It was down due to some router malfunction or misconfiguration in the datacenter (the pool was actually up, but not accessible from the internet), but is now working again.
singula, Could you have a look at the pool's transactions around the downtime? I think I'm missing payout for a day or two of mining, even though the down time was in the range of hours or so. I'll only have access to my miner in about a week, so can't really provide any details on this right now. Cheers, ~ Myagui

cach.catcoin.cz pool down and no one even cares about that? I care! My miner is actually not accessible to me at this time, so I know it is retrying the connection but otherwise not mining while Catcoin.cz is down. Hope it get's fixed soon! Cheers, ~ Myagui PS: Yes, yes, should have setup a retry timeout and a failover pool... Will make damn sure I do that before next time I got some unexpected and urgent travel coming up

I got 3 immature blocks, and a few orphans also, was certainly smooth at launch time, nothing "funny" that I could tell. KGW has kicked in though, and it's clear that there's a lot of hashing power being thrown at this.
Happy mining! ~ Myagui

A CUDA based heavycoin and fuguecoin miner will be released some time tonight (CET), as both of these coins are AMD GPU mineable now. This is not the cudaminer project, so it doesn't haveall the bells and whistles like autotune or automatic GPU architecture selection. It was fun to hold 50% of the fuguecoin network's hash rate with a small pool of nVidia cards. But fun seldom lasts forever Christian Haha! Many coins then Christian? I got 400 with my measly CPU, but granted I was *there* at difficulty ~0 (meaning, launch time) Cheers, ~ Myagui

And once again you blame the devs for something the exchange did... Grow up
Reminder: Please do not use full quotes when feeding the starving troll. I understand the need for some entertainment, but let's try to avoid polluting the thread Cheers, - Myagui Edit: And you can use an 'edit' to remove that monumental quote btw

i cant get cudaminer to start with these flags
-H 2 -i 0 -l K7x32, T10x24 -d 0, 1
just auto crashes
Too many spaces in that launch command? Should be instead: -H 2 -i 0 -l K7x32,T10x24 -d 0,1 You don't even need to care for -d 0,1, unless you have a 3rd, or 4th devices that you want to explicitly stay clear from cudaminer. Cheers, - Myagui

Every miner should know mathematics Your share is 936960 of 531161779, ie 0.00176398234407 - that is one block within the next 56689 blocks. If his luck is perfectly average, that is. With bad luck he might never get a block, with extreme luck he can get many of them! Btw, I'm on similar hashrate myself, and got a couple of them... Luck ftw! Cheers, - Myagui Edit: That math seems off btw. Can't check it now though, gotta go!

For a moment I thought I was posting at the wrong thread lol ... Get those AMD's and cgminer's outta here Christian, New coin, CPU only at the moment, complete lottery as it stands to ever reaching any meaningful exchange or value, but anyways, if you're interested in something that's not already run over by the gpu crowds: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=519138.0Now, if you do decide to work on this, keep it quiet please! I think you're drawing too much attention to yourself Cheers, - Myagui

Do I stand any chance to get a block with quad 2.5 ghz cpu?
Is there a gpu miner for this algo yet?
Yes, and No. Cheers, Myagui

Here's finger's crossed that Zeitcoin-Dev will have positive experiences to share from ZDay (was this past weekend). I'm thinking the team will have been out and about promoting Zeitcoin at the event, so it would be great if we'd see the community expanding lots over the next week or two.
Happy mining! - Myagui

Remember that someone who's put 6.6 BTC into EMO, can probably reach into his deep pockets again and buy another 2 or 3 BTC worth of votes. By all means keep voting, but don't get sucked into the hype that the exchange presence *right now* will make or break Zeitcoin's success. In in for the long run, eager for community initiatives to expand the coin's use beyond the 'crypto world', and making a stand as we promote TZM's principles (with or without their so-called-official support ). Onwards and Upwards! Myagui

Here's another 400KH/s stepping over to http://zeit.morecoins.orgSpread out people, I know it's nice and cozy at hashstrike, but we need the diversity - Myagui [edit: make that 1MH/s ... Going All In ]

ok i've just build latest gatra code and gap all dependencies DLLs now (who can guide me to build static with cygwin64 would be appreciate), but since gatra will build for windows binaries soon, so you guys should wait on him instead Mehh! Fair enough. Waiting, really want to see RIC support expanding to pools-that-are-not-ypool, so will be testing as soon as Gatra posts the official goodies later on! Thumbs up, - Myagui

But adding a fixed fee can be removed by editing the sources.... But, you can make a donation, if you want Christian I'd be happy with a fixed fee and binary release only. If sources are to be made available, I hereby pledge 5% of my earnings - Myagui

Would a kind soul send me the absolute minimum CACH so I can confirm I have a working wallet? I'll be happy to return with 100% interest (but make it really the minimum amount lol)

Sent 0.1 CACH - enjoy. Thank you Sy, will return 0.2 after I get my mining proceeds confirmed. Do I read correctly that it takes 7 days for mined blocks to mature? Ouch! - Myagui

truckythink, thanks for the test builds. These do not run on my system (win 8 x64), seems like i'm missing cygwin dll's as I don't have it installed. Can you build with static linking? (not sure I'm saying this right) Cheers, Myagui

Anybody has an idea why when I tried overclocking my gtx 465 with the nvidia configuration panel or any other overclocking program, nothing really happen, even worst reaching a certain point, the hashrate on cudaminer starts decreasing to 90 or 50 kh/s....
On another computer I was getting 180kh/s at gpu clock +175 without any problems. (PSU was only 380w) But now can't reach more than 120kh/s and overclocking do absolutely nothing.... ?!?! (with a corsair 750w and a better motherboard...)
Any clue why ?!?!
That nvidia model strikes me as an oldie. Me thinks you might need to test it again with earlier cudaminer releases, as latest versions might have dropped the love for the oldies. Other than that, hard to say, perhaps drivers, mb bios, etc. Note also that many times, overclocking produces the opposite to the desired effect, particularly when heat and/or hardware errors start to come up. Best of luck, - Myagui

For anyone relying on the chrome trick for maximum speed: Have you tried the K-boost option on EVGA's precisionX tool?
I got a system crash the moment I hit the K-boost switch and haven't tried it since. Would love to hear more about it. This would happen to me too, until I tried resetting all overclock settings and have mining stopped *before* hitting the K-boost feature. With K-boost ON, I haven't needed the Chrome trick, but on the other hand, these are dedicated mining cards, 'cause if I had any idle time on them, I'd avoid K-boost since it keeps the cards in full power mode at all times. Cheers, Myagui

Afaik the lowercase k kernel is preferred over the K kernel in that case. Same with t
Have been trying with both, but haven't found a setting yet that shows any improvement with lowercase versus uppercase. Thanks for the suggestion though, I might still get there! for 770 is -i 0 -h 2 -c 0 -m 0 -l K108x1 dont use Lookgap yet and please not for what i observed n=11 has only 20% or ur regular scrypt haash This definitely improved my 770 hashing performance. Thanks! - Myagui [edit] Oh, 20% of scrypt performance, is roughly where I'm at now, so no need for much head scratching I suppose! Thanks again!
