Is there still any bounty campaign running? In the Opening Page it is writte YES, but ICO seems to be finished, so I am puzzled.
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash Raising! on: November 11, 2017, 09:14:00 PM
Bitcoin has a slow transaction speed and small block size. Bitcoin cash is better. So, many people are transferring BTC to BCH. The prediction price is over $2000 in December.

This is why people should buy Bitcore instead, much better than Bitcoin cash, no comparison. Just a bit less known.
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dcorp Coin. 3x-4x Gains on: November 11, 2017, 09:12:06 PM
Why do you open a thread only with a link? Without explaining anything. That's basically spam.
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum SCAM? on: November 11, 2017, 09:10:35 PM
I have not understood a single word of what is written here, perhaps it it would be written in English I would get it.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🐈🐈[PussyCoin]🐈🐈 AIRDROP 🙀 on: November 11, 2017, 09:00:45 PM
I am the proud owner of some Pussy. Now what?
(if I keep the Pussy until it matures will it increase or lose its value?)
How many holders of Pussy are there by now?
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin Pops and Altcoins Spike, Then BTC Has More Legitimacy on: November 11, 2017, 08:36:41 PM
I am afraid the first option would be more likely, even though I hope for the second one. The last bear market in 2014-2015 it was like that.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Name of a new coin on: November 11, 2017, 08:35:37 PM
I think you should give the coin the name of your  company or similar - Aurorabaltika or Baltikaurora. More personalized and less generic = better branding
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - BLOOM - ONLINE - new virtual fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin on: November 11, 2017, 08:24:53 PM
I am amazed how BTX is always  keeping the price, regardless of the turmoils which affect either BTC or altcoins... Signals of good things ahead
669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash Raising! on: November 11, 2017, 08:23:35 PM
Either people are losing faith in the scalability of Bitcoin in the future, or someone is speculation of the fact that people may think that people are losing faith...
670  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Devastation on: November 10, 2017, 12:30:07 AM
This is an interesting thread but with some garbage spam posts which should better be cleaned out.
To the theme, the economic devastation is nowadays caused by financial catastrophes. While economics is something very real, financial issues are totally imaginary, but their virtuality suffice to cause effects also in the real world, alas.
671  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Dark Enlightenment on: November 10, 2017, 12:19:32 AM
Where does the term Dark Enlightenment come from? Inspired by the pugnacious writings of Mencius Moldbug, the prolific blogger who serves as the movement’s unofficial center of gravity, the neologism is the creation of philosopher Nick Land. In 2012, Land wrote an impressively thorough manifesto titled simply The Dark Enlightenment, which boldly articulates the movement’s central thesis: “For the hardcore neo-reactionaries, democracy is not merely doomed, it is doom itself. Fleeing it approaches an ultimate imperative.” The essay continues, ”[Neo-reaction] conceives the dynamics of democratization as fundamentally degenerative: systematically consolidating and exacerbating private vices, resentments, and deficiencies until they reach the level of collective criminality and comprehensive social corruption.”

Dark Enlightenment is something I was still missing, even though I am usually up to date with these new models. Label is mind boggling, but I still have to verify the content, to check if there is poison hidden inside.
672  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the next crypto coin that will shake the world? on: November 10, 2017, 12:14:28 AM
no doubts bro. it is already in the market and got the 2nd place. it is "Ethereum". I think people are using ETH more than BTC now.

It is true that Ethereum has just shaken the world as the second Parity bug has deprived people of 300 Million $ worth of Ether due to the mistake of a Newbie messing up with contracts. Perhaps this is not exactly what you were thinking at...
673  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Taxes on: November 10, 2017, 12:02:35 AM
So my question is... What do we want, in the US and everywhere, as a proper tax scheme for crypto?

Nowadays, everyone will agree that Bitcoin is behaving more like an investment asset rather than as a currency. So my opinion is that any profits from crypto-to-fiat trade must be treated as capital gains. Depending on the duration of the investment, we can classify the gains as short term capital gains or long term capital gains and tax them accordingly.

I see your point, but what to do with the losses? There are years of bear market where you end up losing most of what you have, does the state refund you a part of those? Does it allow you to detract these losses when you then have gains in some later year? I don't think so. They just want to suck your blood. I won't endorse that.
674  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Prove you are not a bot. on: November 09, 2017, 11:57:54 PM
I can send you my personal tax bills. I doubt that bots get taxed by the sate, or at least not the way I get taxed. But I can't show you my tits, I'm sorry Smiley
675  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think about Germany and Europe? on: November 09, 2017, 11:53:23 PM
There is a policy of divide and rule behind this policies which favors immigration, and it is not native of the countries who apply it - it comes from outside. It is a complex issue.
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sewgit2x for better or for worse? on: November 09, 2017, 02:21:39 PM
No more Segwit2x. Altcoins are starting to rise. All the million dollars invested in Bitcoin in the last month will pass through the altcoins and they will experience the most beautiful period.

This looks like really the end of a nightmare for altcoin holders (like me). RIP Segwit2x, you have done already enough damage to our pockets Smiley
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any bounty campaigns for Newbies? on: November 09, 2017, 02:20:27 PM
This is actually a very useful thread which should ideally be always easy to find as many people who are Newbies would typically need it as they enter bitcointalk for their first times. Bounty campaigns for Newbies are rare and precious.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A newbie just killed Ethereum on: November 09, 2017, 01:48:12 PM
Shocked Shocked daaamn , what happend ? This will get ethereum to drop so hard in the next days/weeks , time to move to ethereum classic I guess Smiley). If this is for real then all the ethereum holders will have to suffer from that mistake.

A newb turned a smart contract into a multi-sig wallet, declared ownership and suicided it destroying the library that multi-sig wallets depend on making all the ETH frozen for good.

And with newb I mean; yes, litterally a newb. Apparantly he isn't quite aware of what he did and I think he's scared because he basically just burned like 500k-800k Ethereum (100-300 million USD)

That's not bad for his biography. Not many people in the world have the power of destroying 300 million dollars at will. He'll end up in the Guinness of Records.
679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who uses myetherwallet? on: November 09, 2017, 01:45:26 PM
By now, especially after the very recent second Parity fuck-up,  the question is "who is still NOT using myetherwallet?" Smiley By the way, which are the alternatives now? (reliable ones)
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves future on: November 09, 2017, 01:43:54 PM
Price is recovering , let's hope that this is the end of this little ice age where we had to witness Waves suffering in the shadow of Bitcoin's rally.
