661  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex's taking money from its customers to cover its loss on: March 22, 2020, 11:30:03 PM
I'm surprised that Polo isn't offering to at least compensate in some way, though, given the fault is probably partially on them for offering margin trading on illiquid markets anyways...

...especially when their positions should have automatically closed in the first place.

I'm getting legal advice, and I've received confirmation that pooling losses is illegal.
The default is 100% due to Poloniex's negligence. If the other trading platforms didn't allow margin trading on CLAM, that's because they were smarter.

I suppose most of these people doing this illegal crap don't actually think that the people they're stealing money from are ever going to pursue them in a legal battle, and that's where they're wrong because they could get away by taking lots of people's money but one day they'll come across one person that won't put up with this.

I'm glad you guys have been posting on here, letting everyone here know what type of shady business these guys are running, and that you should never trust a 'business man' so to speak. Anyway, I hope the court rules it all in your favours and Poloneix gets to make it right!
662  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Holy shit Binance leverage trading is COMPLICATED AF!!! on: March 22, 2020, 09:09:49 PM
Yea I don't think I can manage that level of complexity.
Yeah I don't think many people are used to it, I just checked my futures and I have $20 in it, I don't think I'm going to be able to even work out how to withdraw those Grin :-(.

I mean wow Binance is really trying to boggle your mind with this stuff. I think their strategy is if people cannot even understand it,
chances are they will loose their money to Binance.

So i'm done. Back to Bybit. pfft.

Not even sure it goes to them so I don't know why they thought it was a good idea to do it this way, anyway, we'll have to see if it develops into something more usable later on.
The only 3 withdraw windows aren't too bad, at least it's better than bitmex!
For some people Binance isn't the most intuitive platform to use when it comes to withdrawals and deposits, which may not be the best thing. Luckily, though there a tutorials that can help with this, here is a link to an article explaining the two processes: https://smartphones.gadgethacks.com/how-to/binance-101-deposit-withdraw-bitcoins-other-cryptocurrencies-0182003/

and if you're hands on there are also a few video tutorial like this one; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUa-qL4g7SY.

So the point is that if you're committed you can spend some time to learn your way around the platform. I suppose this is something the UI needs some improvement on!
663  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any good KYCless exchange ? on: March 22, 2020, 05:59:37 PM
I'd also be interested in hearing of any exchanges that have low or no fee to add alt coins - there's been a slum in the number of exchanges that trade some old but still popular alts.

I suppose not that many of them fuel their resources into making alt coins as exchangeable as BTC since most users work in BTC and all alts can be converted to BTC. At the same time, it does prove to be an area perhaps worth pursuing for somebody who has a lot of spare cash and the motivation to do so  Cool
664  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 mistakes every crypto trader should avoid on: March 22, 2020, 04:57:37 PM
Project diversification is key but in terms of re-investing this can be something more challenging for people who aren't always keeping an eye on how the market is doing. Re-investing is also more risky since you really have to be an optimist and have an outweighed benefit which usually comes from long term hodling.
665  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a trading Bot? on: March 22, 2020, 01:01:41 PM
Professional traders don't rely on bots to make their profits. They instead use their heads and knowledge they have on the market. I'm currently not using any bots and haven't used them before either simply because I don't trust the market volatility and for the bots to respond quickly and accordingly
666  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of banks working welll with exchanges to make withdrawal on: March 22, 2020, 10:11:19 AM
There are two main ways to withdraw crypto using exchanges directly to your bank account, irrespective of where you are in the world. These are SEPA where you get paid in euros and for USD using SWIFT. This article seems to explain a little bit more about withdrawal options, should one be interested in reading https://www.bitdegree.org/tutorials/how-to-cash-out-bitcoin/

I am direct to the mandate of a few institutional buyers in the UAE.

Worldwide sellers are welcome

1. Purchase

BTC min 10K
Buying at spot price in tranches
Remote via Standard Escrow

Serious sellers will be introduced to the mandate and I will step out of the way.

Wouldn't it be better though to go through exchanges rather than people, especially given that you'll be needing to do this several times. Even anonymity can be maintained with some exchange platforms, if that's what you needed. It would be a pain otherwise to do man-to-man transactions.

Why do people prefer man-to-man over exchanges, surely the prices don't vary much?
668  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any good KYCless exchange ? on: March 20, 2020, 09:56:35 PM
So according to this article (note, its publishing date August 2019) the top 10 KYC-less exchanges have been listed.

What's reassuring is that some of these exchanges have already been mentioned by some people here and have been given the clear.

Among these are KuCoin and others. Anyways, there's various limitations to not using KYC but can read more about what's accepted for each of these exchanges in the article: https://beincrypto.com/top-cryptocurrency-exchanges-no-kyc/
669  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin Decoupling from Traditional market ? on: March 20, 2020, 07:31:09 PM
Looking at the regression coefficient it seems that for ~ 60% of the time the crypto market was independent from the traditional market but for ~ 40% of the time there seemed to be an inverse correlation, similar to what's being shown by @cryptoruby, and so the risks of assuming this inverse relationship are still quite high as this could change any minute and thus won't put my money on the line.
670  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: DEXZBITZ LIVE NEW EXCHANGE on: March 20, 2020, 02:05:12 PM

The website for this exchange platform is not finished, you click on the link above and all you get is an empty page, everything just looks like needs more work on. So I suggest to get this sorted out first before you create an announcement thread about your platform, as nobody will put their trust into something that looks incomplete, and how can we then take you seriously  Huh
671  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Skilled trader or bullshitter? 📈 on: March 20, 2020, 09:51:10 AM
There has been some other copy trading places that does the same thing. I mean people could literally connect their API of the exchange of their preference so that they could basically do the exact same trades that the trader is doing while even asleep, there is no really word for it other than copy trading but it is like automated bots but does the moves of good traders instead of doing it based on indicators and such.

Still, it is a great product and everyone should check it out, I liked it, and I hope there will be thousands of traders there who will showboat their own trades and we can see really good traders and how they trade and why they trade so we can learn better, but to say that this is the first place is just factually wrong, this could be the best place, that could be true, but not the first place.

And honestly if more and more people connect their preferred API to copy trade wouldn't that deprecate this platform of yours? I understand that this may not be the right way to go about it but the fact is that some people already engage in this activity and likely more people will, and that means that there should be a focus to mitigate this issue.
672  Economy / Exchanges / Re: PrimeBit.com - P2P Exchange Platform for P2P Currencies, up to 200x leverage on: March 19, 2020, 10:54:40 PM
@Slowdeath currently PrimeBit Exchange is in the pre-launch phase (only landing pages and affiliate management panel for now visible).
Homepage and exchange will be launched at the end of August/ beginning of September.

I think there are still things you need to improve on your site.

for example:

what is it?

and what that is:

are images that in my opinion have nothing to do with an exchange

PrimeBit is registered at SVG.

what is SVG?

Why did you rush to create an ANN Thread when you still had a few things left to do on your site?

I don't have much to say about the images, I mean yh, it would be better if they were related to the product/service you're providing. Also, so far I think the site is looking good but it does needs some final UI touches here and there, like an About Us page or something similar where you describe in a few sentences what this exchange platform is about.
Given that you gained some experience with the platform is 200X leverage something you've done or is it just a buzz word?
673  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Leverage trading on Amanpuri exchange on: March 19, 2020, 06:19:02 PM
Let’s explain the board matching system that Amanpuri Exchange uses for leverage trading.

What’s the big difference between exchange who uses board matching and without, put it in short the trade way will be
User x User
And
User x Exchange

Board matching has a 'board' which is listing the price that the user wants to trade, it’s kind of like spot trading.
A trade is only completed when the desirable trade price between the users.
The exchange will take a transaction fee when trade has been matched.
This is the revenue of the exchange.

On the other hand, exchanges that are not use board matching, they receive all the user's order.
It is called 'Smuggler Exchange'.
This kind of exchange does not pass user orders to other users or markets.
Simply put, it's the same as a casino.
If the user is profitable, the exchange will be lost, and if the user is lost, the exchange will be profitable.
They want user to be lost, so the exchange will benefit greatly.
Therefore, the exchange wants users to lose money.
Also, if the market moves as the user's favor when the position is leaning to either long or short, the exchange will suffer a great loss.
This can lead to refusal to withdraw or bankruptcy of the exchange.

In the case of a board matching system, the exchange's revenue is purely take from the transaction fee, and no matter how the market fluctuates or the exchange is not at big risk ,we all don’t want our user to loss.

The fact that Amanpuri has adopted a board matching system is a great value for our users and for a win-win relationship.
Do you plan to change the board matching system halfway?

It seems that the use of a board matching system is the most efficient method, which probably amounts to speedy processing orders and cleaner transactions as the system isn't clogged up with unnecessary information. Seeing this, it makes sense to stick to it, and perhaps encourage the wide-use of this feature!
674  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: *Exchange BTC-ETH-DASH-XMR* Falcon's Exchange service on: March 19, 2020, 12:59:19 PM
There is no way people can tell if you're legit or not, there is no way of even checking any of this stuff and because of this you may find that not many people would opt for your service over the well known and established exchanges like kraken, bitfinex and bestchange as such.

In fact there is no much incentive for users to come to you is there  Huh all they get is risk since most of these transactions can be done on most pre-existing exchanges Shocked
675  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking to Hire Crypto Trader on: March 19, 2020, 09:38:54 AM
Hi All,

I'm looking to hire a reliable BitMex/Bybit crypto trader for a project I'm currently working on. I would need to see the trader's trade history to ensure that they're able to generate respectable and consistent returns.

The position pays well. If you think that this is something you would be interested in, then please do not hesitate to contact me on Telegram via my handle:
@StevenRoe

Although, I would not hire a trader myself for obvious reasons you might have better responses by posting this in the service section, there are people who would check out your thread to look for work so if you still need someone then I suggest to give it a shot there. Or else maybe you could do with using an exchange Huh
676  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advices from experienced investors for optimal coins allocation on: March 18, 2020, 05:09:26 PM
Why do you need to rebalance? Without proper experience in this, you are likely to aggravate the situation and make mistakes.
What prevents you from investing and adjusting assets only with significant movements in the market? Do not complicate your life for now.

The choice is yours anyway.

There is that (as per the comment above) which are very valid points to consider before venturing out acquiring which ever coins you think could be profitable in the future. However, I tell you that maybe now is not the best time to make your move, this much unrest in the world can easily shift the markets either way and the volatility makes it (in my opinion) very difficult to gauge what the next trends will be.

Just a precautionary thought!
677  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading? on: March 18, 2020, 01:42:07 PM
I think by now it is very clear that the COVID-19 is affecting and will affect trading. And the reasons I think this are: most people won't be able to go to work and for those who are self-employed but can't work because of the quarantine no money will be coming in to pay for their day-to-day expenses so saving for investment/learning to trade/trading generally won't be an option for most of these people. On a global scale not having people into work means reduced GDP and thus most countries will hit recession. All of this is bad because there will be not much spending going one, never mind investing or taking higher risks.
678  Economy / Services / Re: 📢 Coinverti - The most powerful cryptocurrency advertising network on: March 17, 2020, 11:16:44 PM
I have used them both as a publisher and advertiser. Truly, there UI is great and I love the stats. if you have a good website, I would recommend trying them. Also, support is great and payments are blazing fast. Cheers Cheesy

Yh, from taking a peek at their website it sure looks professional and well made. So what I got so far is that they're a platform whereby websites can sign up to them in order to show what I presume to be paid ad content.
Maybe I misunderstood but do they also offer a branch for other types of clients to advertise their ads and if thats the case where exactly will these advertisements be posted like what mediums, Google, FB, Reddit?
679  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is better than Holding on: March 17, 2020, 07:08:03 PM
Still thinking that trading is more profitable, better than holding  Huh The uncertainty of the market makes it such o matter which one you practice, trading over holding or vice versa, in both situations you'd get frustrated and probably to the point where you become to question your initial action of investing into crypto. Though, ti be fair, it isn't only the crypto market suffering but the stock market and even banks, and probably in comparison crypto is doing much better!
680  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term investment vs. Swing trading vs. Daily trading on: March 17, 2020, 10:56:54 AM
Trading depends on so many things which trade suit for you. For example time, capital, experience etc. If you have enough time, experience and big capital then you may start day trade with small profits. If you don't have big capital then likely you may hold some coins for long time means its call long trade. If you have enough fund and there is not enough time but you have quite experience then middle term trade would suit for you. Like this people think and they do whatever suit for them. Swing trade is high risky, you should have enough skill and experience to avoid losses.

That's right! The type of trading one is associated with should be a true reflection of all of these factors like the buying amount, the time, knowledge and even preference. So, if you find that these factors don't aline with you 100% then the message here advises you to change lane as this one you're in is not the right 'trade category'. Of course, all of this is personal and vary but its all good advice  Smiley
