I bet everything on the possibility that Ethereum will come up with the perfect scaling methods. There is so much money involved and the incentive to solve the problem are extremely strong. They will make it happen.
a decentralized society needs freedom of its own blockchain, otherwise tokens in Ethereum is not so decentralized in my opinion. It is not just about scaling. If you look at Nexus trying to free itself from internet censorship with its own cube statelite. Its a big dream but they dream right I understand where you are coming from, but Ethereum's network security is quite strong. The network successfully protects billions and billions of dollars and on top of that you have the network effects from all those applications running on Ethereum. However, despite this as you say strong system, there are leakings in another areas, e.g. while transfering money from purse to exchange and back. I know people being victims in such instances. |

I hope in this platform there will not be obtrusive advertising during viewing? I think this is the main problem of current online services where can view movies and series, for cryptoflix team will be need to develop profitable model, but without any advertising - and then success is guaranteed!
The truth is that so much publicity is a problem in many cases and end up causing users to leave the platforms. I hope that cryptoflix does not make that mistake. I thought someone said on a few pages ago that there will be no advertise on this platform. I don't know if it's possible to eliminate ads altogether, but definitely not in the middle of movies when you paid for them. That wouldn't be good. There will probably be ads because it's an important source of income but they have to control them so that they do not become a problem. As someone already said before, Christian confirmed that there won't be advertising on Cryptoflix. If I'm not mistaken, CRYPTOFLIX has a VOD model so ads are not necessary. Besides it ruins the excitement in video entertainment. I adore video services without any advertisements. Unfortunately, there are very few of them if any. If CF will manage to get totally rid of ads, that could give them great advantage over other platforms offering similar services |

Bounty for movies subtittle could be the better solution to reduce the costs that may expensive with the normal way.
I like this idea... should be pitched to the dev team. Reward people for making good subtitles OR correcting existing ones... sounds nice and interesting I think its a marvelous idea, one translator for translating and one translator for checking that translation, some bounty awards to those translators, nice and clean job, also quick payment opportunity for translators worldwide. It was my idea, but I never got a response here nor did they answer this question in AMA, where I suggested it too. So I think devs are not interested. How do you want to judge is subtitles are good, bad or just straight out of Google translate? Community voting could be a good idea. Votes will decide if a sub is good or not. that could be a way to use voting. but honestly if they stream movies, won't these come with official subtitles? That's a good idea if the voting result is considered by wide audience. Otherwise, not authorised rating gives the project unnessessary bad fame |

they dont have any bounty campaign ongoing, if you mean that. only referral system atm. i do not think there is any kind of bounty campaign active for this project except the referral program, and is normal that the price of the token drops a bit after the end of the ico but you have to see the value in the medium, long term Since they have the former marketing director of SophiaTX on board and SophiaTX had a successful ICO without any bounty program I believe they'll do without a bounty campaign... and will probably have a successful ICO This is what I was trying to say - there could be a successful ico without bounty program When they plan to launch beta? I think if they don't have finished product, or something else that would can allocated they from hundreds ICO projects there is a need for advertising to attract investors. How are the whitepaper translations going? I am very interested in reading the whitepaper in my native language.
By the way, it would be nice to read a whitepaper in its own language. In-depth to understand the scientific part of the project. Since this is the basis of the entire platform. But some people doesn't have enough English to read such detailed whitepaper so i think translations are too important for the potential investors. You are right but they are putting a lot of tokens for translation. So i am not sure is it worth it. Just translating brochure wouldn't be enough? Translations chapter by chapter are good idea. My friend i think just brochure is not enough for a project with a roadmap until 2025. I am sure that they aren't avoiding small amounts of bounties for translation. If I understand you correctly you are basically proposing bounty for translating different chapters of whitepaper? Not everyone is fluent in English, so I think that translation to at least the most spoken languages is necessary. In this case it is a very hard work so I understand that the translation can be divided. Yes, and different translators translate differently even if they both have good command of english. It is not good news for an ico. I hope it is just a busy phase they don't have time to do such things.
I think its not really hard to find a community manager or a person to do such things, they can even promise their tokens if they don't have enough BTC/ETH/fiat. They could even run a potential community manager through one of their AI algorithms to verify that they are a trustworthy community manager... There are several experienced alternatives in bitcointalk forum, if devs want success in their project, I think they should hire an experienced community manager. yes maybe it would be the best solution, if they(team) are too busy to follow the forum, take/hire a community manager that updates users with the latest developments Improving communication with community and customers are always important Communication with investors is a fundamental point for the success of the project. I hope they improve it soon. I just think they are working out some more important things than communication with the people interested in their project. I really think this one has a great future |

That's interesting. The countdown just went to zeros, and there is no any additional info. Frankly, the closed round should be already finished, but with such maintanance who knows... I think there are problems in information flow between devs and community in here, as mentioned above i think project seems abandoned, even if not it needs more advertising. I wonder what is going on maybe they are too busy and are not paying attention to the community. Hopefully they are too busy with their intentions about the project, and they will finally present a perfect product, so this gap between the community and the developers will happen to somehow be reasonable |

I only hope this project will ink a strategic partnership with a film company. That will surely have a boost effect on the project. At some point they need that or else I don't know how they will keep up with all movies rights. At least some independent company, not talking about mainstream companies to start with Well, they have another option: just to copy some successfull video platform content and get rid of their mistakes. This is probably the easiest way to advance without any partnerships But without partnerships it will be hard for them to get users. People don't like to watch unknown movies. I think that partnerships are going to be neccessary if they want to reach the most people. Sure, the good partners are very crucial for the future of any project, I just offered the way out without any partnerships in case they do not have the good ones currently. |

It would be great that the developers would give some sort interview for bloggers, I like watching ICO reviews, live performances - but currently
in YouTube there is not enough info about Biotron.
Maybe that's just not the time for marketing yet? The devs probably make sure everything is going smoothly, and only afterwards they do start some advertizing be it bounty compaign or youtube reviews |

i think so too i tend to look once or twice a day, since the project is quiet interesting and i am curious how this will go on Probably 'quite' not 'quiet'. This one resembles me something like of Datum, and the latter is really successful project. You guys should probably look closely into other compaigns' experience, and you'll get what you want. |

Estimates is quite detailed information, it will probably be announced later when the platform will be in its finishing stages.
You say that like changing the world and earning money are mutually exclusive things, you can do both at the same time.
I didn't meant to say that earning money excludes changing the world But some figures always help to understand the relevancy of the project. If rewards are, say, 10 cents per day, it would be quite hard to persuade users to take part. And if they are $5 per day, that sounds more promising. Of course, investors buy tokens with the intention of making money or at least me  . That does not mean there are other reasons to invest. That does not mean there are NO other reasons to invest, for example the intention to later use the platform and its services by oneself. |

What range of prices are you thinking about? If we are talking about pennies per movie I am not sure if that even covers the costs of storage and bandwidth. For each country it should be as usually - according to the average salary. Thus, the platform's target audience will be ready to pay. But in different countries the prices may vary much |
