661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge is the foundation on: June 14, 2018, 01:44:05 AM
It is needful to say that before the completion of a magnificent building, it starts from the foundation, therefore, to excel as a crypto enthusiast you must start from the foundation, which is through the acquisition of knowledge.
I will not deny the fact that learning is a continuous process, but whoever is coming newly into crypto, should try as much as possible to learn first the rudiments before venturing into any aspect of crypo in order to avoid making costly mistakes.
What you already know cannot be taken away from you...
So, start from the foundation today and get the best from the crypto space.
Not only in crypto, but I think your principle is universal. Acquiring the basic foundations is always the start of any ventures or undertakings. In the fast developing technology of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, having the foundation is always a powerful tool.
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins to buy? on: June 14, 2018, 01:41:02 AM
Hey guys, market looks healthier and healthier so I want to buy some altcoins. Can you recommend me some altcoins, which you think are going to reach mars soon?

Any altcoins in the top 10 or even in the top 20 has a lot of potential to make it big in the coming months. Aside from ethereum, I am especially following altcoins like NEO ans EOS as they are getting wider and wider support from the crypto community.
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do? on: June 12, 2018, 09:37:23 AM
When some crypto pump up, 200% is just normal. In my case I would look at the trend before I hodl or sell. If the trend is still going up, l might hodl more. But if I see a downward trend then I would sell as I have already gained from my investment
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest profit from an AirDrop? on: June 12, 2018, 09:29:35 AM
Receiving anything from airdrop is already a profit because it is free. But for the biggest profit, the airdrop from Hydro was the biggest. I was able to trade the tokens I received around 0.133 btc. which is really big considering its free. If I hodl it longer I could have received higher.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still use MEW? on: June 08, 2018, 03:05:10 AM
Yes. Despite the hacking report before, I still use MEW. But I use metamask on it for added security. So far MEW provides me a secured and stable wallet andI have not found an alternative erc20 wallet to transfer to
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe in ICO Ratings? on: June 07, 2018, 07:54:06 AM
Checking ICO ratings provides a speedy guide to joining ICOs. But as I have observed this does not necessarily equates that the ICO will be succesful after. I think there are other factors in ICO that review sites does not consider. So I think it is important that you do more research and analysis about the project.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you picky with ICOs? on: June 07, 2018, 07:45:59 AM
Because I right away join ICOs once I see it has a good rating in ICO review sites. But I realize good rating doesnt necessarily equates to a successful investments. So it is really important that you do also some personal research about the ICO.
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge for Newbie on: June 07, 2018, 07:30:34 AM
For newbie, I would suggest that you research and learn about the trade as much as possible before investing or trading crypto. Patience and timing is important in this business to be successful in this business.
669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I continue to invest? on: June 05, 2018, 02:56:40 PM
ICO is a good investment opportunity but recently coin values are much lower in exchange than when it was bought in ICO. I think the current market trend is affected by Bitcoin's price which is very bearish. Despite that, there are still some and rare ICO that becomes bullish in the market. Maybe I would suggest to be more particular in the project and the team running the ICO net team so you can select those rare gems.
670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why wouldn't you invest on ripple? on: June 05, 2018, 02:51:45 PM
I dont like the idea of a centralized coin like Ripple. Unlike many other popular cryptocurrencies, XRP is not mined. The company is centralized in many ways. There are whopping 100 billion coins in existence, and they were created by the company Ripple.
Despite it, Ripple has been fast growing and is currently at a market cap of just about $7.7bn. This means that the current circulating supply of about 38.5 billion XRP is trading at around $0.2 each.
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using ETH for? on: June 01, 2018, 04:20:11 PM
I call ethereum my everyday coin. It's the crypto that I use most of the time in almost all my crypto dealing. Trading from one coin to another, investing in ICO projects, and other crypto activities. The flexibility and security of using ethereum make me use it most of the time among all my coins.
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: June 01, 2018, 04:10:26 PM
Im holding my crypto assets on both platform. I have crypto in my wallet for long term holdings. I have also crypto in different exchange for daily trading. Being there saves my from transaction fees from transferring my crypto back and forth.
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why KYC needed for ICO ? on: June 01, 2018, 04:00:50 PM
KYC was first introduced in banking system which was eventually carried over to cryptocurrency industry. Know Your Customer or the Anti-Money Laundering process is a due diligence process by which a company can verify the identity of its customers, making sure that the money they wish to send was acquired legitimately and that the customer is not a part of a sanctioned list, a criminal, a terrorist, or a corrupt organisation.
Essentially it was created for ICO to know their customer and check if they belong to countries not allow to deal with crypto.
674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After a Bad Sell on: May 31, 2018, 03:13:01 AM
So this happened to me twice this week, first I sold Bitcoin Cash and the next day, it started booming and has not up considerably and still going strong, then I sold Golem and boom it goes too.

What do you do in such situations? When you finally sell for a small profit after a long wait but then you realize that you missed on big profit with you bad timing.
How do you deal with this? Any tips to minimize this or overcome after such bad timing decisions?

this happens to me quite a lot also. this is because cryptocurrency is speculative and really unpredictable. or maybe I just lack research of the coins I m selling. That is why it's important to look at the intangible things behind the coins so will have an idea if it is going to dump or pump.
675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: May 31, 2018, 03:07:35 AM
I think most people are selling altcoins so soon is because of the fear of dumps. Especially when coins become listed or hyped on the market. Price of the specific crypto abruptly high so hodler sell right away to gain from their investments as its price will steeply fall after dumpers sell their coins. just my observations
676  Local / Altcoin Announcements (Pilipinas) / Re: [PH-ANN]🚀BITDRIVE🚀UNANG PLATAPORMA NG BLOCKCHAIN BATAY SA RIDESHARING NG MUNDO on: May 30, 2018, 12:31:55 PM

So far wala akong alam na ibang ICO o projects mula dun. This a good start to educate people there. Sana magtagumpay ang proyektong eto para marami pang blockchain project na sumunod.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose bounty? on: May 30, 2018, 12:16:13 PM
There are so many ways to choose bounties that pay. Before, I always check website and whitepapers. But right now my first step I make before participating bounties is checking the track record of the bounty manager or mangement running it. There are some bounty managers who really see to it that their bounty participants are paid.

680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Altcoins Survive on: May 29, 2018, 01:59:10 PM
Altcoins will survive and will be here to stay for a long time. But maybe only a few of the thousands existing right now. Some altcoins right now are purely for hype that eventually will not sustain the industry in the long run.
