as i understand, there are only transaction fees as reward for mining in new chain now ? when reward will be normal ?
The normal reward in the new chain is 0+tx fees for PoW and 0 for PoS - it makes 42 an extremely rare and deflationary coin, and in combination with the constant development potentially lead to the value increase. All 42 coins in the new chain were already mined in this address: 4VsEs7wqRpoiTpmqViWRtse1P3CNgvBw4g, their distribution (swap) between the old 42 owners will be completed with the block #1990382/84 coins + 42 hours in the old chain.

In accordance with the new Cryptopia policy and the admin answer, if we want 42 to be listed on their exchange after the swap period, we have to pay 500000 DOT. It is not a huge amount, and a lot of us already have some DOT on their balances as a bonuses. For those who want to support 42, please donate your DOT to this address: If we do not gather enough DOT before the Jan-2017, we will start our trades on Yobit.net because their service is more than twice cheaper. And, of course, will continue on Cryptopia later...

In order to stimulate the growth of the 42 network, I am going to make the "Nodes Ranking System" with small reward for participants:
Newbie >24hrs Jr.Supporter >7d Supporter >1m Full Supporter >3m - $3/m Node >6m - $5/m Full Node >12m - $7/m Supreme Node >18m - $9/m
We will pay from the community fund. If the participant will get 7 warnings per period for the node being offline, than his rank will be lowered. What do you think about this?
thats great...
Is there anyone against this proposal? Should I put it to the vote?

Whats the official spelling of the 42 coins or 42coins ??
IMHO the full official name should " 42-coin" ( https://github.com/42-coin/42), in order to leave behind the old names "42 Coin" and "42coin". my port is open!! can you check 47.146.148.125:4242
Congratulation! I will add you to the node list.

thats great.. so this is my ip say for example.. 47.146.148.125 so then this is correct to add in your conf file??
addnode=47.146.148.125:4242
To be a node you need to open the port #4242 in your router/firewall. One of the simplest methods to open the port is to use a uTorrent: go to "Preferences" >> "Connection", opposite the "Port used for incoming connections" put 4242 and click on "Ok". To check is your port opened or closed: http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ , http://ping.eu/port-chk/. If this method is not working for you but you want to open the port for incoming connections, send me in PM your router model and firewall name and I will try to help you.

Doesn't that mean the old Cryptsy Exchange hold the most amount of 42 coins since they were one of the first to put it on a market, so basically since they can't touch those funds because of the Legal Action taking place the supply will be very, very, minimal I take it ? Clever Thinking They did not close the withdrawal for 42 and some others crap coins. I was able to withdraw a lot of my coins from Cryptsy through 42 and FST.

Before to make any transaction, be sure that you made a copy of your wallet.dat file and your client has enough connections with the network (min 3-5).

Yea, . This is the old chain...

We don't need a pool because the PoS is the main method of transaction confirmation. Exchange will be unavailable during the swap process in order to avoid confusion and possible loss.

Where can I send 42 coin from Cryptopia? I also am on Mac OSX
You can send your coins direct to the burn address and will receive back a private key from the address with the new coins. You will be able to import this key to the wallet some later when the Mac wallet will be available. For those who do not want to trust me, multisig escrow is available on request via Coinb.in (as a collateral).

How do I know if I am using the new wallet? I downloaded it a few weeks ago.
Go to "Help" >> "About 42": 42-v0.0.7.build-g891b422 - new chain wallet. v0.7.5.0-gbff08fa-beta - old chain wallet.
