@nomad1109: For sale stuff should usually go in here: Bitcointalk MarketplaceBut I don't think there's any problem with you posting in other places, with moderation.

Public Service Announcement: To the Trolls and those engaging with the Trolls. With noise staying at the present rate, we will most likely need to move into a self-moderated thread. A sensible Troll should Troll with moderation, or forever be quiet (ahem, moderated).

Thank you for this release presstab, and thank you allejupa for your contributions as well! Personally, I can't wait to get my hands the improved staking code. Something unique to High PoS coins, and particularly noticeable with HyperStake (as the network/holders are consistently competitive and difficulty keeps climbing), is that one needs to hold a lot of inputs and in large sizes, in order to have regular staking. At the extreme of the scale (a massive amount of inputs in a variety of sizes), PoS starts to vaguely resemble PoW, in that the stake hashing process is not negligible use of resources anymore, as the computational intensity rises. Optimizing the stake hashing will effectively be a 'green' feature, as it reduces CPU usage. I'll continue my pursuit for the ideal balance of input size vs number of inputs, to enjoy the most cost effective staking performance. With just a few exceptions along the way (the occasional lucky or unlucky input), my previous estimates appear to have been doing very well. My average stake time for the past month has been at ~20 days, which is exactly what I was aiming for. I'd call this an "aggressive" stake profile, as I'm staking on average, at 2/3 of the maximum weight for the inputs. A more "conservative" profile would aim towards the ~30 days average (in other words, full weight), resulting in less reward being capped, but also longer time to stake (thus less compounding). I had been suggesting a few weeks back, that we need to keep an eye on the average weight necessary to stake, and that the smaller inputs would eventually become "too lightweight to ever stake". I see that some people have dropped the age on their small inputs and pulled the trigger to combine them into larger inputs. How's staking performance for everyone else?

I need a hobby! Can you recommend one for me?
For hobby, there's lot's of cool stuff you could do. My suggestion would be to find something that involves physical exercise. Healthy body, healthy mind, and all that. Jogging perhaps? On that other post you just made: I don't really have a group so to speak, you're either confused, or paranoid. I kindly request that you move on. Everyone else: Please edit or remove text from troll-quotes. It's getting super noisy here!

I am here to warn everyone that the aliens are coming...
Observer34: you seem to have a lot of free time on your hands, but there has to be something better for you to do than to troll on a project that is clearly not for you. Serious people have invested on Sapience. At this point, Sapience has greatly risen in value since it's lowest point or even the crowd fund, so certainly, there will be some people eager to sell. Others believe that there's greater value in the future, so will be eager to buy. Not everything is a scam. Take it easy. Edit: I will stop exercising judgement over price swings and valuation as there are enough speculators around. There has been a lot of market activity over the last few days, and obviously, a lot of day traders will have picked up coins for their instant gratification needs. I believe in the long term of this project, and I trust that the price will eventually reflect its utility value. In my mind, what's more important now, is to get testnet going and giving the new features a serious workout!

I created this account just now in hopes of causing just enough FUD to get some cheap coins...
Nice one, got a giggle out of your post. This is some rather creative FUD you have there, good job!

If I'm pumping with my posts, I'm doing a shit job.
I have watched, I am sort of new spectator to this industry, but it seems to be that you are doing fantastic job. [...] I think you're overstating CrazyLoaf's reach there. He is clearly enthusiastic for Sapience/XAI, as are others around here (certainly myself included, though I try to be more moderate in my posts). To say that Sapience/XAI is increasing valuation due to the magical powers of CrazyLoaf's pumping, is largely dismissive of all the other (more important) factors of development going on with this particular project. If you're effectively studying how people value something that has no intrinsic value, I'd recommend that you avoid narrowly focusing on one person's actions, and try to see the bigger picture: the coin itself for it's goals, main developer and roadmap, the community, the initial funding, the milestones reached, the effective use case and what factors of demand have been proposed, the altcoin landscape in general, etc ... Best of luck!

Wow ... Seriously? Do you not care or follow at all the developments on the closely related Sapience/XAI project? Quotient/XQN features will rely heavily on the framework that is being developed in Sapience/XAI.
I will agree with you that communication from the dev concerning XQN has been lacking (and I will bug him for it), but other than that, you should really catch up on the Sapience/XAI developments as they will provide the fundamental pieces that will push Quotient/XQN forward.
Happy Staking!

I just noticed my wallet looks a lot different then the one on the first post You'll need to read the actual post to notice that the screenshot is for a sister project, Quotient/XQN! Don't be too worried. Holding Sapience/XAI, you're in the right place! If you don't have any Quotient/XQN, I'd say you should definitely have a look! Here you go: Quotient/XQN ANN

MagicOne, I'm just happy that Winky parted with his Sapience/XAI coins. This has been proving to be a very serious project, so we don't really need the guy that's only looking for the fast buck. He moves on to the next shiny thing, and it's one less distraction while we continue full speed ahead building the Brain in the Blockchain!

[...] most valuable giveaway in alt history???
It will be, once Sapience/XAI reaches its rightful value.
|
|
|
has anyone received those free coins yet?
The giveaway is not closed yet ntsdm. The coins will only be distributed after the claim period is over. the $XQN supply is bigger...and it doesnt lack dumpers
There's also the important fact that Quotient/XQN was mostly mined, and miners will dump at whatever value pleases their return rates. On the other hand, for Sapience/XAI there was no mining, and those that invested were individuals that believed in the project. Any serious investor will not part with his XAI coins easily, specially given how little was raised in the crowd fund, making the supply extremely short. Are we supposed to get a new wallet today?
I recall this next update to be 'testnet' only, but I might be wrong. For the range of features that XAI aims to deliver, a 'testnet' period is always necessary in order to validate the code, check for any bugs, obtain reliable performance statistics, etc. I know that there's more than one update on the pipeline, but I don't know how exactly the releases will be timed. Cheers!

At least, nobody buy, support is lower than ICO. And I have the patience to wait That is usually a wise move, and really, the worst that can happen is you sitting it out or joining at higher expense. The dreaded 'fear of missing out' makes a lot of bad decisions. Good luck picking up the cheap XAI

WTB 2500 afx I'd advise you to take them off the bitty market. It looks rather certain that most investors are not interested in any offers at the current valuation. I'm just looking at the ratio of recent buys & sells, pondered against the crowd funding prices. The few for sale at bitty are not likely to sit there for long.

Outra..... Estilo URO coin? Sim jpouza.

@etoque: People who were on the crowd funding got into the slack group by following the instructions posted here: Sapience AIFX $XAI Next StepsPerhaps you should PM the dev and find out if you'd be allowed in as "late investor", following the same procedure.

havent been staking.. assume there's not mac wallet update?
There was not an official update for Mac as I understand kyma. Someone has been staking on a non-official build that the person worked out and compiled on his own. If you feel so inclined, I can stake for you (for some tiny fee). Trust is a critical factor, and I will obviously understand if you don't take me up on the offer. I had been staking for another community member for a long time, but he's since moved on to a x64 setup and no longer requires my services. If you're interested, shoot me a PM here, or ping me on IRC (same nick, can find me in #sapience #quotient, though I will be afk at times). Happy Staking!

30k tomorrow and 100k next week? As we step back to recall the crowd fund prices: The few coins available up to 30K, will not be around for long. Note: I dislike any sort of pumping or hype (if unsubstantiated). However, I am following development progress up close, and we all know how much was invested at the crowd fund. That said, I have no choice but to feel very excited for what follows.
