681  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HODL is not advisable! on: September 12, 2018, 03:55:21 PM

Holding cryptocurrency is no good because it means you don’t have a knowledge about trading, for me, you can do scalping trading and increase your holding by it and gain profit.

NO, it is not. Holding cryptocurrency doesn't mean that you don't have any knowledge about it, it is just a simple strategy that instead on losing profits on the panic selling, you would rather hold your tokens and wait, but also, it could the other way around just like what you have said. Hodling is a wise idea for me and not for those people who don't know how to Trade their tokens, in my opinion.

But sometimes, too much hodling could lead on losing your profits because of your greed, so be wise and be active on daily trading prices of the tokens you are holding.
682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They want you to panic :-> on: September 12, 2018, 12:48:19 PM
When the price of a commodity drop with no reason, you should know that it is being manipulated. The reasons for this is quite simple, because a lot of people know this is a fake crash and they are going to make millions, when other people start to panic and start selling their coins at these low prices.

The secret to maximize your profits in this game is to buy coins at the lowest price possible and then again to sell at the highest price possible.

What do you do if people are hoarding their coins and refuse to sell? You simulate a fake crash by stockpiling your coins over a long period and then dumping those coins at once to trigger a small crash. You then buy back these coins at a lower price than what you bought them and wait for the market to recover.

This is what is happening now, because there is NO reason for this sudden drop in the price? Hold onto those coins as long as you can, because these greedy bastards will manipulate the markets to cause chaos and panic.

Different people, different tactic just to earn money. Whales is the term for those people who are manipulating the price of tokens in the market by dumping it, they are selling their huge amount of tokens so the price of those tokens they sold will crash, causing panic to all of the people who are holding those tokens, and the whale would take that advantage, they are going to buy back, and hodl then sell when its price pumps.

A simple strategy yet very effective if you have the capability to do so, whales are the greedy ones in the market, they are thirsty when it comes on making money, so don't get fooled guys.
683  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Right time to buy a lot of bitcoin. on: September 12, 2018, 10:56:48 AM
Recently, there is no point in investing in cryptocurrencies, however, if there is a strong desire to buy - it is better to buy good old Bitcoin.

I disagree, at first there will be no point for you to invest in cryptocurrency because you don't have any idea about it so you don't have any interest on it, and your mission is to find your "point" in life---cryptocurreny. At first, you might find cryptocurrency a complicated matter to deal with, so much knowledge to learn, so much time you need to dedicate in order to get better and to find your point which would be the reason for you to invest in cryptocurrency.

It is not mandatory to engage in cryptocurrency world, it is a choice to be made by you, it is a big decision in life where you will either regret it or be grateful about it because you take the risk.
684  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I stop trading in this bear market? on: September 12, 2018, 10:05:57 AM
Trading is like an addiction, but this bear market seems will be very long. Bitcoin is going to under 6k USD, ETH is now 262 USD, Almost 80% coin fell down. I can't make profits at this moment in trading, Because after getting a little bit of profit, the market again goes under, then another coin eats my profit too. What should I do now?

Just hold like the usual thing we do if the market is going down. If you are afraid to take the risk even further, I'd suggest that stop trading before you blame yourself for whatever might happen. There is no reason to panic if you still have your tokens, it is not the end of the world, maybe the market is down for a while but soon it will be back on its green track again.

It is normal to have this kind of market, we have to expect that it could happen once a year and after this we will have the profits we are looking for.
685  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: share some trading strats on: September 12, 2018, 03:24:10 AM
Good day, I am thinking of starting trading again.
Should I wait for the market to recover or now is
a good time to trade? what are your thoughts?

If you don't have the money to buy altcoins, then wait and hodl your altcoins until the market becomes bullish trend again, that is the only strategy you have. But having this bearish market is a huge opportunity to make huge profits(like what whales are doing), buying in the dip then selling when it skyrockets, this year is going to end soon, meaning we are hoping that the market will recover again and soon the prices of Altcoins will pump.

But you could still earn tokens with bounties without investing any money, so saved your tokens you've earned in bounties, and wait for the right time to sell it.
686  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will you trade Bitcoin to buy Altcoins? on: September 12, 2018, 02:13:11 AM
I suggest you not to sell bitcoin because it is getting more people's attention now, and most of the altcoins are affected by the fall of ETH!

It is not that bad if someone will trade his bitcoin to buy altcoins, it is taking the risk, maybe he did that because he wanted to make more money, you won't lose any of your profits by that because you have the Altcoin in return, if you also know how to trade Altcoins, then it is a win-win for you. Other people just wanted to hodl their bitcoins because they don't what to do about it, what they know is to earn it and hodl it.

What am I doing right now is I'm earning bitcoin and I use it on buying Ethereum and going to hodl it for long term I guess to make more profits out of it. Sometimes, you need to look what is in the future for you to have guts on investing and not only look on what is in front of you.
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties on: September 11, 2018, 03:32:23 PM
if in my opinion, when will they distribute tokens to the bounty participants. that depends on the ico seller, if the ico is quickly successful then they will immediately distribute their tokens to the bounty participants.

Not so fast, before they distribute it to all of the participants, first they will distribute the tokens first to their investors, then they will take their time before they give it to all of the bounty participants, they have a lot of things to do before that to happen, they will list it on a certain exchange, they will recheck again the spreadsheets if it is correct, and all other important stuffs.

It may take two weeks, or even a month before all of the participants receive their bounty, and the worst case scenario is that the distribution date might extend every time or they might get scam.
688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Red Period but be Patient on: September 11, 2018, 12:42:49 PM
It's hard to stay calm when the market falls very much. But in such falls strong projects will survive. And all scam will disappear. so I'm afraid to sell at a loss, although many advise so. Embarrassed

It is not, well it depends on how mentally strong you are, because if you know that it is only for temporary then why bother panicking right? Probably you are just new in Trading that is why you are having a hard time calming yourself whenever there is a dip happening in the market. I could not blame you for that, I guess that is normal because you are only afraid that you have lost your profits already, but you'll get use to it, trust me.

Time will come that you'll just ignore when the market is on the bearish trend because you know what to do, you know the drill.
689  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin Talk has made me a bit sad today. on: September 11, 2018, 10:28:56 AM
I'm so grateful that there are still good Samaritans in this world, and you are one of them. Being concerned about this forum also to the members of it is really a wonderful thing to be heard. Your motive is great(which is to help) people to improve their post quality to avoid so much spamming in this forum, which is too hard to be solve, merit systems doesn't even waver them. People would ignore your project if they are not interested on it, simple as that.

The conclusion that came up to my mind is that, no matter how hard we try to help them, if they don't want any help, then we can't do anything about them, they will keep doing what they are doing and ignore the right thing to do. So, there must be a limit for it, my suggestion is that there should be a bot or something that will monitored every post that would be made here in this forum 24/7, if the bot detected that is just a spam post, then it would get denied, so the poster would need to change his posting style until he fits to the requirement post.

I know this is too much to ask, but we need to be more strict about our policy here, we have to force them to make quality post, or else in no time, this forum will be flooded of spam posts, just my opinion.
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling, Money is not everything on: September 11, 2018, 09:38:41 AM
What is the prime motto for your gambling.
Many people here are against considering gambling as a earning source. Without money, you will not be able to gamble.
Just for fun type of gamblers, only a demo account or a video game is more than enough.

Please share your ideas on role of money in gambling.

I agree with what you said as I see gambling as an entertainment only and not a source of income. I don't know why other gamblers see gambling as a source of income for them. Maybe they are too lucky that they are winning most of the times or they are just addicted unto it and they can't stop  themselves. For me, gambling is for fun only and yeah demo account or an game in android will make you fun already. You don't need to spend too much if you want to entertain yourself.

Did you know there are many professional gamblers out there? I mean, yeah it's hard to make gambling to become a source of income but there are happened out there. Like daniel negreanu the poker player.

They are professionals and most of us are not, meaning they are lot more experienced when it comes to gambling than us and there there is no doubt that they are making money with gambling. So, they make money and we can't even if we wanted to, gambling is not for us and that is the whole point of quitting believing that we could make money on it. We have to know the difference, we don't have to push ourselves into something we are not capable to do so.

There are so many ways out there, let's quit being blinded by the idea of gambling winning big money, that won't happen unless you are lucky enough or the odds are in your favor. Wake up guys before it is too late.
691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Is Your Worst Moment in Gambling? on: September 11, 2018, 07:54:32 AM
the worst moment came when I was not able to control myself, I bet all the money I got, which I should have won and finally lost big. This as an experience if we have won it might be better to go home and play again next time.

Most of us had this kind of experience in gambling, that didn't control themselves, they let the greed consume them, and then all of their money was gone for that day. Worst thing mostly could happen to us when we are playing gambling, I'm sure of that, though we have different definition of how worst it is could be. We are human, and the majority of the population worship the money, it is the thing that is important to them.

Therefore you can't tell that everyone could just quit after he won in gambling, it depends on how he is going to take that, either he will see it as a positive sign to continue, or the negative sign to quit and try again tomorrow.
692  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading or not? on: September 11, 2018, 06:38:25 AM
If I lost most of my capital in one coin, I will hold the first to coin it up again, whether it can be called trading or not?
Give your opinion Smiley

You could call it Trading but it is not the real Trading, real Trading is when you are buying and selling different coins from time to time to make the profits you wanted, and putting all of the eggs in just one basket is not really an advisable thing to do. When you are just a newbie in the Trading world, it is important to know that starting with a smaller amount is ideal, that way, you could avoid such things that happened to you.

There is another option to solve that problem of yours, and yes, just hodl it and wait for its price to go up again, lucky you if it pumps, however, accept the fact that you lost your profits if what is going to happen is the other way around.
693  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Everyone loses money when the market is down right? on: September 11, 2018, 05:53:56 AM
To make the story short, and obviously yes of course, everyone loses money when the market is down, technically the prices are all going down so that would mean that your money is also decreasing, your profits are gone. But it doesn't mean that you will see it as a negative sign, it could an advantage if you are a smart trader, when the market is down, it is the right time for you to buy Altcoins that you could use in Trading(just be picky when you are going to buy) don't buy randomly.

But it is not literally you are losing your money, it is not permanent, it is just for temporary and in time, the market will be green again, your profits would be back or you could have even more.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Country and Cryptos on: September 10, 2018, 04:32:44 PM
I'm curious, how big are cryptos in your country? Are they still collectively referred to as bitcoin, or do news reports and local media actually dive into their merit and the difference between coins, projects, companies etc. I'm from Canada and most of the current news is wavering between reports of malware installing mining agents and the Canadian Security Exchange cracking down on ICO sales.

My country is not against cryptocurrency, but they are still doubting it because of people who are using the name of bitcoin to scam other people. Also the other problem we have is the biased media, they are reporting bullshits which is not even true, they are adding up stories which they have invented to fool other people, how pathetic, no wonder we are not making any progress here in our country because we seek for "change" yet most of us here can't begin the change from themselves.

There are people though who knows cryptocurrency here in our country, they do mining, trading, and even bounty hunting, all of the ways just to earn cryptocurrency, the president is cool with it, I'm not hearing any news that they are going to ban it or something worst.
695  Other / Archival / Re: is EVERY ico a scam?? on: September 10, 2018, 03:39:26 PM
in fact, there are many ico scams. but not all ico is a scam. You must be smart in choosing ico so you don't get ico scam.

That's right, especially now that there are many ICOs that have sprung up and are scam too. so to choose an ICO for investment or to take part in a bounty it's better to be telephoned right so that the selected ICO is not a scam it can work well

There are still many ICOs that are not scam, there are only few worthless projects that turned out to be a scammed. However, we can't avoid those kinds of ICOs, it is a trial and error, we could tell what will happen in the future of the ICO that we joined, all that we could do is to hope for a success project for them so we could get our salary in return, that way, all of our efforts and hard works will be paid off.

Answering OP's question, if all of the ICOs are scam, then what is the point of them creating project if they know that there are no people who would buy their tokens when their ICO starts, it doesn't make any sense. Therefore, not all of the ICO are scams.
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to earn token and coin free ? on: September 10, 2018, 02:52:19 PM
There are many ways to get tokens free.
-bounty and airdrop
-KYC
-Translation

I think KYC should not be included in the list, KYC is just a program, it is a process where you need to verify your identity to them for you to receive your profits or the tokens rather. Let's talk about bounty, and Airdrop that you have mentioned as ways on earning free token. Airdrop, is the most easiest way to earn free token, you are just going to do some task like following their twitters, facebook page, and so on. Bounty, it composed of different types, these are:

1. Twitter Campaign
2. Facebook Campaign
3. Telegram Campaign
4. YouTube Campaign
5. Signature Campaign
6. Translation
7. Article

But not all of the bounties you could find have these all, mostly they just have, twitter, facebook, telegram, translation(which I think is one of the most important), and signature campaign. If you are in the Translation campaign, then it is a sure win, you will receive many tokens, second to that is Signature Campaign.
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the benefits of Crypto Currency? on: September 10, 2018, 12:08:12 PM
Benefits of cryptocurrency for me:
1. Security - Unlike fiat, cryptocurrency is much safer for me because you are the one who is managing your money, you have your private key which nobody knows about it, just you. Cryptocurrency is hard to be steal by someone because a thief won't ask for your cryptocurrency since they only want fiat.

2. Anonymity- You are 100 percent sure that you are anonymous when having a transaction in cryptocurrency, which gives you more privacy than when you are using fiat, and this is what I like the most about cryptos.

3. Convenient - It is less hassle to use cryptocurrency than fiat, you could make transaction anytime, anywhere you wanted in a fast way, compare to fiat which you need to go the bank first and wait for an hour or more, go to a remittance center to send money to someone which is time consuming.

These are my favorite advantages of cryptocurrencies for me, there is a lot of things to be discussed if I am going to say all of it, so I've only mentioned three of it.

698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SLeepless nights doing bounty campaign is it worth it? on: September 10, 2018, 10:41:01 AM
Of course, you need a lot of time to give generous companies and perform related tasks, only from my own experience I will say! monotonous work is very stressful on, and then does not want these awards!

Bounties will just gives you two things in life, profits or disappointments. There are times that most of the bounties you have joined gave you small salary even though you spent so much time on it, then disappointment comes after, and there are times that some of the bounties you have joined gave you a salary that you never expected in the first place, bigger ones. In short, you'll never know if it is going to be worth it or not if you are not going to give it a try.

That is what you called taking the risk, it is a do or die thing, fifty percent of your chances could be negative and the other fifty percent is negative, lucky you if you always gets bigger salary on your bounty.
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or ETH in 2018 on: September 10, 2018, 08:39:17 AM
Recently, I became disappointed in Ethereum and I think that it will never rise to the previous heights. Ethereum developers don't hurry to introduce innovations, therefore the absolute winner this year will be bitcoin.

I would go for bitcoin always, because honestly, Ethereum will have to travel so far to reach Bitcoin, for me Bitcoin is untouchable by the other coins, they should have known that bitcoin always says to all of the altcoins is "You could never reach me in the way you are right now even in the future", I mean Bitcoin is their mother, without Bitcoin I guess there will be no Altcoins in the market.

The idea of Altcoins came from Bitcoin concept, they just copied that idea and still copying to produce other cryptocurrency hoping to beat bitcoin, I don't know how many years they need to realize that Bitcoin could never be replace by any Altcoins out there.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins better than bicoins right now? on: September 10, 2018, 07:18:15 AM
With the price of bitcoin continuously going down, do you think that altcoins could be better right now than bitcoins? I trust that bitcoin prices will still rise perhaps next year, but with the price still going down, maybe altcoins have a better chance. What do you guys think?

Altcoins are also going down and not just bitcoin, all of the coins in the market are, but that doesn't mean that Altcoins is better to have than bitcoins. Bitcoin is still the one who owns the throne, and as of now, no altcoins could take the throne, I assumed that Bitcoin would be the number 1 for lifetime. If you are going to think of it, there are so many things that they should reconsider before they could dethroned Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a coin where it is so complicated to compete with, it would be better if we are going to support it rather than to think of a solution to overcome its superiority against all of the Altcoins in the cryptocurrency world.
