initial released prices. other than that, dead coins are coins that have absolutely no price, and were abandoned by their developers and investors alike. however, if a dump occurs, there are a lot of coins whose prices fall but are still retained by the developers as well as some of their investors. we can't judge a coin that dies before it actually happens. it's just that, people will assume a coin dies if the price of a coin can no longer be saved, or returns to its original price.
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A good news or a bad news on: September 27, 2022, 05:01:17 AM
This is a good news if Tether USDT can present a valid proof that backing there Digital USD so that crypto users will finally have peace of mind that they are not doing shady things but this is indeed a bad news if they can’t present anything to backed there USDT in the bank because USDT holder will be on panic mode that will result to depegging of the token same on what happened to Luna.
it would be great if they could show proof that USDT is really backed with valid assets, and that would also refute all kinds of negative news from USDT. it's just that, if they can't provide evidence, it can have a huge impact considering that USDT is one of the most volume assets today. this may affect the level of confidence in other stable coins. however, I expect good results from this. a good outcome of this is likely to make confidence in the crypto world increase.
652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need to know!!! Afterburner $ARB Token on: September 26, 2022, 08:00:19 AM
The developers called that as anti dump mechanism which is a very dumb mechanism. People able to buy with all of their money instantly but the developers were limiting them to sell. The developers of afterburner pure scammers. People must be careful. Anti dump mechanism was bs that used by team to fool the investors. They have control over it,. I have seen such mechanism before, the dev was trying to get more and more liqudiity and they will dump their own token
I've also just heard of such a system, and it sounds like a system that cheats investors. imagine, if an investor invests $1k in the project, and to sell his assets, he can only get 3% per day, and that means, every day, 3% of the total assets he owns keep decreasing. for example when he has $1000 ARB, and 3% of that is 30$, so he has $970 ARB remaining. The next day, he couldn't withdraw any more $30 ARB, but that was 3% of $970, or about $29.1, and it was going down every day.
It's pretty funny. as you said, the investor buys it instantly, and when the investor wants to sell the asset, it can't be done. it's like the Dev is not ready to risk a dump. this also makes me think that the devs are not confident with the project they are developing, because they predict that investors will sell their assets instantly. therefore, they do this.
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple (XRP) goes up, Bitcoin stays flat or even lose value on: September 26, 2022, 04:47:12 AM
well, I will not replace bitcoin investment with XRP, even I think most crypto users will think the same. better, if you want to invest in XRP, then create a new portfolio instead of replacing the old portfolio. other than that, it's only natural that the price of XRP goes up because of that and this has nothing to do with bitcoin losing its value. in fact, I still strongly believe that the price of XRP is also affected by the price of bitcoin. when the price of bitcoin goes down, it will affect the price of XRP, but if the price of XRP goes down, I'm pretty sure it won't affect the price of bitcoin.
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins that fell below negative 100% this bear market on: September 25, 2022, 07:53:10 AM
to be honest, no one thought that the price of Terra Luna would be like this. this enormous drop made him disintegrate in no time. this makes us all wary about the crypto assets we hold, and think like "after this, what more coins will fall". Basically, we won't know about it until the CEO of the project doesn't pay attention to the project they have anymore. other than that, I think that the fall of Luna might be something that makes us more careful in investing. however, to date, I've only chosen coins like bitcoin, ethereum or Bnb for large investments, and I haven't invested too much over a long period of time in coins other than that. I did this because I was aware that something like Luna would happen again.
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Good Crypto Exchanges With Cheap Listing Fees on: September 25, 2022, 04:39:44 AM
Hello I am looking for a reputable crypto exchange with good 24 hr. volume/trading and a fairly reasonably priced or free listing. If you have any with some of their listing prices or fees please list them here below. Thanks again.
maybe DEX is the best place for that. as far as I know, to list on the CEX, requires quite a lot of money, and the better and the quality of the CEX, the higher the fee required. If you want quality, then you need to spend a lot of money for it. If you want to quickly list the coins so that they can be traded, then DEX might be good enough to start with, but if you are targeting CEX, I don't recommend looking for cheap ones, and it might be more memorable when the coins you have listed are the first popular CEXs.
656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How I feel about play to earn games on: September 24, 2022, 02:12:01 PM
At the end of it all no play to earn games can gives player the satisfying reward they deserve, there is no unlimited reward in play to earn games, the only thing that matters is how fun the game can get, people needs to feel like ' well I am ok with the fun more than the payout' its not how much people are going to be earning its how much fun people will have. The game needs to be addicting enough. Am I wrong?
You're not wrong, that's the essence of playing games. however, some people want to experience both. Many people want to play a good game while making a profit. until now, people are still waiting for it to happen. it's just that, some games that I've played like Axie infinity, and also Plant vs Undead are pretty cool games. however, since Axie and PVU aren't as big of a profit at the moment as they were in the early releases, people are starting to leave it behind now. however, people who invest in an NFT game want to profit from the game while playing the game.
however, if you're just looking for fun from playing games, such as stories, graphics, and so on, I think it's been around for a long time on consoles like playstation, nintendo, or something else.
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get rid of useless tokens on: September 24, 2022, 04:37:40 AM
Unfortunately it can't. If the token is dusting it's better not to do anything. if you try to transact anything with token dusting it will cost you assets in your wallet. Usually what I do if my wallet is sent a useless token or a scam token, I immediately replace a new wallet and move the assets to make it more secure. token dusting usually comes in because we often follow airdrops, so we have to be careful.
moving it to another wallet is a good thing to do if you have a lot of coins like that. however, personally, in my BSC wallet, there are so many types of such coins, and I prefer to do nothing with them. well, i know that it is a scam coin. the only good way is to move it to another wallet. however, there is no guarantee that the person will not send it to our new wallet. other than that, one of the reasons why these coins are also often sent in our wallets is because we have posted our wallet addresses somewhere, or basically the people who own the coins are also looking for victims for the dust coins they made.

659  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are we going to recover or continue to dump? on: September 02, 2022, 02:02:56 AM
IMO, we are still in a bear market, and haven't made a recovery yet, and in fact, the worst situation is that we will still experience a dump. however, we can use this to collect the crypto that we are targeting at a fairly cheap price. in addition, recovery is likely to occur this year as well. I think that a recovery is possible by the end of this year, and it could be a gradual increase in early 2023.
660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Currency acceptance Everywhere on: September 01, 2022, 09:25:53 AM
This is a pretty good development, that nowadays many small businesses are also accepting crypto as a payment alternative. this happens because many people have realized that this is a profitable thing and not at all detrimental. sometimes people just want to do real transactions from crypto, and many small entrepreneurs are aware of that. I hope, this can also be one of the positive things that trigger greater development of the crypto world.
