Searching through the low marketcap coins I found Emerald. Looks very interesting as investment opportunity. Any thoughts to switch to anothe algorithm? PoS? Have you considered to add masternodes to secure network and reward investors?

Hi, can someone tell me if the ark fee is gonna stay the same?? 0.1 ark per transaction?? now with a 20 cent ark i don't think is much about 2 cents per transaction but when ark will be worth 5 dollars or 10 dollars .1 ark per transaction will be just way too much... can anyone tell me if the fee will be reduced over time ?? because if it stays the same it will be a great downfall for Ark....  yes, if the price goes up dramatically the network can agree on a new fee. Even I read the blog which explain smart bridge, but it's difficult to understand the difference
the concept is roughly the same, the consensus code is different but the whole system how it works sounds basically the same thing as ark with different names. So, why the new project? I'm not very familiar with Ark but from what I read it seems very interesting. Especially this part of smartbridge: It’s quite simple. If you want to trigger an event on a blockchain via a different blockchain, you check if that chain is SmartBridge compatible. If it is, then you can issue a SmartBridge transaction to any compatible blockchain via the ark wallet and the possibilities are endless. |

I should admit that segwit is much ado about nothing. It doesn't solve scaling problem but it can drive the price upwards.

Bravo, almost all coins with PoW algorithm are like windows 95 on current PCs. PoW is technology of yesterday and it has no future. It is power consuming and not helping the network to run stable just centralizing it. ZEC is a joke, why they haven't implement their zsnarks or whatever onto BTC? They created a new coin just to get billions and thats all. But yes, you can make money by speculating. But as a technology it has no future, IMO. |

I should say that I hate the so-called Bitcoin maximalists who are blind and still insisting how great is Bitcoin. Bitcoin is coming to be like Windows95 or Vista in 2030 and it is not about scalability and cheap TX fees. It is about technology and centralization. BTC power consumption is hell and PoW has no future. Only miners are profiting from the high TX fees. Look how the consumption of power is growing to sustain the Bitcoin network and it will only grow in the future. Bitcoin core are centralized entity absolutely controling BTC. Actually, BTC is the coin of core and chinese miners. I'm happy that I sold everything and I have strong belief in alts. The technology is only underway. Forget BTC despite they are manipulating the price shouting "to the moon", BTC is going to reach $5000, 10k, 100k 1 million bla bla bla. Bullshit.

It is very big project despite the fact that there projects positing themselves as "supercomputer" as you may know but SONM looks different and will get its share in the market. What I like as well is that SONM token holders will get some percantage of the network fees. So, you can hold SONM tokens and get profits not only from the growing demand of computational power but also from the TXs. Really a big deal
