661  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Fiat - this is how I see the future on: October 02, 2018, 01:17:24 PM
At a time where I see currencies moving away from cash to digital I think the reason is partly so that governments can control the flow of their currency more particularly for laundering. They can possibly gain more taxation from a cashless currency because cash cannot be fully traced. If i sell my car for cash to another individual the government dont get any revenue from that because it is not traceable.

So in a governments aim to control our money it will leave a big opening for bitcoin and other decentralised crypto to exist along with fiat and will allow people to "trade" anonymously with each other over a completely independent infrastructure.
But the problem with the digital money and the crypto currencies is their advertisement when the money is converted into digital then it was exposed to all the world's people in no matter of time by the company who is doing the transaction but when the bitcoin is decentralized it has been struggling to convince what is bitcoin and blockchain.
662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: October 02, 2018, 08:59:04 AM
In the games on online gambling, I am not spend too long, but if in the chatbox, I can stay for a long time, and sometimes I spend more than one hour to talk with other people. I know that if I spend too long in online gambling and play the game, I can get lost too much money which I don't want it. I think it's good if we only spend a short time to play the game and then we need to get out from the site to continue another activity.
Chatting is one thing all the people hours and hours spending for that daily in regular manner because its free in most of the cases, when we don't have enough money for spending the gambling then it is good thing that we have alternative form of entertainment but the one problem of chatting is which is also highly addictive we even forget our daily duties in the long time chatting.
663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Continues to Consolidate As Volatility Reaches Lows of 2018 on: October 02, 2018, 07:10:56 AM

I don't much interested about the fourth quarter of this year because I believe that there will be nothing new is going to happen in the remaining days of this year but I hope this is the flat market days expected to have more investors when it has enough stability on the prices for a while now at that time the bull run will begin and will go for another new all time high and the cycle will keep repeat N number of times.
A lot of things can happen in 90 days. Maybe history will repeat itself? The unexpected bull just like what happened last year December. Grin
Don't expect to happen again and again because 2017 was one of the great year for the cryptos and much more positive news about cryptos were spreading at the time but now everything is in opposite for it,even the bitcointalk has less traffic.

The market is uncertain and unpredictable. But there has been nothing in the past few weeks to suggest that the market would recover in the final quarter of the year.
This period in the year usually leads to market pumps but with pending decision regarding bitcoin ETF and increased restrictions in some countries this year might be different.
ETF decision won't affect bitcoin value that much. There are still lots of die hard bitcoin supporters lurking in the shadows who believes in the technology. The bitcoin community won't just let bitcoin go down the drain cos of ETF decision being turned down.
ETF decision will have affect tho,but it will be just temporary since as you said there are lot of bitcoin supporters holding it since the bear market began.
664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Continues to Consolidate As Volatility Reaches Lows of 2018 on: October 01, 2018, 04:30:37 PM
Bitcoin BTC technical analysis for 1st October 2018. Bitcoin continues to consolidate as we enter Q4 of 2018. We have experienced a prolonged bear market for the first three quarters of 2018, will the last quarter be any different?

https://blokt.com/technical-analysis/bitcoin-continues-to-consolidate-as-volatility-reaches-lows-of-2018

I think the last quarter will exhibit a bullish market. We have been in the bear market for quite a very long time now since the year started. Hoping that by the last quarter there will be a recovery when it comes to bitcoin's performance in the market.

Whether we end this year a bear or bull market, I still believe in the technology and always supporting bitcoin. What are your thoughts on this guys?

665  Economy / Economics / Re: What can be done to make bitcoin stable? on: October 01, 2018, 03:20:36 PM
We can literally stabilize the price of bitcoin by having stable demand and supply proportions but it is impossible to achieve because of the limited availability of bitcoin when compared to the total world population and moreover the volatile range will be increased according the to adoption rate but when the adoption increased at its max then it might leads to the stable prices.
666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling addiction a disease? on: October 01, 2018, 01:22:23 PM
It is a condition and not a disease. A disease is where harmful organisms affects your body in a negative way. Gambling addiction also affects you bad but it is only in the mind but you can defeat it by having a string support from your loved ones and also with a good discipline.
Addiction is also can be called as psychological disorder which is disease as well when it can't be controlled by that individual but there are different levels of addiction, the early stages of addiction maybe found in all gamblers and they know when to stop and when to play. But some people even after realize they are over doing it they still wanted to do which needs medical help to cure.
667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the highest lost you have made as gambler? on: October 01, 2018, 08:35:06 AM
I am not interested to spend much money on gambling but sometimes when I do it goes in the wrong way for me,I almost lost $1000 in sport betting at one single bet which I think the highest lost I faced in single bet but after that I always limit myself for smaller bet limits.
668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Marketing Bitcoin - What age group should be the ideal target group? on: October 01, 2018, 06:52:03 AM
I feel that the younger generation would be the ideal target group in this aspect since they are the future while the old people will cease to exist later on. If the old people feel that cryptocurrencies are worth adopting, it is a great move on their part.

However, if they don't support cryptocurrencies, I don't think that it is a big loss in any manner whatsoever. The younger generation hold the key to the future of the cryptocurrency market.

They need to be educated about the basics of the technology behind Bitcoin in order to help push it forward.
If older people refuse to adopt to the crypto currencies then it will after the adoption rate and the market cap value because normally older people are the one who holds more wealth of this world so they need to understand what is bitcoin for the better future but teaching about the crypto currencies will be a great initiative for the adoption but when governments are against the decentralization so I doubt that it will be taught.
669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of ETH? on: September 30, 2018, 03:50:30 PM
It's been a long time since Ethereum is performing below it's standards as we all remember even when the value of bitcoin dripped ridiculously still the value of ethereum was good but now from past 3 months wherein ethereum is struggling to survive. Will it reach $1000 market before this year end ?
Ethereum is not going to reach $1000 by end of 2018 because we are no where near that value and we only have three months left in this year and already Ripple is taking over the place of ethereum in the marketcap value but hopefully ETH will regain its position soon so at that time we may see some quick bump in the prices.
670  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fraud alert: Dubai International Blockchain Summit Scammed our 2.16 Bitcoin on: September 30, 2018, 01:43:43 PM
I think it needs to be moved to the scam accusation section where other people may come to know about that site or project and can stay away from it.MOve option can be found in the lower bottom left side.
671  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading, campaigns, gambling or mining? on: September 30, 2018, 12:45:54 PM
Mining can be the safe form of investment when compared to others but the profits will be more if your country has cheap electricity and also you need more capital to hold your mined coins for a while then only you can earn some money from it and trading can be an option if people don't have enough money to buy a powerful miners but it needs skills and knowledge and other two not form of earnings so don't depend on this earnings.
672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Legal guns to protect from government = bitcoin to protect from banks? on: September 30, 2018, 10:50:00 AM
Damn Yes,Bitcoin was created to protect us from banks not just alternative to the paper money because we are working hard make money but in some years the value of the money got decreases so we are at same stage of living how we are before even after we earned some decent money through our hard work so people have to adopt to the crypto currencies if they want the decentralized money.
673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Marketing Bitcoin - What age group should be the ideal target group? on: September 30, 2018, 07:59:18 AM
The people age range from 25 to 40 are the one we need to impose the bitcoin adoption because most of the time they are the influencing member of the family so if they can understand what is bitcoin then they can teach other age peoples about crypto currencies in their family.Very young people may know what is bitcoin and blockchain but they don't have enough money to invest and their words won't make any sense among the older people who holds large money.
674  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to see if wallet on specific exchange is offline/suspended for maintenance? on: September 28, 2018, 05:34:57 PM
I think you need to checkout their announcement thread for the update about the wallet maintenance but most of the exchanges won't provide any information when there are some wallets are suspended and sometime the waiting time takes months to get used.So you need to check the reputation of the exchange before doing trade and also don't keep your coins for longer after the trade.
675  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Declining of Bitcoin Price has also a Decline in Consumers Interest? on: September 28, 2018, 03:52:35 PM
It is difficult to say rather the low value led to a loss of consumer interest or the other way around Millennial people still have an interest to bitcoin, they
still embrace bitcoin. For Millennial's bitcoin and cryptocurrency could be the investment opportunity of a lifetime.
The people who can't accept the price decrease won't be successful because he price of bitcoin always volatile in nature and when the price keeps dumping then we need to buy more so we can make profits when there is rise in the prices. If we keep selling when the price low and then buy again when the price increase will never make profits for you.
676  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you expect Bitcoin to hit $20 000? on: September 28, 2018, 12:31:11 PM
Honestly I am not looking at $20000 for a bitcoin anymore because next time there will be new all time high price for the bitcoin but it may takes time because the recovery needs to be much healthier if we want the prices to stay at that level forever but hopefully we will reach tat in 2019 at most.
677  Economy / Economics / Re: Differences between the developed countries and developing countires on: September 28, 2018, 09:56:17 AM
developped countries are the ones that do not export raw materials but imports. non developped countries are the ones that sell raw materials instead of produce a product and sell. developing countries are the ones that just started producing.
Partially right but now a days the companies from the developed countries coming to the developing nations where the raw materials were abundant in nature and also the man power can be much cheaper than the developing nations but later they will take the profits made from the products in the developing countries to their developed country.
this is a disadvantage for developing countries where human resources lag. raw materials are taken by developed countries and their products are sold again to developing countries. for this reason, high human resources are the main differentiator
Human resources are also high in nature of a developing countries that is why they can get cheap man power in the developing countries like India or Indonesia and the products are also sold back to the developing countries but the profits were taken back to their origin countries. This is happening because of the corrupted politicians and government officials who let them to do what they want.

679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt market cap in crash on: September 27, 2018, 06:02:59 PM
The price of crypto currencies were falling since the beginning of this year but somehow bitcoin managed to resist at some level but altcoins kept falling too harder but now everything looks settle and it looks are at stable or flat market now but towards end of this year we may see some uptrend in my opinion.
680  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade Alerts on: September 27, 2018, 05:00:38 PM
Who all do you some of you guys use for trade alerts? I've joined one Patreon that does trade alerts and the guy does a good job just looking to expand my horizon a little bit and see who else people recommend that sends out decent trade alerts. I searched and only found some posts with no replies on them so I'd appreciate any feed back you guys have! Thank you and good luck on your trades!

Only trust the alerts given by the people who knows what will happen in future but exactly no one can predict what is going to happen in the future so all the alerts given by anyone is just the dump strategy and possible the whales are the one going to make profits from the signals they are just using normal people as their tool.
