662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does casino streamers have influence in your gambling life? on: December 23, 2023, 05:22:28 PM
lol Grin of course no absolutely not!
practically excluding a single option in which a famous singer acts as a promoter for a singer, I look at this form of streaming with extreme suspicion.
indeed, in some cases I consider it a real form of scam given that I have seen situations in which they won in a disproportionate manner compared to the real statistical chances...likewise with unknown gambling sites and so on....
663  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: December 23, 2023, 05:11:54 PM
....

For example, I am a live betting enthusiast and am looking for all the information about it...likewise options for betting, minimum amount to play, if they have softwares or tools for automated betting and so on...

in the past I have read reviews on specific games (I did a job where I looked for all the sites that had a specific casino games). and in fact it helps a lot!
because if you are looking for a specific option in a game, these are the types of reviews that interest you.

Of course it requires time and only people interested are willing to provide such info.

I read casino reviews mainly if these concern specific games or explain how to use certain bonuses.
For the rest I consider them all practically the same, the functions and mechanisms are the same, I don't expect to see any big differences. of course main info that I want to see are about "withdrawal fees", list of games available, details related support....
667  Economy / Gambling / Re: Responsible gambling on: December 23, 2023, 03:00:12 PM
have a budget or a limit in gambling is a MUST to avoid bad issues.
the second point it's also really important even if it appears to be too simple or obvious...
however this is one of my rules posted some years ago here

...
4° Take a pause between the bet session. Depends in your quality, but every 1-2 hours make a pause where you "breath again", take a look of the previously betting session, drink water Smiley etc....
...

people that doesn't understand discipline in gambling they are doomed to fail Sad
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one did you use to gamble with more on: December 23, 2023, 02:56:07 PM
I only bet on live events.
I rarely make pre-live plays but only to try to do a minimum amount of scalping-bets.
benefiting from this series of events with the right experience (especially with a betting exchange) clearly increases the chances of winning/amount you can win.
with a fair amount of training it's not impossible reach decent results.

673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do casino owners benefit from creating multiple casinos? on: December 22, 2023, 06:30:57 PM
1 slot = gives a certain profit which can practically be multiplied by the number of slots that are present in that casino.
think of it as if it were a "fixed-certain" mathematical rule.
this is a very very simple rule. the more you play at the casino, the more the casino wins!

675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The European Super League on: December 22, 2023, 11:06:26 AM
this idea is very fascinating, a tournament that seems more like something out of a videogame than a real competition in real life.
I wonder if this will actually also guarantee access to this type of competition for "smaller teams".
It would be sad to see only a championship of rich teams....

the aspect linked to betting is very interesting as teams could play with "junior teams" in their home leagues ... aim exclusively to win this competition Roll Eyes

Definite scam since no one can win at that high of a percentage.

you can check the "odds/probability" ratio for yourself and what he wrote is not so impossible (we are 60% vs 80%).
I have found at least 1 group of people able to achieve that results in "long term"... not easy... but not impossible....

it is very curious that OP says he can win "simulated" matches... anyone who knows this series of events knows very well that something like this is practically impossible! It's like "guess what number I am thinking..."...

OP could have presented this site with an account without red trusts (I deliberately ignored it) but in any case, adding "buzzwords", impossible claims, lack of any objective proof are clear signs that something doesn't match...
679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitwise The Year Ahead: 10 Crypto Predictions for 2024 on: December 21, 2023, 07:10:33 AM
...Which prediction excites you the most?

I agree with @electronicash. "Taylor Swift NFT" is actually the most exciting Roll Eyes prediction...
Joke aside, probably to grow user base we need again such "influencers..."
it is true that innovation passes through "these" users...but the next leap will take place thanks to the adoption of the big players (industrial and government)... and this is the prediction that I like most. ---> prediction 5!

Personally, I don't think that these options are mutually exclusive, on the contrary, they are all connected so I would also expect a sort of chain effect... as we have already seen in the past, do you remember the emotion for the first btc-future?

the blockchain is not a simple mechanism for exchanging value (or rather it cannot be used only for that) but it also has other functions ... if this mechanism could overcome the economic value https://www.mail-archive.com/cryptography@metzdowd.com/msg10152.html is not a simple "token" 1:1 vs FIAT... it is clear that a new world awaits us...probably Satoshi was just a modern Prometheus!

680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers trickily claims they wins the bet while they never did. on: December 21, 2023, 06:55:06 AM
this connects to the "first rule"! of bitcoin-world/community.
don't trust, verify!!!
We have seen hundreds of cases like this over the years, even here on the forum. unfortunately it is part of our world... appearing, showing, deceiving... in such an era, bitcoin is the only invention we need.
