Seem like bitcoin is trampling hard on altcoins which still is disappointing to me, i thought the last bitcoin dominance is the beginning of altcoin ride since ethereum sees a bit growth from it but i was wrong all along, lets be all patience for now and hope things change for the better

Its been long since i have come to understand that bitcoin can't survive for long without altcoins, would have been a different case if bitcoin was created to be the mother of all chains, like been able to run other coins on bitcoin itself but without new altcoins there is no way for crypto to reach (its hoped) for milestone

If you understand the way Warren Buffett invests, you'll realize why he doesn't like bitcoin--it's not a business, doesn't have earnings, doesn't pay a dividend, and is totally at the mercy of market forces (unlike a stock which can gain in value if the underlying business grows). Plus he doesn't view bitcoin as solving any of his problems. He's a value investor. Always was and will be until the day he dies.
As far as Gates is concerned, I don't know exactly what he's said about cryptocurrency but my guess is that he doesn't have to invest in it and, because it's so damn volatile, would probably lose a hell of a lot of money if he did. Ultra-wealthy people tend to try to protect their wealth instead of gambling on high-risk investments. I think at least Gates has an appreciation of bitcoin and the technology behind it, but it's just not something he needs in his portfolio.

You probably have entered a wrong word or your derivation path is different. You could use this tool https://github.com/iancoleman/bip39 to test for different derivation path, Make sure you use it offline. I hope you didn't lose a lot. Hope the guy is not a newbie, its not easy to use iancoleman at all, he can easily get lost, for someone who don't know how to rip off private keys for each address they create i bet it will be hard but nit impossible, you could have drop link for iancoleman tutorial |

It might surprise you to know that some of the photos you see as the face developers are not even the people behind it. Most photos are made up, and same as the names.
There may not be any straight forward way to prevent them from setting up scam projects to suck people dry but one of the best way to prevent this is for investors to stop falling into their pit.
If investors do not pay them attention, they don't gain anything and simply close up the project.
Only those who are willing to do researches will find the answers, using google image search is one of the ways to find answers to fake photos from fake teams, most times they use stolen pictures change the names but google image search is smart, it can reveal the real image and real names of photos |

If you put it in a whole context, I think scammers are not the only one to blame, maybe we should also blame ourselves for not doing enough to prevent on not becoming a victim of these kinds of deceitful acts though I also think that these experiences will give us valuable lessons to make us more successful in this industry.

I think you should remove vidycoin, miracletele and xcrypt from the list of succesful bounty projects because miracletele is not in a very good shape now and anytime from now it might end up dead, as for vidycoin and xcrypt many bounty hunters are not fully paid their rewards.
It seems you misinterpreted the statement about XCRYPT, because I personally am one of the social media participants in this project. Browser extensions can only steal browsing cache and data but i haven't seen whereby browser plugin spreading malware and virus, although nothing is impossible, the wallets that are in high risk to browser plugins are online web wallets and metamask plugin extension since they store data in browser data space
