661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much of new crypto projects? on: January 30, 2022, 08:17:08 PM

I always check coinmarketcap.com every day and all trending projects.
Among trading projects, there are a lot of dogs meme coins. They raise a lot because dogs meme was a trend of 2021.
But maybe in 2022 the trend will become a cats meme coins likes this https://twitter.com/angrykittytoken/status/1479171278171000833
Everybody like cats and they are more popular in internet then dogs Wink

The most important that all these projects will be useful for people.
The cryptocurrency industry is actively developing and offers a lot of opportunities to people and it is necessary to use all these opportunities.

During the fall of the market, only the best and really useful for people projects will survive. Only time will show how the project is useful for people.
I also think the high number of released project should be a pointer to investment in this present market, if there will ever be a bull market in altcoins this year. Some coin have already gone and may go back to zero. We will see a lot of exit scam with many of the project and massive delist from exchanges as the trade volume decreases. Hype and VCs' interest should be a pointer for trade now
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How will Coinmarketcap look in 2025? on: January 30, 2022, 08:10:41 PM
I think bitcoin will be in the top one or two, and Ethereum can potentially unseat bitcoin as number one, but that will be very difficult. I believe Cardano will be in the top ten, and I can also see Avalanche and Algorand there as well. So here's my guess.

1. bitcoin
2. Ethereum
3. Cardano
4. Algorand
5. Avalanche
6. BNB
7. Polkadot
8. Terra
9. Crypto.com
10. USD Coin
I dont ever see bitcoin leave the top of the coins in the next 10 years. I will consider the present percentage in the overall markcap, the level of liquidity and institutional interest in acquisition. Its cycle price movement still determines other prices, which implies its strong presence. Is the most distributed coin in the market at most controlled level of supply, which is the reason for the scarcity. Its exposure keep increasing with increase in government's level of adoption.
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Solana full of hype? on: January 30, 2022, 11:36:20 AM
I’m not sure, obviously it’s come from nowhere with a very low price to being one of the main coins people talk about. Some people mention it as the next ETH. I’m just not so sure, it’s had several outages & tgey just can’t continue to repeat or it’ll go to zero.
I dont know how the bear market will look this time if we have a supercycle because bear market reveals a lot about overvalued project, I feel some top projects like Solana and near maybe overvalued and large token held by team and partners. The adoption of Solana has increase in the last 12 months and  I feel high marketcap is an advantage for a project with solid developers and investors
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ✅FST Network🆒 Building a user and developer friendly Blockchain ecosystem on: January 29, 2022, 08:01:21 PM
I just discover that this project raised 2.9 million dollar in December, 2021. https://www.fst.network/post/data-governance-startup-fst-network-raises-2-9-mn-in-seed-funding-round . There are indication of any affiliation with cryptocurrency and no unit to ask any question. I wish other interested individuals in this project to get into finding out about the project and possibility of ever making use of the distributed token years ago?
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity - A new Ethereum game similar to CryptoKitties [SPECIAL PRE-SALE] on: January 29, 2022, 03:23:17 AM
What was the listing price and which exchange did it start with? am not talking of the lowest price.
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Klaytn: Everything you need to know on: January 29, 2022, 02:25:38 AM
I wish it is more comprehensive and explicit enough. Have known of klatyn a long time but has been disappointed with little innovation and adoption in this cycle, it has more competitors than in previous years and has done very few things to attract influencers in the space. For anyone planning to make awareness of such project, it wont be in such manner, too low approach.
667  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Institutional investors changing the Bitcoin price behaviour? on: January 26, 2022, 09:39:04 PM
Now, we know the Bitcoin price has not been phased much, when Wall Street and global markets have shown movement. These markets are used by large investors that are very trigger happy with the slightest volatility.

I don't think anythings changed that much price strength wise since larger investors came into the bitcoin space.

I think whenever institutions start buying and selling we might see more dramatic volume increases but institutions like to compete with each other so it's likely these will be done over the counter or both executed at the same time so it might just effect the volume.
what are the sources of information for purchase and sale of coin by institutions? I feel sometimes this source of information are influenced to deceive traders of accumulation,  we saw a lot of them in recent day of the dump and while finding the bottom of the market. Most of the purchases are on the counter not exchanges, so how do people know this accumulation?
668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you lend your cryptocurrencies? on: January 26, 2022, 09:24:44 PM
Are there platforms or exchanges that provide staking with reward more than 20% for stable coins and can also run the bear market?
669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIDI]Aidi Finance ($AIDI) DEX & Gaming & NFTs & DeFi on: January 25, 2022, 08:11:07 PM
the project needs a lot of marketing to improve the low traded volume. What's the circulating supply of the token? any staking plan? Most project are beginning to develop their own decentralized exchanges with their token which is a difficult to manage and secure exchanges. The token is already on coingecko and coinmarketcap, where the token trading can be monitored.
670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIDI]Aidi Finance ($AIDI) DEX & Gaming & NFTs & DeFi on: January 24, 2022, 07:24:36 PM
Which DEX is the AIDI (Bsc) version listed?
what state is the game to earn according the January roadmap?
At the moment what are the chances of listing on Kucoin even with announcement and the present market sentiment ?
671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON Round of 16. on: January 24, 2022, 06:47:36 PM
Guinea 0 - 1 Gambia

as expected the Gambia won

Cameroon vs Comoros

Which team seems to win? I'm betting on Cameroon's victory today. Cameroon will be far ahead of Comoros in terms of group stage performance. Cameron's forward is strong. In addition, Cameroon has previously played two matches against Comoros. One draw and one 3-0 win. Cameroon is ahead in all statistics. So I bet for Cameroon's victory.

Cameroon will win without much difficulty, bookmakers have no doubts about that, just look at the odds for Cameroon and the odds for Comoros, I laugh, but if by any luck the comoros wins then whoever bets on the comoros will have won a high profit
Have Cameroon played any north African country? It is the right test for other African sides if they are willing to pull a plug in this tournament.Tunisia does not even make the list of the poll and they beat Nigeria with highest points/ 100% from the group stage, so North Africans can pull a surprise in the tournament.
672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Fear and Greed index. Don't time the market! on: January 23, 2022, 07:28:55 PM
After another 4 year (cycle) with the bitcoin halving period, this time, we might have a different outlook on what we call the cycle. If the proposed super cycle happens this year, predicting the market might get more difficult and make every one in the market not different from each other. It get more difficult to hold bitcoin at the price it is attaining now and ROI for holders is declining.
673  Other / Meta / Re: Who has the right to publish the ANN thread? on: January 23, 2022, 07:18:49 PM
It doesn't really matter who posts it.
The case is quite different, LoyceV. I just found that he had posted an announcement of Kusama today which is not supposed to be posted by him in any way. Kusama is part of the Polkadot project by Gavin Wood. I think the guy is in something, maybe trying to deceive someone or trying to phishing or maybe trying to build a fake portfolio lol. But this doesn't look good at all, to be honest. This guy needs to be monitored. I will defeinitely keep an eye on him.
i think the worrying part of his thread would be the wrong links attached to the thread, which is not relevant to the project. This could be regarded as a scam and such can be reported in the forum but with evidences. Another important thing is the title of the thread; topics can be raised on any project here and discussed, this may not necessary mean the OP is involved in the project
674  Economy / Economics / Re: MicroStrategy Buys $250M in Bitcoin, Calling the Crypto ‘Superior to Cash’ on: January 22, 2022, 09:05:32 PM
Michael Saylor, in a conversation with Bloomberg, once again confirmed that he is not going to change his strategy for buying and holding bitcoin, and the price reduction by 40% of his ATH is not a cause for concern for him, but rather a consolation, given the current increase in inflation.
What, in my opinion, is a great motivation for those who are constantly worried about the current decline in the value of bitcoin, especially on the example of a company whose investments in bitcoin have already exceeded the capitalization of MicroStrategy itself.

Who has any information on the wallet? It was in the news that 2 of the institutional owners of bitcoin were active in the market in the last 24 hrs. There are no further detail on the institution though. I also want to remind that the sale of Elon bitcoin was meant to be secret of the year review before it goes public. Institutions are not reliable in this market and that why we might still, need larger numbers of retail investors.
675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: $9,500,000 WORTH OF 1000PDF TOKEN AIRDROP (Listed On Pancakeswap) on: January 22, 2022, 04:09:07 AM
Does this token have an announcement thread in this forum and got questions to ask about the coin trade on pancake? if it even trade there at all.
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ✅ OJA Coin - High-speed, Low cost, & Power Efficient Cryptocurrency on: January 22, 2022, 04:05:10 AM

When the thread moderator neglect scam allegation like and continue to post other things, it could be a red flag. Am not new to exchange listing promises that failed, Until listed on exchange we cant assure the end of this. Partners and influencers can indicate that a project has trusted cryptocurrency professional, although they all tend to be greedy gut seeking to fill there pocket with others money lying on available supply and selling the bags in the market.
677  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: African bitcointalk community hangout on: January 20, 2022, 08:40:46 PM
Quote from: Mpamaegbu
OP, may be we go begin track those people we suspect to be our Naija peeps and send them pms so they can know what we are doing on this thread. Abi how you want am?

Good idea you're free to do so but no force anybody, as I go like make this thread dey spam free and avoid people creating alt account so we noticed them as our brothers and start begging us for merit {I have been getting dat alot}. The main reason I do dat signature campaign dat period na to attract our brothers. the traget na Africa as a whole as only Nigeria no go fit get voice to demand for a board.
Have not done any of your bounties, with the fear that they could be scam or fail to raise fund, I never even know that you are African. however, I wish you could name the succeeding ones in space with listing on top exchanges, so I could patronize you sometimes. Signature campaign is not as effective again, it may be used to attract forum members to join in new bounty.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoin will go 10x this year? on: January 20, 2022, 08:29:00 PM
Hi everyone, it's already 2022, and I would like to know your opinion, which alicoin will grow by x10 or even more this year?

Personally, I bet on ecosystem projects that have a lot of fundamentals and are underestimated. I think that projects like NEAR and Cosmos will be able to do x10 in 2022, how about you?

Have seen on 2 more thread that mentioned Near and Cosmos as a promising coin for 2022, Near is understandable but what is really special about Cosmos?
