701  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Antminer U3 (USA) on: March 15, 2015, 09:43:09 PM
check crazyguy's thread, or his site asicpuppy.net, he just recently got some in.

he is way to expensive he is selling one for $60 plus $11 shipping. when bitmain is selling one for $20

Bitmain requires a minimum buy of 20 units.
702  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: {wts} 2antminer s1 on: March 15, 2015, 03:37:31 PM
Scrypt gone

Received the miners today - due to a mixup the miners originally went to WC instead of NC.

One of the miners has a broken USB port, so I'll try to fix that now. Both were incredibly dusty and one had a broken fan, also they both have broken wires, etc...

I'll give them love and work on it. Hopefully you're willing to work with me on the non-working miner.

Thanks again.

I'm also east coast. I don't see anything about the price.

There are a lot of errors in your main post, including a tag that shouldn't be there.

Just doesn't seem professional from the outside looking in.

Its really gone quiet in here....

not so sure this is a good thing or a bad thing  Undecided

No trolls at least :-)

When doing code development, I tend to not say much.

Working to make the coin hard fork at a certain block - having issues with the scope of some of our variable declarations.

I'll post here more often in order to be more transparent.

Thanks.

What is stopping you from taking the solo payment and running?

Funny question. What is stopping all other pool operators from taking a block and running?!? We don't want to take anything from miners. We have bitcoins. Even more, we are giving away our own bitcoins as bonuses to miners just to make them mine with us.

A lot of other pools have reputable owners, etc. Just a thought.

I provided the above fix for the mininginfo not working. I'm also the person referenced in adaryian's previous post. I'll provide a signed message from the address listed on my account as proof that we've agreed to my work for tips. We haven't arranged any upfront payment and I'm doing this only expecting him to pay for work received if he feels it is worthy of payment.

Code:

Working on E-Currency - starting 3/11/15.

About to begin work on fixing the ports issue. Thanks.

EDIT:

Above is the E-Currency address I will accept any payments from, for transparency.
709  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Old Hardware for Purchase? on: March 11, 2015, 07:40:49 PM
I have a LightningAsic/Visionman 200, that I will sell you for $10 plus shipping.  $10 is enough to make me get it out of the attic.  Needs a PSU.

http://www.visionman.com/prospector-200-200ghs-visionmanavalon-asic-bitcoin-mining-rig-p-9305.html

You can actually sell the controller and power board for more the $10 after your done with it (Probably)

I'll buy it for $10.

I PMd him regarding this.

I'll let him decide who to sell it to.
710  Economy / Services / Re: Question on updating alt-coin client based on BTC on: March 09, 2015, 10:16:49 PM
I'm willing to do this for you. I'll be traveling tonight but once I get to my desktop I could give you a hand.

The changes you are asking for are simple - except for the block time, which will require a hard fork (from my understanding).

Feel free to PM me. Thanks.

You could easily be redirecting hashing power on your pool to another site. Why don't you provide a stats page to prove that each users stats are being used on this pool?
712  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: {wts} MINER STARTER PACKAGE on: March 05, 2015, 05:12:07 PM
Interested in the two 1.3 MH/s miners.

We've agreed to a deal of 0.1 BTC shipped for both.

Agreed on with address ship to USA as cheap as pissible

I've also agreed to not use escrow for this deal as we are both Senior members. Once I've sent payment I'll post the transaction ID. Thank you MickGhee.

Sent, please confirm.

Hmm - my post is labeled naive -- or that I am "showing a lack of experience, judgement" -- or I am "unsophisticated or ingenuous."

Really?  Is that what my posts indicate to you?

That's a shame.

The "elders" of this forum need to lighten up.

Yes - most things on this forum are scams, but that doesn't give one the reason to shoot down a good idea.

Nobody is shooting down a good idea. We are just not supportive of bad habits. If you think this will work so well, then just wait and let them prove it.
715  Economy / Economics / Re: Re: treating bitcoin like cash on: March 05, 2015, 12:19:18 PM
yes I have an Ubuntu 14.04 updated and ready to build any altcoin. please send me further info so we can start.

You're misunderstanding. He provides the server.

Also, be sure that you're accepting this job for no pay.

What are you talking about

No longer paying?

I clearly stated I am negotiating a LOWER price, not working without pay.

Did not realize the lower price in the OP - My apologies.

Typically these kinds of things sell better when parted out. Good luck with selling the unit as a whole.

let me ask this way, do you accept escrow ?
We will do even better - PayPal.

Currently testing will be active in 1-2 days.
I don't see PayPal > Escrow (i.e. OgNasty)

It's not, PayPal is a step in the right direction but for PayPal all they have to do is prove they sent something to you.

Not true.  Use a real credit card with not being logged into Paypal and don't use your Paypal account - ever.  You'll have credit card protections.

Why are you such a shill for these people? They've proved nothing to anyone. I'm not bitter, as you mentioned in their other thread. I'm just not going to blindly say that a company is doing a great job when they clearly are not.
719  Economy / Economics / Re: Re: treating bitcoin like cash on: March 05, 2015, 01:47:32 AM
Thread re-opened, looking for up to 100 altcoin daemon compiles

A few notes:

-No longer paying
-64 bit VPS

Just for anyone interested.
720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Script asic miners - Fully liquid cooled 175Mh/s+ rig. on: March 05, 2015, 12:03:37 AM

Well maybe they will come through with their Paypal option.

Awesome! Then we can tie up our money in Paypal for no reason than to get our money back when they fail to deliver. That's way better than sending a one time payment to escrow and dealing with a single person if something goes wrong. I love customer support, because that 100% protects me!

The crypto world is full of scams for a reason.
