661  Economy / Speculation / Re: I sold at the right moment :) on: February 29, 2016, 01:08:25 PM
Did anyone else make a quick hundred bucks? I sold when bitcoin touched $440, and I rebought a few minutes later when the price hit $420. Free monies!
You are lucky, because you see I was unlucky when I bought earlier the price was 480$ and now its not going over 440$ , though I know the price will increase sooner or later, but still , quick profit like yours is good.
662  Economy / Gambling / Re: "richest gambling sites"??? on: February 29, 2016, 12:35:09 PM
Its none other than primedice in my opinion, though they never share their bankroll, but as far as I have gambled and see, that is my personal thinking, other than that I think directbet is also damn rich Tongue
Yes, the richest gambling site without any doubt is DIRECTBET , they offer upto 10-20 BTC on a single win of a sports bet and on dice itself they give upto 7 BTC profit ! I think other than that Primedice is a big one.
663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 29, 2016, 10:28:26 AM
A very very poor performance by pakistan ,, Poor bowling

I'd disagree with this point. They(PAK)'re having a strong bowling attack. They've lost this match 'coz of 'er poor & immature batting, I'd say.

Anyway, for today's match, I'd guess BAN may defeat SL.

I would say SL is stronger than BAN ,, I have big bet on SL ,, and i think SL will beat BAN

Bangladesh have benefit of home ground and Sri Lanka Batting is also very poor, now everything depends on bowling performance of both team.

Why to take risk and bet only on bangladesh i thinkg today both team will come favrite below 50 paise, so that will be more safe to bet on both side high odd so that book will be equall profit no loss.
I am also very sure that Bnagladesh are a much better team than Sri Lanka , basically Sri Lanka used to be a world top team some month ago before the retirement of Sanga and Mahela , the two legends on the team.
664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: February 29, 2016, 10:15:27 AM
in trading there are chart and analysis, if gambling it is based on pure luck

so i dont think its the same
Do you think that market charts are actually always correct? Don't we had major crises, economic recessions, major flops of known companies in the past?
And we had really unknown company from nowhere rise to power in short time. Some things cannot be predicted by reason.
Unknown companies can lose in the long run but big companies always earn more profit and are stable. Trading in stock market is much better than gambling IMO.
665  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen for the price when halving is ended? on: February 29, 2016, 09:45:00 AM
Quote
What will happen to difficulty when halving is ended?
difficulty does not depend on the reward but on how fast the last 2016 blocks were mined. so the halving should not affect this. but the price might. if the price is not enough to make mining profitable for some small time miners they will be forced to stop mining if they want to cut their loses. this will result in decreased difficulty unless some big farms pops out to compensate the hashrate loss.

Quote
Do you think guys the price will increase more than $700?
probably. maybe. hope so.

Quote
If the difficulty will decrease and block rewards will be half into 12.5 BTC
For me the price will not rise it will the same as price today because the difficulty is the problem right now why mining is not profitable
So if difficulty will be half like the block rewards so there's no changes for the price if bitcoin halving is ended. ..
Am i right?
see above.
It's going to be tough for miners which I agree but this may have an affect the confirmation time as well. Will it happen that transactions would need a fee as big as 0.0010- 0.005 for confirmation?

I feel that the prices may increase but we may not reach $700 till July. It may still struggle above $500 like last year.
666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: February 29, 2016, 09:18:27 AM
It can be profitable if you know the game and participate in games there is an actual winning chance.
But you've got to be very skilled and not many of us have this much of talent vs luck.
as long you choose the game that mean for skill not luck like poker
the chance winning is higher than you playing some other game that face the owner bot

How can you so sure about this. The chance of winning is not depends on what games you choose but it from your luck, if you dont have any luck with gambling I dont really think that you could earn that much in some period of time. The games have nothing to do with the outcome you take
You are right but he is not completely wrong. See actually some games are lucky to some people, like when I play plinko , I loose all my money in the blink of a eye, while when I play dice I often win and often loose.
667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is the best future currency? on: February 29, 2016, 08:48:09 AM
For me too bitcoin is the best future currency because it gives lot of simplicity and not much technical issues.
Moreover its anonymous so you never get caught by anyone doing any sort of transaction in btc.
Bitcoins are the best currency ever and even in future will be best because we can do anything we want and at the same time we dont have to pay tax and dont have to fall in long transactions, simple and easy.
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy in Roulette ? on: February 29, 2016, 07:45:05 AM
Just practiced James Bond strategy little bit modified  and it works .

€105 bankroll

- €40 on 2nd 12
- €60 on 19-36
- €5 on zero

Repeat it , once you hit lost it all at small number, tripled it.

one of the stupid strategy i have ever seen. winning 15 € and loosing 105, if you loose at first roll, you have to win several time to take your loose.
Its not that bad, but yeah not the best one as if you loose such bets 2 times, you wont be able to stand on your legs again and hardly would have any money left for gambling, unless you are too rich, dont try this.
669  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: February 29, 2016, 07:29:31 AM
If you have skills here then doing services could earn for a living.

you could also live by doing trading (if you're successful enough)

Yes and altcoin trading can be very very profitable but at the same time can be seriously bad, giving you a big loss and making your decision bad. See the guys who invested in Dogecoins were wise because the price increased very quickly.
670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just booked a trip using BTC on: February 29, 2016, 06:41:16 AM
That's pretty impressive and innovative, I think this is good for both you and them as it saves tax and such issues. I think this would encourage more people to buy and sell such things and more of such ideas will get powered.
671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the maximum amount you keep at a single exchange on: February 28, 2016, 07:45:48 PM
if the exchange sites that are very reliable way you can save 50% of your money in the exchanger. I thought no more of it. possibility to cheat sites could happen. remains cautious.
extremely right, keeping balance in exchange account is too risky. I never keep my balance in exchange account. always cashout them in primary wallet, every time I want to exchange I deposit my money to exchange account. It takes only few minutes. Taking care is better then taking risk.
672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: February 28, 2016, 07:32:11 PM
No, for simple reason that with trading you don't depend on luck as much as you do with gambling.
Investing is the form of gambling (and it is proven that trading or investing can be addiction in the same way gambling could be).
Financial markets can be capricious and unstable to the point you have no idea if odds are against or with you.
The only fact that differentiate gambling and investing is that if you are fast enough you can recover part of your bankroll while investing.
See everything that makes you feel addicted cannot be considered as gambling but still I feel you are right because with trading there is equal risk of loosing and if you call it 100% skill based then you are wrong.
673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much BTC have you gambled? (anonymous on: February 28, 2016, 07:19:18 PM
I have so far gambled some 0.6 bitcoins and I have made a loss of about 0.25 btc , I am so sad that I gambled and made loss, I think the best way to win in gambling is to stay away from gambling.
674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 28, 2016, 07:03:43 PM
I think the World cup t20 matches will be a lot of fun, since in Indian pitches the ball spin a lot and hardly the big hitters like Gayle and all will be in for, rather good players like Steve Smith, Kohli, etc will do much better than these.
675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asia Cup T20 cricket matches discussions and predictions on: February 28, 2016, 06:57:38 PM
What a tremendous performance by Indian bowling side. I thought this match will be very high voltage match but what the pakistan batsman played today it's very disappointed really they played like a road side kids. but After collapse the batting side The great come back with bowling in beginning Mohammad Amir superbly bowled 140+kmh speed with in & out swing bowling indian opners scared to face his bowling but End of the day India won the match by 5 wickets congrats India.

Ya it is true that how much drama created about this match and at the end their was nothing. just like playing with UAE team , pakistan batting was very bad but their bowler amir done a good job but he did not got any support from other bowlers. Virat Kohli played a superb innings by playing very sensible batting according to the situation and won for india.

It was not completely one sided because if M Amir produced another good over like the first over than match would have been very interesting position. We all excepted lot of runs from teams to enjoy the match but it was one of the very low scored game so we didn't like so much. Anyway most of the guys might have own there bet yesterday.
I loved the way Indians played today but I was also very impressed with the way pakistan bowled out. Have any other bowlers bowled 50% of what Amir did, pakistan may have even win the match. Though I am happy with the end result.
Indian are the clear favorites in this tournament and when it comes to t20 the best sides are australia, India and I would say Pakistan, thought pakistan are not consistent . I would bet my money on India to win the whole tournament , but well, other good teams also there so lets not do it.
676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: February 28, 2016, 06:42:22 PM
You can avoid gambling if you get indulge in other activities. You can do some fun activities and such things which keep you away from ambling. I think if you have determination then surely someday you will be able to get away with this addictions!
677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: February 28, 2016, 06:26:36 PM
Many people around me don't know anything about Bitcoin right now, i still trying to advertise this powerful crypto currency and support it, but i think Bitcoin need real tools to be advertised enough worldwide
It’s clear that bitcoin has a long way to go to build its brand and to demonstrate utility. But that does ask the question:
does a lack of understanding mean that it won’t gain usage? Or, asked in another way: even if 80% of people say they never use bitcoin, will there come a point where they use it without realizing it?
678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Blockstream veto the roundtable consensus? on: February 28, 2016, 05:51:00 PM
Proposal reached at the round table consensus was a success for Bitcoin Core and Bitcoin classic.
It will proof to be beneficial in the long term.
679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm trying to create a 100% Bitcoin powered music career. Any tips? on: February 28, 2016, 05:31:32 PM
The only thing you should take care of is to make great music. Success will come if you have talent. Now, I would suggest to forget the whole idea of selling songs. Everybody in the cryptocurrency world is good with computers. We all know how to download music (and movies) for free, and we do. You only need a very basic website, you may not even need one. Being all social networks may be enough. Upload videos of all your performances on Youtube, and add at the end that you'll do concert for BTC.
Many musicians don’t make it because they underestimate and ignore these requirements. They fall victim to only caring about the music — a musicians’ lack of business savvy ends up being their downfall. At the end of the day, even the most talented and virtuosic musician will never be able to make money in a poorly managed music career.
680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: February 28, 2016, 02:12:28 PM
Trading is exactly same as gambling, because either of them cannot guarantee profit and neither of them can even be totally win by skill. I think trading itself is gambling because many people are addicted to trading indeed lol they loose money in trading yet they do it.
