Have you actually used qhoster? I would be interested to hear a review on the level of service they provided.

I don't know what this video is, but the Rothschild family isn't giving out investment advice on Youtube.

Jaxx will probably have Monero integration in the next couple weeks or maybe a month. A few more months for an official GUI wallet probably. I'm sure someone here knows the approximate dates.

I'm a bit wary of Bitfinex myself, I'm actually amazed that they were able to stay in business after the hack. Have there been any updates to their trying to negotiate with the theif? I haven't heard much about that recently.
Anyways, I'm glad I've been mining my couple Monero. I wish I owned more. I really believe that this coin is the future. If anything can compete with Bitcoin in the next few years, its probably XMR.

Price increase is due to being listed on Bitfinex? Just got home from work to a 15% increase on Poloniex.

I'm going to pick up a bit of extra Bitcoin just in case Mega really does something big here. All we need is one big service to start using BTC for a huge jump in user base, which (should) naturally lead to a big increase in price. I would love for it to be iTunes or Amazon or someone, but Mega seems like the most likely candidate, right now at least.

Never. But only because I started using Bitcoin when I was older. If I was a teenager I probably would not be so cautious. Just remember- don't trust anyone on the internet.

I'm sure Monero or Ethereum would become the next coin that got used. Investors in these coins would be very happy because they would probably make 10x profits overnight.

Interesting. I'll have to follow this account and see if they post anything else in the coming days/ weeks. Guess I'll have to finally make a Bittrex account.

Losing a couple dollars is not the end of the world. The project still has some great ideas and may gain some upwards movement when projects like Augur are finished.
But the main issue is that the coin is still just used for trading and investment. You can't actually DO anything with ETH yet. Which is why I was surprised that companies like Coinbase started selling it. At least with Bitcoin and to a MUCH lesser extent Monero you can spend coins on goods.

Glad to see the price still at 61 Satoshi on Yobit, and good volume in trading. Might be a good long-term investment!

Great pics. I would love some information about what coins you are mining, monthly electricity costs, investment costs, and predicted time to ROI on some of these setups.

Yeah it sounds more like a way to force users to remove those coins without having to delist them, because no one is going to pay these outrageous fees. Pretty ridiculous tactics if this email is accurate.

Even a few weeks ago, I would have said a drop to $500 was impossible. But now I could actually see that happening. I would honestly rather invest in Monero than BTC unless I hear some good news. Too much drama surrounding segwit, unconfirmed transactions and the block size debate.

We did it! 540% difficulty block found! Great pool by the way. Anyone looking to mine Monero in US East should definitely check out this pool.

22 hours since last block found? I've had really good luck with this pool until today. Do we need a voodoo dance to get some good luck going?

Can someone who knows about this setup speak on the reasons to use Javascript over PHP? PHP is the standard when it comes to forums, especially. Wondering what the performance, security, etc is like in comparison.

Bitcoin is a solid investment, and if I put aside $20 or $50 then I have to be more mindful of my spending. It's good to stay responsible and save for your future, rather than only thinking about what you want right now. Teaching young people to save for their future through small investments in Bitcoin etc is a good learning tool.

Yobit is good for small/ new coins, some are pumped and have huge upswings so you can make a huge profit, but be careful because pumps get dumped fast. Poloniex is one of the bigger sites. Good design and lots of active coins.
Those are the two I have used the most, and have never had a problem with either.

I feel like Monero might be a good long-term investment. I dont know if it will ever reach $100, but it could, and the chance that it at least hits the $10 to $20 range seems pretty high.
