681  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price drop 40% we thing causes "Corona virus" and world economic problem on: March 16, 2020, 10:01:48 PM
I believe that the whole world is only entering a decisive and critical stage in the fight against coronovirus.
The economies of all countries will be in great decline due to external and internal economic constraints in the country. In view of this, all markets will continue to fall, as well as cryptocurrency.

I couldn't agree more with @TravorS. The virus outbreak is a real problem and what's even more worrying is that its spread is exponential, so its rapidness has seen several severe cases with quite a few already dead. The fact that every country's government is applying policies in place by means of reducing mass contact means a toll not only on the crypto market but the whole world overall.

On the positive side, the climate is benefiting from it, though it is a shame that this is caused by this devastating event  Sad
682  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think about WhiteBit exchange? on: March 16, 2020, 03:52:13 PM
Beware, No guarantee or warranty of your money if it doesn't meet the minimum requirement of WhiteBit.com people even though you're not a direct customer of it and has externally put money on them for instance incases of deposits.

Dear user.  https://whitebit.com/terms Paragraph 6 (Operations on the account) Section 6.5
WHITEBIT is entitled to set and change minimum/maximum limits for Depositing and Withdrawing the Funds at its discretion. WHITEBIT will not be liable for not making any prior notices to the Users regarding such changes.
In such case:
if the Account was deposited with an amount less than the minimum for Depositing, the Funds will not be deposited to the User’s Account on the Platform and will not be refunded to the User; deposits with the sizes, which do not meet the established minimum, are not cumulative;
Thank you for pointing out this one. I used this Whitebit exchange when the time I needed money badly so I decided to sell some of my MB8coins on their platform. Nevertheless, I never encountered any problems undergoing the KYC process. But I will take note of this, so whenever I will make trade again I would be careful and will always check the minimum requirement before making a deposit.

Actually, by checking these things in advance before you deposit your money can save you the later struggle and potential loss. Having said this though, I find it ridiculous that when you want to deposit a lower amount than the minimum requirement that you don't get an error message, and not allowing you you to do so Angry
and that instead, if you do make that mistake you lose your money - how frustrating  Sad
683  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $ 3884 again? on: March 16, 2020, 11:37:28 AM
Almost all say that it is very possible for the price of BTC to go down again and I agree with that, especially if you look at other markets such as gold stocks which have also declined, my question how long for BTC to back at price of 10k USD? I am very curious about this

It does seem that the market got upset again and the trend is once again downwards. It really is possible that the BTC price might scrape ~ $3,500 again as it looks like everything caught volatility - it's also just so frustrating to see this since it only seemed that the market was recovering from the previous dip  Undecided
684  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TOP 6 RULES IN CRYPTO TRADING on: March 15, 2020, 11:29:24 PM
A lot of rules to be consider and yet many traders are failing on this one. Trading is not easy and for me its more on a mental battle because you should be more focus than to panic. We are experiencing a very volatile market right now, these rules can help us to stay focus and stay safe during this trends, its better to follow than to regrets on your trading.

The rules in principle are simple, but in real time and situations they are rarely executed and this can be done either knowingly or unknowingly. Unknowingly, for example, when the market moves quicker than you expect and the delay in your move has cost you money!

Also the rule about cutting losses early is especially hard to implement given human greediness.
685  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Margin trading. Where to start? on: March 15, 2020, 08:22:31 PM
I would actually suggest to go for margin trading only if you have gained some previous experience in spot trading. Margin trading is a lot helpful for all those who have limited capital but posses the capability to overcome huge risk for huge profits. Margin trading actually allows us to trade wit 3 times more capital than the actual capital invested.

This makes us able to gain major profits keeping risk as constant. There are number of people who are gaining huge profits from margin trading but also there are some who had none profits but also lost each of their funds used for margin trading. In-experienced traders going for margin trading would never give you profit.
The fact is that I always meet a fairly large amount of information that professional traders main type of earnings is margin trading, which gives a very large profit.  But at the same time, everyone who reads such lines should understand that the professionalism of such traders should be at a great height, with a very large amount of knowledge and experience.  Margin trading makes it possible to use large amounts of capital for trading that a third party provides to the user, and you need to take into account the fact that it is almost like a kind of loan, non-payment of which leads to big problems.

Concerning the matter of margin trading, the consequences can be so high that many people decided to settle instead for digital trading. That way they themselves have control over their money, in the end having stable and less risky profit for the long term is more important than having a large burst at extremely high cost.

So like most of these guys on here, I wouldn't recommend margin trading unless you absolutely have the knowledge and large amounts of cash you can do without since the risks are so high.
686  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 150k Users Crypto Exchange for Sale! on: March 15, 2020, 06:22:14 PM
Would anybody take you seriously on this? Only asking since the selling of such an asset often comes from things like not doing well in the business, that's assuming that this exchange that you're talking about even exists. What's strange to me is that there was no mention of what the platform was  Huh I dunno, it all sounds dubious to me  Shocked
687  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any trading chat rooms? on: March 15, 2020, 03:47:49 PM
As far as I'm aware there are not serious and legit trade chat rooms, even if it comes at the price of paying to be a part of it. The best, fairest and probably honest trade related stories you could read and learn from are still found on forums like this, though you'd need to be filtering out quite a bit, but in anyway I wouldn't recommend paying too much attention to these though - it's still best to learn through the hard way!
688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: March 15, 2020, 12:16:59 PM
There are plenty of centralized exchanges that also provide access to your private keys, and there are custodian solutions like BitGo and Ledger Vault that also do the same.

Therefore your suggestion that all centralized wallets are dangerous is incorrect, since centralized wallets sometimes allow you to access your own funds even if the platform goes down
689  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BUY with leverage on: March 14, 2020, 09:57:27 PM
The math is straightforward. If you borrow $2000 for 180 days and it costs you 0.01%/4 hours, or 0.06%/day, it will cost you 10.8% or $216. Your profit is $40000 - $4000 - $216, or $35784.

Exactly, it all depends on the contract and policies that Kraken had in place at the time of the transaction, and what was wavered or not. If the numbers are known, then as above it can be really easy to work out exactly how much profit or loss you encountered!

But tbh I wouldn't buy with leverage in place simply because I usually I'm not in the favour of interest rates  Embarrassed
690  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to buy Bitcoin (since halving is coming) on: March 14, 2020, 07:04:46 PM
~snip~

Hi, pezdspense. Think carefully before deciding to buy bitcoins for cash, as this leads to loss of anonymity, which is very important for cryptologists. Think about purchasing bitcoins in small batches to minimize the risk on one of the trading platforms of undemanding KYC.
Undoubtedly, today is a very good opportunity to buy cheap Bitcoin before the next halving, since prices have decreased by more than 30%.  But regarding the provision of passport data at the time of purchase, Bitcoin scares few.  I personally do not see anything wrong with what KYC will require for me when buying Bitcoin for cash.  Moreover, in my country there is no state ban on the use and trade of cryptocurrency, although there is a minimum amount for which additional documents may be required.  but for me it’s not cretical.  Why are you so negative about Kyc and afraid of it?

I bought it and it already cost more.
What a fantastic opportunity for lazy investors like me Wink

Well, just hope that this opportunity as you see it at the moment won't change against you, and trust me we all have experienced this - buying when things seem like will pick up. I do think that despite what the future holds, its a good investment but it will all be long-term, maybe months maybe years  Huh

I'm optimistic that one day, though you and other believers like me will reap off the benefits of buying in now!
691  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is better than Holding on: March 14, 2020, 05:48:43 PM
Everyone single one of us has better aptitudes towards one thing over another and this is true for trading and holding. It also depends on what type of investor you are, whether you go for instant or long-term profit, or whether you do well under the market pressure or not.

For some, holding is the best they can do given their circumstance while for other trading suits them best. In my opinion, it's all very personal!
692  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is everyone expecting continuous growth? on: March 14, 2020, 03:26:12 PM
We all were and dare say, we still are expecting continuous growth because otherwise we assume that our investments until now have been in vain and thus puts us all in a very difficult situation, so to avoid this we hope for the best.

In fact, there are other non-opinion based reasons, one of them is to do with the fact that the market dip we saw a few days ago was crazy with nothing like it being seen before so the chances are that we should see recovery. Another reason is the soon to be BTC halving event.  In my opinion at least this is why I think most of us (I hope) remain optimistic.
693  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: i want to buy 3 BTC with paypal on: March 14, 2020, 02:59:00 PM
if anyone is interested plz pm me.
Escrow only!

Only way that would be possible would be If they were held in escrow for at least 180 days after the pay pal was sent. You are much more likely to get a deal by just withdrawing the funds to your bank account

That's right and the reason you'd need to wait for roughly 180 days is to avoid being back payed with paypal, which means that the person can send you the money via paypal and a few weeks after get that payment back from you by using paypal's policy. This is why it would make more sense to do a bank transfer from somebody with a really good reputation, so you can minimise the risk of getting scammed.
694  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: ★★★ TRADE BTC TO PAYPAL & FIAT CURRENCIES TO BTC HERE ★★★ on: March 13, 2020, 10:34:21 PM
So the whole service that you provide is a mutual exchange of either BTC to paypal or fiat to BTC, and you have had some experience in the past already. I was pleasantly surprised that you also offer to use an escrow, if the other party requires and I thank that already puts you in a totally different position from others which unlike you, give off a dodgy vibe.

Anyway, I hope you get some customers, and you mentioned scaling up, are you thinking of setting something up in the form of a website or something?
695  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: we are so close to HALVING !!!are these dumps CONNECT to halving time??? on: March 13, 2020, 12:30:34 PM
To be fair with you, I'm not 100% certain that this dump is connected to halving. It may well be, though I'm not aware of any source of info connecting to it. However, this volatility has not been seen for ages, if ever, with the market crush of ~30% in just one day, and what's prudent to consider is the virus pandemic which may also have an indirect implication in this  Embarrassed
696  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to start: Daytrading? on: March 13, 2020, 09:57:54 AM
I would advise you to refrain from trading while the market is unstable. It is very dangerous to start trading now, as the market may break in any direction at any time. Now even experienced traders are watching from the outside.

I agree with you that as the things are right now, any trade form an unexperienced person could only lead towards massive losses. This would be the case, irrespective of the amount you use to trade, and that's all because of the volatility and these all low historic market lows across all cryptos!
697  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Bitcoin for sale on: March 12, 2020, 11:46:30 PM
Sounds nothing but a big bag of baloney.  Interesting how you only allow for bank transfer and not use Paypal like a normal person would use, at least with Paypal one could reverse the payment but that's not possible via bank. You better scatter off to some place else trying to scum newbies!
698  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tether Treasury Mints Another $60m USDT!! is it going to effect bitcoin price? on: March 12, 2020, 07:50:03 PM
The graphs of supply of usdt v btc often show this trend, I don't know how the correlation has gone recently, but in the past when tether saw a spike in its supply, btc took a few days to follow so it'll likely still be doing the same again.

If anything it opens up an increase in liquidity without having to kyc and go direct to fiat as its a half way step... And more liquidity generally means a safer looking investment.

It recently seems that with so much volatility that usdt vs btc relationship is very tight, and from what I've seen today both varied quite a lot though how strong their dependencies are I'm not sure about. At this rate, it would seem logical to assume that whatever happens to one the opposite effect will follow shortly on the other one. It also looks however that all of the markets are in the red zone, so good time to buy in but not so much for selling!
699  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening ? on: March 12, 2020, 12:42:35 PM
Honestly, there is so much going on in the market that, I think every little tweak leads to market price change  Shocked
Like for instance, the stock market has dropped by a significant amount, and while this should not cause any crypto market changes, it may have some effect.

In addition, the volatility between stable coins like USDT and the non-stable coins is also huge and every time one shifts in one direction, the other moves in the opposite direction - a negative inverse relationship
700  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to buy Bitcoin (since halving is coming) on: March 12, 2020, 10:15:00 AM
Hi guys,

I live in Florida, and I would like to buy Bitcoin now.
I want to get some 2 BTC.

Where should I look for sellers who can accept cash?

First of all, I think it is a very good idea to buy in the market now because after all of the coronavirus thing, together with the BTC halving event, the market, in my opinion will recover to hopefully a new high. As for the transaction for cash, you'd have to probably resort to meeting in a public space, face to face, having some security in place and do it that way. Cash transactions are less easier to do since it takes a little more effort!

Good luck, though!
