Hey monoxide, when you get the new cpu miner working on a Linux VM, kindly let us know how you ran it, and what distro and stuff. I'm inclined to try it out on Debian (Jessie). If I can bump up my 100 khs to 200 khs that would be fun. I bought my home server because the Xeon chip on it had AES support. I think it's a e5640. We'll give compiling a Windows version a shot for you guys, if it's anything like sgminer it shouldn't be too bad. @joblo - thank you for taking your time and putting forth the effort, it is seriously much appreciated. |

We don't have an exact time as I'm still reworking portions of the client (I don't want this to just be a simply client version bump with 1 new feature, it needs to offer more) I'd personally say 24-48 hours, could be much sooner as well... Hey guys,
I've been busy cleaning up the minimalistic (current) client.
Moving the mining feature out of the overview page and into its own tab like the C.C.S.
Hence why there's been little word from me/us.
Resurgam has been manning the thread asking with afew of the other members.
There's a lot in the works so once more I apologize for the delay.
After v0.8.0.5 launches we will be working on the "Plus" client that the C.C.S. screenshot a few pages back depicts as a selectable option.
This way users can choose which version they prefer to run.
The mining tab will currently feature just the cpu mining portion but allow for pointing to a pool from within the client.
Again these were some last minute decisions to clean the system up and prepare it for more features that will be launching.
Now, as for the laptop bags. Personally Res and I are picking up a few. I for one need one for my laptops I use to build with as I don't like being constrained to one location (it's nice outside, a park is aGreat change of scenery than walls 24/7)
We decided to pick up a few more than just for us and figured that users who were interested could pick these up for 50M ESP. Also giving you a chance to use some ESP that youve collected.
Did we mention we are doing this at cost? 50M is ~50USD which is the cost to is for the item.
Honestly the ESP is most likely going to go back into the dev fund for more give aways, competitions and general promotions. We are not doing this for profit!
We've also toyed around with the idea of having the bags signed by members of the team, customized paper wallets that would be included in the bag with some ESP on it and other things.
So stay tuned. Much to come.
Oh and finally we are prepping for the email system. An email tab and layout will be implemented for the feature which will be the focus after straightening anything and everything underlying out.

ESP is not yet ready for BTC. We need an LTC market in a good exchange. Price is horrid atm which is to be expected, we literally dumped out ~120B of this project from the get go, most coins take a while to reach that mark. Once it is re-appropriated into the hands that want to be involved and to investors then the project will rise in value on its own. I'm sure most people are still waiting for the features to launch and the project to exit the Alpha stage. New mining rig is almost done, just waiting for single slot waterblocks for my r9 390s so i can fit them all. Mining with gpu and cpu at the same time and it never gets too hot. Time to mine some espers  how much cost you to build this rig. Dat rig doh..... Epic... Such Jelly, Much awesome, So mining (I don't even have anything to mine with you lucky punk you! lol)

Secure emails = 1000 ESPERS + 1 ESPER per byte of message, with a practical maximum of maybe 16k message (any longer and it's too long and might get kicked out of the transaction or something wierd.) So a typical message would be 2000 to 3000 ESP, plus transaction fees. Maybe something like that.
That's just an idea, I don't know how it would work.
Hmmm that's not a bad idea, however the fee will have to adjust according to market value, otherwise not everyone would be able to send messages once the project gained more popularity. CryptoCoderz would you make a new chain based on espers with less amount of total coins ?
We will have to get back to you on that... the reason we say that is we will be using ALL of our current chains that we run (well more like dragging ever since Espers launched) to interface with Espers and each other. Each will have their own purpose and abilities. Sidechains are the future, however we believe chain-to-chain interfacing bypasses the limitations of sidechains. This community used to be massive but since NovaExchange went down, GPU miners came out and the 2nd giveaway postponed it has lost a lot of members.
