Motherfucker. Now all my pools, including fail overs are down. When are the big operators going to get some decent DDOS protection?
DDOS protection costs a lot. Only biggest BTC pools can afford it.

At this point anything through stratum proxy is not working
Maybe it is problem with your connection? For last 4 hours LTC pool is working at 500-550 MH/s. Only website sometimes needs very long time to open.

For last few hours some users experienced slower loading of our website. Probably part of this morning attack on LTC pools. Nonetheless mining is not affected. DDoS protection seems to work.

Over 80% of LTC miners use Stratum. On Friday we introduced X-Stratum support in LTC getwork pool.

I wonder if the Min. withdrawal Threshold could be reduced on LTC now the hashrate is high, 10 LTC is high for someone that uses cpu for ltc nowdays.
+1 My hashing power is very limited, and difficulty has risen sharply. FYI We've decreased LTC Minimum Withdrawal Threshold to 1 LTC. LTC payouts below 10 LTC will be decreased by 0.1 LTC. We have to cover fees the litecoin client automatically adds. LTC payouts above (and equal to) 10 LTC will be processed without any change.

FYI I turned on SSL on website.

Hi, I have stopped mining litecoins, and I have 5.50340927 litecoins stuck on the pool. It won't let me pay out because there is no manual payout button and it's below the 10 litecoin automatic payout threshhold. Could you please force a payout of the remaining balance to the litecoin address on file? My account name is ssateneth
Done.

This morning I performed PPC client upgrade. Coinotron is using version 0.3.0 now.

Plans for "> 450MH/s" scenario: - Decrease fee
- Migrate to new hardware
I'll think about that if hashrate will be greater than 450 MH/s. Just ... don't let the oprhans slip out of your sight They can be extremely painful when time per block ~ 90 s

I've been using the coinotron pool for a few days now and things have been running smooth.
One small suggestion, how about an SSL based login on the site?
SSL certs are cheap these days, like $10/year for a rapidSSL.
Keep up the good work.
Coinotron will have https again very soon

How long does it take for the accurate hash rates to shows for my miners? I have set up a 6770 (108.4 KH/s, cgminer = 135.1KH/s ), and a 6870 (59.4 KH/s, cgminer = 147.1 KH/s). The 6770 is showing close to what cgminer is showing, but the 6870 is way off. It's been about 30 minutes. The 6870 is the second miner, would that matter? New to litecoin. Simple answer = 10 min. If your miner hashrate is not very high (6870) and you are mining at stratum pool where share difficulty is 32, then variance of hashrates reported by website may be way off Your miner simply doesn't submit enough shares in 10 min period to allow pool calc accurate estimations of miners' hashrate.

hmm strange, TRC hashrate > LTC hashrate

Seems like .00044154 is double .00022077. Your calculator working?
You are correct. .00044154 ( at share diff 32) is double .00022077 (at share diff 16 ) In other words: reward 0.00044154 is doubled but additionally your work is twice as much difficult

Coinotron lists a 3.5% PPS fee, and the PPS rate is 0.00022077 Notroll.in lists a 4% fee and the PPS rate is 0.00043249324521070000
So.. What accounts for this difference? cgminer is showing them both at 32 difficulty.
This rate is calculated for getwork pool where share difficulty = 16. Stratum diff is 32.

cgminer -o stratum+tcp://coinotron.com:3334 -u workername -p password --scrypt
why do I have only 50.0Kh/s with a 5870 with this command? (with BTC = 400Mh/s) I think it should be more... need to tune for your card. look here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=117221.0And wait 10 minutes. Hashrate calc is based on 10 min period.

Without reading the whole thread, what is the best, pain-free miner to use, coinotron, and where do I get it?
Thanks
Cgminer, http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/ Simplest command to start: cgminer -o stratum+tcp://coinotron.com:3334 -u workername -p password --scrypt
