641  Economy / Speculation / Happy new year 2017 if Bitcoin price reaches 2000 dollars on: December 31, 2016, 04:38:36 PM
I don't think the price will double this year at 2000USD, what I can say it should probably be more around 1000USD to 1500USD. I think some events that could happen in 2017 can boost the price as the same thing happened in 2016.

Ma magic ball tell me let see what happen Wink
642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you regret spending money on this year? on: December 31, 2016, 04:25:55 PM
I have no regret about spending money on the bitcoin ecosystem, the only regret I got scammed twice with bitcoin programs on my smartphone. When you ask for a withdrawal and you wait for a payment, but in the end you know you will not receive it, it's frustrating.

At least a good thing happened this year, my bitcoin blog is growing slowly Wink
643  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: December 31, 2016, 12:07:14 AM
maybe, but even bitcoin being popular as the way it is,,tbh Gold is more valuable. need a mores reason to make Bitcoin as stable currency.the point is,,Bitcoin just likes a Season,,
I think the view of most users who rely on bitcoin prices to make a profit, they are very dependent on fluctuations to get untun everyday, of course, if the price of bitcoin becomes stable. a lot of users will abandon bitcoin right?

If the price stays stable, a lot of people will find it boring as an investment like the day trading. I think those who speculate only on the price in order to make a profit will leave if the price stays stable for a long time. Otherwise, for those who use it to get pay online and transfer money, will continue to use it.
644  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-12-30] New Image Hosting Service Pays Thousands of Uploaders in Bitcoin on: December 30, 2016, 11:55:52 PM

645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what application do you use for usage bitcoin ? on: December 30, 2016, 04:43:29 PM

646  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-12-28] Telegraph: Bitcoin price at record high against pound and euro on: December 30, 2016, 04:27:42 PM
bitcoin's trend is clearly up, in 2017 I think it will reach $2000. More and more people discovered and gets interested in bitcoin, thus pushing the price higher, as bitcoin is deflationary, it will certainly go much higher.

Yes it is totally going up, but I am skeptical about $2,000 next year. I hope it does reach it though. But I think there would first be a correction and after that it will sky rocket. It has been rising exorbitantly for the pass couple of days and we should expect a quick correction then followed by the continuance of that rise.

To reach 2000$ in 2017 I don't think so, the price can't double every year. I know everybody is happy that the price continues to claim, claim and never stop to reach the sky. What I think the price could be around more 1000USD to 1500USD, I think the price should increase slowly instead of big jump.
647  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-12-29]Bitpesa Allows African Businesses to Trade with Chinese Counterparts on: December 30, 2016, 04:16:10 PM
We don't need to forget that China needs the resources on the African continent, and expand the infrastructure in Africa with trade in technology. The trade between this two will be beneficial for both parties involved and Africa will save money on money transfer.

Also, bitcoin will expand Wink
648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What do you like best about bitcoin? on: December 30, 2016, 04:08:55 PM
What I like the most is the limited supply and the purchasing power that increase over time. I find unbelievable that simple numbers on my wallet can have actually real value and can be exchanged for any services or stuff accordingly. The person who invented it is a real genius and creative mind from my point of view.
649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: actual number of people using Bitcoin? on: December 30, 2016, 04:03:02 PM
We can't know everything what is happening on the internet, especialy having in mind the deep web so it's hard to make any estimation. Still with overal acceptance and especialy with high price the number of users is probably increasing and people are changing their opinion about the Bitcoin for the better.

A rising price of BTC does is not necessarily caused by the increasing number of users. This might be an empty pump from the rich traders who dont have anything better to do with their free time. Please keep that in mind.

That can be one of the causes of the price increase in bitcoin lately, but I think the population who is using bitcoin is also increasing with the time. I can't estimate what is the real number who actually using it, but we start to see more place who accept bitcoin.
650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What are your good intentions regarding Bitcoin in 2017? on: December 30, 2016, 03:55:17 PM
My intention is to continue to build my blog about bitcoin and make it a nice place to find information for the bitcoin community. I want to continue on expanding my knowledge on the area that involves the cryptocurrency world and the blockchain (I know is only a layer in the bitcoin Wink).

Furthermore, I plan to buy a Trezor as soon I will reach 300CDN in bitcoin value.
651  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: December 29, 2016, 03:56:04 PM
I now have all the savings invested in different projects. Some of the projects with little or no risk, but in spite of that, I do not keep the money just idle

There are no such thing as no risk investment, there is always a risk to every investment even if it is only a small risk however most of the time when people said that there is a small risk investment the return rate for that investment is also low so it is totally not worth the time to keep money in such investment while some better investment exist

You are right that in any investment they have a part of the risk involved. But, if you know on what your invest and you have a deep knowledge of the market, you reduce the risk considerably.

I think a person need to have a mix of both, you need to save a little to have access to money in case of an emergency. Also, you need to have investments for the sole purpose to grow your money over time for the future.
652  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: December 29, 2016, 03:44:40 PM
With the current situation, I don't think the price will go back at 100USD. The situation is going better for bitcoin with all the turmoil around the world right now, and I think is going to reach the mainstream population. If you wait to see the price to reach this amount before buying, I think you going to have white hair Wink
653  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in India? Not for a LOOOOONG time. on: December 29, 2016, 03:35:53 PM
Well yeah you are right . Indians do participate in many online jobs and we invest in BTC and other related things but given the population of 130 crore only 1% or 1.5% are aware of BTC , the remaining have no idea about it ,so yes India is still behind most of the other countries .

The level of Bitcoin awareness in India is almost the same as in other developing nations such as China and Brazil. The percentage might be small, but the overall numbers are quite high, due to the huge population.

I'm pretty sure the vast majority of people in India I not aware of the existence of bitcoin. But a good percentage of India receive they payment in bitcoin for the stuff they do online and exchange it into they local currency. As you may know, a lot of people speak English there and is one of the top countries that is doing outsourcing for the west countries.

Should not be long they will ask to be pay only in bitcoin Wink
654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: December 29, 2016, 02:54:04 PM
Gambling is something that needs some luck and analysis, but in short, you can try your chances with small amounts. But you absolutely must not be addicted. Hyip is something I have never recommended. First of all to me, trade is the most important and one of the next steps.

Gambling is not a way to earn Bitcoins. On the other hand, it is a way to lose Bitcoins. It is an addiction, which must be avoided at any cost. Personally, I know several people who lost their life savings as a result of their addiction to gambling.

I agree that gambling you should always do it for fun and not in the hope of getting rich. In the long run is the owner of the casino that will make the profit from you own pocket, people always continue and lose.

Right now my best source of income is from my signature campaign that I participate on this forum.
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What is the best way, risky investion or safe investion long term? on: December 28, 2016, 11:31:14 PM
I would invest for example 70% and bitcoins and 20% in altcoins. The rest I would invest in a startup in the blockchain ecosystem and study the one that can promise to go big, I will follow my guts. The must important, don't put all in the same basket, because if one investment fail, at least you have other that can cover you.
656  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: December 28, 2016, 03:36:41 AM
To make a steady income you need to have some skills like Web designing, Android development,C programming etc.By these skills you can easily find a job in online. Many freelancing sites offers workers to do those job.You can earn a good amount like 2000$+ with this way.
I think most the people here in this forum have their real job, very little number of people may have no job in real world, as for  me  I am a lecturer and getting a steady salary from there, but still I like to invest in bitcoin, I consider my bitcoin income as secondary and part time job.
I was also have a job but after when I came to bitcoin I found it more beneficial and then I adopted the holding and trading of bitcoin as my primary job and from there I am earning a good income. Maybe in the future I will be able to start some online services from my own.

You should not risk your real job but totally shifting into bitcoin. Because you the more source of income you have the better and it will give you steady income with your everyday life. Because by staying employed to a company makes you beneficial for the incentives that you will receive and by your marketing with your different skills.

I think it is okay if his current activity gives him more than his current job and they have time conflict.  But I think he needs to think of it deeply if he will benefit from his decision in the long run or he just need a proper time management to do both to have more earnings.
I agree with you as nowadays people often can handle only one job so if a person is getting higher profit from bitcoin then why they waste their time in other places to earn lower. We will have to make our time more beneficial and precious by working on those places from where we are getting high profit.
There is many ways honestly that you can earn a good amount in bitcoin we just need to be smart because if you are not study what you are doing you can not earn a large amount like blogging that honestly it can gives you passive income in the future if you can build your own blog and get organic traffic from many search engine and social media..  in my experience if you study blogging and monetize your site you earn a good passive or stead y income in blogging. do not stay in one thing because i experience to stay earnings in one source until i found  a steady income like blogging.. i have other source trading is one of the best but it takes long time before you can make good profit..

But creating blog for those people who are going to start that will have a very hard time to get some profit out of it. And for those people who are already in that industry and knows how the blogging marketing goes. They are the only ones who are earning passive income with it but that is inspiring if you are going to make yourself as one of the best bloggers.

I am in the process of building a blog and I must tell you the truth, in the beginning, you have to do a lot of things. You need to write the content, you need to build the traffic, build your social network, communicate with the people. You don't make passive income, in the beginning, I think it takes some time before I will start to see the result of my effort.
657  Economy / Speculation / Re: Once we hit $1000, how far will BTC drop? on: December 28, 2016, 03:26:50 AM
With $1000 in the not too distant future and the ensuing sell off (I'm sure many consider this a psychological target to sell 20-50% of their bitcoins for profit, if only to re-invest after the drop).

The question is: after $1000, just how far do you think BTC will drop back? Could we see the days of $500 from August again, or are we stable above $800-900?

I personally think the opposite. I think that $1000 is a mental barrier for investors and once they see that barrier is broken they will accumulate like crazy. There is little chance that they will dump when they've seen what bitcoin can do, going from $400 to $1000 in a year.

We're not that far away, already $935~.

I think the price could reach the psychological barrier of 1000$, we are so near to reach it. The price can drop not below 800USD from my point because the price has been fairly stable since this summer.

The market will tell us the price in the future.
658  Economy / Speculation / Re: We're at a Canadian ATH, right? on: December 28, 2016, 03:17:10 AM
I am Canadian and I must tell you that is very cool that the price has reached that amount. We have around 30% difference with the US dollar, so is the reason the price is so high.

But, I keep faith to have 1 bitcoin in my wallet soon Wink
659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Largest SUPERWHALES ...... on: December 28, 2016, 02:59:22 AM
I don't know who those people behind those address, but that is a lot in bitcoin stored. Probably early adopters who have the chance to mine when it was easy or some exchange with a lot of hashing power.

But to tell you the truth I don' have any idea Wink
660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AirBNB users en masse ask its CEO to start accepting BTC on: December 27, 2016, 01:10:38 PM
I saw this news on twitter yesterday, if this happens and realizes, should be a good milestone for bitcoins. I would like one day to be able during my travel, reserve a place to sleep with my bitcoins Wink

The best we can, for now, is to wait!
